Pathetic speeds now.
Ever since you was told we are switching provider it seems you have throttled us or have some real sever issues now!. Coincidence it starts after asking us to pay a termination fee?..
Now we are getting 0.5mb download speed and 1mb upload. Sorry parents might be easily fooled but I'm not stupid. This isn't acceptable,want us to pay for 0.5mb on infinity 80mb+ Internet. Wonder what ofcom would rule that.
I'm hoping you just have issues although it says you don't in my area. You will be investigated should we find you've throttled us down just because we are leaving!..
From above though, the Internet speed is far from acceptable and worked perfectly since we had it last year. All tests run through ethernet with the max being 0.7 mb download !!!!!!!!

    i purchased a BLackbery Z10 last month but in few days its was not performing well so i gave it to the service centre for repairing . the concerned person told that there is a serious problem but dont worry we will replace this handset with a new one.
    i gave  the handset at the service centre i.e redington india pvt ltd in AHMEDABAD on 5/7/2014 , but still they are not delevering a new handset . its about to be a month but still the service centre people are not giving a proper response saying that the model is out os atock and will be still delayed .

    If I am not geeting a new and defect free handset in this week,  m filling a complaint against blackberry and the concerned  service centre REDINGTON INDIA ahmedabad  at CONSUMER FORUM  for providing me a defective handset and not giving a proper service for replacement as its a month as folling the customer by fake promises done before purchase
    the competitor like SAMSUNG AND APPLE have a customer policy of max to max 5 day replacement against defective handset .
    I will Also apply an RTI as journalist of TIMES OF INDIA for providing data of people in ahmedabad who got such defective pieces and will write a column in my Newspaper TIMES OF INDIA as for TRIAL OF MEDIA

  • Pathetic Apple TV - no home sharing possible? Can connect mac but not ipad or iphone?

    Pathetic apple tv cannot do mirror airplay with iphone and ipad , which was possible before ???
    Miserable apple tv is not able to do home sharing and has frustrated me millions of times with turn on already on home sharing??
    And some of times it will start to have home sharing but slow or unable to play home sharing contents???
    Any chance I can replace or return this waste of money apple tv???

  • When will Verizon/Mo​torola release a DVR with MORE STORAGE?!?​! This is pathetic

    Just thought I would repost a letter I sent to verizon beggin g for more DVR storage, as 160 GB of  storage is pathetic, and laughable whne I can buy a 2 TB drvie for $100. I realize it is Motorola's fault we are locked to 160 GB at the moment, but Verizon is the one who chose them as a vendor, so this is hardly an excuse. Motorola should be able to turn on the USB port on the box for additional storage at the very least. Anyway, here's my letter, posted out of desperation and frustration more so than expecting any great results.
    "Hello. I am anxiously wondering when you plan to offer larger hard drive capacities in your DVRs. We have FiOS now and are happy with the service, however, the fact that the devices can only hold 20 hours of HD content is pathetic, and has us looking to switch back to Dish Network, who allow you to use external hard drives via the USB port on the back of the receivers to add record time. We don't have the kind of lives where we can watch TV every night, so we often have to wait until we can find time to go through our favorite shows, and 20 hours cannot hold more than 1 or 2 episodes of any series with the 10 or so shows we enjoy watching in HD. I realize Motorola makes the boxes and motorla ultimately controls the capacity, but Verizon MUST have some pull here, and if not, you should really look into buying a company that makes boxes and move the operation in house for the sake of keeping customers. Give that a 2 Terabyte drive that can hold over 12 times the amount of shows as the pathetic 120 GB drive in my recorder can be bought at the local best buy for $100, I am sure a large company such as yourself could pick them up for far less. PLEASE make increasing the storage of the DVRs a TOP priority, and please let us customers know your plans with regards to storage in the near future.     That IS good news.  We're constantly juggling and recording in SD because of the low storage capacity in the Motorola unit.  Any idea on the time frame for the new DVR and will current subscribers be able to upgrade?  I was just about to upgrade our old Series 2 Tivo to Series 3 HD and then do the home-upgrade on that to 1.5TB.

  • Pathetic Adobe Support

    This is a vent. Please excuse me for it. I am in Australia. I have a LEGAL copy of LightRoom v1.4.1, I also installed the Beta of v2. When the release version of v2 was announced, I downloaded it and installed it. I have a problem with metadata create dates of all my photos taken in 2006.
    Since the 4th of August, I have been trying to get support for this issue. I logged an online call with Adobe that was picked up by an Adobe person, apparently in India. This issue is STILL UNRESOLVED with not one iota of assistance other than several apologies for delays of multiple days between responses from Adobe. It's been 'transfered to Tier 3', but I haven't heard anything from anyone other than the initial person assigned the call.
    Adobe, this is PATHETIC. How can you possibly expect people to buy your product with this type of support? I'm a paying customer for %^)&%'s sake!
    If anyone has any ideas how to shake the very hard to find Adobe tree, please let me know. I will be ringing, by telephone, Adobe Australia tomorrow to officially complain.
    A great product experience, RUINED by pathetic customer service.

    Well, why don't we try to solve it here? Have you tried importing those files into a brand new catalogue? What sorts of files are we talking about? What is special about 2006? Is it the only year affected? Have you used any other application (eg iView) to write metadata directly into the files?
    In some ways, it's a general problem with support of relatively low ticket items. Though third world call centres add a new dimension of frustration, some things stay the same - often it's other users who help most, they know every bit as much as the support staff, and they can call a spade a spade.

    If your phone is defective (aside from the accidental damage) Apple will fix or replace the phone. You saud you purchased the phone in January so it is still under warranty.

  • Pathetic iPhone 4 Wi-fi download speeds

    Alright, so I got my iPhone 4 recently and I've noticed the download speed over Wi-fi is pathetic. I can easily get 400-450 kB per sec down on my Macbook but can't get a measly 150 kB per sec on my iPhone which makes streaming videos like on youtube unbearable. I can get faster speeds over 3G. I remember having the same problem with my old 3G so it seems like a software problem. What would I do to fix this?
    I'm using a Linksys WRT400N Dual band Wireless N router as an access point for a AT&T 2Wire model 2701HG-B Gateway.

    The problem lies in the Safari browser for the Iphone versus the Mac. The Mac Safari browser is fast. My Ipod Touch browser is faster than the Iphone browser, and I'm connected via Personal hot spot. The engine running Safari on the Iphone is very slow, and Apple needs to desperately fix this. It is a browser issue.

  • G580 - pathetic download speed & wifi connectivity

    I had purchased G580 laptop in October & upgraded to windows 8. Since then, the wifi problem has been regular. After   updating the drivers the wifi is mostly. Once in a while I have to restart the router..  That's still OK, but the download speed is really pathetic.
    I have another old Acer Laptop with windows 8 (upgraded) too. I have an 8 MBPS broadband connection. The Acer laptop has 1 Mbps download speed without any hindrance. But, the Lenovo G580 is giving 250kbps downloads, that too with regular stoppages. Another big issue - while.. this dead slow download happens, not even a single webpage opens.. Regular "error loading" messages.
    Kindly help in rectifying the issue as I have updated all the drivers through windows update as well as lenovo site.
    I'm using a bitdefender antivirus, will that have any problem with wifi speed ??
    Kindly advice as the only other option is to discard the laptop.

    If you have the Atheros AR9285 Wireless Adapter, you can try to:
    1. Update your wireless card driver to v10.0.0.221, get it here, otherwise skip this step.
    2. Depending on your brand of router (and if applicable), make sure you disable WMM QoS (Wireless Multimedia) and WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup)
    3. Use a WPA2-PSK TKIP or AES encryption.
    4. If you have a dual band router (2.4Ghz and 5Ghz), try to use only the 2.4Ghz band.
    5. Temporarily disable any running firewall / antivirus software.
    5. After applying steps 1-5, try running a speedtest again via www.speedtest.net.
    Let me know the result.

  • Poor Pathetic Safari :( can't keep up with the big boys

         Safari is the most pathetic product Apple has to offer. not only is the slow to load, but it can't seem to stop crashing. If your going to use a cloud based system that all your products can interactively communicate and utilize the common data, wouldn't you want to ensure the one product that is the hub of all things on the web was perfected and not so tempermental? get it together, this product has been such a problem. Surely there are people over in Apple land that know how to get it to function like the big boys.

    Please read this whole message before doing anything.
    This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
    The purpose of this exercise is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party system modifications that load automatically at startup or login. Boot in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. First, disconnect all wired peripherals except keyboard, mouse, and monitor, if applicable, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards. The instructions provided by Apple are as follows:
    Be sure your Mac is shut down.
    Press the power button.
    Immediately after you hear the startup tone, hold the Shift key. The Shift key should be held as soon as possible after the startup tone, but not before the tone.
    Release the Shift key when you see the gray Apple icon and the progress indicator (looks like a spinning gear).
    The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
    Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, and some things won’t work at all, including your login items.
    Launch the application(s) and test. Same problem(s)?
    After testing, reboot as usual (i.e., not in safe mode.)

    With the help of social media, I want to bring the very pathetic experience I had with best buy this festival season.
    Here is the brief details for my case  Order number: {removed per forum guidelines} Order date: 12/25/2014. I ordered brand new Samsung smart LED TV.
    First I have been billed more than I have placed order online. When I called customer care they told sorry for it and told that bill has been adjusted and provided me reference number. Second  I received the order with missing stand. When I called to customer care I have been informed that may be product is shipped by mistake as open box and they will give me 40 dollar gift card and replace the item. But  till date after writing around 15 email and 20 calls still my issue is not resolved. I have escalated the issue to escalation team/supervisor also but seems like there is no process for escalation.
    Till date issue is not resolved and neither I get the gift card not I got the correct bill. I will not recommend anybody to purchase any product from best buy.
    I was believing that best Buy is global brand and we can trust but seems like there is no process for escalation and they don’t care about any customer any more.

  • Growing PDF File Size is Pathetic

    Hey all,
    I have been using Acrobat for a number of years but ever since my organization updated me to v9, this growing file size is pathetic! If I move a button on a form, the file size grows 100k. If I add a field, the file size grows 100k. I started with a 58k size form (with about 25 fields), and making a few changes and adding a field or two pushed the size over 1meg?!?!
    Is there ANYTHING that I can do to stop this? (and yes, I have tried "optomizing" the form using all sort of included options, and on mulitple occasions, optomizing the form ADDED size to the file!?)
    And lastly, is Adobe EVER going to fix this??

    On other forums, users who have this problem have said that it's Acrobat adding redundant "XML Junk" to the file. They also say that a way to remove it is to save the form as a "XDP", then "hex edit" all the junk out. Yeah...like I am gonna do all that

    I visited the hp service center, A 200, Okhla phase 1, New Delhi branch 5 months back. My laptop screen was flickering and was producing sound while handling/ moving the laptop from one place to another. It was completely a hardware problem as analysed and i communicated the same to the executive at service center. Regardless of reviewing my problem he just formatted my laptop which was a temporary solution to the problem. I told him that its a hardware problem and will happen again for sure after sometime, even then  he ignored my feedback. Now my warranty period expired on 28th Aug and am facing the same problem with my laptop. After my visit to the same service center today i...e 1st Sept the executive told me to replace the TFT screen. This is completely unethical and pathetic services guidance by the hp services as on to why i was not told to change the TFT screen when i faced the problem last time and that too during my warranty period.
    Now the executive are not even ready to format it as they did it before to provide me a temporary solution.
    Need a solution from the services manager in terms of the blind guidance by the same service center recommended to me.
    It seems to me that hp service center are NOT providing TRUE AND LOYAL SERVICE to their customers and are fooling them by giving temporary solutions during the warranty period and waits for the same to get over and make money afterwards.
    Huge disappointment..
    Never expected from HP services.
    Revert awaited for solution for me to use and continuation of hp laptop.

  • Pathetic customer support on new computer - won't buy Toshiba again

    As an IT professional, I find Toshiba's phone support pathetic.   Extended wait times, even when answered by a tech, without rational resolution.
    I purchased an All-in-One PX35T, receiving it 3 days ago.  Windows Update for Windows 8 kept crashing it, requiring a reset, wiping all the setup work.  I called Tech Suppor twho informed me first that the first call was free and I'd be charged $40 for subsequent calls and wouldn't I like to pay $140 for another year of 'free' support.   When I questioned this, they then backed down and told me the first 90 days were free support.   I read the specifications that says there is 1 year of limited support. Of course it doesn't say what kind of support.   I'm coming to the conclusion that 'limited' means 'pretty limited'.
    After being bounced around over several calls then finally to a supervisor, I was informed it was Microsoft's problem and that Toshiba recommends installing one update at a time.  There were over 120 updates pending.  Time invested 4 hours with Toshiba Tech support, not counting the many hours doing reset at their direction.  During the many lengthy wait times, their on-hold announcement included "Toshiba supports software that is installed on our computers"
    Once I then worked for 3 hours with Microsoft to resolve the issue and got the PC stabilized, I found that the bundled Norton Antivirus needed activation for the one year subscription that came with the computer (  http://support.toshiba.com/support/staticContentDe​tail?contentId=4002052&isFromTOCLink=false ) and Toshiba Tech Support, once again bounced around 4 times over the span of 2 hours of hold, first telling me that it wasn't included, then ending with the explanation is that either the vendor was supposed to put a card with the activation code in the box or Toshiba was supposed to.   The suggested solution was to send the computer unit back to the vendor and have them ship a new one because they were unable to get a keycode from another department within Toshiba.  All this for a antivirus subscription worth perhaps $60.  Needless to say, this was unacceptable and quite frankly, a very stupid suggestion on their part.
    Time spent troubleshooting a new computer 18 hours over 3 days.  Setup time lost besides is 4 hours.  Really.   Maybe they pay their foreign call center works peanuts because it also occupied their time.
    I've owned and supported a number of Toshiba computers, but something is wrong with a company that doesn't put their customers first, particularly on a new purchase.    Good customers are hard to get and easy to lose.    They are losing me for any further purchases of mine or for others that I'm asked to recommend.

  • Most Pathetic Service Experience - Sony

    Dear Sir,Greetings for the Day !!!! I wish to highlight few point regarding the poor service standards of Sony India that I have experienced in past few days after purchasing a Sony Z1 handset – refer to the attached bill. The facts are as mentioned below: I bought a Sony Z1 handset from Reliance Store on 23rd June 2015, the set was brand new and working well.Just after one week I started facing the problem of voice getting echoed whenever I speak to anyone.I raised the issue on your Facebook page and a solution was offered to me online. I tried the solution still the problem was persisting.I visited your authorized Service Centre “ SAI Service Centre” at Faridabad – one of the most pathetic and horrible service experience I had in my life till date.Refer to the job sheet to witness the quality of your service center and its employees – How come my mobile which is purchased in June 2015 can be out of warranty????My handset which was brand new with zero scratches – how come they have written scratched. Later when I insisted I will not sign this job sheet then they have manually written – phone is in good condition – refer to the attached job sheet.When I asked how many days it will take to repair – they told me that they can’t comment on the same. It can take days or even months. No estimated date has been mentioned on the Job sheet as well.No stand by handset was provided despite of the fact I requested for the same.Till date no stand by handset has been given.Even today when I have called up the service center to find out by when I can expect my mobile back – they still have no confirmation.Apart from the technical facts mentioned above it goes without saying the staff is ill-mannered – don’t know how to speak to a customer. Do not know their own processes and threatening to the customer. Your webpage says – “Everything we do, is to move you emotionally” - Is this the way to move a customer emotionally. I work for Reliance Retail and we sell your products from our stores – this transaction has really put me in dilemma can I really trust a brand like SONY????? I expect a reply on this mail with resolution of my complaint to my satisfaction. I hope I will hear from you………………………………………….. Thanks & Regards,Bhupendra Rana
