Photoshop 7.0 opens in too large to be seen
I loaded 7.0 on a PC with XP. When it loads, only half the Photoshop window is visible and there is no scroll bar to allow access to the portion that is cut off. I've tried all of the options available under "properties" on the photoshop thumbnail but none have resulted in the photoshop window opening up to the size of my monitor.
All other programs load appropriately.
Where do I change settings to address this.
Is your monitor set to the minimum requirements (1024x768 monitor resolution
at 96dpi or less)?

Final Cut Server Error Result Too Large
In Final Cut Server when trying to check out a project or add files to a project i get the following error ::
Error: could not read block 5469422 of relation 1663/16385/16653: Result too large
I have seen similar post's but no resolution.

Present on all 12 client machinesDoes this occur only on specific projects or all projects? If it only happens on a specific project it's likely a invalid asset in which deleting and re-cataloging it would be the simplest solution. If this happens with any asset you try to check out, then there may be a larger database issue and you may consider restoring from a backup.

Yesterday I have updated my mac with Yosemite since I try to work on PHOTOSHOP ELEMENTS 12 but I cannot go further than opening documents and changing size. Screen is also too large but with Yosemite no mean to adapt it with the screen menu...
How can I recover the photoshop tools?Unfortunately there is no option in PSE to vhange the UI fonts (other than switching to System Font' in preferences. So traditionally changing the Windows display font size has been the only workaround, and even that can cause problems with individual menus disappearing and being replaced with a hard to spot >> drop-down menu.
If you have a dual-display system you could have the menus on the lower resolution screen with images on the hi-res.

Photoshop crash when opening larger files
Hi there,
A recently upgraded iMac now running Creative Cloud on Mountain Lion is having an issue where Photoshop crashes upon opening a large file, the log files show it as Photoshop is hanging when infact it has crashed. I have pasted one of the log files below.
As a note generally restarting the Mac after this has occured will allow the user to open the file.
Any assistance with this issue is much appreciated.

I recently updated to iTunes 11 on my Windows PC. Since the update, each time I open iTunes its window is too large for my screen. Resizing it is a pain, because I have to change my screen resolution. And then when I restart iTunes, it has reverted back to being too large. Please help!
Having the same issue here....a quick fix is to just minimize the window, and immediately maximize it. It will now fit the screen. Trouble is, after you close it, you'll have to do it again when you re-start itunes. The good news is it takes all of about 2 seconds. Apple should fix this. Should.

How do I open a project in CS6 when it's apparently become too large (1.68 GB) to load?
I have a project that was recently sent back to me by someone who was working on the audio. When it was sent to me it was around 217 MB. After working on the project for a few more days before sending it out for color correction and additional audio work, I'm all of a sudden unable to load the project. My guess is that it has become too large to open, because now it is 1.68 GB. I don't know how that happened. I haven't applied any additional effects or brought in more media. All I've done is make trims to the picture and merged 3 sequences. I'm trying to figure out how I can open the project and, if I do need to make it smaller in order to continue working on it, is there a way to do so without losing the work that I've recently done? I'm trying to "import select sequences" from that project into a new project but it won't load. The loading bar is stopping about a quarter of the way through, same as it did when I recently tried to load the project normally. The loading bar has been sitting there at a quarter full for about 20 minutes now. A friend of mine tried to load the project (I sent him a zip file through Dropbox.) onto his computer yesterday and couldn't get it to open either.

Dual monitors: window size too large when opens in smaller monitor.
I use Windows 7 with two monitors. When I open Firefox directly from my desktop, it opens on the larger monitor, and the window size is just fine. But if I click a link from an email, Firefox opens in the second, smaller monitor, and the window is too large for that screen.
Please help me figure out how to either (a) make Firefox open with a smaller window; or (b) make Firefox open on the primary, larger monitor.oh, forgot to say Mavericks 10.9.5 running on the mac pro..

the maximum request size is 10000 characters. To translate larger documents you'll need to break them into smaller chunks. When using the HTML mode, make sure you send a complete element, for instance the whole <p> element up to and including the </p>.
Also make sure not to break requests in the middle of a sentence. Translator needs whole sentences to translate. You can use the BreakSentences method to find sentence boundaries. Breaksentences is also subject to the 10000 character request size limit.

I placed my aperture library on a 1 TB external drive (the file is 300 GB) and Aperture churns and churns but will not open the file. I don't know if the file is too large or if it is the external drive or what? any ideas? Smaller files will open. This is very annoying.
If this is an external USB drive, you must understand that USB is really, really slow. There may be nothing wrong except for that.
In my opinion, USB external drives are only acceptable for backups, and to get "near Hard Drive" performance, you need FireWire. -
"The document can't be opened because it's too large."
I just copied a Numbers '09 file I just made at work (and can still open there) to my MBP and when I try to open it, I get a "The document can’t be opened because it’s too large." error. It's only 1.4MB. I tried reinstalling iWork and re-saving and copying the file to no avail. Has anyone seen this or have any ideas?
I am having a similar problem. I am evaluating Numbers 09 for the first time and would like to get rid of Excel, which seems incredibly slow to open. I'm ready for a change and I like the look and feel of Numbers.
I am working with an export file of data from FileMaker Pro - 3900 rows by 336 colums, so over 1.3 million potentially filled cells. My MacBook Pro has 2 gb of RAM and currently shows 185 free, 495 inactive, 557 wired, and 804 active.
When I try to open the txt file (8.3 mb), I get the error message referred to above. When I open it in Excel, it immediately opens. I can then save it as an Excel file. When I try to open this Excel file in Numbers, it will open but I get a message stating that only 255 or fewer columns are supported.
Could this possibly be right? Granted, who in their right mind would create a data table with that many columns, but when working with legacy data (which is why I have a job) this is often the case and it's my job to clean it up.
Any assistance in both of my errors would be appreciated . . . even if the advice is to stick with Excel -
Prints from Photoshop too Large
I've made myself crazy trying to print from Photoshop and am hoping someone can help me figure out what I'm doing wrong.
I'm using Photoshop CC2014 on a Macbook Pro running OSX 10.9.5. I've tried printing to two different printers: a HP OfficeJet 7610 an Epson WF-7510.
And...no matter what I do, my images print too large. For example, I created a plain 3" square in Photoshop and printed it at 100% on both printers and EVERY time it prints at about 3 1/8"
I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling drivers and nothing seems to work. I've tried saving my images as a JPEG or PDF and still end up with too large prints. Because I'm trying to print these to pre-cut labels I need them to be perfect and nothing is working.
Any ideas or tips would be appreciated!! Thanks!I do have a borderless option on both printers and I always choose to print borderless because the image I'm trying to print needs to be really close to the edge of the page - like .156" off the left side. Are you saying choosing the borderless option is what's causing the issue?

Elements 12 screen opens too large to grab lower right hand corner to reduce! How do I fix this?
Are you on a Mac? Change the screen display resolution (you may need to do this several times) switching back to normal resolution between each change. Eventually the display problem should resolve itself and the PSE window fit within your normal screen display size.

this window is too large for my browser. i cannot see the bottom of the window!'''Size..Optimize..Restore''', are the only choices. I started FF in safe mode and was able to make the changes I needed. Move " doesn't help at all.
Being able to make the changes in safe mode leads me to believe one the the plug ins from the FF site is creating the issue...It's just way to large to move it so the bottom can be seen....Thanks for your attempt and time. :)
Oh..another thing. At times the top tabs are visible, and at other times, the bottom is visible.
