POWL does not update Expense Reports for Approval

Hi,
I am about to replace the UWL with POWL and the configuration have been made successfully when it comes to leave approval and expense reports but the Expense reports for approval refuses to update itself (no items in the list)
If I go to Transaction code SWI5 am I able to see all u201Cwork items to be processedu201D . From this list I can see three Task IDs
TS12300097      Approval Process (1 work Item)
TS31000007     CATS: Approval by Supervisor (1 work item)
TS99300002     Approve travel expenses (2 work Items)
In transaction POWL_COCKPIT in the maintain POWL Type details I have flagged the Sync. Call for FITV_POWL_TRIPSFORAPPROCAL_EXP. I have also assigned same Task ID as Approve travel expenses (TS99300002) to POWL in transaction SM31 table IBO_C_WF_TA_P_SC.
Result is that the list is empty in the POWL but if I go to UWL Authorize list it shows 2 items which is correct.
Please help me out here because I have searched a lot for a solution but havenu2019t found anything.

Remember Employee list is the key! Did you maintain it?
The employee list can also be maintained centrally in the R/3
backend for all users (managers). Therefore please use the
transactions FPB_MAINTAIN_PERS_M or FPB_MAINTAIN_PERS_S.
With this the object list is done for the POWLs.
If no emplyoee list exists for the manager, then there will be no items.
POWL is based on personalization framework where every user has its own
set of queiries and types, which are assigned using TX POWL_QUERYR or
POWL_TYPER which is role based. Similarlaly POWL_QUERYU and POWL_TYPEU
for user based.
If you want to delete a query from all users, please delete a entry from
POWL_TYPER or POWL_QUERYR.

Once you delete the entry, please run the report POWL_d01.Please check

    from Exclaimer event logs on the Hub servers. the sent items update is successfully updating clients. below is the screenshot of an event for one email message which is successfully updated from exclaimer but it did not update on the client outlook while
    using cached mode.
    Since the issue is with multiple users, I am searching for a centralized solution

    I'm pretty much sure that this problem is related with some version mismatch on their s/w on exchange 2013 which is causing this issue.

  • MR 11 not updating the invoicing for services

    Hi All,
    I have a scenario where the client uses MR11 for clearing the invoices.
    He does not use MIRO for invoicing.
    During our observation it is found that using MR11 does not update the invoices for services but the invoices for the material received is updated while checking the reports like ME2N.
    I have checked the Service based IV and the GR based IV in the  invoice tab of PO.
    Can you please advice me as to why this is happening only in case of services.

    Actually I am looking for the IR reduction and not the GR reduction.
    The note you have mentioned applies for GR reduction.
    Also we are in the ECC 6 environment.

    I followed the below note and added a report to my SSHR menu.
    How To Add A Report To A 11i Self Service Menu [ID 334847.1]
    In my report , I have a condition in the query
    and a.created_by =apps.fnd_profile.value('USER_ID')
    When the report is submitted as a request , it works fine., however the same report when called from the self service page does not accept any value for apps.fnd_profile.value('USER_ID') .
    Is there a workaround to handle this problem.

    I had already tried the option apps.fnd_global.USER_ID too.
    However it does not accept the value for apps.fnd_global.USER_ID.
    We want to call the reports in SSHR using oaf and at the same time the records that are pending for approval created by the employee should only be visible.

  • SSRS 2012 (SP Integrated) report on SP 2013 PerformancePoint Dashboard: when too many filter items selected together report does not update anymore!

    I am having a situation with SSRS 2012 (SP-integrated) report rendered on SP 2013 PerformancePoint Dashboard using linked PerformancePoint (PP) filters.
    The report works fine as long as too many PP filter items are not selected at the same time. When gradually selecting more items from the filter, the report updates itself until more than a sepecific numer of filter items are selected - the report simply
    does not update itself anymore. This "specific number of filter items", when hit, generates the following error in ULS:
    An exception  occurred while rendering a Web control. The following diagnostic information might help to determine the cause of this problem:  System.UriFormatException: Invalid URI: The hostname could not be parsed.    
     at System.Uri.CreateThis(String uri, Boolean dontEscape, UriKind uriKind)    
     at System.UriBuilder..ctor(String uri)    
     at Microsoft.PerformancePoint.Scorecards.ServerRendering.ReportViewControl.ReportUrl(SqlReportViewData sqlReportViewData)

    I already know that the cause of the issue is in the length of the query (perhapse RDL or MDX) that the browser is supposed to pass on to the instance of SSAS.
    Some people had suggested a workaround that was suitable for older versions or non-integrated SSRS (see here: http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/sqlserver/en-US/cb6ede72-6ed1-4379-9d3c-847c11b75b32/report-manager-operation-cannot-run-due-to-current-state-of-the-object).
    Knowing this, have already done the changes suggested (adding the lines suggested to SP's web.config for Reporting and the web.config of the site on which report is rendred) at no avail, just to make sure.
    I have rednered the same report on the same dashboard using SSRS filters and there is no problem; it just works fine. This has to be a bug in PP that is causing this.
    Has anyone had the same problem with SSRS 2012 (SP-integrated) report rendered on SP 2013 PP dashboard using PP filter? Any fixes or workarounds?

    Hello everybody.
    I confirm the issue in Service Pack 1 Release 2.
    Poor workaround is to remove the repeated infromation from the member keys (in SSAS they can be really long).
    The issue seems to be specific to SSRS: Excel Services works well with the same filter.

  • Approval Workflow does not update the Content Approval status if started automatically

    Content Approval on site pages. It works fine when I set it to be started manually (by using
    Allow this workflow to be manually started by an authenticated user with Edit Item permissions
     option) and on the completion of the workflow the
    Content Approval status is updated accordingly. But when I set it to be started automatically (by using
    Start this workflow when a new item is created
     / Start this workflow when an item is changed
    options), it does not updates the Content Approval status. Note that I’ve set the
    Update the approval status after the workflow is completed (use this workflow to control content approval)

    It is recommended to select "Start this workflow to approve publishing a major version of an item" when you want to use the workflow to manage content approval for
    a library.
    According to the Notes for “Enable Content Approval” option in
    this reference:
    If you are using this Approval workflow to manage content approval (moderation) for a library, and you selected the Start this workflow to approve publishing a major version
    of an item check box on the Add a Workflow page..
    If you did not select the Start this workflow to approve publishing a major version of an item check box on the Add a Workflow page because you do not want this workflow to
    be the default content approval workflow for a library, you can select the Update the approval status (use this workflow to control content approval) check box to make this workflow a secondary content approval workflow that specific users can
    start manually.
    That means having an approval workflow start automatically when a document is changed or created is not a good practice when you want to use the workflow to manage
    content approval for a library. You should either select "Start this workflow to approve publishing a major version of an item" or give users the option to start the workflow manually at the time they want to submit for an approval.

  • "Arrange new window" (thumbnail window for digital painting) does not update

    I have an issue with Photoshop CC V2014.2.1 release where if I open a new document, then create a duplicate window of that document (Window->Arrange->New window for "Document.psd") if I am working on the original window, the duplicate window does not update any brush strokes until I select the duplicate window or perform an undo command.
    On previous versions (CS4 & CS5) the 2nd window would update each brush stroke automatically.
    I have looked for options to auto-update the 2nd window, but can't find anything. Is this a bug or am I missing an option?

  • My firefox beta 12 using Linux platform does not update to firefox RC1 via the "check for update" function. I know windows' beta version had this fixed, when would Linux get similar support ?

    Current firefox version : Firefox 4 beta 12
    Issue : does not update to RC 1 using the check for update feature.
    Background : previously downloaded beta 8 and then it automatically updated to beta 12 using update features but for RC1, it does not.
    I know users under Windows platform had same problem but was resolved and they can now update via check for update feature.
    Please implement for Linux users too.

  • Batch Split in OBD & billed for the entire Quantity .RG1  register does not update the excise values

    I am new here . We have batch split in Delivery and 601 happens for the individual batches and billing we bill for the entire quantity . Hence the RG1 does not update the excise values for the batches and it is showing as zero (upon extraction in J2I6). Upon research through the program the latest note which i presume is patched
    The latest note is N158234 which does not show in the program but seems have been patched considering we are using the Latest version of SAP .
    As you see above in the billing we have billed for the whole quantity but RG1 does not update for the since the batches are zero .
    My programmer says because of some note related to cancellation where it says about values H & J in vbfa table and due to which program does not go through the Note for the batch split .
    Now i have checked few other projects in my company and they all seems to be following the program . So i am wondering whether my process or some customization is missing .
    Sales order (no batch determination)  , in delivery the batches are picked through wm to and batch split happens in the delivery . Then billling for the whole quantity . We have automatic excise invoice creation enabled so no J1IIN .

    How about the other projects' values in VBFA where your techinical team is guessing some issue.  Have you compared this?
    Since you have already the note 158234 implemented in your system, ideally, you should not face any issue.

    I have an urgent issue related to workflow, it is like a lot of document that should report for approval, has not been reported since many days. Now when i am checking the log of the documents it is showing a SWW_WI_ERROR_MESSAGE_SEND_S in technical details of the agent list.
    Can any one help me for the same?

    What should the step that fails do? I assume the failure occurs in a customer-developed BOR object type, so please give a bit more information about where the problem occurs.

    First, 10.5.7 is not showing up in software update. I downloaded both the delta and combo 10.5.7 updates and they both give me "This volume does not meet the requirements for this update." I've done all the requisite stuff, permissions, volume check, reset PRAM, etc. I've downloaded the updates several times, and they worked on my 2008 iMac and 2007 Macbook Pro, so I know they work. I've searched and searched and can't find a resolution. It's as if there is some signature written to my boot volume that is preventing this update. Applecare was of no help either. Any ideas?

    Hi! Im new to this forum and i really dont know if this is the right place for me to say this but i really need some help! I have a MAc OS x 10.5.7 and had bootcamp installed on it so i could run both windows and mac! Over the last few days ive recieved a trojan virus on my windows... so i deleted my partition on mac so i basically just had Mac... now i am trying to reinstall my partition but disk utility is saying that i have an invalid volume free block count as it should be 41189365 instead of 41182017....argh! ive read the help stuff on it and it suggests me removing everything off my mac... but will i need 2 still have the mac install disc 1 to hand? as i have currently misplaced this and im ripping my hair out! Ive never had problems with my Imac until now and im really worried! I could really do with the help! Thanks Sam

  • Report Designer is slow and does not update info.

    I am working with Report Designer.
    It is running very slow. For first few minutes it runs fine and after that it slows down.
    It is only Report Designer which is slow- Query Designer, BEx Analyzer and other applications are running fine.
    Does anyone have any idea please?
    I also have some other issue with Report Designer.
    I created queries in Query Designer and then formatted in report Designer. Now they want to add one more column or row in query. I add that in Query designer but it does not show in report designer.
    It does show under Query Element but I donu2019t how to populate whole row and column.
    Can someone assist me that how to bring in report designer?

    That may be the new Mountain Lion "sandbox" protective software kicking in, possibly, because ML "thinks" that App doesn't meet ML's new strict security requirements.   A common phenomena.  If you feel the 3rd party App is really OK, you can override this feature and install the new App by holding down the Command key when you click to install the new App.  That's one possibility for the error message appearing.  If not, another possibility is that that Developer Preview software package requires some previous piece of software be installed prior to downloading this Preview.  You would have to check the Facebbok websiste's Developer Forums for help if this is the case.
