Hi ,
In IT-1005 i :e Planned compensation , we can use one of three types of planned compensation
1. Pay grade - salary
  wherein we can store the data from pay grade structure( eg - pay grade , pay grade level , pay grade type & pay grade area)
based on the entries system displays the minimun & maximum amount and the internal reference sal for the job or postion .
2 Pay scale - Here we store data from the pay scale structure on the level of jobs /positions that includes ( pay scale groups, level , type & area).Here system suggests the min and max sal/wage for job /position.
3. Direct
   This is used if there is no pay grade or pay sacle structure . here we simply enter the min & max amount to be paid for job /postion.

    If that field which you wants to add is available in one of the structures like EKKO,EKPO then you can add that field just beside the other fields
    If that field is not there in the any of the structures then you can define a variable using define command
    /: DEFINE  &VAR&
    / &VAR&  = <some value>
    or you can write subroutines to fetch the data from outside tables and can use those fields data in the script

  • Defaulting PayScale Group and Level in IT0008.

    The System is configured as that the Payscale Group and Level will get defaulted in IT0008 from the Planned Compensation maintained for the Job.
    This is working fine for all personnel areas except one.
    Can anyone pls explain what all tables/SPRO nodes I have to check for the same?

    I craeted Payscale group & Level in V_T510. Eventhough these values are not coming as F4 (drop down)values in IT0008.
    Pls adivice where I have missed the configuration.

  • Payscale Reclassification report RPIPSR00 giving error

    Hi Experts,
    We are implementing OM/PA in SAP ehp6
    We are trying to use standard Payscale Reclassification report RPIPSR00 based on Age.
    whenever we run this report for an employee we get a balnk putput,it does not upadte the IT0008
    we have mainatined values in the view  V_T510_PSRCL as SAP documentation suggests.
    Kindly suggest the correct method to run this report successfully

    I have maintained the TARIFF and LGMST properly..
    One employee has joined 02.01.2011.In configuration i have maintained the condition 1 year(11 months)..I have maintained the IT0041.
    If run report RPIPSR00 i am getting the error..

    An Employee Pay scale structure consist of pay scale type, pay scale area, pay scale group & pay scale level.
    Pay scale type mean what kind of your industry domain is for example is it a software industry, manufacturing or retail industry
    pay scale area is geografical location
    both pay scale type & area is defaulted by feature tariff.
    pay scale group is basically customised by taking job evaluation & indirection evalution in consideration.
    for example pay scale group can be manager ( generic job) in this again subdivision will be there which are called pay scale level. for example group manager and level 1 will get a salary package of 1...... amount.
    by maintaing different level & group we can maintain pay scale of different employees in the organisation.

    Does anyone know how to get project systems / finance to read the payscale group and levels from HR (instead of reading the rate from Project Systems - CP26).

    Do you want to get payscale groups and level on CAT2 screen(time entry screen).
    If thats your question,yes you can get that.For that you have change the settings of the CATS profile you are using.
    The Display IMG path is
    Cross-Application Components->Time Sheet->Time Recording--->Choose Fields
    And in that click on DataEntry selection and uncheck the hide radio button for the Payscale area and group.

    you can maintain a parameter transaction for PC00_M10_CALC_SIMU inn SE93.to maintain payroll schema and payroll area as default

  • Making Canada specifi changes to RPIPSR00 Payscale Reclassification Report

    Hi Guru's,
    We got the requirement to work around the standard SAP report Payscale Reclassification which RPIPSR00. Since this is not suits to our client specific Canada changes we are required to create a custom program or need to impliment BADI. Please find the following changes that we need to impliment in the custom progrem.
    1.The program should automatically progress full-time employees which have reached the threshold (time in level or hours worked) to progress to the next level.
    2. Employees that are part-time and must meet a certain number of actual hours to jump to next step in the progression program and this is done manually by HR. These employees should be excluded from the progression program but are included on the progression report.
    3. Employees that require an examination prior to moving to the next level do not progress automatically.  The manager notifies HR once they have completed the appropriate training and HR manually progresses them to the next step. These employees should be excluded from the progression program but are included on the progression report as due to progress pending examination. Need an indicator within the rules configuration to be able to note levels which require an examination prior to progression
    3. Check for a temporary rate higher than next step rate
    4.Not progress any employees that are part-time or require certification.
    5. Program needs to read the IT0019 Date stored in u201CStep Progression Base Dateu201D field to determine when the previous progression date was. Step Progression program will need to update this date when the program is run to match the begin date (BEGDA)  of IT0008 Reason Code u201CStep Progressionu201D.
    6.Program should run report to automatically update the Pay Scale/Level for eligible employees and reflect this update on their IT0008 basic pay record.
    Could you please advise me on this whether do we have any  BADI's or Enhancements to achieve this requirement or need to go for Custom program with the prototype soluiton.

  • Error while entering payscale group in IT8

    Error that data not there in T510 while entering payscale group in production system where as Payscale structure is maintained in T710 and working well in development and testing system for IT8

    I have the same problem as in our design we configured the grades and levels in T710. But Infotype 8 is searching for T510 and right now we still don't know how we can have it redirected without using TARIF feature.
    It is working for a country that we did not implement and it did not use TARIF feature. What other ways could there be to use the pay grades and levels in T710 instead of having IT0008 look for values in T510? What configuration could be missing?

    How many payscale groups can employee have? Can he have only one payscale group? Or can he have multiple payscale groups?

    Pay scale Group gives the information regarding the Employee eligible wage types
    and this PSG is linked with Allowance grouping so i dont think he can have more than one pay scale grouping
    and this allowance grouing determines the Wage types that are displayed in the Basic Pay infotype
    we can change the PSG  thru certain actions etc

  • Payscale Area and Work hrs/period  - IT 0008

    Can anyone please provide me with the linkage between the Payscale Area and Work hrs/period in Infotype 0008.
    The data for an employee reflects wrongly in the work hrs/period... Its ahould have a value 80.00 ad Biweekly and instead has 162.94 Monthly.
    Can anyone please tell me where these changes needs to be carried out

    Use Tcode SM30
    Type table  V_T508A
    Go to maintain
    Select your Work Schedule rule
    Go to details
    You will give the hours here that hour only disply in IT0007 and 0008
    Default that field is monthly hour field only it will display
    If you want to display Bi weekly hours you need to do the screen modifaction programming go to that field and put BI Weekly hours Data Element instead of Monthly hours field
    This will be not done with config only Abaper can do

      PC00_M40_REMS - Claims Status  report.
    What changes are to be made in congiguration.

    As sree neni said, If IT1005 is maintained at position or Job level then the values get defaults in IT0008.
    check IT1005 at position or Job level. If not maintained then try to create IT1005 through T.code PP02 or PP01 at position level or Job level .

    Personnel Calculation Rule:(PCR)
      A personnel calculation rule is a frame of work instruction that is checked with the existing conditions and a resulting action is performed. The Personnel Calculation rule allows one wage type to be processed in different ways in payroll accounting. The value of the standard pay wage type should be used as a basis of valuation for hourly wage earners. The value of the standard pay wage type should be divided by the planned working hours before being used as a basis of valuation for salaried employees.
    1 u2013 Hourly wage earner
    2 u2013 Monthly wage earner
    3 u2013 Salaried employee
    Collective Agreement Provisions: (CAP) :
    A standard agreement designates the same pay scale groups and level for both hourly wage earners and salaried employees, however the user must still be able to enter hourly or monthly values in the pay scale table.
    1 u2013 Industrial workers / hourly wage
    2 u2013 Industrial workers / monthly wage
    3 u2013 Salaried employee
    4 u2013 Non Pay scale employees
    5 u2013 Public servant

    Yes if client want new description for the PS Group, you have to create new only and assign the wage types to them and so on..... you have to do all the configurations regarding the PS Group. Here the main point is be careful with the start date of the PS Group for newly created records and assignments.
