Phone reception HORRIBLE, have to select from drop down menus 2x and INTERNET now freezes and is VERY SLOW SINCE NK1 UPDATE a week ago, no problems prior

I have had my Note 3 since about 14 months now and have loved it until the last Verizon update. Since the update my reception is very poor / "breaks up" in my shop. This is the same shop I have been working in for 6 YEARS!!! Also when I select a drop down tab like a credit card month and make my selection it NEVER saves the 1st time, always have to do it 2x. The internet used to work great in my shop and could stream Pandora without an issue, now it take 2 minutes to load the first song.
I feel these simple software issues could make people feel the need to upgrade their phone even though there is nothing wrong with their current phone, pretty creative sales tactic if you ask me. All I want is my phone to work like it did prior to the 1/16/2015 update. If I have change my ways and run my off wifi everywhere like I had to back when I had Sprint I might as well switch to a cheaper provider.
My time is money and wasting time trying to make a phone work like it did before a software update is very frustrating. I have already gone to a Verizon store and was told to do a complete reset. I spent 2 hours saving everything to my cloud, reset the phone and the same problems still exist. Please help me find a solution to my problems ASAP

It is possible that your security software (firewall, anti-virus) blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full, unrestricted, access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

Do a malware check with several malware scanning programs on the Windows computer. 
Please scan with all programs because each program detects different malware. 
All these programs have free versions.
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

Create a node with cardinality 0-n and selection property set to 0-n
Create a table UI element and bind this node as a datasource to this table.
Set the selection mode property of this table as auto or multi
Once this is done, populate the node with some data elements.
When you run the application, you will be able to select multiple rows from the table.
To get the selected rows, use below code on the action of some button

Restrict Date rule selection from drop down

Hi all,
I am using date type srv_cust_beg and srv_cust_end.
For date type srv_cust_beg i have assigned date rule Today+time.
For date type srv_cust_end i have not assigned any date rule as consultant should fill this manually.
My requirement is that consultant should enter the dates manually and they should not select the date rule from the drop down for srv_cust_end.
For the date type srv_cust_end, we can see todaytime date rule from drop down as this date rule is assigned to srv_cust_beg.
Is there any possiblity to restict the drop down selection?

The drop down is due to the Date Rule assigned to your Date Profile.
Since all those 3 date rules are assigned to your Date Profile, you are seeing all those 3 date rules in the drop down.

All drop down menus opens and hides emmideately on ubuntu 14 with touch screen display

On ubuntu 14 with ViewSonic TD2340 touch monitor ("Advanced Silicon S.A CoolTouch(TM) System" touch panel) all drop down menus in firefox (in other system applications drop down menus works fine) opens and hides emmideately (I can't select any element in it).
I can't use special system function "Click on Focus", because it is just like double click - drop down menus shows with delay, but it is not real to work in ubuntu - I always have 2 clicks instead 1.

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]] to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

Web UI - Value not getting selected from drop down list .

Hi All ,
I am facing a problem in one of the fields which is enhanced with a drop down functionality .
I have created the GET_V_** method and also the GET_P_** method for the same .And finally I am able to see the values in the drop down list . But the problem is , when I am trying to select a value from the drop down no values are selected .
Can anyone plese help me in this as What has to be done .
I have taken references from few guides but I am not getting any clear idea of what has to be done .

Hi Ranjita,
To trigger a round trip, you must have given the event name in GET_P method.
Same event handler would trigger.
Please put a break point in Event Handler in IMPL class, and in SET_attr method of the attribute in CN class and see if value is getting set properly or not. Final value that would be displayed on UI would be there in GET_attr method of CN class.

Firefox won't let me select options from drop down menus, on the previous version nor on the current 4.0 version that I just downloaded.

If I am on a site and trying to get information etc, and I have to choose from a drop down menu of any kind, Firefox won't let me choose anything. I can't answer the next question regarding This Happened because I can't select from your drop down.

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

you cannot set focus on a subform but on a field, as only interactive objects can be focussed.
From a dropdowns exit event the script will look this way:

Displaying user selection from drop down list in static text on master page

I am using LC 7.0 at workk and I have hit a road block.
I have a drop down list at the top of the form. Once the user makes a selection, I want to take that value and paste it in static text located on the master page. I can't seem to get it to work.

How to select from drop-down menu connected to SQL database and then autofill?

I am in the process of creating a series of forms and I need some help if working out how to do the following.
I have already set up a data connection to an SQL database, and I have three fields connected: Job Number, Job Name and Customer Name.
What I want to do is have it so that the Job Number is a dropdown box, so they can select the number, and then the other two fields, Job Name and Customer Name, are autofilled to the information corresponding to the Job Number.
Is anyone able to help me do this please??

Printer not selectable from drop down when printing any pdf file. Printer is available when printing any other file format.

Client is running Adobe Acrobat X. When trying to print their Ricoh printer can not be seen in the drop down menu. The Printer was added locally and the printer can print any other file format.

Your ps file should be good, the problem likely resides elswehere. Maybe in your acrobat install, distillers settings. what error did distiller give?
Mine ran good and got a multi page document, here is a screenshot to help you troubleshoot.
On mac go to system preferences / print and fax / and change your default printer if you have another option. I know sounds like this should not help, but there are problems like Illustrator for example not making .pdfs if you do not have a printer chosen or an old or corrupt .ppd assigned.

Adding a "blank" selection for drop-down menus under list items.

A lot of people on this form are accidentally selecting items that shouldn't be selected and need to be able to change the drop down menu back to blank if they have made a mistake and selected a wrong drop down item in the wrong area.

Add an item to your Dropdown list with Blank as text and some value to it.
When you want to rest to blank, just simply set the rawValue to the value against the blank text.
For example if I add a blank text and assign a value "1" to it.
Then in the code I may use like below to rest it to Blank Text.

Hi, I'm revising the spreadsheet we use for monthly sales reports, and have two questions about how I can make Numbers recognize what item is selected in a pop-up menu, and then how I can get it to do certain things.
1. I have a pop-up menu with all of the items for sale in our store. The next column is the price of each item. After I select an item in the pop-up menu, I want the price to magically appear in the price column. Is there a formula I can use to have Numbers read the pop-up menu and enter a certain value automatically?
2. I also have a separate table with total sales by employee. In the table above, each line has a pop-up menu with a list of all the employees here at the store. In this second table, I have a row for each employee, with one cell for their name and another for total sales. In the sales cell, I want a total of all the values in the price column, but only the rows with that individual selected in the pop-up menu. How do I formulate this? Thanks!

From your screen shot, I'm assuming

-- The sales person's name for each sale is listed in column A, starting in A2,

-- the price of that item is to be retrieved from a separate table (Table 3), and inserted in column F
-- the formula =E*F is used in column G to calculate the total price for the sale of that item.
In Table 2
-- Brad's name is in A2 and his total is to be reported in B2.
-- Tony's name is in A3 and his total is to be reported in B3.
-- Other names will be added below Tony, and their totals reported in the same row, in column B.
Table 3 will be a lookup table containing the item names and the price for one of that item, listed in columns A and B respectively.

The functions used are defined and discussed in the iWork Formulas and Functions User Guide, available through the Help menu in Numbers '09.
IF(LEN(x)>0...is used to allow the calculation only if there is an entry in the cell referenced by 'x'.
IFERROR traps the 'not found' error that may occur and presents either the appropriate message or a null string.

That's a little more than a shadow! Regardless, let's try to reload your display driver. Given what's happening, go into 'Control Panel - Programs and Features' and uninstall any ATI software you see there. Then, go into Device Manager by clicking on 'Start' and then typing in devmgmt.msc and click on that file. Next, click on the arrow beside 'Display adapters', then right click on the 'ATI Radeon HD 3200 Graphics', and click on 'Uninstall', then click 'OK' to confirm uninstall.
Then download the appropriate driver to your desktop and double click on it to install. If you are still running Vista install the Vista driver, if you are now running Windows 7, install the Win7 driver.

Streaming Movies and TV Shows from iTunes is very, very slow since recent update

I have an Apple TV 2nd generation and since I updated it to the latest firmware available, that came out last week with the announcement of a new Apple TV, streaming content from iTunes servers, Movies and TV Shows, has become a nightmare. I don't think it is due to the firmaware update as I think it is due to the lack of capacity of the servers. As recent as last week everything worked fine. I would just press play and the TV Show would start almost immediatly and the streaming was fast enough that all the TV Show, past the point I was watching, was downloaded, without any delay or having to stop to rebuffer. The first time I noticed it was on monday this week and since then I have been testing streaming directly from iTunes every now and then and it never came back to work the way it did. I know the problem isn't my network. I have a 20 Mbits connection and download content at 2 Mbytes/sec on avarage.
And I don't know if it has something to do with the fact that Apple has made available content in 1080p, and that maybe it is stressing its servers even more. What I do know is that the way it is working right now undermine the entire concept of what Apple TV should be like. It has to work just the way it did when Eddy Cue gave a demonstration of the new Apple TV on Wednesday, the content played authenticated immediatly and started playing, without long time buffering. "People are going to love streaming movies and TV shows in 1080p with the new Apple TV", said Philip Schiller. But I can't even stream 720p content.

I am also experiencing intermittent streaming from the cloud with 1080p content. My internet package is pretty decent with 25MB and when I download a show on iTunes, it shows a download speed of 22MB so all is well with my connection to apple. The only way I can stream content without any interruptions is to change the settings on the AppleTV3 to 720p.
I called my ISP and applied for a 50MB package and see it it helps.
