PostNetText hits the server twice for a single call

I'm having some serious problems with a Shockwave bug regarding the behavior of postNetText.
In a Shockwave test movie I've created, I'm calling an in-house web service as follows:
on makeRequest theRequestURL
gNetID = postNetText(theRequestURL, member("PostString").text, "UNIX", "ASCII")
end
where I've entered a valid request string in the text field "PostString".
When I run this in Safari/Mac, the server sees the request twice, in rapid succession.
When I run this in Firefox/Mac, the server sees the request just once.
In both cases, I do get a valid response back. (The problem is that one of the calls I make creates entries in a data table on the server, and the doubled request causes the entry to get created twice. Bad.)
What I've tried:
Compiled with just-installed Dir 11.5, but also had the problem with Dir 10.
Installed Shockwave 11.5, but also had the problem with Shockwave 10 and 11.
Tried with Safari 3 and 4, on Mac OS X 10.4.x and 10.5.x.
Ran the debugger to make sure the handler got called just once. (It does.)
I'm hoping this can get fixed, or a workaround suggested, since an ongoing issue with vanishing content when running Shockwave in Firefox on the Mac make that option unusable.

I am an administrator of iTunes U at the University of Minnesota.
Before transitioning new public site, we are trying to figure out how to put a logo image into RSS feeds.
We use our server to makes xml codes to create RSS feeds for podcasts.
We successfully put a logo image for a collection in a RSS feed, but putting a logo image for a single item did not work.
Below is the part of the xml code for the logo image for a single item, which is created by our server. I deleted other parts of xml code for your convenience.

Both did not work.

before we included the audio files, we added the images in iTunes.
Select the file, then go to File>Get Info, here you can add metadata, and in Artwork add an image.
Then upload this file to your server. Works for audio files anyways.
You don't see the image in the web podcast, but you do in iTunes after you download each item, in "Show item artwork" in lower left. Click on the image and it zooms out.

Except that user remaining users are not getting this error, They are working fine
i.e it is ESS & MSS Package all other application working fine , this iview came from Webdynpro .

I am trying to create a web project in Eclipse WTP europa. I do not have the bea weblogic server installed on my desktop. My organization has issues running it locally. I need to first create a project and then create a war and then deploy it on server.
I am going through the tutorial at the following website:

It says "To do this tutorial you will need a server runtime that is supported by WTP"
Also "During web application development, we will need a server runtime environment to test, debug and run our project".

MAC OS:Word cannot locate the server application for AcroExch.Document.7.objects

In MAC OS,installed Adobe reader ,When I double click a pdf file in Word2011,it shows"Word cannot locate the server application for AcroExch.Document.7.objects".what can i do to fix it?

I found out through someone else. The "how to" find the place to add it was more challenging.
Instructions:
1. Take the Webarchive file and save it on your computer (anywhere is fine).
2. Open MacMail and go to preferences>signatures and create a signature with any name and filler text. Close Macmail.
3. Open your finder, go to the "Library" folder. If you cannot view your Library folder, open up "terminal" and simply paste in: chflags nohidden ~/Library/
(this will allow you to view your Library folder from now on)
4. In your library folder, go to Mail>Mail Data>signatures
5.Copy the name of the signature file that is already in the signatures folder. It should look something like "079ADD83-A19F-4597-BBFC-4F35858894DE" After copying that name, delete the file.
6. Go to the webarchive file you saved and rename it the name of the file you just deleted. Then paste that into the library>Mail>Mail Data>signatures folder.
7. Open your macmail and see if it worked!

Down load fron the Internet OmniDiskSweeper (free) and open it. It will show you all of your files and the respective sizes.
In addition, click on your HDD icon in the upper right hand corner of your desk top with COMMAND I (I as in the letter i). What does it say about the space used and available.

How come my Ipad suddenly doesn't want to connect to the wi-fi anymore? The server stopped for a few minutes and when it came back on, my ipad lists it as available, but says it's impossible to join.

the connexion wi-fi was working fine. Suddenty, the server stopped for a few minutes and when it came back on, I had no trouble using the internet on my laptop, but myIpad won't connect. The wi-fi is listed, but it says impossible to connect. I tried turning off the ipad, but the problem is still there.

Go through some basic troubleshooting steps.
Settings>WiFi>Off, restart the iPad and turn WiFi on again.
Settings>WiFi>Tap the blue arrow next to your home network name>Forget this Network, Restart the iPad and then try to join your network again.
Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings. Restart the iPad and try to join your network again.
Finally, you can try rebooting the router. Unplug it for about 30 seconds and then plug it in again.

Device Enrollment - Error: The server certificate for "myserver" is invalid?

I am attempting to enroll my iPhone in the Lion Server Profile Manager. I have aquires and SSL certificate on my Lion Server but do not have a code signing certificate. From my iPhone, I can log into http://myserver.mydomain.lan/mydevices and log in using my AD credentials when I try to install the Device Enrollment Profile I am prompted with the following message: The server certificate for "https://myserver.mydomain.lan/devicemanagment/api/device/ota_service" is invalid.
Not sure how to get around this...
I am using AD with an extended schema and was not sure if MDM absolutely requires OD credentials or if I could use my AD credentials when enrolling a device. I was also unsure if I needed the code signing certificate which appears to be a bit pricey from Go-Daddy. I am just test bedding MDM and do not wish to go through the expense of a code signing certificate at this point.
Has anyone else encountered this problem?

Not sure if this will help, but we encountered the same problem. Our workaround was to click on the "Profiles" tab & install the Trust Profile first (not the Everyone Profile) and then enroll the device. That seemed to work, but I don't know what's causing that error message. Hopefully someone with more knowledge than me can answer that one.

Try again with the e mail. The message means you messed up the settings. Google you ISP and e mail settings. They will tell you the server name for incoming and outgoing. They will be different. Pay attention to port number and be careful to make sure you enter the password right. Since the rest of the internet works, your problem is just with the security on your ISP.

Same thing here. I'm getting very frustrated. When I swipe phone to open, and hit the phone icon, then make a call, most times it says "calling mobile" but then nothing happens. Then I try to end the call and hit the END button. Sure, it looks like the call disconnected, but as soon as I try to make another call, I see the same screen (the first called) and the words "calling mobile". The only way I can rememdy this, naturally, is powering off and restarting. But, c'mon...$300 for a phone that you have to power down between calls???
I've got the latest OS update, no jailbreak, or anything exotic on my 4s. What's more, when I try to make a call 2 out of 3 times, the dumb SIRI opens up and stops me from making the call. (and, yes, I have very carefully checked my process that I am not intentionally activating SIRI with my cheek.)
Again, $300 for all this in just trying to make a call?

reset your phonr by pressing the home and sleep buttons until you see the Apple logo, ignoring the slider. Takes about 5-15 secs of button holding and you won't lose any data or settings.
