PHP response not recieved back by Flash

I have this really weird problem. I'm making several calls to different php files (located on another server with crossdomain.xml changed so that it is allowed) and need to receive some response back in flash and work with the data received.
The first call is done by the following code:
ActionScript Code:
var urlRequest:URLRequest = new URLRequest("http://otherserver.com/assign.php");
var loader2:URLLoader = new URLLoader();
function selectHandler(event:Event):void
    urlRequest.method = URLRequestMethod.GET;
    urlRequest.data = "";
    loader2.addEventListener(Event.COMPLETE, serverResponse);
    loader2.load(urlRequest);
function serverResponse(e:Event):void {
    serverNum =  e.target.data.toString();      // gets server numbers
    registerAndUpload();
This call works fine. I receive back the event data and can store it in serverNum.
After this when the user presses another button I call the following code:
ActionScript Code:
var requestModify:URLRequest;
function completeHandler(evt:Event) {
                            // get link to modified image
    returnString = evt.target.data.toString();
    newURL = "http://api"+serverNum+".otherserver.com/api/img/"+returnString+".jpg";
                            //put new img into right frame
    imgAfter.source = newURL;
btnModify.addEventListener(MouseEvent.MOUSE_DOWN, mouseDownModify);
function mouseDownModify(event:MouseEvent):void{
    requestModify = new URLRequest("http://api"+serverNum+".otherserver.com/api/modify.php?");
    var Modify:URLVariables = new URLVariables();
    Modify.id = tempArray[0];
    Modify.coords = tempArray[1]+","+tempArray[2]+","+tempArray[3]+","+tempArray[4];
    Modify.nose = txtNose.text;
    Modify.forehead = txtForehead.text;
    Modify.weight = txtWeight.text;
    Modify.tan = txtTan.text;
    Modify.eyedef = txtEyedef.text;
    Modify.key = "test-05a671c66aefea124cc08b76ea6d30bb";
    //ADD ABOVE AS DATA TO URLREQUEST
    requestModify.data = Modify;
    requestModify.method = URLRequestMethod.GET;
    loaderRequest.dataFormat = URLLoaderDataFormat.VARIABLES;
    loaderRequest.addEventListener(Event.COMPLETE, completeHandler);
    loaderRequest.load(requestModify);
After the button is pressed and the php call is made, the completeHandler function is never called. But when I test it in Firefox (I have Firebug installed), it shows me that the call is made i.e:
http://api0.otherserver.com/api/modify.php?........
yet the completeHandler function is never executed. Any thoughts?

Where is loaderRequest set up?
In any case, take the URL that Firebug showed and open that in a new browser window. Does it succeed?

  • Response not coming back to ESB when calling BPEL process

    Hi,
    I am doing some demo,
    the actual process is, in ESB, I am reading a file and passing thsoe fiel contents to BPEL as SOAP service. In BPEL proecess, I processed the message and sending the response back to the ESB. When I deployed and check the process flow in the BPEL console, everything looks fine, I mena, it sending the response back to the ESB, where as in ESB process, I am not able to see the response.
    Is there any thing that I am missing?
    Thanks.

    Is the BPEL process a synchronous process?
    Also for performance reasons it it best to call BPEL process via the direct jca connector not SOAP.
    You do this by just selecting the BPEL process in the routing service going through the wizard. There is no need to creat a SOAP service. The good this about this is that in the ESB process it provides a link to the BPEL process.
    cheers

  • CRM Survey Responses not coming back into the CRM system - WHY????

    Hey guys,
    I am trying to implement the campaign automation. My problem now is, that I am not getting the survey responses back into the CRM System so the next campaign element cannot start.
    We do not use a BW; and in terms of the .xml for the URL generation I used bsp and not for example mailto. When I tested the URL it worked fine. I as well checked the workflows, they also seem fine. When I created the mailform and inserted the hyperlink I choosed the option no tracking as I said before, we do not use a BW.
    Can you tell me if I missed any configuration steps? I also started the internal CatServer, as mentionend in many notes.
    I highly appreciate your help.
    Best regards,
    Janine

    Hi,
    we are using campaign automation with Surveys and we are able to see responses. Maybe try these steps:
    - generate a survey like in Create, run and analyze an E-Mail Campaign with a Survey (Part 1)
    - generate the url for your survey and insert it inside a mail form,activating the option "tracking via target site" (since you need to track responses and your survey is on the CRM domain)
    -create a simple campaign that sends a mail using your mail form and pass some BP in the target group, then make them answer the survey: under "contact statistics" you should see the number of outbound mails and the number of inbound contacts with the number of BPs that answered to your survey
    Once you are sure that this scenario is working, you can set conditions in campaign automation on the type of response received in the survey, etc... (like in http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/20283126-36ca-2d10-6983-92ed18d36644?QuickLink=index&overridelayout=true )
    Hope this helps,
    regards,

  • $400*3 =$1200 security deposit still not recieved back to me

    I paid $1200 of security deposit when I open the account and add the line about two years ago.
    However, I could not received any of them until now.
    About a month ago, I requested to send the check again but it still does not arrived.
    I NEED those money back ASAP.
    I called finance department for several times but could not locate my check is.
    What should I do?

    Supposedly after 12 months of on time payments and that means not missing any payment due date or being late, it is mailed out to your home address.
    If you were late even once, that clock starts all over again.
    If they do not send the money you must contact your states Attorney Generals Office and file a charge against Verizon.
    Good Luck

  • How to update the PHP Class Service back in Flash Builder 4

    I'm not sure if my post title makes any sense or not but let me explain.  I've been working on an application in Flash Builder 4 using the ZendFramework and PHP services and everything is work great. the problem I have is after I make changes to my services PHP class (edit php file that has my functions in it), how to I updated those functions in the Flash builder application?
    For example, I needed to pass a second object into one of my function in my PHP class and after I edited the file and saved it, I don't see the changes in the Flash builder 4 application. Is there a button I can run to update the PHP class back in Flash Builder?
    Thanks,
    John Baranowski

    How do you use Flash Builder to regenerate the code for the same PHP service I connected to prior? When I first connected to the PHP service Flash Builder automatically built a package with all kinds of actionscript functions in it. I added a function to my PHP Class file server side and I need help on how to update the package back in Flex to see my new function. Can anyone help me??

    Hello QuinnDev,
    Thank you for posting in the Apple Support Communities.  It sounds like you are trying to use your MacBook Pro with a Thunderbolt Display in closed clamshell mode (MacBook Pro closed), but sometimes the display doesn't stay on.  I found an article that talks about closed clamshell mode.  You would have to fulfill the following requirements to use your display this way:
    Requirements for closed display mode:
    Power adapter
    External keyboard, mouse, or trackpad
    External display
    You can find all the steps and the full article here:
    Mac notebooks: How to use your computer in closed clamshell (display closed) mode with an external display

    I hope this helps!

    Hi, I found a post from another person regarding the TFTP recovery on an 1131AG. I would try that and also make sure you have the CISCO-LWAPP-CONTROLLER static DNS entry set to the management (login) ip address of your WLC...
    "Posted by: jaichauh - Network Engineer, CISCO SYSTEMS - Oct 1, 2008, 1:06pm PST
    Yes,
    You need to downlaod an IOS autonomous image and then upgrade it by using the following steps:
    Step 1 The static IP address of the PC on which your TFTP server software runs should be between 10.0.0.2 and 10.0.0.30, as AP gets an IP of 10.0.0.1 after reset by default.
    Step 2 Make sure that the PC contains the access point image file (such as c1130-k9w7-tar.124-3g.JA1.tar for an 1130 series access point) in the TFTP server folder (Root folder) and that the TFTP server is activated.
    Step 3 Rename the access point image file in the TFTP server folder to c1130-k9w7-tar.default.
    Step 5 Connect the PC to the access point using a Category 5 (CAT5) Ethernet cable.
    Step 6 Disconnect power from the access point.
    Step 7 Press and hold MODE while you reconnect power to the access point.
    Step 8 Hold the MODE button until the status LED turns red (approximately 20 to 30 seconds) and then release.
    Step 9 Wait until the access point reboots, as indicated by all LEDs turning green followed by the Status LED blinking green.
    Step 10 After the access point reboots, reconfigure it using the GUI or the CLI.

    below:
    <?php
    include ('http://your.website.here/filenamehere.php');
    ?>
    php.ini is posted below:
    [PHP]
    ; About php.ini ;
    ; This file controls many aspects of PHP's behavior. In order for PHP to
    ; read it, it must be named 'php.ini'. PHP looks for it in the current
    ; working directory, in the path designated by the environment variable
    ; PHPRC, and in the path that was defined in compile time (in that order).
    ; Under Windows, the compile-time path is the Windows directory. The
    ; path in which the php.ini file is looked for can be overridden using
    ; the -c argument in command line mode.
    ; The syntax of the file is extremely simple. Whitespace and Lines
    ; beginning with a semicolon are silently ignored (as you probably
    guessed).
    ; Section headers (e.g. [Foo]) are also silently ignored, even though
    ; they might mean something in the future.
    ; Directives are specified using the following syntax:
    ; directive = value
    ; Directive names are *case sensitive* - foo=bar is different from FOO=bar.
    ; The value can be a string, a number, a PHP constant (e.g. E_ALL or
    M_PI), one
    ; of the INI constants (On, Off, True, False, Yes, No and None) or an
    expression
    ; (e.g. E_ALL & ~E_NOTICE), or a quoted string ("foo").
    ; Expressions in the INI file are limited to bitwise operators and
    parentheses:
    ; | bitwise OR
    ; & bitwise AND
    ; ~ bitwise NOT
    ; ! boolean NOT
    ; Boolean flags can be turned on using the values 1, On, True or Yes.
    ; They can be turned off using the values 0, Off, False or No.
    ; An empty string can be denoted by simply not writing anything after the
    equal
    ; sign, or by using the None keyword:
    ; foo = ; sets foo to an empty string
    ; foo = none ; sets foo to an empty string
    ; foo = "none" ; sets foo to the string 'none'
    ; If you use constants in your value, and these constants belong to a
    ; dynamically loaded extension (either a PHP extension or a Zend
    extension),
    ; you may only use these constants *after* the line that loads the
    extension.
    ; About this file ;
    ; This is the recommended, PHP 5-style version of the php.ini-dist file.
    It
    ; sets some non standard settings, that make PHP more efficient, more
    secure,
    ; and encourage cleaner coding.
    ; The price is that with these settings, PHP may be incompatible with some
    ; applications, and sometimes, more difficult to develop with. Using this
    ; file is warmly recommended for production sites. As all of the changes
    from
    ; the standard settings are thoroughly documented, you can go over each
    one,
    ; and decide whether you want to use it or not.
    ; For general information about the php.ini file, please consult the
    php.ini-dist
    ; file, included in your PHP distribution.
    ; This file is different from the php.ini-dist file in the fact that it
    features
    ; different values for several directives, in order to improve
    performance, while
    ; possibly breaking compatibility with the standard out-of-the-box
    behavior of
    ; PHP. Please make sure you read what's different, and modify your scripts
    ; accordingly, if you decide to use this file instead.
    ; - register_globals = Off [Security, Performance]
    ; Global variables are no longer registered for input data (POST, GET,
    cookies,
    ; environment and other server variables). Instead of using $foo, you
    must use
    ; you can use $_REQUEST["foo"] (includes any variable that arrives
    through the
    ; request, namely, POST, GET and cookie variables), or use one of the
    specific
    ; $_GET["foo"], $_POST["foo"], $_COOKIE["foo"] or $_FILES["foo"],
    depending
    ; on where the input originates. Also, you can look at the
    ; import_request_variables() function.
    ; Note that register_globals is going to be depracated (i.e., turned
    off by
    ; default) in the next version of PHP, because it often leads to
    security bugs.
    ; Read http://php.net/manual/en/security.registerglobals.php for
    further
    ; information.
    ; - register_long_arrays = Off [Performance]
    ; Disables registration of the older (and deprecated) long predefined
    array
    ; variables ($HTTP_*_VARS). Instead, use the superglobals that were
    ; introduced in PHP 4.1.0
    ; - display_errors = Off [Security]
    ; With this directive set to off, errors that occur during the
    execution of
    ; scripts will no longer be displayed as a part of the script output,
    and thus,
    ; will no longer be exposed to remote users. With some errors, the
    error message
    ; content may expose information about your script, web server, or
    database
    ; server that may be exploitable for hacking. Production sites should
    have this
    ; directive set to off.
    ; - log_errors = On [Security]
    ; This directive complements the above one. Any errors that occur
    during the
    ; execution of your script will be logged (typically, to your server's
    error log,
    ; but can be configured in several ways). Along with setting
    display_errors to off,
    ; this setup gives you the ability to fully understand what may have
    gone wrong,
    ; without exposing any sensitive information to remote users.
    ; - output_buffering = 4096 [Performance]
    ; Set a 4KB output buffer. Enabling output buffering typically
    results in less
    ; writes, and sometimes less packets sent on the wire, which can often
    lead to
    ; better performance. The gain this directive actually yields greatly
    depends
    ; on which Web server you're working with, and what kind of scripts
    you're using.
    ; - register_argc_argv = Off [Performance]
    ; Disables registration of the somewhat redundant $argv and $argc
    global
    ; variables.
    ; - magic_quotes_gpc = off [Performance]
    ; Input data is no longer escaped with slashes so that it can be sent
    into
    ; SQL databases without further manipulation. Instead, you should use
    the
    ; function addslashes() on each input element you wish to send to a
    database.
    ; - variables_order = "GPCS" [Performance]
    ; The environment variables are not hashed into the $_ENV. To access
    ; environment variables, you can use getenv() instead.
    ; - error_reporting = E_ALL [Code Cleanliness, Security(?)]
    ; By default, PHP surpresses errors of type E_NOTICE. These error
    messages
    ; are emitted for non-critical errors, but that could be a symptom of
    a bigger
    ; problem. Most notably, this will cause error messages about the use
    ; of uninitialized variables to be displayed.
    ; - allow_call_time_pass_reference = Off [Code cleanliness]
    ; It's not possible to decide to force a variable to be passed by
    reference
    ; when calling a function. The PHP 4 style to do this is by making the
    ; function require the relevant argument by reference.

    ; Output buffering allows you to send header lines (including cookies) even
    ; after you send body content, at the price of slowing PHP's output layer a
    ; bit. You can enable output buffering during runtime by calling the
    output
    ; buffering functions. You can also enable output buffering for all files
    by
    ; setting this directive to On. If you wish to limit the size of the
    buffer
    ; to a certain size - you can use a maximum number of bytes instead of
    'On', as
    ; a value for this directive (e.g., output_buffering=4096).
    output_buffering = 4096
    ; You can redirect all of the output of your scripts to a function. For
    ; example, if you set output_handler to "mb_output_handler", character
    ; encoding will be transparently converted to the specified encoding.
    ; Setting any output handler automatically turns on output buffering.
    ; Note: People who wrote portable scripts should not depend on this ini
    ; directive. Instead, explicitly set the output handler using
    ob_start().
    ; Using this ini directive may cause problems unless you know what
    script
    ; is doing.
    ; Note: You cannot use both "mb_output_handler" with "ob_iconv_handler"
    ; and you cannot use both "ob_gzhandler" and
    "zlib.output_compression".
    ; Note: output_handler must be empty if this is set 'On' !!!!
    ; Instead you must use zlib.output_handler.
    ;output_handler =

    ; Valid values for this option are 'off', 'on', or a specific buffer size
    ; to be used for compression (default is 4KB)

    ; outputs chunks that are few hundreds bytes each as a result of
    ; compression. If you prefer a larger chunk size for better
    ; performance, enable output_buffering in addition.
    ; Note: You need to use zlib.output_handler instead of the standard
    ; output_handler, or otherwise the output will be corrupted.
    zlib.output_compression = Off
