PLD Excise Variables

Dear Experts
We are newly upgraded 2007. In 2005 Purchase Order PLD we used to get excise amount by variable Number 350. In 2007 I suppose to give Variable No 350 the value not come. Is there any other variable Number?
regards

Dear Raja,
There is a list of supported variables on the Service Market Place.
Please have a look on that. Hope that will help.

  • PLD excise Info

I have defined Excise & Other information in Company Details. Now i want to assign those values in PLD - Purchase Order.
From which table can i get the information in PLD

In PLD u need to create a DB field in any area where you want show the Excise details. Now Hold ur 'Alt' button of ur keyboard, then click for table name under content tab of properties field window. now choose the 'Administration Extension - ADM1' table and go 4 ur required field's display.
Details relating to excise entered in admin module will be constent and will not change. So the easiast way is put one text field in the PLD of any document and just enter the companies excise related information such as Exc.Regn.No,Div,Range etc...
No need to go to database option.

the system report comes without the BP reference No. , we can active that field through form setting.

    Hi,
Not all variables can be used in PLD. Variable in View --> System information for the field is not need to be the same as used in PLD.
To know the list of variables available for PLD, you may check this link

  • Different Format in Title Accounts in Balance Sheet PLD

I am trying to change the default Balance Sheet PLD of the Financial Reports. I want to applied a differente font (or just the same font but bold). The Balance Sheet PLD just uses variables and i dont know how to relate to the OACT table to know if a title or active account to use in a condition

    Hi Hector Santos,
It is not possible in default Balance Sheet PLD of the Financial Reports.
because Default Balance Sheet PLD used variables.
IF you want any other solution for this,
    Try the below steps,
->> Open the Balance Sheet(System) PLD and Save as New PLD.
->> OPen the New Balance Sheet PLD.

  • Dunning Letter as Crystal Report: What tables? (SAP B1 9.0)

    Dear Experts,
I am being asked to revise the Dunning Letters for our clients.  The existing PLDs for each Dunning Letter shows most data fields as system variables.  The existing Crystal Report for Dunning Letter 1 is a conversion from the PLD and doesn't show table information for most of the report's main items.  There are tables in the report but they are standard ones (OADM, OADP, OCRD, OHEM, OSLP).  It also includes a "table" called "PLD__ITEMS" which has all the PLD system variables and no B1 table or field/column information.
As I'm just now starting to work with dunning letters, I see that I can't even run this report in Crystal.  The PLD__Items datasource prompts me for a file path and class name.  Any ideas what one enters here to run the report outside of B1 (from the Crystal report designer)?
The main focus of my question is: Has anyone created a Crystal Report to replicate the Dunning Letter and if so, what tables are involved and how are they connected?  If I can create a Dunning Letter entirely in Crystal, I can replicate it across all clients and get the correct fields/columns of data the clients want.  The inclusion of the PLD__Items apparently limits my ability to test the results.  I would prefer to avoid the PLD limitations.
    Thanks for any assistance.

Thank you Nagarajan.  I have a dunning letter created in Crystal Reports for our client.  It is fairly limited in scope, it just has the customer name and address, invoice numbers and dates, amounts due and the text they wanted in it.
I can import it into B1 9.0 and set it as the default for Dunning Letter #1 and it runs, but unlike other formats where there is a DocEntry and/or ObjectID and a ?DocKey@ or ?ObjectId@ parameter, how do I limit the report to just one customer?  Typical document layouts run for the document that's on the screen.  In the dunning process, the report runs once for every customer when the Dunning Letter Method is set to "One Letter per BP".  I have to limit the report to one customer at a time.  Right now, each dunning letter based on the Crystal report is identical and it contains all the data for every customer.
So, does anyone have any ideas for what selection criteria needs to be included in the Crystal report to have it select just one customer from the dunning wizard tables?  Thanks.
    Michael
Edit: I created a ?WizardID@ parameter and a ?CardCode@ parameter to limit the report to a single dunning wizard event and a single customer.  While it works fine in Crystal itself, it doesn't work in B1 at all.  I had thought that by limiting the report in this way, it would only create dunning letters for a single customer.

  • Contra Receipt and Transaction

    Hello Experts,
I am trying to do a manual contra transaction in SAP Business One. Meaning, I am using BP Reconciliation to contra and A/R with an A/P invoice.
I want to create a PLD for printing out a Contra Receipt, which is under the Manage Previous Internal Reconciliations Screen.
I select the Recon. Transaction and click to print a receipt. Now, I have having problems extracting the information I need. I would also like to concatenate all Invoices involved in the transaction so that I can put it as "Invoice 1, Invoice 2, Invoice 3, etc." rather than having it in the repetitive area. Click on Print in the said screen to have a look at the system default print out to understand what I am talking about.
Is there a system variable like for Incoming Payments where it has a PLD System Variable for listing all the Invoices being paid for, separated by commas?
Also, if there is anyone who has done Contra transactions in B1 and has a better way of doing it, I would appreciate if you could kindly share it with me. I need to implement this for my client. Thank you all in advance.
    Regards,
    Alvin

    Hi Gordon,
Thanks for your reply. I will rephrase my sentences to make it clearer. Basically, in reality, my client uses a contra to swap services with a vendor who also receives services from my client.
Because of that, they issue a contra receipt, stating which A/R invoice to contra with the vendors invoice. I now have to create the contra receipt, preferably in PLD which contains the following information:
    1. Vendor name (Internal reconciliation BP)
    2. Contra No. (Using the Recon. Number)
    3. Invoice No. (All invoices listed in the internal reconciliation) (Also, I would like this to be listed as "Invoice 1, Invoice 2, etc." rather than having the invoices listed in the repetitive area.)
    4. Amount (Recon. Amount)
Now, I am taking all the above information from the Recon. table because I am currently doing this Contra procedure using multiple BP Reconciliation. I am using SAP Business One 2007A.
    My questions are:
    1. How do I get all the above information to print on PLD?
    2. Is there a better way to do Contra procedures in SAP Business One other than BP Reconciliation?

    Hi Pradipta,
Please read this thread where a link to list of system vairables is provided.
    List of System Variables
The System variables for PLD is different from Form variables. So what Gordon has suggested is to view Form fields numbers and that might not be what you are looking for.

  • Variables in aging report for PLD

    Hi,
I am looking to find a list of the variables for a PLD aging report in SAP 8.8, the Excel I found doesn't list report starting with the code AGE...... In fact I am looking for the variable for the project number and the project name. The system information shows variable 41 but when I run the report I get an error.
    Thank you for your help
    Jac

    Hi,
Welcome you post on the forum. I believe there is only one excel file for PLD available for a certain version.
If the variable is not in this file, you will be out of luck.
The system variable showed under system info is not the same as in the PLD.
    Thanks,
    Gordon

    1
    2
    1
    2
    1
    2
    1
    2
    In this way.
What is the possible reason of this problem

    Hi,
you might picked some fields on pld from the table other than outgoing payments without linking them to payment table.

  • How to transform a text variable in PLD to all CAPS?

    Dear Experts,
I have a text variable in my PLD and I will like to change this text to all upper case?
What is the function I can use to achieve this in PLD?
    Warmest Regards,
    Chinho

    Hi Chinho,
PLD is a basic tool without the function you asked for.  If you click on Formula Editor, you will find only less than 10 string operations are supported. You may use UDF with FMS by Upper function from SQL to achieve your goal.
    Thanks,

  • [PLD] vendor ref Number variable in outgoing payment  ?

    Hello,
How to display the vendor ref Number in PLD on printing outgoing payment document.
We want display the ref in every line.
wath is the variable number ?
    Rgds,
    Thierry

    Hello Thierry,
On the Outgoing Payments Screen if you check on the
Customer / Vendor Reference Number, you would automatically see the Vendor Reference No in the rows where the invoices are displayed.
This information also carries to the template and when you preview/print the template this information is printed through the <b>Documents paid variable</b>
<b>SYSTEM VARIABLE NO 130</b>  This is Field_340 in the
<b>Outgoing Payment (System)</b> template <b>in the End of Report Area.</b>
    Best wishes

  • SAP 2007B: PIS / COFINS Variables aren`t implemented as PLD Variables at SO

    Hello,
At SAP 2007B, the PIS and COFINS Variables are not implemented as PLD Variables at Sales Orders.
I needed to print these values and created a message at SAP Portal (#1052007), where they told me to post this suggestion here in this forum. Is it possible?
    Their answer is below:
    "Dear Alice,
You are asking for a functionality which is currently not implemented in the standard software version of SAP Business One.
We would like to ask you to post your requirement in our SAP Business One Product Development
Collaboration forum and not via message (please kindly close the message
if you have opened one for a non-legal requirement):
    /community [original link is broken]@forumID=265.
Please refer to note 1028874 for further information.
As a workaround I suggest to store theinformation in the user defined fields. To automate the storing you may create formatted searches on those user defined fields.
    Kind regards,
    Julius Mastilak
SAP Business One Product Support "

    Hi,
Your understanding is correct.  Here is the right forum to post you DRQ.  However, this may result too long time waiting that far from your expectation.  SAP support team's suggested work around should be implemented while you are waiting.
    Thanks,
    Gordon

  • What is the system variables of document number in General Ledger PLD?

    Dear all,
Would anybody kindly tell me what is the system variables of document number in General Ledger Print Layout Designer?
The default print layout use transaction number (system variables 272), however, my client wants document number to be displayed in the transaction number column.

    Simon Chiu

    Hi
The only list available for Supported variables is for the version 2007A and for some specific localizations like Brazil and India.
For the 2007A version the list is available in the following link:
    http://service.sap.com/smb/sbo/pld
'How To Use the PLD Variables File in Release 2007 A '
But in general the variables are for documents not for reports.
In this case I believe there's no variable and you may need to fill a requirement in the Forum for that.
