PO Message - Dispatch Time

Hi,
I have created a new message type copying data from NEU. I create a condition for this message type with the dispatch time 3 (Send with application own transaction).
It is working fine when I create a new PO. But when I change the PO and a new message is created (Change message) the dispatch time apperas automatically with value 4 (Send immediately (when saving the application)) . I expect the value 3 as per the condition message.
Can anyone please explain me this behavier? Is it possible to custom it in order to the system get the value 3 even when the PO is changed?

Purchase Order going to Dump if Output Message has Dispatch Time 4

Hi All,
We are getting a Runtime Error while saving or changing any Purhase Order, if the Output Message has Dispatch Time maintained as 4 i.e. Send Immediately.
For all other dispatch time there is no issue. We have maintained condition record for the Message Type with Print Medium as 1 and Dispatch Time as 4. Also, the printer is maintained in the communication tab.
No printer is maintained as default in the User Profile. No Printer is assigned to purchasing group. Our requirement is to print on the printer specified in the Condition Records itself.
We are using Smartform, not standard SAP script for printing.
Please suggest how we can rectify this issue.

Error when connecting to portal : Message: Dispatcher running but no server

 Hello everyone
 
I searched a lot on SDN for an answer to my problem but i couldn`t find any solution. Till yesterday the portal worked OK.. no errors untill this one, but from yesterday when i try to connect i received this error:

I read all SAP Notes regarding this problem and i couldn`t find any solution which would fit for me.

I read the notes.. but for my problem it is written .. please contact SAP Support..Have any one .. any idea about this problem? It`s is importan because it is the future PRD portal.. not yet with go-live.. and i do not wan`t to install it again.

As you can see we have AIX 6.1 on Oracle 10.2.0.4 with ECC6 ..
This is a strange error because on this server we have the BI productive server and the database is always available..
Any ideas?

Output determination: Dispatch time for Outline Agreements

Hi gurus,
I have an issue, when I am creating an outline agreement, by defaul the output message type: NEU is showed, and, it is fine, but, the dispatch time is always = 1 - Send with periodically schedule job.
In the customising of the output NEU, I have:
General data:
Access sequence = 0001
Check box active = Access conditions
Check box active = Multiple issuing
Print parameter = Purchasing group
In the fine-tuned control, the "Update Print-Related data" is not active.
And, I do not have defined any message schema for this output.
And, then, I customised the dispatch time for NEU with the value = 4 - Print immediately, but, still is appearing the dispatch time "1".
Then, I created 1 condition record with POrg, Doctype and Vendor, but, still is appearing the dispatch time "1".
Could you help me with this, please?

Hi Biju,
The point is that this output message type does not have a "Message schema determination", for that reason, if I am creating the condition record, it will be never updated. I was doing a testing and saw it.
But, if my message type NEU does not have any schema and according to SAP, by default will define the message type NEU, why the dispatch time is still = 1 if in the customising of NEU I have defined the dispatch time = 4?
More ideas?

Difference between dispatch time in po and scheduled time in job

Hi all ,
can any one please explain me
what is the exact difference between dispatch time maintained in po and time/date set for job schedule
here my question is ,i maintained dispatch time as send job with periodically in PO and i had maintained date/time in job process steps with some period.
when po message is triggered ,which time will be consider system.time specified in job schedule or dispatch time in Po.
which one consider first?

Dispatch time that is set up as part of the message output condition records, drives at which event does the output be transmitted. Conversely, the date/time during the batch job set up is the time when the batch job must execute the program.
For example, if you had selected the dispatch time for output NEU in the PO to be '1' and you had set up ME9F program as a background job running daily once at 1PM, when the PO is created and saved at 10AM, the output type NEU will be triggered and will be held in queue. At 1PM when ME9F program is run as part of the background job, it'll pick up this output type for execution and transmission.

Unable to resolve 'weblogic.messaging.dispatcher.S:null'

We have a WLS 10.3 cluster with 1 admin server and 2 managed servers. Each managed server hosts JMS queues so we have a distributed queue environment. Applications periodically report an issue that prevents messages from being dropped onto the queues. The frequency of the issue is weekly and sometimes multiple times during the week. We have found that un-targeting and re-targeting the JMS Servers seems to resolve the problem (at least in the short term). The message producer applications are using the weblogic.jar and an xa connection factory. I've included the stack trace below. I'm hoping that someone can help uncover the root cause of the issue.

Tips to solve UDQ issues
- Make sure the Server Affinity Enabled parameter should be un-checked (disable) which under the [ Connection factory –> Configuration (tab) –> Load Balance (sub-tab)]
- Disable the Server Affinity Enabled parameter for the connection factory whish is been used by your UDQ.
- All the managed servers are in the same cluster.
- If the managed serves are in different boxes make sure the listing address is given correctly which is under [ Machine –> Configuration (tab) –> Node Manager (sub-tab) ]
- Test if you are able to PING the servers on different boxes and make sure that there is no network issues and you are able to communicate with the servers.

Working with dispatcher timer

What is the best way for use DispatcherTimer I'm when I need time for my app add one per page and stop it when the page is out but now I thinking if I use one in the App class for each when I need it, is the best way.
And if the way what I'm doing don't affect the performance of the app?

The dispatcher timer, as its name cleverly suggests, is attached to the CoreDispatcher object which maintains the thread's system message queue. Once you start one, it usually never stops even if you moved away to a different page. Why>? Because the UI
stack looks like this

Core Window
STA Thread with Dispatcher.
The same dispatcher object can be accessed from several places throughout your UI. Now, all dispatcher timers are attached to this object. If you actually need one for each page, you can make it a shared resource (make a public static DispatcherTimer in
your App.xaml.cs file) and you can access it from there.
Unless the timers are supposed to tick at different intervals, there is no point in using more than one. Shared timers will work best. Remember, the tick event is marshalled on the UI thread and if you do intensive stuff, you will block the UI

I can't connect to the drive on my airport time machine and am receiving the message: "AirPort Time Capsule" can't be opened because the original item can't be found.

Time capsule has been working perfectly for months.
Suddenly I can't connect to the drive on my airport time capsule and am receiving the message: “AirPort Time Capsule” can’t be opened because the original item can’t be found.
Time machine appears to be still backing up (last backup within the last hour), but drive is not visible and I have files stored on it.
I have tried rebooting everything in order as suggested for other issues, anyone got any ideas how to see the drive again??

What OS are you running??
It is very typical Yosemite issue.
1. In airport utility does the TC show up.. if so click it.. and see the summary page which will include its IP address. That is what you are after.
From my screenshot you can see the TC address is 192.168.2.57
It might well show up briefly after a reboot or in ipad / iphone version utility. Yosemite is hopeless. The airport utility hardly works.
2. In Finder use Go, Connect to server.
Type in SMB://192.168.2.57 (replace with IP you discover).
If it is possible it will request a password.. type that in and DO NOT FORGET.. to store it in your keychain.
This will work until the TC changes IP which won't happen if it is main router.. but will happen if it is bridged.. so you need to tell me the whole network setup.
Mavericks is nearly as bad and the above instructions should be universal except I would use AFP instead of SMB. Apparently Yosemite is now totally Windows oriented.

I have been using firefox for years. I installed the latest version of Firefox. It worked fine for several days. Now I get the above message each time I try to start Firefox, even in safe mode. i have checked with latest antivirus softwere also.. i didn't find any thing suspicious.

I was having this problem few days ago,and I have fixed.Try this steps-If you have AVG antivirus so go on firefox>Tools>Add On and Disable AVG safe search and AVG tool bars too.Then restart computer.

I keep on receiving the same text message multiple times and at around the same time each night. Any idea how I can stop this happening? The text messages are originating from to separate Saudi Arabian mobile numbers. Both these people are listed in my contacts so do you think if I delete their names it might stop the texts coming htrough each night?

Deleting the people from your contacts will not stop the messages. Have you tried talking to the people and finding out if they're sending you messages? You could try contacting your carrier and finding out what blocking services they offer. However, theat would block all messages from those people.

The article says that I should upgrade to the latest iTunes. I am on the latest iTunes version.
If you could read just a tiny little bit further, under the "Additional Information" section immediately after that, it says:
If you are still experiencing this issue when syncing, or have not installed Xcode 4 and get this alert:
Follow the troubleshooting steps in Mac OS X v10.5, v10.6: Resetting the SyncServices folder.
If the issue is still unresolved, follow steps in Sync Services: Advanced troubleshooting for contact and calendar syncing.
Have you tried those measures?

I receive a not connected to the internet message several times daily on my iMac connected via airport to a time capsule which accesses the internet via cable modem.. When I input my password to enter network preferences, the connection re-establishes.

I receive a "not connected to the internet message" several times daily on my iMac connected via airport to a time capsule which accesses the internet via a cable modem. Software/firmware is up to date on the iMac (OSX 10.6.8) and Tme Capsule(7.5.2). Browser is Safari 5.1.
When I input my password at the prompt to enter network preferences, all the lights go green (ie... ethernet, ISP etc.) and the connection re-establishes immediately and states "the connection appears to be working normally".
It more of a nuisance than anything and seems to have started ocurring over the past couple of months. I also have a windows XP box also connected to the same cable modem that I never have internet connectivity issues with. I've verified all the physical aspects of the connections and can't see any evidence of any actual drops in the modem logs. I suspect it is just an intermittent communication loss between the Imac and the Time Capsule, but I am not very familiar with Mac equipment yet.
Just wondering if anyone has experienced a similar problem and what you did (if anything) to resolve it?

The AirPort Express will connect to your existing wireless network if the network is using WPA2 Personal or WPA/WPA2 Personal wireless security settings.
So, it can join the network as a client and then provide an Ethernet signal to your Time Capsule.
Be sure to configure the Time Capsule to operate in Bridge Mode so that it will be operating on the same network.
