Pearson profile merging problem

hi,
i did my OCA in 9i database in march,2009 through prometric (id: OOOOOOO )
i did my OCA in application server 10g in feb,2010 through pearson (id: NNNNNNN )
after my exams with pearson,i got my score report in 'my account' page in Pearson site.
later,i got mail from oracle,asked to contact Pearson to merge my profiles.
i mailed to pearson for the same.they merged,and said now the current oracle testing id is ( OOOOOO ) i.e. which i got in prometric.
after merging,in my profile page in pearson account,i cant found my recent exam history with pearson(which i saw before merging of profiles).
in 'My Account --> view history' page of Pearson it shows
"You have not previously taken any exams with Pearson VUE."
i keep on contacting pearson about the issue,they too keep on sending mails,that my password has ben changed,'try it now'.
also,in 'cert view' of oracle,i tried with prometric id,my account 'authorization verication' got failed(third attempt) and now i cant access the page.i mailed [email protected],but yet now no response.
am scared,as i have to submit my score report in my company,also am in the process of doing OCP.
what should i do now to resolve the issue.

regards -->Abdur Raoof1) Hopefully you have your certificate from your 9i DBA OCA exams. (I assume you took 1z0-007 and 1z0-031). You should have received that by may 2009; so that shouldn't be an issue.
2) The situation on problems with Certview registration should normally be resolved by Oracle. I am not sure what you will find when you get access, but perhaps it will be useful. However remember it may take a few days (and i cannot remember wether this is 3 days or closer a couple of weeks).
3) For the 10g App Server I assume we are talking about the exam 1z0-311. Please check this is the case.
- Pearson VUE deal with Exam Names and Codes on behalf of Oracle, not certifications.
- So as I understand it from their viewpoint you would currently be missing a 1z0-311 (Oracle Application Server 10g: Administration I) exam result.
- I believe it is important you obtain an incident number from Pearson VUE; and that incident refers to the inability to track your 1z0-311 exam.
- If you go back to them then say their attempted reslution of the incident did not work and could they escalate this. They need to be given the opportunity to escalate it. It may even need a technical person to track your accounts. If this fails then as a last resort ask for the complaints procedure. Also check if they are able to see your 1z0-311 pass.
- Your 1z0-311 score report should also have been printed and gvien to you at the testing station; sometimes this does not seem to have happened recently (see below). (this is not proof, as (almost) anyone could mock up a forged score report).
4) - On your Pearson VUE account you say your 'View history' is blank. Check your exam is not in your 'Current Activity'. For instance I took an exam yesterday, after I completed the exam still eight hours later it was in current activity (recent activity block) only with a status of 'scheduled'. By this morning it is in both current activity/recent activity with a status of 'taken' and also not in exam history with a status of 'taken'. It will, I assume, move on to a status of 'pass' at some point in the 'history' tab and be removed from my current activity tab.
5) As your exam was in march it is possible you took a biometrics associated identity checking (photo taken) which was linked to your test result. I believe there have been a couple of issues wrt revised Pearson Software associated with this certainly which have included Score Report Printing and failure to deliver exam. It is an outside possibility you have suffered from this.
In summary I think you should pursu with Pearson VUE in first instance but obtaining and incident number and requesting escalation.

  • Email PDF from Mail Merge Problem

    Using a data source of email addresses from Excel 2003 and performing a mail merge in Word 2003 with the Mail Merge to Adobe PDF button, everything worked okay and the emails generated to the outbox in Outlook 2003 with the relevant PDFs attached.  However, once they were mailed the recipients who use Outlook Express had the attachments missing.  I'm using Acrobat 8.1.5
    I've seen previous queries about this and it seems to relate to Outlook using a RTF format.  I set Outlook to default to html and then plain text formats but still had the same problem. Can anyone suggest how I can solve this or if the problem is Outlook related, then another email program that would work without causing this problem (preferable freeware or inexpensive).

    Just an interesting after thought, since you mentioned blocking. Several federal agencies and companies block zip files also. I ran onto a message recently about the university blocking zip files at one time because of a problem. Mail merge files are typically personalized and it would be nice for them to go intact. If they re not personalized, but just being sent in general, then posting the basic file and e-mailing a link might work better. For a lot of things I do, I just use the mail merge that is built into my e-mail client. That creates a mail-merge of messages that are personalized.
    Just thought the blocking comment might be of interest, though I give the same advice. I am not sure how it could be done with zip in a mail merge sense.

  • IC WebClient profile assigment problem

    I have a problem with the webclient profile assignment to my end users.  I don't have that problem.  When I try to assign the webclient profile to my end user through the org and their position, the new profile never display once the users logon into CRM.  It's just display a standard SAP webclient "default" profile.  I did everything I can the same as mine, but it did not work for my users.  Is there any othe way to assign this customized web client profile to my users except assign them through their position in the org.  I check and they are correctly integrated in the org with the employee role, and their user id are populated in CRM correctly.  I also check the CRMM_IC_APDISPLAY, and it indicates the correct customizing profile like mine, only when they launch CRM_IC, the profile did not reflect with the conrrect entry in CRMM_IC_APDISPLAY.  Please help because all the customization is done, and my user can't use them.  Thank you in advance and will rewards points.

    You can try going to transaction SU01 to see that their roles and profiles are setup correctly. If they don't have the correct access there, they won't be seeing anything.
    Other than that, you said you checked to ensure that they were properly set up in the business partner, meaning that in the Identification tab they have their user id is properly selected under the Employee Data box. Then from there, you want to make sure that they are properly assigned to the right position, in the right cell of the structure (transaction PPOMA_CRM).
    The last thing I would check to see is if the correct IC WebClient Profile is selected for the cell. You can do this by going to transaction PPOMW and selecting the cell you need to look at. From there, select Goto ->Detail Object ->Enhanced Object Description. From there, if you select the line for IC WebClient Profile there should be a green check right next to it. If not, you'll have to create one for the cell. Do that by clicking the Create Infotype button and then selecting the correct IC WebClient Profile and saving.
    If all of these things are set up properly, your user should be able to see the customized version of your webclient.

    I am trying to merge 6 single page pdf documents into one pdf file.
    I am receiving this error on two of the six docs:
    "These documents contain subset fonts that have the same name and cannot be merged"
    Can anyone help me work through this issue?

    I have exactly the same problem. How do I turn the subset off? Ticking off the option with percentages doesn't help.. What else could cause the problem? Please help, it's pretty urgent!

  • Mail Merge problem with Word 2007

    I recently replaced my laptop and installed Office 2007.  When I try to create mailing labels, it is only merging the first three labels and those are not formatted correctly or even consistently.  It seems like a compatibility problem, but my
    excel document was also created in Excel 2007. I was using Office 2007 on my old laptop and never had this problem.

    I don't think I'm having the same problem. You'll want to closely examine the links to be sure that you have selected Work phone and Work address, etc. for the merge, then make sure that in your Address Book you've also used the Work identifier for these fields.
    I suppose that you know that you can merge one or more records at a time by dragging your Contact Card(s) into the Merge document. That might be a good troubleshooting tool.

  • OO ALV Cell Merge Problem when editable fields

    Hi there!
    I'm using OO ALV ( CL_GUI_ALV_GRID ) and experiencing a strange problem.
    I'm interested in the cells merging functionality of ALV, when i sort data for a specific field.
    It works fine but only if i do not set any field as editable ( lvc_s_fcat-edit = 'X' ).
    For some reason ALV loses some of its functionality when you set a field as editable.
    I've noticed it also with the functionality of expanding/supressing data when using subtotals.
    If any field is set as editable then subtotals come always expanded, you cannot supress them...
    Has anyone else experienced somethng like this before? Any help will be appreciated!

  • CS4 file merging problem

    Hi Everyone,
    I hope somebody can help me with this one.
    I have 2 sites each with it's own root folder, each was started as it's own site using it's own the selected root folder.
    The 2 sites share the same template, with the same spry assets, menu bar etc...
    2 problems,
    First, Somehow the files are "merging" in DW on me, so that when I make a change on one template it changes the template in the other root folder for the other separately designated site.
    Both sets of files were stored on my desktop, so I copied one set of files to my documents and in doing so it changed some things around, which leads to my second problem(s)
    One template lost the banner, footer, and side bar images that I had inserted (not a big deal to restore)
    The other template in the other root folder lost the code for the spry tabbed panel that I had inserted and I'm not sure how to get that back in.
    Can somebody please help me with this?

    As a guess, it could be that you are working in both sites at the same time, and DW has a hard time with that.  If you are going to work on site A, then in your Files Panel, it must be Site A listed in the drop down box.  Other wise you may be saving a file for Site A in Site B, and from there the calamity just exculates.
    But that is just a guess.

    I just bought new iMac, with Solid State Drive 256GB and HDD of 2 TB.
    The problem is that I have to import my profile of old iMac where music, images, video etc. are about 800 GB... and import utility does not give the possibility to choose target drive for the storage of archives and libraries... it just propose as target the main disk (SSD) and says there is not enough space...
    Anyone could help? Is there a solution?

  • Roaming profile login problem to the domain

    Hi all,
    Domain Environment, DC Server with Server OS of Microsoft Server 2008 R2 Standart SP1.
    Roaming profiles unable to login to the domain on couple of PC's. They just inserting the password, starting to wait to log in with "Welcome"
    on the screen, its thinking and looks like hes gona open the user's desktop but in this secong its just logging out back to the login screen.

  • Multiple Data Merge - Problem Resolve... Sort Of

    I've researched this issue all morning and found issues dating back to 2012 regarding the problems with Indesign's Multiple Record Data Merge. Many of the issues are answered with the basic set up. Create a new page as a single page and non facing page document. It appears that an earlier bug was resolved that caused data merge documents to be placed off center when produced. The issue that I was experiencing was similar to what I had seen but not covered or not answered when it appeared someone was posting a question about it.
    I started with a single page document, non-facing page, no initial text box, and sized to 8.5'' x 11''. I'm layout out name badges 10-up on a page. I had a previous template that had some graphics in the background for alignment purposes. I created a blank master page and a record holder for the name badge then loaded my data source, placed my data entries, and styled accordingly. Upon creating a data merge I selected Multiple Record and then previewed the data merge and positioned the elements on the page using the data merge controls top, left and column placement commands.
    The preview looked perfect. The problem came when I finished the final data merge. The resulting page was not correct and looked nothing like the preview. Records were strewn about the page and excessive amounts of pages were created. I spent 4 hours trouble shooting this, far more than this project was billed. At this point it was a mission. In a reply dated back around 2013 I found that someone had removed a layer from their document. I had no layers. The only thing that was not a part of the actual data merge was the graphics that I had on the page for positioning that were not tied to the data merge at all.
    I decided to delete these graphics and try to apply the data merge again. The results were perfect. I'm deducing from this experiment that the data merge needs to be done on a blank page. Which is counter productive to the Indesign mater page template. Any elements on the page need to exist as a a part of your data entry group and no other elements on the page. You only create one data entry group in the top corner of the page then use the data merge panel to position and duplicate. Otherwise, you will get a single page for each record you have with each record set 10-up in my case.
    Recap:
    Create a single non-facing page document with no intial text box. (if you have more than one page the Multiple Records option will be grayed out)
    Only have 1 layer in this document
    Set a single data entry set/group on the master page.
    Do not include any other graphics. Put them in after the data merge.
    Click the Create Merged Document button in the data merge panel
    Select "Multiple Records" from the drop down list
    Click the Multiple Record Layout tab at the top of the Data Merge panel
    Click "Preview Multiple Record Layout" at the bottom of the Data Merge panel so you can see the Entry Sets with the data in place
    Use the Margins and Layout or Records inputs to position the elements on the document (see note below)
    Click OK when everything is in place the way you like it.
    After the data merge is complete you will have a new document that should look like you want it to. Now you can go into this document and start adding your design elements.
    NOTE: Positioning the content without the base graphics can be tough if not impossible. What I did in this situation is placed my positioning guides on the page then went through Steps 1-9 to set up the document for merge. Once my settings were set I then clicked "Cancel" and deleted my positioning guides and graphics. The problem I was having was due to these elements being on the page. Once I created the document I then pasted my template guides back into the final data merged master page for production.
    Request to ADOBE: Fix this issue so we can design our layouts and position our data merge elements without having to backtrack.

    If you insist in multi-record data merge, you can have static/variable graphic and text components work. But, create a 3.5 x 2 frame (3.75 x 2.25 card w/bleed) around all of these components, and make sure nothing extends beyond this bounding frame. If the composition prevents you from enclosing all components, then make a PDF of content that is imported in as one graphic.
    Another suggestion: don't combine the functions of variable data merge with imposition.
    Create a 1up layout of business card to data merge the variable info.
    From this file, export to PDF.
    Then impose the individual cards with: an imposition app, PDF plug-in, Indesign script, or even manual placement into another document.

  • Master page spread - data merge problem

    ok - I  prematurely posted b4 that I could successfully do this but am stuck with one  problem that is a show stopper.
    I have  a master page spread [left and right pages] which has several fields which I populate on  over 200 pages with data merge. I got this to work ok but teh snag is  that the merge only works  on teh first master page - and since InDesig automatically starts with a right hand page - this would be teh 2nd page of my spread - I can get  both pages to merge data correclty but I wind up with  a starting right hand page - then a left hand page  facing a right hand page which is not for hte same record but the record below it. Is tehre any way aroudn this? Is tehre any way I can force inDesign to start with a  left hand page?

  • PB30 Short Profile enhancement problem

    Hi Experts,
    If you go to the PB30 Tcode there is a tab for applicant short profile..named just 'short profile'.When you hit that, it shows all the details of the applicant which you have entered from T code PB10 which is Initial entry of applicant master data.
    On this short profile screen I need to enhance it with an additional field PERNR which is the personel number which is currently non existing.The output of this screen seems to be coming from a Script which I am not able to identify yet.When I dig into the code It leads me to SAPMSSCD mainline and there is some heavy logic for getting the output onto the screen using an OTF table.I am really not able to figure out how and where do I get this new field to populate in the OTF table with the existing logic..or do I need to modify the inbuilt coding or is there any other efficient way.

  • Account merging problems

    I had an account I'd been using for some time with contacts I want to keep. Been a while since I used it in anger.
    I couldn't remember the logon details at work and it wouldn't provide me with a reset token that worked, so I had to create a new account just to talk to someone at work.
    I then come home and find out I have a third skype account linked to my microsoft account - probably created when I installed the win 8 app.
    So I installed the desktop client and when I logon with my microsoft account, I don't get the merge options, it dumps me straight into the normal window.
    Is there some way to force skype to give me the options to merge - I'd rather have my oldest account and the new one I created merged into the microsoft account, but i can't find an easy way to do that.

    The problem with opportunities in my system is, that they are not merged at all, not even with the batch job. I checked trx. BUSWU02. Node CRM370 is assigned to variant CLEAR_REP.
    Also the central Business Partner in opportunity remains changable, once the opportunity was saved.
    Anything else I have to check??
