Pages 5.5: complete garbage, alas

Pages 5.5: a year after the Big Update. What's missing:
- facing pages (Yes, facing pages)
- non-contiguous selection of text
- hyperlinks
- bookmarks
- mail merege (really, its gone, despite what they say about applescript).
- all manner of typographic capabilities
- printable comments
- etc.
I conclude that Apple is not interest is business, in words, only in pictures and trash "music."

Yeah, I was really hoping this version would bring back some of the most important features dropped since 09 version. Pages really feels clumsy and awkward to use, probably because of its layout and usability limitations on the iPad. It's a shame that one device cripples the software from another. I understand they want both devices to work with the same files but it just seems to make them both a poor user experience.

How can i browse using webbrowser to many pages one by one and waiting for each page to be completed loaded ?

I have this method:

The problems are:
1. When it's getting to the completed event already it's saving the text file with the id number of the second one in the ID's list.
If in the method GetHtmls i used a breakpoint and see that forumsIds is 93 the first one when it's getting to the completed event i see that the id there is already the second one like the loop continue or something.
And if i will wait with the break point and click continue after some seconds the id will be the fourth or fifth depend on how long i'm waiting before click continue.
2. When it's getting to the completed event after saving the text file it's not coming back to the GetHtmls method and not continue the loop and not navigating to the next page.
I need to do it this logic:
Make for loop navigate to the first page now wait somehow when it finished to save the text file of the first page in the completed event only then jump back to the GetHtmls method and continue the loop navigate to the second page and again wait/hold untill
saving the text file of the seocnd page in the completed event. And so on all the loop in the GetHtmls.

I tried it this way now and it's working untill the variable count is 5 then it stop and never continue i can't figure out why it stop and why when it's getting to 5(It's doing the 5 time but then stop and not continue).
In the top of the form i did:

I tried to use try and catch and a break point i couldn't find why it stop and what make it stop and what stopped ? Maybe the timer1 never continue ? But if the timer not continue why it stop when counter is 5 ?
The number of id's in the List<int> forumsIds is 547 and it's equal to the number of forums 547.
I still can't figure out why it stop on counter 5 and what make it stop.

Pages not loading completely

I am seeing intermittent issues with web pages not loading completely, or taking a long time to load. Some times embedded images will not load. The page will often load, but the page loading icon in chrome will carry on spinning.
This is happening periodically and at various times of the day, but has been going on for a couple of weeks. The rest of the time, my broadband speeds are fine and very snappy, as normal.
I've restarted my router (homehub 3) several times.
This doesn't seem to be a general speed problem.
Using speedtest.net, i can see that my download speed is pretty consistent at just under 20mbps.
Using pingtest.net i see no packet loss, with good ping times.
Using the BT speedtest tool, my line speed to the house is around 23mbps, and my download speed is again around 20mbps.
This is effecting all devices attached to the router, both wired and wifi... both windows PC/laptops and ipad/iphone devices.
I am not sure where to look next, and am kind of dreading a conversation with BT helpdesk.
Any ideas?

It seems to be similar issue, but I am seeing this any webiste, including this one, not just on a handful of specific sites.
If I understand the thread above correctly, that issue is with BT, and was apparantly fixed, although the most recent post suggests it has not been. And that if this is the same problem, I can't do anything to fix this myself, other than raise this BT?
Having played around a little more, I think I can see that this problem becomes more accute when i am jumping rapidly from one webpage to another in quick succession, until i get to the point where pages are just not loading anymore.

We are getting the error(session timeout) when user complete the course(content is stting on remote server) and going back to OLMS(EBS R12.1.3) to update the status of course/test.

Can you rule out the NoScript extension as a cause of the issues on those sites? Even if you allow the main site to run scripts, often a website will spread its content over additional servers, so you may need to visit the "S" button menu a second or third time to get full functionality. (Over time, you'll recognize some the servers as being for ads, tracking, or sharing buttons and you can just let those parts of the page not work.)

I start with the home page of a site. Then go to one of the other pages on the same site. I find no way to return to the home page without going completely out of firefox and having to start all over again. In other words the "back" arrow is gray and does not work to get me back to the original home page. Can you help with this?

Try double clicking on the Back arrow. If you click on it and hold it pressed, it should give you a drop down list of the previous pages. You can also achieve that by right click on the Back arrow. But if you do a single, quick click on it, it should take you back.

The text of some menu callouts (sidebar, page style) is completely garbled. Other callouts are correct.

Menu callouts (View - Sidebar and View - Page Style) are completely garbled black boxes and lines. Other callouts (View - Zoom, etc.) appear normal. Windows 8, FireFox 22. Did not have this problem before the last upgrade to FF22.
I completely uninstalled FF and reinstalled. Tried with no add-ins. Problem persists.
Any help would be appreciated.

The 29.99 introductory offer is for existing CS customers ie customers with a CS3-CS6 product (suite or individual product).

Web pages do not completely load

web pages do not completely load. When I fill out forms for an order the continue button does not show. Other buttons do not show.

Make sure that you allow pages to choose their colors and that you haven't enabled High Contrast in the Windows Accessibility settings.

Mousing shows all the available pre-formatted page available in each template to give you an idea what is there, but you only get one, sometimes 2, when you create a new document. All of the other pages can be accessed via the Insert menu. Insert > Sections in word processing & Insert > Pages in page layout.
If they all loaded when you opened a template, you'd have to go through & delete the ones you don't want & duplicate the ones you want more than one of.
FYI: the name of the program is iWork, no 's' & no hyphen

When trying to stream tv, it opens a blank page and says complete

The iWorks prebundled with Mac Minis is a demo release, and not fully featured. Unless you mean you downloaded iWorks from the Mac App Store at a later time, it really can't be freely re-downloaded as fully featured.

Pages not loading completely or at all.

This is a problem I've been having for weeks and weeks. Pages in Safari (or in IE or in Firefox) will not load completely or at all. For example, the apple.com homepage does not load at all and neither does ebay. However, the amazon homepage will load almost completely, but a few of the images don't appear.
I've tried numerous ideas.
I've run through the power cycle. (Turning my router and cable modem off, and then restarting them.)
I've run network diagnotics.
I've reset Safari.
I've typed in IP addresses manually.
We bought a new router.
It even got down to me having to reinstall the operating system. (The computer is fairly new, so there wasn't any important information on it.)
I tried calling my ISP, but they don't know what's wrong.
Apple won't speak to me because my 90 days is up, and my parents won't pay $160 for the care plan.
I'm becoming desperate at this point. I love my new iMac, but there isn't much I can do without the web.
Oh, I also can't download updates, access the iTunes music store, or anything else that requires internet acces.
We have three windows computers in the house that are all running fine on the WLAN.
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

Hmm, can you try logging into another user account to see if the problem is present there as well? This will confirm where the root issue is - your user area or system wide. It sounds like it wil be system wide but best to double check.
If you don't have another account you can use System Preferences -> Accounts -> [+] to create a test one (and [-] to remove it if needed).

Can you expand on what you mean by that? Are you referring to the DNS addresses or typing the IP address in the browsers address entry box?
