Possible to have ApplicationControlBar appear above TitleWindow?

This is Flex 3.4/AS3/FP9 question (not Gumbo)
Is it possible to adjust the depth/display list properties such that a component (e.g., an ApplicationControlBar ) sits above a TitleWindow? Or to rephrase, have a TitleWindow (PopupManager) not be the highest element in the display list? For my purposes the Popup is non-modal.
I'd rather look at extending a component (but which one? the ApplicationControlBar or the PopupManager?). I've looked at components like MDICanvas and MDIWindow, but there is a significant performance hit in our application when they are used.
Alternatively, is it possible to limit a PopupManager's "impact" to a single component/container? i.e., It's confined to the launching containers bounds/depth?
In the AS2 days I would have swapDepths after getNextHighestDepth(),

If I understand you correctly you actually want to see the grand total on your chart as a separate line, right? Unfortunately Pivot Charts do not provide that out of the box. One option would be to manually create a "normal" chart from it as described
here but I have not tried that yet.
Another (in my opinion) nice option to solve this is to create an "artificial" all-element in one of your slicers. This could for example be accomplished by using a date table (instead of your month/year-fields from the fact table) that is related to
the date-field from your fact-table. You would then add another element to that date-table such as the last line from this linked table:

All (Average)
Using this I created a new measure based on your existing CumPercent:

The applications are two: the first is "Layers - Standard, J. Benjamin Gotow, version 2.7.2" and the second is "Brushes - iPad Edition, Taptrix, version 1.2.2". The help files don't aswer to my curiosity. I'm looking at developer's website for a support forum just now, many thanks.

Is is possible to have my forwarded icloud on gmail sent messages appear in my icloud sent mail?

I'm sure many people have wondered this... being fed up with the slow speed on the icloud web mail client I forwarded all my meesages to gmail and was able to set up gmail to use my icloud email address when sending and all is working pretty well. The only issue is if I send a message from gmail using my icloud smtp settings it doesn't show up when I go back to my icloud accout's sent mail. Those messages always stay in gmail.
Question: Is it even possible to have this gmail forwarded set up somehow report back to icloud on sent mail too? It seems like it would be possbile but I just don't know how to make it happen. I don't want to have to make a rule to send my old mail a copy of every message to send to myself and then have duplicates of everything so looking for a real solution. I checked out the google help pages with no luck so thought I would reach out to you guys. I'm sure someone on here has gotten this work correctly right? Let me knwo if what i'm describing isn't making any sense. Thanks.

I'm afraid it's not possible. Even if you've set GMail to send using smpt.mail.me.com the actual messages are created on GMail and iCloud knows nothing about them.

The page size there appears quite small and, after the initial novelty of turning the pages, it could become tiresome leafing through many images.

There should be no issues. Its designed to work like that. You don't change Apple IDs just because you get a new device.

If you buy an App, you have 2 ways to get it to the iPhone6: If Automatic Downloads is enabled in Settings->iTunes & App Store, it will automatically download to the iPhone 6 when you buy it on the 5 and vice versa if you buy it on the 6, it will download to the 5.
Alternatively, you can simply go to the App Store App->Updates->Purchased and look for the App there and download it. Purchased Apps will not require payment again. i.e They'll be free to download to the iPhone 6 once purchased.
SMS Messages will sync over using Continuity as long as they are on the same Wifi network. Otherwise, restoring the iPhone 5 backup to the iPhone 6 will transfer all messages received up until the backup was made onto the iPhone 6.

If you want the Continuity features as explained above you need to update the iPhone 5 to iOS 8. Otherwise its not all that important.

Hey guys, here's a weird one - I have a large library on my macbook for my DJ music. Now I want to convert all my old albums to AIFF for listening purposes, and not DJing, so I don't want to cram them all into the lappy HD.
I have a NAS, which shows up as a 'Shared' Library. Can I create a library on an external Thunderbolt portable HD and have it do the same? Or will that only work on Network HD's.
I know the trick to hold Option and select your library at startup for multiple librarys, however I want to use them both at once.
Any ideas?

Basically, I want to plug in an external HD, and have it appear under 'Shared' Libraries, just like what happens when I'm connected to my NAS Server. If this is possible, of course.

Is it possible to have a transparent border? I'm asking because I'm putting a component into one of Hans Mullers wizzzy MultiSplitPanes which in turn is opaque because It's used inside a TabbedPane (XP colours these with a white background gradient .i.e. not dialog grey).
The tree with scrollpane weren't quite centered so a slapped an empty border on it with insets to make it look square, but the border - even empty ones appear opaque when used inside a transparent component?! Anyone seen this before?
nb.I'd guess it would be possible to nest the scrollpane inside yet another transparent panel with a gridbag insets of (2,2,3,2).. but that seems even more of a pain just to shuffle up one pixel.

I have a sole i-pod and two pc's, used the instructions for "iTunes for Windows: Moving your iTunes Media folder" in the hope that I could synch my one i-pod between two different computers that are sharing the same library. Is it possible to have two seperate computers that only share an external hard drive (one wireless, one not) ? When I am looking at a shared library should it appear the same on both machines (ie: playlists/ purchased list etc)?

If it is moved correctly, playlists will display on both computers and it should be possible.
Close iTunes.
Hold <SHIFT> and launch iTunes.
When prompted to create a new or open an existing iTunes library point iTunes to the iTunesLibrary.itl file on the external drive.
The entire library should now show up with all playlists and playcounts.
Do this on both computers.
Keep in mind that only one computer can access iTunes at a time, otherwise errors will occur when each computer attempts to write to or update the iTunesLibrary.itl file.
Syncing may work seemlessly with both computers, but honestly syncing is designed to work with one and only one computer.

So back in June my mum took up apple finance so I could get a macbook and pay her each month (I was under 18 at the time and have no credit history) and that went through within a minute no issues..
Now I face another issue, I want the new iphone 5s but still within my current iphone 5 contract I can't get out of but that aside my question is:
Is it possible to have two apple loans under one bank account? (the iphone one being much smaller than the existing mac loan)
If not, I'll simply have to save up £700.

The reference to two Apple loans led me to believe it was two Apple finance deals in conjunction with, for example, a Barclays Bank tie-up as we appear to have here in the UK. As you suggest, the payment is a matter between the poster and his mom, but I think that behind all this is the question of whether the poster's mom can have two separate accounts in this way. Which of course, she can.

While I like some of the video editing features of iMovie HD 6, the problems with the Ken Burns Effect have killed my ability to create slideshows with iMovie. Thank you. I should have thought of this, as I am running iMovie 8 and iMovie HD 6 on an Intel iMac at work. When I installed iMovie HD 6 onto this system (I'm not a fan of the latest incarnation of iMovie), it was put into a "previous version" folder. Since my G4 iMac already has been upgraded to iMovie HD 6, I'll just put iMovie HD 6 into a folder (maybe label it as the "latest version") and then install iMovie HD 5.
Thank you for the insight on the trash emptying messing with the re-editing of photos. If I start a new project using the same photos from iPhoto (I use the media browser within HD 6 to select my photos in my iPhoto library) and never empty the trash until the project is complete, will the problem not appear? Since posting the above, I have resolved a sensible work-around in regard to ebookstores which prefer us to have separate accounts for our separate Adobe IDs.
However, I really would appreciate it if anyone here can confirm that a DRM controlled book does actually become associated with a particular Adobe ID account at the time of first download to Digital Editions on that PC/device.
Two large book stores have said using my account with them to download books to our two separate Adobe IDs is OK, but I don't want to find my husband is unable to open his downloaded books.

Yes - I understand it's just about presentation. And no, you can't do what you want to do in normal ad hoc mode. Sorry.
One workaround is to create a 'Smart Slice' - there is a Smart Slice option to set Ancestor Position to 'Top' in zooms, and this does work with Essbase connections.
By the way, there is a regular Smart View option to grey out options (like Ancestor Position) that don't apply to the current connection type - it's on the Advanced tab. May help avoid confusion.

Removing strange software can be a task. The following outlines various ways of uninstalling software:

Most OS X applications are completely self-contained "packages" that can be uninstalled by simply dragging the application to the Trash. Applications may create preference files that are stored in the /Home/Library/Preferences/ folder. Although they do nothing once you delete the associated application, they do take up some disk space. If you want you can look for them in the above location and delete them, too.
Some applications may install an uninstaller program that can be used to remove the application. In some cases the uninstaller may be part of the application's installer, and is invoked by clicking on a Customize button that will appear during the install process.
Some applications may install components in the /Home/Library/Applications Support/ folder. You can also check there to see if the application has created a folder. If an application installs any other files the best way to track them down is to do a Finder search using the application name or the developer name as the search term. Some applications install a receipt in the /Library/Receipts/ folder. Usually with the same name as the program or the developer. The item generally has a ".pkg" extension. Be sure you also delete this item as some programs use it to determine if it's already installed.

When you say "iTunes account," I think you mean iTunes library. An iTunes "account" is what you use to sign in to the iTunes Store (your Apple ID) and purchase songs (and other media). The iTunes library is what you have on your computer, with your songs and playlists. That is what you use for syncing iPods.
You can have a separate iTunes library. If you create a new user account on your computer (using Windows) and log in to that user account, iTunes will create a new iTunes library for that account. In fact, Windows will keep ALL of your documents separate, as if you are using a separate computer. That is probably the best way to keep your songs in a different iTunes library.
You can also create a separate iTunes library in the same Windows user account, if you use this procedure to switch between iTunes libraries
