Just drag files to the Trash & empty.
Your Mac needs adequate hard drive space to operate normally. How full can a drive be before it's too full? There is no hard and fast rule that says “X” amount or “%” of free drive space is needed. A low amount of RAM requires more drive space for Virtual Memory’s swap files. As a general rule, your available space should be 5GB as an absolute minimum as it generally requires that much free space to perform an Archive and Install of Mac OS X and still preserve some free space for VM swap files. What size HD do you have?

Assuming you are in a location that supports re-downloading of TV shows, you can download any purchased TV shows from the purchased option in the quick links section in the top right-hand corner of iTunes on your computer. -
I get error message: not enough space to download when I try to buy a tv series on Itunes. It tells me to delete photos or videos to make space, but I have no photos and videos. Help?
I would guess that a TV series takes up a fair amount of storage capacity. It is just a standard message I think that may indicate that you are actually running low on storage space.
If you go to Settings>General>About how many GBs are specified as being available? If you are low on space maybe deleting some apps may help. -

To delete apps, tap and hold on any app icon until all of them begin to wiggle, then tap the X. Apps without an X are built in and cannot be deleted.
It is far more likely however, that content, not apps, are taking up the space. Check your photo, movies and music for content that can be temprorarily deleted. Make sure manual back then up if they are not in itunes or otherwise accounted for. -
I get the message 'Your document couldn’t be published because there isn't enough space', when I try to upload this Pages document from my Mac. First, you wait while it converts it to .pdf, then to Word, then you get this message. I've got 25G storage space. What's it being used for? And more importantly, how do I store this doc on iCloud so I can use it? PS, I'm running Lion, and IOS5, all brand-squeaking updated.

That fixed mine. I have a sneaking suspicion it has something to do with pulling out from USB without ejecting for itunes/USB bus. Just like on any USB drive, open files will leave a mark behind if not closed properly. Honestly I have no idea why it does it. -

How do I delete the tv shows that I purchased before now to make room for more download purchases? I want to purchse two segments of downtown Abbey that I didn't see but I get a message telling me yo delete previous tv shows or pictures.
You can tap and hold down on the the TV show icon in the Videos app and an X will pop up to delete the shows.
You may also want to connect the iPad to your computer and transfer the purchases to iTunes before you delete them so that you can store them on your computer's iTunes. Connect the iPad and launch iTunes. Right click on the iPad name on the left side under "devices" and select Transfer Purchases. You can also do this from the iTunes menu - File>Transfer Purchases.
If you live in the U.S. the UK, Canada or Australia - you can download purchased TV shows again for free in the purchased tab of iTunes as long as you use the same Apple ID that you bought the shows with. -
Can someone please tell me why when i order an app on my sons ipod, do I get charged twice for it? When I tried do report a problem with the charge, it said that I can not get a refund on that item. I am trying to remove files to get my computer to run better. In the storage summery it shows a category OTHER. What are these file and how can I remove them. I went through my downloads and documents and copied them and then removed them. What else could they be??
They are files that cannot be put in the other categories. They are documents, email, cache, temp, OS files, etc.

If the photos were synced from your computer then with your iPad connected to and selected on the left-hand side of your computer's iTunes, then on the right-hand side on the Photos tab select an empty folder and sync just that to the iPad and the currently synced photos should be removed from the iPad - that won't affect your iPhone unless you also do the same de-selection when it's connected.
If the photos were taken with the iPad, copied to it via the camera connection kit, or saved from emails/websites etc then you can copy them off the iPad first (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083) and you can then delete them directly on the iPad in the Photos app via the icon of the box with the arrow coming out of it -

3) Quit all applications to ensure nothing is actively using Flash. You can even do the next step while booted to Safe Mode to make sure.

My iphone storage is full due to my large photo library. As you are clearly aware, it is important for you to have backups of your important data, including all of these photos you are currently keeping on your iPhone. While it is possible to use iTunes or iCloud to do backups of your iPhone, the problem becomes how to access those backups if you have deleted the photos from your iPhone. Once you have done the backup and then removed the photos from the iPhone, the only way to access the photos is by restoring the backups to the phone.
