Posting of Depreciation to Internal Order

Hello,
I have a scenario where Depreciation should be posted to Internal Order. I assigned the Internal Order in the Asset Master but still when I posted the Depreciation It is giving error stating that "Account requires an Assignment to a CO object"
I don't understand - Why the system not recognising the Internal order assigned in the Asset master as CO Object?
Please help to overcome this problem.

  • BAPI KPF6 POST PLAN COST FOR INTERNAL ORDER AND COST ELEMENT

    Hi all gurus,
    I would like to use in a custom report a BAPI/Function Module that help me to simulate KPF6 in order to post planning costs for internal order and cost element (layout 1-401).
    So the input should be:
    1) Version
    2) period from
    3) periodo to
    4) year
    5) internal order n.
    6) cost element n.
    7) value
    I found a lot of BAPI but don't know the correct one and how to use it (example how to fill the input value).
    Can anyone help me on that?
    Kind Regards

    In additio  to the previous I found the BAPI_COSTACTPLN_POSTPRIMCOST but don't know if it's the correct one and how to use it (some example fitting the my case will be very appreciated).
    If the quoted BAPI is correct.
    I tested it filling all fields as following:
    HEADERINFO:
    CO_AREA=FFCA
    FISC_YEAR=2008
    PERIOD_FROM=001
    PERIOD_TO=012
    DOC_HDR_TX='blank'
    INDEXSTRUCTURE:
    OBJECT_INDEX=000001
    VALUE_INDEX=000004 (hope this point at Interna Order)
    ATTRIB_INDEX=000000
    COOBJECT:
    OBJECT_INDEX=000001
    ORDERID=ZO53-08IMZ
    TOTVALUE:
    VALUE_INDEX=000004
    COST_ELEM=3224048
    FIX_VALUE= 200,0000
    DIST_KEY_FIX_VAL=2
    The Return table is set to 0. Nothing happens.....I suspect something related to indexstructure or index is wrong..
    Could anyone help me on that?
    Kind Regards

    Hi,
    You seem to be doing the right thing. Once you have posted the billing document. Can you please go to vf02 and check in the item detail tab if the internal order you have entered in va02 is there.

  • Posting Asset Acquisition to Internal Order

    Hello Gurus,
    We are using an Investment Order to collect the actual acquisition cost of an asset.
    ie, When we do F-90, we are assigning an Investment Order to the asset line item, but the problem is that after the posting of F-90, the value of the transaction does not reflect in the IO reports.
    Please advice, what could be the cause and if there is any way in which the transaction can be reflected in the IO reports.

    Hey Sachin,
    That was a really nice reply, thanks a lot.
    However the scenario here is a little different. Here all procurement expenses are being posted thru PR and PO to an AUC and in such PO a Cost Center [for real posting] and a statistical Internal Order[Investment Order type] is being assigned.
    So, here no settlement is taking place between the IO and the AUC.
    Now, at the end the AUC is being settled to the final asset.
    The users complaint [always complaining ; - )] is that when the AUC is being settled to the Final Asset, the value is not reaching the IO, where they have posted a budget and want to compare the actual with the budget.
    Looking forward to hear soon from you.
    Thanks Again

  • Posting of Perks with internal order

    Hello
    We have maintained cost distribution infotype with subtype 01 for all employees. The regular salary as well as perks are posted using this distribution. Now we have a requirement to post mobile expenses with internal order. In FI Side profit centre is maintained in internal order master, one to one relationship. In IT 27 multiple cost centres are maintained, each cost centre is having separate profit centres, So when we are trying to maintain the internal order in It 27, system is restricting us.
    If we maintain another record in It 27 with custom subtype with internal order and one cost centre which is being maintained in internal order master.How to link one particular wagetype with custom subtype of IT27, so that it will get posted with internal order.
    Thanks

  • Asset depreciation to internal order

    Hi all,
    Does anyone know if it is possible to post depreciation value of an asset to an internal order and how to achieve this?
    We want to use internal orders as cost objects for our car fleet. Per car we will create an internal order, and all costs will be posted against this internal order. I wonder however if it is possible to have depreciation costs also be posted in the internal order in order to be able to see all costs of a car in de internal order.
    Of course we will have our regular depreciation accounts in GL collecting depreciation costs bearing the depreciation costs, but I wonder if we can also post them statistically on the internal order.
    Thx, Paul

    Hi Paul,
    It's possible; just define in asset master data (AS02) in the 'Time-Dependent' tab, the internal order instead of cost centre. If you do not see the field, change the layout in the customization (IMG - Financial Accounting - Asset Accounting - Master Data - Screen Layout - Define Screen Layout for Asset Master Data).

  • Can not post FI document with internal Order

    Hi all,
    I work with SAP version ECC 6.0. When I post a FI document with internal order, I have a problem":
    "FI: Postings" is not allowed (ORD 400000)
    Message no. BS007
    Diagnosis
    The current status of object 'ORD 400000' prohibits business transaction 'FI: Postings'.
    Procedure
    To process business transaction 'FI: Postings', you first have to change the status of object 'ORD 400000' to allow the transaction 'FI: Postings'.
    This gives you an overview of the system and user statuses that affect the transaction. A transaction can only be executed if there is at least one status that allows it and there is no status that forbids it.
    Pls help me a.s.a.p. Thanks

    Hi,
    Go to t.code: KO02 and enter the internal order no and click on control data screen, here u required to change the status from CRTD to Release(by click on release button) and save the data, then u can able to post the transaction.
    Some times internal orders has been created but not released , if it is not released, system won't allow you to post any transaction by using this internal order.  If this internal order has been released, then u r able to post the document by using this internal order.
    all the best

  • Error while posting transaction to Internal order

    Hi
    We tried to make a transactions to the internal order, having available amount and we have posted the transaction less than the available amount yet received a yellow error message that the internal order budget almost exhausted. We checked the internal order budget it transaction KO22 and our prospective booking fit to the budget. But still we were unable to post because of the internal order budget. We could only solve to increase the budget with a bigger amount so we could reprocess the file.  Why is it always that the report shows budget is available but we are unable to post due to insufficient funds. Only on adding more funds we are able to post the transactions.
    Which is the correct report to view the budged is available and utilized.

    Venkat

  • Internal order - error message M7064 when trying to post GR in MIGO

    Hi All,
    When trying to post GR against an internal order in MIGO system gives error message M7064
    "Document 000009000030   does not contain any selectable items"
    I'm not familiar with CO orders. What shall I check and how? Could you please help?
    In KO03:
    Status of order: REL  DLV  GMPS SETC VCAL
    Allowed transactions: I can see e.g. RMRU, RMWA, RMWE, RMWF
    Isn't it possible hat somehow the status of the order controls it? But how?
    Please help.

    HI,
    I'm not sure if you got a chance to look at the long text of the error message, which shows the possible reasons and procedure to follow. You may want to check if any of these reasons applicable in your case..
    Diagnosis
    The document or document item entered cannot be adopted.
    Possible reasons for this are:
    The document items have already been processed
    (Suggest zero lines indicator set?).
    the document items have been deleted or are blocked.
    the document items have been created for a different plant.
    (for reservations only) movements are not yet allowed for the reservation items.
    (for reservations only) the document items are retrograde components of the order. These are posted using the order confirmations.
    A confirmation must exist for the document items.
    The document items must be released first.
    The document is an R/2 document.
    Procedure
    Make sure your entries are correct.
    If the system has already processed the total quantity, you can set the Suggest zero lines indicator. The system will suggest the quantity zero for the items that have already been processed.
    If you have entered a particular item, cancel the item. If you do not enter an item, the system searches all of the open items in the document.
    If the document is a purchase order, production order or a reservation, you can enter search criteria in the dialog box.
    You access the dialog box by choosing Enter with reference on the initial screen.
    If the document is an SAP R/2 document, you have to cancel it manually by entering the reversal movement type.
    Hope this helps.

  • Variance Post against in internal orders...

    Hi Experts kindly suggest me on the following requirement
    1.Firstly  informing Variance GL account had been created as a cost element
    2.When We making the MIRO against CAPEX Purchase Orders if any variances will come system will post these variances against interna orders
       through  OKB9 Default account assignment  settings, why because at the month end these variances(-/+) will be settled to respective assets for
      making capitalisation
    3.When making POs for some materials users have been giving the Account assignment categry 'Q" and WBS Elements in Accounts assignment tab,
       means materials procuring against project stock then converting into normal stock by using movement type 411(Q)
       in this case if any variances will come at the time of MIRO system is not posting aginst internal orders as explained in point 2, for this reason the user
       will find those variances and the make the manual JV at the month end.
    4.Project System is fully not implimented  and using for only creating WBS Elements to identify the departments
      My requirement is how to post these variances as per point 3 against internal orders by default
    NOTE: I tried WBS Element has created as statistical one , but system still not picking the internal order by default even though i made setting in OKB9
    for the variance GL Account

  • Posting labor confirmations against sales order and internal order

    Hi,
    We are looking for a functionality where in we want labor confirmations to be done against a sales order line item or to an internal order which is attached to the sales order line item. CS module is not in scope. So can anyone guide how can we have the functionality without CS module.
    Thanks

    Hello,
    Labour confirmation can be posted through IW41, if the order type is a PM order or service order. If you wan to post expenses against sales / internal order (FI) , get in touch with a

  • Internal Order - Detick revenue posting

    Hi
    We have created an Internal Order type (KOT2) couple of months ago allowing revenue posting. Now I want to detick the allowed revenue posting of that perticular Internal Order type and transport it to the production server.
    My question is if I detick the revenue posting and transport it to the production server, will it transport the rumber range interval assign to that perticular order type to the production server as well?
    Thanks
    Trishan

    Hi,
    Number range interval is never transported, if not included manually in the change request. So, you can proceed with your transport.

  • Internal Order Settlement Posting Date

    Hi gurus,
    Can I change the posting date on an Internal Order settlement or it has to be always the last day of the settlement period?

    Hi Susanna,
    Yes, you can change the posting date. On order settlement screen KO88 or KO8G, under extras you can find posting date where you can enter the new posting date however, it should be within the open period.
    Assign points if helpful
    Thanks,
    Manoj
