Plz help!!! USB driver cannot be detected in XP

i followed the step to install XP and setup with the Mac driver disc in xp, all the hardware was successfully be detected (blue tooth, display, wireless) but one of the USB driver are not, i don't what is this,plz help!

One common problem with driver installations occurs if you aren't using Windows XP SP2, I read several threads where this was a problem with the USB drivers, for one.

I updated to iTunes 10.7 and now iTunes does not see my iPod Touch. It says the Apple Mobile Device USB Driver cannot be installed.

USB drive cannot format

So I just bought an 8gb usb drive, and after bootcamp assistant failed to copy my windows iso to it, I was forced to eject it. Now all format and erase options in disk utility are greyed out. I've tried formatting it in windows and no luck. Windows tells me it's write only. I've tried every fix I can find (boot from safe mode w/ command prompt, regedit, diskutil in terminal) and NONE have worked. Right now terminal is telling me that the usb is read only, has no file system, and no mount point. PLEASE HELP!

In Disk Utility (/Applictions/Utilities/Disk Utility.app), can you partition the USB drive?
Open Disk Utility in the Utilities folder.
Select your USB drive from the list on the right. It should not have any indentation (which is for the volumes on the drive).
Select "Partition" from the tabs.
Change "Partition Layout" to "1 Partition".
Give the partition a name and format.
Click "Apply".
Important note: Be careful to select the correct disk as partitioning a disk will erase any data stored on the disk. I advise that you disconnect all other external drives from your computer (except the one you want to reformat) so you do not accidently erase the wrong drive.

Open Disk Utility and see if it shows up there. Check you finder preferences. In the Finder go to preferences>Sidebar. Make sure all the items you want to see are checked.

I use MSI-6590 XP, all work fine for months but
suddenly the usd driver is missing ("other drive?" in device manager) and make all usb disconnect, where can i download the driver?
My driver disc is lost and i cannot upgrade to xp sp1 as mine is not original.

Upgrade to SP1 doesn't need "originality" as far as I know.
In that Device Manager, Select Update Drivers... and let WinXP install the driver for you. If not, go to the MSI Support webpage and get the .....

HFS+ x FAT32 USB drive cannot be recognized.

Hello, I wanted to make 2 partitions on my USB thumb drive, one in HFS+ and the other in FAT32. So, I did it in the disk utility thingy. The problem is the 2 partitions do show up on my Mac, but only the first partition can be seen in Windows Vista, i.e. if I chose HFS+ before FAT32, only the HFS+ partition is shown, vice versa.
What should I do?

The purpose why doing this is:
1. There're 3 computers, one MacBook, one windows PC at home with MacDrive, and one windows PC at work.
2. I would transfer large files which are larger than 4GB back and forth my MacBook and home PC (with MacDrive), so I got the HFS+ for this.
3. I need to bring files from work PC (without MacDrive), MacBook cannot write NTFS, work PC won't install MacDrive and so FAT32 is the only choice.
4. The 16GB thumb drive got plenty of space and I don't want to buy another one for that.
I did this in the 10.5 built-in disk utility thingy, so I don't want to comment on the compatibility issue.
Both HFS+ and FAT32 partitions are perfectly okay in 10.5. Showed up on desktop and work.
Back to the disk utility, when you choose cut it in 2 partitions, you'll need to choose which format the particular partition should be in, right?
If I format partition 1 in HFS+, 2 in FAT32, only the HFS+ partition showed up in my home PC (with MacDrive).
If I format partition 1 in FAT32, 2 in HFS+, only the FAT32 partition showed up instead.
What should I do?

I only have one external drive..can I use it both for time machine AND saving windows support for bootcamp?
I partitioned my external drive into two: one for Time Machine backup, and the other as MS-DOS FAT.
But this won't work when I use the BootCamp Assistant. What should I do? I don't want to reformat my external drive and not have a backup of my Mac, and I need to install PC-only software for class.

So I have an awesome late 2009 macbook pro 13.3", with a 2.53 GHz intel core duo processor, 500GB 5400rpm HDD, 4GB ram. I just ordered an 8GB ram upgrade from newegg, because a lot of stuff I do with my computer takes ALOT of resources. Im also looking at HDD upgrades as well, to speed up that end. I was looking at a 7200 rpm until I came across an SAS drive. It's 2.5", looks identical to SATA but at 15,000 rpm!! upon looking at my system profiler I noticed an area labeled SAS. When I looked into it, it just said that no SAS "devices" are attached. So does that mean my computer does in fact have an SAS controller? Can I use an SAS drive instead of my SATA? Please anything is helpful, I am a tiny but time constrained.

SSD sounds really nice, and ive even found one cheaper than the hdd i was planning on getting. Now i realize its only a 40GB SSD but it would only be for my OS. My question is would this fit in my computer?

How to enable USB drive and CDwrite in Trusted Solaris.

I installed Trusted Solaris extensions in an X86 desktop and after that the cdwrite disappeared, the usb drive is not detected.
How do I enable the CD writer and the zip drive ? I have a file to be copied urgently, the USB drive doesn't work, the CD writer is not seen on the menu and internet / email is still not functional on this desktop
If there are some commands to be typed, please give me step by step instructions with command syntax and if there is a file to be altered please let me know where to find that file to be altered.

It's the same for Solaris. Take care about the line breaks in the document (sometimes one command seems to be two commands, it's one with parameters) and there is also a small bug: On page 6, step 5, it must read "Directory = topicmaps/example" (as printed in the screenshot).

J6450 cannot be detected on network

Help this low-techie, please! My 6450 prints through the USB, but cannot be detected wirelessly. When I try to reset the network (or install via the CD) the USB connection does not recognize that the printer is connected (though it will print documents via that same USB). I ran the Wireless Network Test Report, and in the Diagnostics Summary, it shows:
Wireless On PASS
Wireless Working FAIL
Therefore, the remaining tests are not run.
Because I cannot get the PC and printer to recognize each other for the purpose of setup, I don't know what to try next. (BTW, the current and correct drivers are installed on the laptop)

I think your printer's wireless radio has died. Let's reset the printer to try to revive it.
Turn the printer off
Hold the # and 6 keys while and a bit after turning the printer on
Run the self-test again (Setup > Network > Wireless Network Test or some such words)
