Posting in Frameset

I am in desperate need of wisdom and insight. I have a simple
Captivate simulation in which users tab from field to field and
enter data. It works fine when we run it locally, but when we post
it to our LMS (which displays programs in a frameset), the tab key
sends the focus out of the content frame and into the other frames
in the frameset.
Is there a way to keep the focus in the SWF, allowing the
user to cycle through the fields in the in the captivate program,
and leave the adjacent frames out of the tab cycle?

I am tring to simulate software fucntionality which relies on
the tab-key to navigate from field to field. The tab-key causes the
point of reference within the *.swf file to navigate to the html
page (IE).
I have been working on this design issue for quite a while
and thought it was related to the navigation bar.
Simulation Action:
1. Enter text in a text field #1.
2. Press the Tab key (to navigate to the next data field).
3. Enter text in a text field #2.
4. Press the Tab key (to navigate to the next data field).
RESULTS:
Pressing the TAB will not navigate to the next data field.
The point of emphasis navigates from the *swf file and to the
navigation bar or to the HTML page.
I welcome any feedback and suggestions related to this
issue.

  • JSP and Netscape frame target bug. HELP!!!!!!!!

    Hello All,
    I have a frameset that has 4 frames. In one of the frames I submit a form which processes some jsp code. The jsp code then is suppossed to load a new page in another frame (I have the target="MyFrame" in the form).
    In IE it works fine and loads into the proper frame, but in Netscape 4.79 + it doesn't and opens in a completely new window. If I just have the page as html it works fine in all browsers, so I have isolated it to the jsp implementation.
    Anyone come across this problem? Better yet, Anyone know how to fix the problem?
    I need help ASAP as my deadline has passed and I haven't found a solution.
    Thanks in advance,
    Hyper
    Actual jsp page below
    <html>
    <head>
    <base target="QA">
    <Script>
    function pushme(){
    document.form1.submit();
    </script>
    </head>
    <body>
    <form name="form1" action="nd/Euser.jsp" method="get" target="MyFrame">
    <input type=hidden name=server value="00.000.000.00 - I actually have a correct server address in the functioning code">
    <input type=hidden name=port value="8080">
    <input type=hidden name=username value="enduser01">
    <input type=hidden name=userid value="1">

    <input type=hidden name=eventid value="1">
    </form>
    <script>
    pushme();
    </script>
    </body>
    </html>

    This can not possibly be a JSP issue since it works in IE. In your case, JSP is just producing html and how this html will be handled depends on the browser .Post your frameset tag along with the html that you calimed to be working. Better yet, some html/Netscape users forum might be more helpful for you.

  • Open and Close Posting Period (OB52)

    Dear Experts,
    My client wants to close the posting period of the previous month.
    First I went to transaction OB52 to define an entry From Per. 1 2008 To Per. 12 2009 to open all the posting period for the year.  But when the time passes, do I have to manually change the From Per. back to the current month (e.g From Per.1 2008 changed to From Per. 2 2008 and so on)
    If this is the case, is there any way to make this a automatic function to do this.
    Points will be rewarded.
    Thanks.

    Hi,
    You define posting periods in your fiscal year variants. You can open and close these posting periods for posting. As many periods as you require can be open for posting simultaneously. Special periods can be open for closing postings during the period-end closing.
    You have the following options for opening and closing posting periods:
    - Posting Period Variants: You can specify which company codes are open for posting in a posting period variant. Posting period variants are cross-company code and you have to assign them to your company codes.
    - Account Type: You can differentiate the opening and closing of posting periods by account type. This means that for a specific posting period, postings can be permitted to customer accounts, but not to vendor accounts.
    - Account Interval: You can differentiate the opening and closing of posting periods by account intervals. This means that you only open a posting period for posting to a specific account.
    Path for making the settings for opening and closing posting periods:
    Customizing for Financial Accounting under Financial Accounting Global Settings -> Document -> Posting Periods
    For detailed example for opening and closing posting periods please refer the link below:
    http://help.sap.com/erp2005_ehp_03/helpdata/EN/96/8b300943ce11d189ee0000e81ddfac/frameset.htm
    I hope it will help.
    If helpful, please assign points.

  • Invoicing: monitor Credit Memo and Invoicing posts

    Hello,
    Looking for an Invoice Management System expert. I would like to know the following two things.
    1. On posting an 'incomming invoice' (with reference to a PO) in SRM this Invoice will be replicated to the R/3 back-end system. The back-end will and should use this invoice to follow-up the financial administrative process, how do they go about on this. The purchase order and Invoice will be posted to f.e. G/L 'Sources, with tax 19%'. What transaction do financial administrators use to book/post bank/liquid asset changes against these invoices?
    2. Up on creating a credit memo, for example for 1 of the 2 line items that wern't delivered but where initially invoiced, do we need to create a Credit Memo in SRM with negative amounts or does the Credit Memo with positive amounts suffice (it will always be used as credit, positive doesn't mean it's debit)?
    Kind regards,
    Tim

    Hello,
    Subsequent Debit and Credits
    After an Invoice is successfully posted and the transaction is completed, Vendor approaches with additional amount invoice or correction in Invoice.You would like to post this additional invoice with reference to the original PO and item. Subsequent Debit / Credit functionality allows you to capture this difference without canceling original invoice.
    Please check this link

  • B1358 error while posting inbound idoc with a FM

    Hi
    We are trying to post and inbound IDOC with the help of an rfc and eventually creating an invoice from a bdc wrapped in the RFC
    The idocs are successfully pushed to R/3 while they are not getting posted and the error code in we02 is as follows
    No status record was passed to ALE by the application
    Message no. B1358
    Diagnosis
    The application failed to return a status record to the ALE layer after the IDoc was processed.
    This is due to an error in the application function module which processed the inbound IDoc.
    Procedure
    If you wrote the application function module yourself, you need to change the program.
    If the function module in question is a standard application function module, you should consult SAP.
    Note: we are using a custom function module
    regards
    krishna

    Hi Krishna,
    I assume that your function module processing the IDOC does not follow the ALE/IDOC processing rules.
    Please check out the programming guidelines in the SAP Online Help under:
    <a href="http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/en/78/21758051ce11d189570000e829fbbd/frameset.htm">http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/en/78/21758051ce11d189570000e829fbbd/frameset.htm</a>
    Important are the parameters and tables that need to be returned, containing the correct IDOC processing status. Please take the IDOC processing quite serious in regards to complete Logical Unit of Works.

  • Transaction Posting Confirmation Message and Action Listener behaviour

    Hi, I have a scenario that a user is Posting a Transaction and when he press the “Post” Button a, confirmation dialog box should popup asking “Do you really want to Post the record ?”. If the user press “Yes” the record is further process and If the user press “No” then the transaction should not proceed.
    I have implemented the main screen(PostTransaction.java) and the popup confirmation window(ConfirmationWindow.java)
    Question 1 ) Why the code is not stoping in the Post Button Action listener as in JOptionPane, then how do i know that the user has selected "Yes" or "No" ?

    The MII Message listener is a queue. But when I understand you correctly, you do not want to process the messages immediately after arriving in the Listener.
    Maybe the categorization of messages is an option for you (see [Sap Help: Processing Rule Editor - Category|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_mii121/helpdata/en/43/e80b59ad40719ae10000000a1553f6/frameset.htm]. You can enter a category for the control recipe messages. The messages will then be placed in the Listener queue. You can use the [Message Services|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_mii121/helpdata/en/43/e80b59ad40719ae10000000a1553f6/frameset.htm] actions to read the categorized messages and process them as you need.
    In addition to Manoj, you may also use the [Queueing actions|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_mii121/helpdata/en/43/e80b59ad40719ae10000000a1553f6/frameset.htm] of MII, where you can queue xml contents.
    Hope this helps.

  • Transfer Posting upon UD of HU linked to inbound delivery

    I have configured the system to [create inspection lots upon packing inbound deliveries|http://help.sap.com/erp2005_ehp_04/helpdata/En/2d/584bcba70f11d2b44e006094b9b9dd/frameset.htm] and this is working well.  However, when making a usage decision on the inspection lots, the Inspection Lot Stock screen shows my HU with status "The handling unit <x> is assigned to delivery <y >and cannot be processed" (message qhu-006).  The UD can be saved but no material movement is carried out.
    This error is thrown by function module QHUG_GET_HU_QUANTITY, in which the HU status is checked and if status is not "In Transit", "Posted for GI", or "Deleted", then the packing object is checked.  If the packing object is an inbound delivery, the noted error message is thrown.
    Do I need to perform a subsequent function on the inbound delivery or associated HU before I can complete the UD / transfer posting?

  • Depreciation for subsequent acquisitions not posted in following month.

    Hello Experts,
    I had a problem with subsequest acquisition - after posting depreciation was not distributed equally during follwing months. As Paul and Markus advised per note 92260, the period control method should has been set on "06"(start of year). [here is link on that thread|depreciation calculation after acquistion; This was done and the depreciation amounts are now planned correctly, the only problem is the change in depreciation after acquistion reflected in month of change not in the following month as required.
    I mean: i.e. additional acquistion is done in 05/2009, but the depreciation should change from 06/2009 and so on...
    Can you help how to set up this in period control method?(OAVH, OAHS)

  • Vendor master - restricting posting and allowing payment run

    Hi,
    We have a list of Vendors which needs to be deleted.
    Our requirement is that we have certain Vendors who have open items, so our requirement to restrict further postings to the Vendor but allow the open items for Payment run.
    Is there a possibility in SAP for such facility?
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Srinivas

    Hi,
    Good morning and greetings,
    There is an option to achieve your requirement without blocking the vendor.
    Step No.1 : Establish a purchasing block for the vendor and that would mean no purchases can be made from the vendor and in turn no open items. Please go through the following link for more understanding.
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_erp2005vp/helpdata/en/53/c9866eca3711d2b494006094b9114a/frameset.htm
    Step No.2 : There are chances that user can still use FB60 to create invoice for vendor...to control that, create a validation rule in OB28 stating that no entry can be posted for the vendor code...if it is going to be for a set of vendors then create a set ID using GS01 for those set of vendors and call the set ID in OB28...This step would arrest the open item being created for the vendor.
    In this way, the vendor master would be still open for making payments for the existing open items, but no new open items would come for the vendor.
    Once the open items are cleared, delete the vendor once and for all.
    I am sure this would meet your requirement.
    Please reward points if found useful
    Thanking you
    With kindest regards
    Ramesh Padmanabhan
