Pre Bankruptcy FICO Steps?

Hi Experts
My client is filing for Pre packaged Bankruptcy in US. After that a new company code has to be created and start again from fresh. They do have Asset accounting involved in FI module.
Can anybody tell me what are the things that need to be done in SAP Finance module before Bankruptcy filing in regard to assessment and Configuration?
What i know on this case is :
- Shortened fiscal year has to be created
- Asset Depreciation Revaluation
   What happens in Controlling?
I really appreciate your response.
Thanks in advance

Yes. You are right. This Profile will not over right the User Master Record. It is given on the document.

I need to creat master data from scratch in a newly installed sap system.

    Dear,
SAP FICO Functional means functional knowledge, by which one can proceed in terms of functional process with FICO area as well as FICO configuration knowledge.
Whereas SAP FICO Technical consultant may be an ABAPER, who have short of knowledge of FICO configuration and functional knowledge as well and can proceed for technical jobs e.g. reports development, client requirement, system modification etc.
Please refer this link you will get all details there,

  • Pre requisites and steps for BI content installation.

    Hi ,
We need to install Complete BI content in our production system , I am aware of the steps to be exeuted in SPRO but wanted to know the complete procedure step by step .
    1) what are the pre requisites and checks before and after doing activation in SPRO .
    2) If we already have some BI content installed and now we do complete reinstallation, will that create any issue .
3)Can we do activation directly in Production ?
    Thanks,
    Neetika.

Hello Neethika, for your second question
    2) If we already have some BI content installed and now we do complete reinstallation, will that create any issue
If the object which you are going to install is already active and if it is customised, and if you go for reinstallation, new standard object will reinstall the already customised existing oblect. However, if you select the check box MATCH (X) or COPY and do the installation, object will be activated with retainging customisation. so there will be no need to customise it again.
It is always recommended to go for manual collection of objects rather then automatic collection, because there might be wierd chances that all the objects might not get activated and this will cause a problem while you move the same from DEV to PRODUCTION.
feel free write if any further clarication need
    Thanks

  • What are the pre-requisistes before stepping into MI?

    Hello All,
Am gonna start learning SAP MI on few days now.
Wanted to know what are the pre-requisistes before learning this technology?
In other words, is it a must to know J2ME & XML very well?
    Awaiting Reply.
    Thanks and Warm Regards,
    Ritu

    Hi Ritu,
For MI applications , we have to do application component developments in both ABAP and Java.
In general MI Application = Java Component + ABAP component.
Java component means , which is running on the client device , we are accessing the MI applicatiion throught the Java component .
For running this Java components , we need proper runtimes.
Currently we have JSP Runtime and AWT Runtime .
JSP Runtime supports JSP applications and , AWT Runtime supports AWT applications.
If u have basic knowledge for application developments in JSP and AWT , then no problem with Java component development.(there is no need to know in detail about J2ME and XML).Basic knowledge of XML is necesssary for Client side application development.
Refer these helps for Client Side application development.

  • What pre-upgrade safety steps

Hi all, I'm intending to upgrade my 24-inch iMac from Leopard 10.5.8 to SL. I run Time Machine so obviously before I start I'll say "backup now" then unmount and unplug the TM drive. I don't seem to be using any of the stuff described in the wikidot site (http://snowleopard.wikidot.com/) but I need perl and MySQL. I would use Carbon Copy Cloner to create a bootable copy before the upgrade but I haven't got an available disk. I'd like to keep the TM drive dedicated and it's not that great for space anyway. If I go ahead w/o a CCC clone - which many must do - then if there is trouble would there be a path back to 10.5.8 via the install media plus the TM stuff? I assume if so it would be laborious - but relatively unlikely to have to be done. I'd be grateful for any thoughts. TIA - Terry.

I would advise against erasing your only backup in order to change it from a TM backup to a CCC clone. That's a highly dangerous thing to do. If you've only got one backup, that's not particularly safe (better than nothing, though) and your first priority should be creating a second backup on a new hard drive. It does happen that, right when someone needs their one and only backup, they discover there's something wrong with it, and all their data is gone. If you've got limited funds available, there's less to be gained from upgrading to SL than there is to be lost if something goes wrong with your current backup system. If you insist on upgrading with only the one backup, note that a Time Machine backup can restore your system just as well as a CCC clone, assuming that you have a Mac OS X install disk matching the system under which the TM backup was made and you haven't excluded anything.
Once you've dealt with the backup situation, before upgrading you should verify your hard drive with Disk Utility (don't install an update or upgrade on a damaged drive!) and you should disconnect all peripherals. Then, assuming your current system is working just fine, install 10.6 right on top of it.

Physical movement of SAP Server and Pre,Post steps ?
    Hello Experts,
Need your help here..  Our Data Center is moving to Different Place  , hence IM team proposed Physical movement of SAP Server to New Location.
In our Landscape we have SRM 4.0, XI 3.0 & BW 3.5 , ITS 620 and Requisites Servers available . As these are out of  SAP support we don't have expert for ITS and Requisite Server installation and configutaiton.
Please  please  tell me Will this process work ? if yes then what are odds n cons in this procedure , Pre and Post Steps need to perform.
Please help me as early as possible as we need to take decision ASAP.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Raja.
    Net-weaver Consultant.

    Hi Raja,
You need to take care of following
    1) Ensure that IP address and hostname are retained in the new DC. If IP is changing you need to take a note of all the RFC and JCO connections where IP is used and replace them with hostname.
    2) For ITS you can re-install and re-configure. It is not a big task.
Make a note which all places ITS is configured.
    3) You need to have full offline backup of the system before movement.
    4) You need to plan for some System integration testing post movement to ensure things are working post DC migration.
Some useful information can also be found in http://christian.bergeron.voila.net/DC_Guide/Data_Migration_Methodology_for_SAP_V01a.doc
    Hope this helps.

  • Next Steps Suggestions

I recently applied for 3 cards, AMEX PRG, Chase Freedom & Capital One Venture. I was approved for all 3 in a span of 1-2 days.  I would like opinions regarding what to do next to boost my FICO scores: Pre App FICO Scores:1. Experian: 712, 1 inq.2. Transunion:  726, 0 inq.3. Equifax:  731, 0 inq. All scores in Pre App above reflect 1 secured BOA, 1 30-day late 6yrs old Post App FICO Scores1. Experian: 676,  4 inq 2. Transunion:  726,  2 inq,3. Equifax:  731,  1 inq All scores in Post App above reflect 1 secured BOA, 1 30-day late 6yrs old.  They do not reflect new AMEX, Chase & Cap 1 as of yet.  I assume they will appear in the next few weeks.  As you can see, my Experian took the biggest hit.  I had 3 inq hit in addition to 2 very old positive installment loans fell off my credit reports during the same week of the inqs.  Interesting how Eq & Trans were not affected at all.  Doesn't really make sense and fair.  I could understand if the old credit information was no longer being used to calculate FICO scores.  Evidently, they still are considering the steep drop in my Experian.  Unless the 3 additional inqs caused it.  I really don't know. Questions:A.  Will my FICO scores increase when the AMEX, Chase & Cap 1 hit the CRA'S? B.  What are my next steps to increase my FICO score to high 700's to low 800's?  Keep util under 10% etc etc?  On time payments?  Any suggestions would be appreciated. Cheers,Mohawk

Thanks to reading and applying suggestions in this forum, I've been able to raise my Fico scores to 755ex, 741tu, and 750, eq. I have a secured Credit with PNC bank with a zero balance and $2,500.00 limit. I also have an old 7 % high rate mortgage with Wells Fargo I would like to refinance. I'v had two (2) hard credit inquiries in the past two years with the most recent one in 12/2014. My concern is my FICO scores taking a major hit if I 1) apply and convert the secured PNC Bank Card to a regular PNC Credit Card or I apply to refinance my high rate mortgage. Given my current FICO scores, what would be the recommended best next step that will harm my FICO scores the least?Welcome to the forums! That is your only credit card?  Let a small balance report on it and then go refinance that mortgage.  Finances >>>>>>>> FICO and there's absolutely no reason to be carrying a 7% mortgage in this market. FICO really doesn't matter in this case, get the house refinanced.   After that's sorted I'd recommend going and opening at least 2 more cards, and then converting the PNC card later if you wish; short term negative, long term better to have a thicker file.

  • Problems with the Oracle Pre-Load actions in an homogeneous system copy

    Hi,
I am trying to do a NW04 homogeneous system copy, and I am having troubles with the ABAP copy. (Oracle Pre-Load Actions step)
I am with the database specific procedure, so I am creating the new system until the sapinst asks me to bring an online-offline backup and the control file, then the sapinst tries to recover the database by himself, but he finds trouble:
Error: CJS-00084 SQL statement or script failed.<br>DIAGNOSIS: Error message: ORA-01194: file 1 needs more recovery to be consistent Ora-01110: data file 1: 'oracle/XIE...'
If I try to do the recover manually I have to make the usual:
    RECOVER DATABASE UNTIL CANCEL USING BACKUP CONTROLFILE;
    CANCEL
    ALTER DATABASE OPEN RESETLOGS;
If I follow the sapinst.log I find that the sapinst tries to recover the database but fails with the above message and:
ORA-01589: must use RESETLOGS or NORESETLOGS option for database open
    Yes, that's true, if I make it manually I have to open the database with the 'alter database open resetlogs';
the problem could be fixed modifying the run_control.sql statement that the SAPINST creates at the working directory, but no modification to that statement is possible because the SAPINST deletes and creates the statement IMMEDIATELY before executing it, so what can I do?
    Many thanks
    Mario

    SOLVED
for your info, the run_control.sql is UNMODIFIABLE, but I could modify the CONTROL.SQL that he calls, so I recovered manually the Database, and the CONTROL.SQL was a simply CONNECT and then OPEN DATABASE, just like that, so I could continue with my installation, another point for us against the damned SAPINST !!!

  • Error in Fork Step causing issue in generating next work items

    All,
We have ECC 6.0 with the following SP:
    SAP_BASIS     700     0012     SAPKB70012     SAP Basis Component
    SAP_ABA                     700     0012     SAPKA70012     Cross-Application Component
I have this strange issue. In one of my custom workflows, i am using a Fork step with 02/ 02 necessary outcomes. In branch 1, i am sending a mail to a user's e-mail id. In branch 2, i have 3 activity steps for another user. Step 1 is to display an invoice and step 2 is a user decision to apprve/deny this invoice.
I know that during runtime, at the Fork step, the work item for branch 1 and the 1st work item for activity step 1 in branch 2 get generated almost simultaneously(though with some small time difference). This is OK. But the issue is, when the sendmail in branch 1 errors out due to some error, and when step 1 is finished successfully by another user, the work item for 2nd activity step in branch 2 is not getting created.
As i understand, in the Fork, the 2 branches, execution should be independent of each other, that means, the work item creation and execution of branch 1 and 3 steps in branch 2 should be happening independently. But, this doesn't seem to be the case.
I understand when the sendmail in branch failed, the wflow is set to 'Error' Status. But there is already an open workitem for step 1 of branch 2. When this workitem is completed successfully, I expect the work item for 2nd step should get generated. But this is not happening. But, when i restart the whole workflow using SWPR, it generates the witem for 2nd step in branch 2. And still the wflow is in 'Error' status.
When the user finishes the 2nd workitem of branch 2, the next work item for 3rd step is not getting generated. Instead i needed to restart the whole wflow again and this time, it generated the 3rd witem in ranch 2.
To my understanding, when a Fork is there, if i specify 02/02 outcomes necessary, these 2 branches should go in parallel, both creation and execution of workitems, until they are joined. And at this point, if the whole Fork step is successful, then workflow will proceed further with steps below the Fork. Shouldn't this be the case ?
Anybody had similar issue? Pl share your thoughts on this. I'd really appreciate if somebody can clarify whats going on in the above case and how to fix this.
    Thank you in advance

    venu

    Hi Arghadip,
Thanks for your reply. You said
"When a Workflow goes into error the processing should stop whether it is in same branch or in different.".
If this is correct, then as i explained earlier, when i restart the workflow without fixing the errored branch, then also, the next work item should not be created..Right ? But, it is. I didn't fix the errored branch but simply restarted the workflow. Then it created the witem for 2nd step, in the branch 2 that is not errored.
How can this be, the branch 1 is still in ERROR status only. So, can you pl clarify if something else might be going on here.
Also, fixing the issue is fine. But, the SendMail step in branch 1 is just an information only and per business requirement, this should not be holding up the approval process. And if we don't process the invoice in time, just because of some informational mail errored out, this will not be a feasible solution to the client,Right ? That's the whole reason i am using Fork step, so that they both proceed parallelly (independently).
If step 1 is a pre-requisite for step 2, then it makes sense to fix error in step 1 so that we can proceed with step 2.
    Any other thoughts on this.....

    venu

  • Step status, number of steps and result container

    Hi All.
I have several problems with my OI.
    1. I am using my own execution viewer, its build up on UIMessages, that is executed from my custom step types as a poststeprun. The problem is that when poststeprun is executed then the status expression is not executed. I can see one solution, that is to evaluate the status myself in the routine that writes to the OI. I think this is not a good solution, because it takes time, and status expression will do exactly the same afterwards. So any other ideas ?
    2. Is there any way that I can count how many steps there is in my seq, this number should be used to "count down" in a progressbar on the OI.
    3. How do I "enable" more variables to be included in the result container, I have my own "test result container" that I want to be included in the normal result cluster, so I afterwards can get the results in the processmodel. I tried to build something in SeqFilePostStep, but the problem is that this is called after every step... so you need a lot of controlling to take care of while and for loops.....

    Hi,
Due to the execution order within a step's execution a post step substep will be called directly after the code module itself has run.
You could evaluate the status as part of the step if you wanted, or you could move to using a post step callback in the sequence, then you could get a handle to the step, and in theory (I've not tried this) use the step's adapter to get to the adapter API and find out the path to a custom substep (rather than a post step substep) and run this, thus giving you a generic method of calling into the step after the status is resolved.
Counting the number of steps in a sequence is part of the sequence object (such as runstate.sequence) where you can call a method (use an activex/COM adapter to call an action step) and call the method GetNumSteps (this is based per step group, so run it out 3 times)
There are a few methods of including more variables into the resultlist - try looking at the AddExtraResult method of the Execution object, used in the process model sequencefile (from the sequential model, go to the test uuts entry point, and open the sequence call setup result settings (8 or so down in the main step group). That calls into the ModelSupport.seq and the Setup Result Settings sequence. In there are two pre-conditioned action steps that say if there is a property of the step called "x" then add it to the step result element in the resultlist array and call it "res x".
    Hope that helps
    Thanks
