Pocket Data: Connection not allowed!

I tried to use WLAN to connect to internet suuccessfully. When I use 3G to connect to internet, I get an error message "Pocket Data: Connection not allowed!". Can someone advise what does it mean - fault at operator side or phone settings.

You don't mention whether this is brand new phone with a new network provider, as the GPRS packet data server connection has to be activated; this sometimes takes 1-2 days!

    I am currently using SharePoint 2013 and InfoPath 2013.
    I want to create a drop down list in InfoPath that points to external data content (in this case a lookup table in SQL server).
    The process works in the InfoPath "preview" mode, but when I go to publish it to my SharePoint website, I get the following error:
    "Additional data connections not supported."
    I've also tried deploying the data source to my InfoPath Connection library on the SharePoint website and pointing it to that, but to no avail.
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    One further thing to note is that I am limited to a non-HTML5 web brower so I can't use Light Switch.

    Hi Joshua,
    Based on my research, we cannot add data connections to External List forms. They are not supported just like the error says. It's a limitation of InfoPath and there is no workaround for this issue so far.

  • WSDL Data connection not working - SAP Interactive Forms(Adobe Based)

    I am trying to explore the features of Adobe based forms in SAP (WAS 6.4) and have been trying to create an interactive form.
    I am trying to use the WSDL file Data Connection but with no success. This is what I have been doing, starting with a blank form in the "Layout" tab,
       - In the "Data View", created a "New Data Connection".
       - Selected "WSDL file" Option.
       - Browsed to and selected the desired WSDL file.
       - Selected the WebService Option listed (Only one in my case).
    The WebService in this case is programed to "Request" two numbers and "Response" back the sum. (This was just for trial).
    - The connection subsequently appeared in the "Data View".
       - Expanded the "Request" and "Response" trees and dragged the elements to the "Body Page" screen.
       - Dragged the Data Connection Button to the screen.
       - On the Properties of the Button, Went to the "Object" tab and then to the "Execute" tab.
       - Checked "Re-Merge Form Data" and Run at "Client and Server"
       - Generated the PDF Preview
       - On the preview, entered the values for the "Requested" fields and clicked the button. It displays the error message "Couldn't post data to ".
    This was my long story, but with this background, what I want to know is:
       - How do i get it to work, I expected to see the sum in the field.
       - What is meant by running at "Client or Server".
    We do use a proxy server to connect to the Internet.
    As a bottom line, I intend to make an interactive form with which I can display real-time transactional data on the form from our R/3 46C server based on a user input on the form itself (eg: PO info on entering of PO number on the form output itself)

    Looking for messages with zero reply I have found yours.
    Even if it is some time ago, when you posted the message, I would like to give some hints here:
    Web Dynpro does not allow to access data coming directly from a Web Service and display it within a pdf file. You need to create a Web Service modell first. Then you would bind the InteractiveForm property to the context and the data can be shown.

  • Powerpivot 2012 on Excel 2010 - External Data connections not saving passwords, having to re-enter password EVERYTIME I refresh data

    Hey Guys,
    Using Excel 2010 with latest version of Powerpivot 2012 available 11.1.3129.0
    For my SQL Server Data connections in Powerpivot I DO NOT have any issue, when clicking refresh it never asks me to enter a password and uses my Windows AD info.
    However, for my plethora of other external data connections (Informix, Oracle, Etc...) that I would like to have fluid use within Powerpivot, big problems.
    Lets start with Oracle. Below is a screenshot of my connection tab within Powerpivot.
    So as you can see, all the details are entered and Allow Saving Password is selected. Now I will close out of Powerpivot and Excel completely and re-open. I will navigate to the Powerpivot tab
    and select Powerpivot Window. And then will select to "Refresh All" and am quickly prompted with the "Data Source Credentials" window to re-enter my data source password, again.
    What I have already tried. The above method for starters in which I use a connection string under Table Import Wizard --> Others (OLEDB/ODBC)... I found it the least annoying route, although
    still have to re-enter password everytime, which is what I hope this forum can help with.
    I also have tried doing a direct Oracle connection in Table Import Wizard but also does not eliminate my #1 problem.
    I have also created an ODC file to try and use that with stored credentials within the file, also still asks for password each and everytime.
    The same thing happens with my other data connections to Informix and DB2. So any help and/or suggestions anyone has would be great. I also cant upload these powerpivots to our powerpivot gallery
    on SharePoint 2010, I have a sneaking suspicion it is due to the version of powerpivot I am currently using.

    My company is not using Excel 2013, only 2010. So that is what I have to work with. From what I have read this is a huge hole in the Powerpivot 2012 framework and is extremely frustrating. This seems so basic and simple and like something everyone using
    this product would use, and yet it still doesnt work.

  • How to configure optimal data connections to allow excel to retrieve multiple data sets form a single data source

    Hi all,
    I would like to have a data connection file used by excel to extract data form a SQL Server DB (so that change in location of the DB needs only a change to the  single data connection file). The excel file will retrieve data from only a single database,
    but there are multiple queries (30+) stored on SQL server that are used - each SQL server views' data is returned to a pivot table in an excel worksheet, which has an associated chart with various slicers on the main dashboard worksheet.
    Do I need a seperate data conenction file for each SQL server query being retrieved, or can a single connection file be created as all data comes from a single database?
    (all my attempts and research on the net have led me to believe that a seperate file is needed for each view, but this seems unnecessary)

    Hi, im learning my way with this, so apologies if I am providing too much or too little info.
    There are 8 source files which are very loosely related in that they capture infromation regarding what has happened within a metro railway over a day. However there are only a few relationships between the contents of tehse files.
    These tables are imported into SQL Server using SSIS where I have developed a number of views that query these 8 source tables to generate a number of metrics to provide insight into the service provided to the passengers. Some examples of metrics are: Number
    of passengers in transit at any given time, time taken to travel between adjacent stations, how much power was used during the day, what distance did the trains travel during the day, etc. Some views provide only a handful of rows, some provide 1M plus. There
    are now approx 40 seperate views created.
    I have then used a spreadsheet with a worksheet associated with each SQL server view. Each worksheet is set up as a pivot table, which allows the related chart on the main dashboard worksheet to use standard excel capability to slice and present the data
    in different ways.
    At the moment if the server on which teh database is stored moves, I have had to recreate the spreadsheet from scratch as I dont know how to change the connection information in any other way. Ideally I would like to have connection info in a single place
    to reduce ongoing maintenance, particularly as I would like to place the spreadsheet on a SharePoint server to distribute it to other users.

    My WRT160N router will not allow me to connect via WI-FI.  On the Linksys EasyLink Advisor...it will not even allow me to select "Wireless Connection" as an option under "Select a Connection Method.

    What is the operating system of your wireless computers/devices that were not able to connect to the network? I suggest that you set the router's wieless settings. Go to http://192.168.1.1 leave the username blank and type admin as the password. Then go to Wireless tab, set it to Manual and change the Channel to 11. You may actually use other channels like channel 6, 1, 9, and other channels. Choose the onw with the best result.

    Can any body so kind to find a way in solve the following business requirement:
    In my client business scenario the PR only subjected to release. PO against the PR not go for any release.
    My client require the user should not allow to change the data of PO which is pick from PR (PO created reference to PR).
    For example : user should not allow to change the quantity in the PO which capture from PR while creating the PO reference to PR.

    there is no standard way of doing this and I am not sure that it should be done.
    How are you going to be able to correct errors and set deletion flags, delivery completerd flags etc. if the PO is blocked for change?
    If you really want to do this then  I would create a new document type that has the requisition reference field set to mandatory. This means that the document tyoe can ONLY be used for creating POs that refer to requisitions. Then change the field settings for this new PO document to display only in ME22n.
    That way, POs that don't reference a requisition will use another PO document type that has the fields set to open for input in ME22n.
    Would this do what you need to do?
    You should also look at the EVO and EFB parameters and config (in the Purcashing config menu under environment data > Default values for buyers (the EVO paraneters are maintained here)  The EFB parameter (the more powerful settings) is configured in the purchasing > Authorisation Management > Define function authorisations for buyers)
    Read the configuration text help and note the flags and what they do.

  • WIFI and mobile data connections not connecting with any other outside WIFI networks. Bluetooth not working in car. Any solution?

    After installed iOS7 I am facing the following two problems:
    1. WIFI as well as mobile data connection are working fine at my home. But, not connecting with any other outside WIFI networks. Error message is 'unable to join network'. Mobile data also not connected outside my home. Sometimes wifi and mobile data connect outside my home when I turn off and on the phone.
    2. Bluetooth, in my car, paires well and incoming and out going calls can be received and made. The problem is no sound out put from speakers.
    Apple please make note of the above problems (of million people) and give solution before giving any other updations for painting and tinkering the screens.

  • DB new connections not allowing...

    Hi,
    when we are running the RMAN backup. DB is not allowing new connections.
    we are getting the err ORA-12500 TNS:listener failed to start a dedicated server process. Existing connections are working fine.
    How can i resolve this, Please help.

    Hi,
    Is your DB running with Shared Server option? If so, then you will need to create another tnsnames to accept dedicated connections and connect using that name.
    RMAN needs to be connected using a dedicated connection.

  • Material status in master data set not allow create production order. but..

    Dear All expert.
    There is one case I don't understand,  the component material within BOM had been set material plant status which it is not allowed to create Production order ( Porder header Msg & PO/Network item msg = B in OMS4).
    If user use tx:CO01 for create production order, the error message block production order can't be created. It is good .
    However, when user is using Tx: CO41 to convert planned order to production order with that material ( status which not allowed to create production Order) . it is successfully without any error message ..  User successfully create production order without limit.
    Therefore,  is there any configure in IMG was wrong?

    I had followed your instruction to check. It is very helpful.
    when I check program in CO41 (saplcoup), I found that it only check material  status (FG) on top level of BOM .
    Its don't check component material.
    Function CO_ZF_CHECK_MATSTAT_POS  component item in BOM , the program will not check item plant status.
    When I use TX: CO40 to test. I found that CO40 with Program LCOSD1J - CHECK_MATSTAT_COMP have component material status check.
    I'm not sure is that genic CO41 don't have component material status check?

    I am trying to create a tabular form on a table[create SQL as below].

    /My idea of the tabular form is to allow entry of time both hours and minutes from the date picker along with date for <b>"START_DATE", "END_DATE" </b> items.
    But I dont see a possibility to do that for hours and minutes. But I remember having seen this in Apex 3.2, not sure if I missed some thing while page making or this feature of Date Picker is left intentionally in the new release.
    Please share any ideas you have.

    My understanding is you are trying to create a Tabular form using the Table which you specified, you are expecting time part to be displayed in the Date Picker column ?.
    The Time part of hours and Minutes will be displayed based on the format mask used for the Application or the item. if the format mask is DD-MM-YYYY HH24:MI then you will see the hour and minute part with the Date Picker.

  • SSIS 2012 - Double quote charcter in data does not allow to load flat file to source component

    Hello everyone,
    I've created a source component for flat file data.
    This file contains data the column data in double quotes. Like,
    First Name Last Name
    "Ankit"       "Shah"
    The text qualifier is double quote for source file connection. 
    When I do have data like below, it does not able to load the source file. And throws an error "The column delimiter for column was not found"
    First Name Last Name
    "Ank"it"       "Shah"
    Can anybody please advise how to resolve this problem?

    how to block or restrict employee from creating the same date for travel request for another request?
    so if the employee has already had trip for 01.04.2010 - 04.04.2010, he will not be able to create another travel request for the same date?!

    TM-->Travel Expenses >Dialog and travel expenses control>dialog control-->Define Schema and individual Field Control         -->trip schema(domestic)
    uncheck the field "overlapping trips allowed"
