Playbook can't turn on,no light

Hello,everyone！ help me，please! at first My playbook stuck on the logo picture “blackberry playbook”, then I passed DM upgrade, but the upgrade failure, playbook completely no electricity. I by connecting the charger, every 5 minutes to discontact and then contact to charger, make it back to light, still stuck on the logo picture“blackberry playbook”. But at that time I shut down later, my playbook charges with charger  directly or every 5 minutes off a method, but can not make the playbook light. Seek help. Thank you！

I think you might have to provide a little more information so people can help you on this problem. For example:
1. What are you using to charge your PB? Are you using the original BLACKBERRY charger that came in the box, used with the MICRO-USB port  --- or are you using a RAPID CHARGER where the BBPB sits on it and uses the 3-pin charging port?
2. How long did you charge it for? 
3. Did you let the charge continue for a few hours or did you interrupt it by turning on the PlayBook?
4. Is this the original boot-up or have you been using your BBPB for some time?
5. Are you aware of the fact that the BBPB takes a long time (quite a few minutes but no more than 5 minutes) to boot up into the HOMESCREEN? While it is booting up, the words "BlackBerry PlayBook" will stay on the screen for quite some time, a few minutes at least. While these words are on the screen, the background changes colour, telling you that it is still booting up (still working away). This doesn't mean it is "stuck".
Give it a good charge with the ORIGINAL CHARGER THAT CAME IN THE BOX --- charge for 12 hours before doing anything more, for now. Do not use the MICRO-USB cable to your computer to charge it (it is not powerful enough to give the PlayBook a proper charge). Then try the power button --- only after charging for 12 hours.

    Yes in fact, the difference is color, design, but also location and brightness of the LED.

    I was today at a local electronics store, and saw that Toshiba has the brightest Power LED on A660, but why it must be placed under the LCD and not in the front as in my old notebook Toshiba A210.
    I also had the idea with a tape, but it would look ugly, and it must be removable without residue.
    P.S. Also the fingerprints on the glossy keyboard do not look nice.

    The whole story is strange to me. You got new notebook with original preinstalled operating system.
    This original preinstalled operating system is Toshiba recovery image designed for certain notebook model. Recovery images are tested and everything should work properly.
    So Im asking myself how you can have this FN functionality on brand new notebook with clean preinstalled OS? You cannot tell me that this problem persist from day one.
    I recommend you to install HDD recovery image again and everything will work properly again.
    How to do this is described in users manuals document. There you can also find instructions how to enable/disable keyboard illumination.
    I have European Satellite P500 and it works perfect. All settings for keyboard illumination I can find in Toshiba HWSetup tool.

    What I meant is that when I am using the webecam, only one light adjacent to the webcam is on. The light on the other side of the webcam is never on. Is there a way to do it?

  • HP1300 laserJet printer - can't turn on machine off; large green light stays on

    Old printer, bought used, has given great service.
    Printed great til this evening.
    Small green and orange lights stay on; also larger green light "frozen" on (it is the on and off/restart button). Can't turn the printer off using the button.. It will not print at all.
    Checked everything, went through problem solving procedure on "Help" menu. Unplugged, also restarted computer, changed USB ports. Still won't print.
    Any help is greatly appreciated!

    Thanks : It worked.. I find it strange though as my playbook was charged to more than half way when I left it. And I only left it for an hour or so.  Maybe my memory is wrong though that does happen with me.43 maggie

    Hi I've installed bootcamp 2.1 on my macbook pro 13 (june 2009 model) and the operation went smoothly.
    After I install bootcamp drivers everything work like a dream eject button, screen brightness control apart from the keyboard light which I can't turn if off, the light set to the lowest and everything I boot into windows the light goes back to the maximum
    Anyone know how to control/disable the keyboard light

    I found a quick fix solution.
    if I kill the process kbdmgr.exe then the keyboard light will go off and leave the display brightness the same as your setting which is fine for me.
    but the volumn controls and eject button will not work I will have to do it from the windows interface rather than the keyboard

    Take it back to the Apple Store for repair since it's still in warranty.

    You have two options and you probably won't like any of them.
    Using the Airport Utility, click on the AE then "Base Station", then "Options". That will bring up two options for you AE green light, either keep it green at all times or only light up when it is being used.
    The second option is put some tape over it.

    If a reset does not work, then the next steps in user troubleshooting are restore from a backup and if that doesn't work, then restore as a new device. If that doesn't work, then you can make an appointment to take the device to the Apple store and have the hardware checked.
    If you live close to an Apple store, you could go there first, but they will probably ask if you have done a restore and would do one there, so make sure you have backed up and synced all of your data.

    Has anyone had this problem?  I have a Deskjet 6127, all the lights are blinking.  I can't turn it off.  If I unplug it and plug it back in,  (which is what it says to do on the troubleshooting site) the lights continue to blink.  The ink cartridges won't slide out.  Any suggestions on saving this printer from impending doom?

    Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears
