Password not sent with mail during creation of new acct on GRC 10

Hello Experts,
When a new user is being created and when his access has been approved and he gets the closing mail the system is not sending a password mail or password with that closing mail.
Is there some setting which needs to be done for this to be able to send out password with mails.
When I do just a PSS it sends out mails to users.
Thanks
Uday

Hi,
In the notification emails, do you get details of the new User ID created and the roles assigned per system etc? We had issues earlier in a project when creating the POC system as the notifications would provide the message "Error In Provisioning" whilst the Application logs stated everything was created and provisioned correctly.
I noticed that you have issues in being able to assign a "End of Request" e-mail notification in the first step of the MSMP config. It may be worth getting in touch with SAP.
As you are on SP07, the notes I had to implement are not applicable as they were all included into the SP07 release.
It might be worth checking with Basis that the password parameters have been set up for the system password wizard etc.
Will update the forum thread if I find anything to share.
All the best

  • Notes Synching With Mail.app -- Unwanted

Following my update to Snow Leopard, all of a sudden the Notes from my iPhone (OS 3.1) started showing up in my email. I do not want Notes syncing with Mail.app. How does one turn this "feature" off?
I have searched through the iPhone settings in iTunes, the settings panel in the iPhone, MobileMe prefs, Mail.app prefs, several System prefs and looked through a bunch of threads here. Lots of talk about synching Notes but most of it prior to Snow Leopard and nothing about killing it. (In case the order makes any difference, the phone went to 3.0 then the Mac to SL then the phone to 3.1.)

Info pane at the bottom, uncheck the Sync notes box.

  • Why email sent with Mail lands in google spam?

    Dear All.
I have set up Mail and i am using this for my business mails etc. with Strato imap accounts.
I noticed that the emails i sent with Mail to a gmail.com email address, arrive automaticly in the gmails spam box. Which ****** my custommers off.
I have a gmail account myself and tested it. And indeed every email goes in spam. I switched my signature off as it contanes a link to an image, but that didn't make any difference either. Even with a few words in the email and a subject they still land in the spambox.
Does anybody know where the problem lays?
    Thanks very much in advance.

So, what are these strato accounts?

  • SMTP password not installed with profile on OS X

    Hi there!
    Setup:
    OS X Server 3.1.1, Mavericks 10.9.3
Open Directory and Profile Manager services are running
I have created a user profile with Mail payload. The profiles containes passwords for both incoming and outgoing servers. This profile is successfully installed on an iOS device (tried several times on different devices), however the SMTP password is never installed when trying to install the same profile on an OS X computer.
We use the same server for incoming and outgoing mail, as well as the one password for both IMAP and SMTP. So I have tried to state the same password separately in the incoming server field and outgoing server field of the payload. I have also tried to use the option "The password for the outgoing server is the same as for the incoming". In both scenarios the password for the SMTP server is not clear after profile installation on OS X.
The interesting thing is that it works perfectly when stating iCloud or Gmail preferences, but the problem exists when trying to state preferences for the mail provided by our server (which is based on the same version of OS X Server).
Any ideas would be much appreciated.

I have this problem as well.  Maybe it's a bug in the profile manager?
I just reported it to apple.

  • Sent mail not sent; .Mac mail not receiving

Having a real problem on several computers. First of all, my ISP assures me that they have not blocked any ports or changed anything about their network recently. And I too have changed nothing recently.
I am not able to send e-mail it seems from my .Mac account, although the messages appear in my Sent folder and I do not receive any error messages. I am not able to send messages to myself to confirm working order. It also doesn't work if I am working thru the web based .Mac e-mail. I have another e-mail address running thru Mail as well and it seems to send and receive e-mail just fine. Although using it to send my .Mac address a message does not work. I have tried to send my .Mac address an e-mail from another .Mac address that my wife uses to no avail either. Similarly my other non-.Mac e-mail address does not receive e-mail from her .Mac address either.
Its puzzling. When I take my wife's MacBook to a local free wifi hotspot all e-mails seem to work fine.

You need to determine if the issue is system wide or isolated to your user account on the computer.
Create a new user account by going to System Preferences>Accounts
Click on the lock in the lower left corner. Enter your admin password.
Click on the + sign and create a new user.
Go to the apple menu and choose the bottom menu choice to log out.
Log into the newly created user account.
Go to System Preferences and choose .Mac
Enter your user name and password in the fields.
    Close System Preferences.
Launch Mail and it should be set up automatically and download your mail from the server.
Test whether you can send and receive.
If it does not work. You have a system wide issue.
Your best bet in that case is a reinstall. You need to make sure you don't have other issues.
Run disk utility from the Utilities folder, choose your hard drive, Verify disk.
If Verify disk fails let me know.
If Verify disk passes then repair disk permissions and you are ready to reinstall.
Do an archive and install preserving user and network settings then do a Software Update.

  • WIFI password not synced with iOS device

For short: I'm excluded off my own WIFI net because Apple's iCloud Keychain didn't sync the WIFI password from my MacBook to my iPad.
For my holidays I bought a nice portable WIFI hard disk. This device can not only take the memory cards of my camera and store the images without any computer, but also establishes a WIFI network, by which I can access the content of the mobile harddisk wirelessly.
At home, I configured this neat device with my MacBookPro and accessed it via WIFI by choosing the WIFI hard disk's network and entering the password, which Apple suggested during the configuration process of the WIFI hard disk. At this moment (entering the WIFI password to connect with the hard disk's network), I had to recurr onto the OSX keychain helper: look for the formerly entered password and paste it into the WIFI accounting form - and check the box "store in the icloud keychain". Ok.
Ok? Nothing's ok on my iOS devices (iPad and iPhone). Why?
By checking the box, I was sure that the password would indeed be synced with and stored within the iCloud keychain.
    But I went wrong!
Now on holidays, with my camera, my iPad, my WIFI hard disk and – without my MacBookPro (because it's a holidays killer) – I tried to connect my iPad with the WIFI of the mobile hard disk. Seeing it's WIFI network, I tapped on it and got the accounting dialog: Enter password.
    Which password?!?
I had instructed the Apple iCloud to store this password – and deliver it to any authorized device if needed.
But Apple, seemingly, did NOT do this and failed to deliver the password to my iPad (which is naturally registered to the same Apple ID as my MacBook).
What shall I do now? I have NO access neither to my MacBookPro (which is at home) nor to my iCloud keychain (which Apple thinks the best to protect against me).
To be honest, I feel patronized in a very ugly way by Apple - once again.
My question is: Why isn't there a way to access or manage the iCloud keychain from an iOS device? Should it be that Apple thinks these devices are LESS SECURE?
Any help is very welcome! Thanks in advance.

    Thanks, FromSouth -
I called Apple Support and they also said that she has to have access to my iCloud account. We did figure out that some of the notes from 2011 and 2012 are from a shared business account which also allows notes, but that is a Verizon account and should not impact, in any way, shape, or form, the iCloud account.
I do not believe my daughter actually did this; I am guessing that her iCloud account was also accessed by her husband (who is not a good guy), and he, without her knowledge, synced her iCloud to his iPhone to track all her stuff. I then believe he got hold of mine and did the same a couple of days ago, as we are all together for a large family vacation (in the same house).
I guess I have a couple more questions about this, though:
Normally, when you sync a new device with your account, you get a message on all your old devices - but I did not get anything of the kind. How would this be possible? I guess maybe if he synced it while standing there with my iPad, then my iPad would get an alert, and he would just turn it off?? (I know all this sounds excessive, but believe me, he'd go to this length.)
I find it difficult to believe that he could have cracked my iCloud password - it's not something that anyone would ever put together easily. How would he be able to access the account without a password? Is there any kind of app or software that he could have installed on my iPad that would allow that? (Again, believe me, he'd do it.)
Is there any way to see in iCloud what devices are linked to the account? That alone would show me what device has this.
Finally, I have my iPad password-protected, so I cannot imagine he would have gotten into my iPad in the first place...how would he have gained access to this otherwise? I really thought I was being very smart on how I set this all up, and two days in the same location as him and now this....
I really thank you for any help you can give me on this one...
    Thanks!

  • .mac Password not accepted in Mail?

I've had my .mac email set up on my iMac for several months and 2 days ago I got a message when Mail was checking for new messages that my password was not accepted and for me to re-enter it. Ever since then it has not accepted my password. Why would it do that all of a sudden and how do I fix it? Mail is setup to remember passwords.

I have my Mail app set to check mail every minute but it does not ask
me for my password that often.
When having the Mail.app check the account for new mail every minute and if there are a number of messages to download and/or a single message contains a large attachment or a number of attachments and the communication with the incoming mail server is not completed and closed for whatever reason before the next automatic check for new mail, you will be prompted to manually enter the account's password instead of being provided a proper error message indicating there was a problem communicating with the incoming mail server.
Change the automatic check for new mail to every 5 or 15 minutes instead which should resolve the problem.
To each his own but I have no need or desire to have my email accounts checked for new mail every minute. Checking for new mail every 5 minutes should be plenty adequate.

  • Norton IS & Adobe Flash not compatible with FF5. Why release new version without compatability?

JEEZ! Your own feedback site doesn't work.
Norton & Adobe Flash are not working with Firefox 5. Yes, I selected "Other Browsers". Before you release a new version, please be sure essentials are compatible. It's a major pain to lose access to these.
    http://www.pandora.com &
    http://input.mozilla.com/en-US/feedback#sad

You won't get any response from Apple when you submit feedback, and in any case Apple almost never explains the rationale behind their decisions. All you can do is provide your comments to them.
    Regards.

  • I phone4 not charging with cable it is very new, i phone4 not charging with cable it is very new

i phone was not connecting with itunes and not charging .

Apple has yesterday issued a software update for iTunes 10.6.3   This has improved the situation considerably for me. Pretty cheesed off with Apple for not informing those who called Apple Support that there was a problem which they were attempting to solve and not to waste their time trying work arounds syncing with iPad3 until the update is issued. Would have saved me 3 weeks of utter frustration with my new expensive toy!

  • Creation of New Acct. Determination Transaction keys in OBYC

    Hi All

I  guess it has to start with Z..
    Thanks
    Samuel

    Hi,
Go to spro >mm>pur>condition>define price determination process>define transaction/event key (OBCN)
Define new keys here then in OBYC u can give acct for it
Also to activate it go to pricing procedure and against the condition in acct key field maintain that event key .
So sytem will pick that acct key for the condiion and GL acct attach to that key

  • Has my e-mail has been compromised.  Recipients have been receiving e-mails from me that I have not sent with nothing in the content bar.  the message has links to "go to".  What should I do?

Is there something I need to do to stop e-mails going to my contacts without anything in the subject?  I haven't sent them.  They include links to various sites?
    Thank you

See My friends are all getting spam from my e-mail address!
(Note that my pages contain links to other pages that promote my services, and this should not be taken as an endorsement of my services by Apple.)

  • One e-mail to a friend I've not sent e-mail to in a month... and it's called "spam"

Just tried to send an e-mail to a friend.  A whopping four short paragraphs with a whopping one hyperlink and Verizon's state-of-the-art "spam detector" says its "spam".
What a crock.  Did they actually pay money for this?  And since when does ONE e-mail constitute spam?
In case you can't sense it, yes, I'm angry.  I've NEVER, EVER had an e-mail blocked because it's spam.  I even did a test.  As soon as I removed the ONE hyperlink (which is to my own, personal website), the e-mail went through.  And Verizon's answer to this is to tell me I have to send the e-mail so that their "third party partner" can review it and decide whether or not its spam?  Hey, Verizon!  Now hear this!  It's MY e-mail and none of your business!  If you want to drive me back to Comcast, this is how to do it!  If I were sending hundreds of e-mails a day, that's one thing.  But this is the first e-mail I've sent in five days.  One e-mail in five days.  And I'm a spammer?  Are ya kidding?
I've now temporarily switched my outgoing SMTP to Gmail (which is not a much better option because they also read and catalog every e-mail that passes through their system).  Verizon!  Get rid of this "spam" (which is not really filtering spam since its just willy-nilly blocking stuff) filter.  It's not working!

"The spam checker even blocked that one."
Wow!  The power of one URL.  Okay, for the first time since this started, the irony of that made me laugh!
Which brings me back to my original question, why does Verizon invoke such a harsh reaction (no e-mail delivery) for ONE e-mail sent in a five day period?  If it were this e-mail PLUS something such as, "He's now sent over 200 e-mails a day for the last week", that I could understand.  But there needs to be some common sense here.  Right now, I'm not seeing it.
