Performance Appraisal - Add PA, PSA, EG and ESG to PHAP_ADMIN_PA
Hello
There is a requirement to add Personnel Area, Personnel Subarea, Employee Group, Employee subgroup to the output of the report generated by PHAP_ADMIN_PA.
What steps we need to take in order to meet the business need? Also, it would be great if you can also comment on the level of effort in manhours, if possible.

I appreciate your feedback. However, just to clarify, I am looking to add the functionality to PHAP_ADMIN_PA on the R/3 side (not on the portal side). The transaction code generates the output for the following columns by default. I would like to add <b>PA, PSA, EG, ESG</b> and <b>Appraisal Substatus</b> to the output for meeting our business needs.

Firstly check your company code with the FI consultant, for which you want the PA,PSA etc
Go to SPRO->Enterprise structure->Definition->Human Resource Management->PA, PSA, EG, ESG
Then to connect all of them,
SPRO->Enterprise structure->Assignment->Human Resource Management->Assign PA to ur Co. code.
Assign ESG to EG
After configuring one has to integrate OM and PA to reflect these values while hiring.
SPRO->Personnel Management->Organisational management->Integration->Integration with Personnel Administration.

Adding a box in Portal for Performance appraisal template
Dear Experts,
We have already released a performance appraisal template and its in production use for a while now.
Now, client wants to add 1 box titled 'Managers comment'. Since its already released template I cant make changes in it and add a criteria in the form of 'Managers Comment'. What is the solution? Is there a way by which we can make this box appear in portal through coding? This change is required in a template which is in use. We cant create a new template.
I know there is a note to make changes to released appraisal template but as its risky I dont want to use it.
Please advise.you cant make changes to released template, if you do also, new changes wont be shown

As as the making of a custom appraisal form is concerned you can do it with the help of
phap_catalog (Creation of new appraisal template)
If you want to add a new column into it T Code is OOHAP_Basic
If you want to add a new rowin to it you have to right click---Insert--New Element

We have some legislative changes to be made and as a consequence we need to change the current EGs and ESGs to fit in with these new changes.
Can someone give me heads up on the tables I should review when looking to make these changes for example:
T501 Employee Group
T501T Employee Group Names
T502T Marital Status Designators
T503 Employee Groups / Subgroups
T503K Employee subgroup
T503T Employee Subgroup Names
T503Z Country Assignment for Employee Group/Subg
and any other things we need to be aware of holliday calendars etc?
Anything else I need to look at, previous experiences would be helpful

Check table: V_503_ALL
V_T512Z and V_511_B are the tables for assigment of Permissibility based on ESG and PSA
After creating new EG/ESG (grouping also).
Please note that when we update Employee Group/Subgroup of position in PP01, it is not effective to PF in master data which was maintained with that position & old Employee group/supgroup.
So you should check:
- Position
- PFs with old EG/ESG.

and to create the template use the tcode OOAM.

Performance Appraisal: Automatic updation in case of Manager's Transfer
Dear All,
In performance appraisal Manager(n) is Appraiser and Manager's Manager(n1) is included as further participant so that he can view appraisals of all employees who indirectly report to him. Now whenever this higher Manager (n1) is transferred new manager coming in can not view appraisals of his new department automatically. To enable this we update this further participant list manually of all old appraisal forms of his employees. Is there a way to do this automatically as such cases are quite a few and doing this manually is very time consuming.

should be replaced in the document as well by the new manager to get
access to the entire document.
I would suggets to replace the appraiser in the documnet e.g. by
transaction PHAP_ADMIN so that the new manager sees the entire
document.

solved using BAdI HRHAP00_ACC_HEADER. It'll enable you to change the
appraiser of the created appraisal documents when manager has been
changed. -
On the iPhone 5s, performing any edit on a black and white photo will render a strong purple tone. This occurs in any app under the current iOS. Sadly, every photo must then be re-edited to restore the original black and white. If others have experienced similar troubles, any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
Hi everyone, I'm the one from the example above posted by @frankensinatra and I can confirm having the same problem.
But I want to add something. The problem is not only related to black and white but to every picture, and it can be worse or not depending on the range of colors involved. Apparently, there is a shift between some RGB value that is going to remove some green producing a magenta look.
I've started contacting some developer about this problem and some of them is trying to understand what's going on.
In my case, the problem came up when I bought the new iPad mini Retina. I didn't have this problem with the previous iPad mini. Same OS for both devices.
The photo you see in the link above is a perfect example of what happens just going from one app to another and saving to the camera roll. In that case, the situation doesn't change if I send that picture from within the app by email, or to another app using the "open in..." feature. It keeps being purple. And the problem can be reproduced all the time.
Have some of you noticed the same? -

Add functionality for enter and close in a dialogue window

I have a dialogue screen.
On pressing enter or the enter icon I need some functionality.
And on clicking the close icon or close(on the dialogue window) i need to exit.
How to add functionality to close and enter?
(The icons are functioning properly but Enter and close are not functioning)

We had the same question sometime back. This is what we found
1. Users will not finish Performance Apprisal document in one session, they will complete partially and then comback another day to complete it.
2. IT25 is not like normal infotype, it might be challenging to update it with BAPI/RFCs.
These two issues stopped us from doing Adobe interactive forms (PCR like) for Performance apprisal.

PSA SE and PS Elements 5.0 Sharing the Same Catalog
Is it possible to set up PSA SE and PS Elements 5.0 to share the same catalog? I really like PSA SE for a nice viewer that add the cataloging aspects. The PS Elements Organizer is nice, but takes too long to load, is too big in memory, etc.
I have found the databases for both (for example, PSA SE is at C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop Album Starter Edition\3.0\Shared_Assets\database\odbc). Can I somehow point at least one application to the other's database?
This is on Win XP SP2, if it makes a diff.
Thanks for any help.Last question -- given that they DON'T use the same categories, and can't share any edits, etc. Then it seems to me that there's no reason to keep PSA SE on my drive. I could just go back to the base Microsoft viewer set for viewing when trawling, and obviously keep Adobe PS elements for doing work on the pics.
