Pricing bug?

Hi,
I'm interested in purchasing this software, but I'm finding some real oddities in the pricing. I clicked on the join button in the upgrade section of my creative cloud, made my selection (one month auto-renew membership, no upgrade - all of my previous versions are too old) which was marked at $74.99 and was then prompted to sign in.
At this point, I was presented with the pricing in my local currency (euro) and it appeared as “€74,99 per month, plus tax” (the comma there in the currency is definitely a localization bug - it should be a decimal point as it is for the US). Is this sign-substitution a bug?
The fact that it's the same figure leads me to think the signs have been substituted rather than the currency being converted on some bizarre system (a 30% mark-up just to move it a few thousand miles seems a bit mad, after all ) – hence my wondering if it’s a glitch in the system and what the true price is.

The issue is getting worse. Is there any update?
ISSUE ONE = we are receiving invoices from customers that have a mix of consumer and wholesale pricing when the customer is ticked as 'wholesale'
ISSUE TWO = some wholesale customers have no tax on their orders (yet we have the destination state option on our checkout page that adds on tax) and they should be paying tax * Not charging people tax is illegal and we can be fined by the ATO! People even end up in jail for not paying tax.
ISSUE THREE =some wholesale customers have 1 item with tax on their orders and the rest without tax (also using destination state option).
I've checked the pricing of the items and they are correct.
I've checked the wholesale customers are marked wholesale and they are.
I've checked the tax codes and they are correct.
I can't understand how one item can have tax and others can't when the customer is a wholesaler so tax should get added and pricing should be wholesale.
Can you please escalate this. Doesn't BC understand this is a serious issue??

  • Bug - Wholesale AND Retail pricing bug on one order?

    Hi,
    Has anyone else had this issue? SA wholesale customer has done an order on our website where:
    1) They have logged into wholesale zone and have wholesale pricing applied
    2) Their order has some products in wholesale pricing but ALSO some pricing in consumer / retail pricing.
    3) They chose a retail shipping option yet they are a wholesale customer and should have seen different shipping rates.
    Getting worried about BC - this is a really serious issue. Surely the order wouldn't be able to process as wholesale AND retail pricing on one order? Surely as a wholesale customer they should only see wholesale shipping?
    Any know a fix or had this happen to them?

  • Question: Cannot afford cloud pricing (am retired).  Have a bug in Dreamweaver 5.

    OK, so I have been a customer of Adobe for many years.  I am now retired and cannot afford the cloud structure pricing.  I have several bugs in Dreamweaver 5, one of which replicates the editable region so there is a duplicate after the first one.  I've managed to migrate my site to HTML5 without the benefit of Dreamweaver 6 (Ouch).  Am I stuck up the river without a paddle?

    Stuck?  No, I don't think so.  DW CS5 still works.

  • New VMS/IPC boxes - speed and pricing

    For the most part, I've been a very happy FiOS customer. The internet side has gone out exactly once in the year I've had the service, and it was restored within an hour. TV has dropped out twice, both times very late at night (I assume for head-end maintenance). Reliability is better than every other ISP I've ever had, combined.
    That said..
    I wanted to snag another STB for the house - found out the local stores had all been closed (I can understand why from the financial aspect, but it was still a shock pulling up to my old store to pick up another STB.. and finding a "for lease" sign, when I'd been by there 2 months prior), so I looked at options online. The new VMS + IPC boxes looked promising, especially since they added the ability for the entire house to pause, rewind, schedule recordings, etc, from any TV - instead of only the DVR being able to do that (though the old boxes could stream recordings from the DVR).
    My chief complaint so far - while the VMS box itself is responsive, the IPC boxes are painfully slow to respond to anything. Picture quality is fantastic, but using them feels, to put it in nerd terms, like using a Pentium 90 with Windows XP and 128MB RAM. They take 5+ to respond to anything more than a channel change (and even that takes up to 3 seconds), and frequently "lose" remote key presses if you try to, say, hit guide, hit page down, then try to arrow down to the channel that you know is on the next page. It literally feels like a throwback to the earliest digital set top boxes from Comcast/Time Warner - the first ones with built-in TV listings in the mid 1990s. The speed is right on par with them; the only thing faster right now is they don't shut down for 30 minutes a day to update the TV listings.
    I've gone through the built-in diagnostics on the boxes to verify signal levels - they're decent (not perfect, but this is a 20 year old house with mostly original coax), but we have no pixelation or picture drop-out, so I would think they could carry the basic stuff between the IPC boxes and VMS pretty easily. The router certainly has no problem handling the 75/35 on the same coax (speedtest shows 85-90 down, 35-40 up, with a ~5ms ping, no matter which cable outlet it's plugged into)..
    My other complaint - why did Verizon move to "rooms" for pricing? I thought I was getting a DVR plus 3 STBs (since I ordered 3 STBs and asked for a DVR), instead of a VMS + 2 STBs - and I'm paying much more than I did for the old DVR + 2 STBs.
    With the griping out of the way - is there a reasonable chance that firmware updates will help with the speed of the IPC boxes? Or is there a chance it's a cabling issue? (I have no problem pulling new coax or cat5e, and I can provide signal levels if that'll help) If not, is there any chance of getting the old QIP7232 DVR + QIP7100 box back (and adding another 7100), and switching back to what I was paying before? I know they're a bit antiquated (especially the 7100s), but they were much more responsive, and didn't make me want to throw the STBs through the window. It just seems really rediculous that I'm paying such a large premium (plus the "upgrade fee") for equipment that, in terms of the user experience, is much worse.
    Again.. been a happy customer for a long time, but the new terminals are super painful to use.

    Question what were you paying before and after for the boxes.   So what was the old DVR + 2 STB's and the new DVR plus 2 stb's
    Trying to get an idea of what you meant by way more.  Most people said same pricing and a small $20 or so upgrade fee

  • GATP in APO and Free Goods Pricing Records in R/3

    We have set up Free Goods in SAP R/3. These free goods are granted based upon a series of access sequences in pricing.
    We also have our Order Entry system using GATP on our APO box. In that APO instance, we have set up a large number of product substitutions to occur at order time.
    When an item is ordered that is NOT subbed to different item by APO and that item has Free Goods associated with it, the Free Goods are granted by R/3 and placed onto the sales order.
    When an item is ordered that IS subbed to different item by APO and that item has Free Goods associated with it, the Free Goods are NOT granted by R/3.
    Why are the Free Goods being ignored after the substitution? We have Free Goods records in pricing for BOTH items, and neither one is granting the Free Goods.
    Is this a bug, a feature, or an oversight ?
    Any help in this area will be GREATLY appreciated!!!

  • Excise duty in the Pricing Procedure for Local Purchase / Importation

    Hi,
    I'd like to know how to set up the pricing procedure for the purchase of an IS Oil Material; for local purchase and importation, especially with regards to the excise duty posting.
    Local purchase:  the vendor will bill us inclusive of the ED tax he previously paid, so the tax is just passed on to us..  My receiving location has ED paid status. In the PO item, we need to see this price (inclusive of tax) in the net price field.
    Importation:  the vendor only bills us the cost of the material.  When we received the fuel, we paid ED tax to local tax authorities.
    I know that both in these scenarios, the system has to determine the excise duty.
    My questions are (1) how do you set up the excise duty condition type  in the pricing procedure(or do they have to be maintained in the pricing procedure?) ?   and (2)  how do you set up this condition type in the config?

    You can use same pricing procedure
    put 4 in subtotal in pricing procedure against the Discounr or freight cond
    and in taxinn
    BASb ALTCBV 362 and for jmop 363
    But this will work only if same  discount or freight value is in IV as that given in PO
    if freing value changes in IV then its a problem
    This is SAP bug, and SAP workes in that way only, freight value should be same in PO and IV
    other solution
    in taxinn create tax code like v8 vat 4% for 003 tax clasification
    in ftxp create tax code V8 desc vat 4%
    in fv11 for jvrd put 4
    and at the time of IV put this tax code for freight amount
    and for regular material value V1 tax code
    this will work only if u have used acess seq MWST instead of JTAX pr JST1

  • Bug 6002713: Describe table@db_link gives an error that the object does not

    Not sure if this is correct place to report on a known bug, can't seem to find a bug site/database on the SQL Developer home page.
    Anyway in SQL Developer 1.2.1.32.13 release notes it says that the bug that stops you describing tables via a database link has been resolved.
    This doesn't seem to be the case, well 100% fixed anyway.
    The following statement works in SQLPlus but not in SQLDeveloper.
    DESCRIBE schema_name.object_name@database_link;
    You still get the message
    ERROR: object object_name@database_link does not exist
    It looks like the schema_name component is removed before the describe is executed?

  • When Creating Credit memo pricing formula gets triggered even if pri typ D

    Hi gurus,
    We have a copy control set up from billing doc to credit memo doc with all the item catergories pricing type as D (Copy pricing elements unchanged ). We have a discount condition in pricing procedure which is set to statistical based on a condition base formula.
    When I create a credit memo all condition are copied from billing document but the discount condition is set to statistical, which in term throws off the further calculations.
    I found out that this is happening because the condition base formula is getting executed during copy and discount condition get statistical.My understanding was that ,making the pricing type D should not even touch the formula,it should copy conditions as it is.
    Have anybody seen this issue before , is there a way to control it ? Or this is a SAP bug ?

    I dont thik its an SAP bug. In order to answer your query, we need to understand further more on the issue,
    1) IS ZVDC defualted to statistical in the pricing procedure ? or are you explicitly putting to statistical based onthe condition base formula ?
    2 ) if you are putting as statistical explicitly then we need to check the logic in the base formula. Probably you are filtering the document type or category in the logic?
    Can you send me the logic, in the base routine, ?
    sit with an abaper and try to debug the routine.
    the routines should definetly be called even if you are copying.
    the indicator D just copies the unit price thats it, the condition value is calculated from the routines only,
    i feel there is some thing in your routine which needs to be corrected.

  • Why am I getting an "Activation Error" message in PSE 10?  Bug in program??

    A little over 6 months ago, my desktop bit the dust.  I set up a new laptop, and loaded PSE 10 onto it.  I have been using it since then.  Today, I downloaded some photos from my SD card into PSE 10, worked fine.  I then opened Editor, and the screen popped up with a big box saying "Activation Limit reached for Photoshop Elements 10."  It also says "This serial number has already been activated on two computers".  Well, that is probably true ... the desktop that bit the dust, and the one I'm on now where the message showed up.  I "re-tried" and it repeated the message.  It tells me that if I click on "Remind me later", my software will stop working in 30 days.
    What the hell is going on here?  If Adobe allows activation on two computers, then I shouldn't have a problem because this did NOT happen because I'm trying to install anything ... I only tried to open Editor on the laptop I've been using for over 6 months!  If it doesn't allow 2 computers, what do I do?  I can't "de-activate" the one on my desktop since that computer is toast.  But if that is the case, why is this just showing up NOW?  It should have happened earlier, no?
    I think there is some sort of bug in PSE 10 that hasn't been addressed ... or hasn't been addressed on my system.  How do I resolve this?  If it matters, I am using Windows 7, 64 bit, 8 GB RAM,

  • Creative Cloud - BUG Changing Installation Directory for Apps

    I searched and could only find this similar post here

    Which stated the issue I am experiencing.  In the preferences of the creative cloud desktop program I changed the installation directory to D drive because I have my main hard drive partitioned and the programs would take up too much space on C.  Regardless of the change in preferences the applications were still installing to my C drive.  I tried restarting and reinstalling and nothing seemed to work. 
    Finally I decided to reallocate my D partition back to C, I have yet to complete this because I am waiting for all the data on D to be transferred to an external drive so I can recombine it to C without losing data ( I don't know if this is necessary, I haven't recombined partitions in the operating system before, but just to be safe)
    ANYWAY
    As I am waiting for the transfer (Over 120gbs takes a while)  I changed the installation directory in the Creative Cloud preferences back to C and went ahead and installed the program I was trying to prior to all this.  Guess What?  It installed to my D drive!!!
    This isn't a serious bug for me, just incredibly annoying and causing a lot of extra work on my part just to install the program I wanted.  However for someone who requires a different directory to install to and cannot rearrange their computer to accommodate this bug I could see it being more serious.  Has anyone else had this issue and did you find a solution?  Thanks.
    P.S. Adobe you rock, I hope your other CC programs don't feel rushed for release like your installer does

    ADOBE CUSTOMER: You see, that is EXACTLY how you should take care of a customer. Tell them they are wrong and have it NOT RELATED to a simple request to FIX a company software PROBLEM. Tell your customers that after FOUR months of unusability of your product, DAYS of the customer trying to fix the company problem, that your solution is give them TWO months FREE then JACK the price up for them!     ADOBE CUSTOMER: The Russian cracked version of PS 2014 will have to do on another clients machine until you have a total new WORKING release. I'm tired of being your company's test pig, doing the boiler plate cleaner routines, and having the same failures. It's one thing to have broken software, but NOT acceptable to treat customers the way I have been treated, and then, be greedy on a remediation offer from you.
    You say,"We value all our customers."  Again, clearly NO ONE from the BOD has taught you that if you take care of the customer, then the customer will take care of adobe.
    You guys and gals have essentially asked for a fight, and a fight you shall have. good night.

  • Pricing Conditions Rounding Issue

    Currently, our system has two pricing condition types.  ZP,ZD.  The ZP conditions represent a base price and the ZD represent a differential(- discount or + surcharge).  Both are based on the same hierarchy.  ZP00,ZP01,ZP02.ZP03,ZP04.  A ZP01 overrides a ZP00 and ZP03 overrides ZP00, ZP01,ZP02 and so on and so forth.  All transactions are settled in USD.  However, most of the time the ZP, ZDs are based on prices that extend out more than two decimal places.  I am experiencing and issue because SAP calculates the ZP and ZD separately and is rounding each.  For example the ZP or base price in this case is $2.245. This times quantity of 3,999Gal = $8,977.755. SAP rounds this to $8,977.76.  SAP then calcs. the differential ZD $.0235X3,999Gal = $93.9765.  SAP rounds to $93.98.  This is a total price of $8,977.76+$93.98 =$9,071.74.  However the unit price is ZP $2.245 + ZD $0.0235 = $2.2685.  If you take this price multiplied by the quantity $2.2685 X 3,999Gal = $9,071.7315.  So the actual total price is off by 1ct because SAP treats the ZP and ZD as two separate calculations.  I have seen various ideas on how to fix, from creating another pricing condition, to user exits.  I was wondering if there was a preferred method?  Or if there is a simpler solution?

    1. Please review OSS NOTE 80183 regarding Rounding.
       Values calculated in pricing are always rounded to the amount of
       decimal places which the used document currency owns. As subsequent
       processing steps setup on this rounded value rounding differences can
       occur in the calculation of the price per unit or in subtotal line.
       To bypass such effects note 80183 describes possible solutions to
       reduce / bypass this effect.
       A few problems in rounding after applying note 80183, variant 2 have
       been recorded where it was recommended to use the formulas 919 and
       920 on all discounts and surcharges that appear before NETP and the
       problem was solved.
    2. In transaction V/06 there is a field under header 'Control data1'
       which can effect how the system rounds off condition values during
       pricing:
       ->> Rounding rule
           The rule that determines how the system rounds off condition
           values during pricing. The last digit will be rounded.
    Example
    o  In the standard rounding rule '_', values are rounded off according
       to business standards:
       10.454 -> 10.45 DEM
       10.455 -> 10.46 DEM
    o  In rounding rule 'A', values are always rounded up:
       10.459 -> 10.46 DEM
       10.451 -> 10.46 DEM
    o  In rounding rule 'B', values are always rounded down:
       1045.9 -> 1045 LIT
       1045.1 -> 1045 LIT
       In this example, the currency of the condition rate is Italian Lira.
       The Italian Lira does not have any places after the point.
    3. Also check if the condition type is set as item condition as well
       as group condition in transaction V/06. What this means is that
       the system will calculate the value of the condition on header level
       and compares it with the sum of item values in the document.
       Any rounding difference (KONV-KDIFF) detected, will be populated
       in the line item with greatest value or in first line item if all are
       of equal value.
       In other cases where there is no adjustment because there is no
       rounding difference when comparing the header value and the sum of
       item values.
       ->> Solution to this scenario -
           If you remove the 'group condition' setting, the system will then
           calculate amount for the items directly and you will not get the
           rounding. You must decide which setting is more suited for your
           business. This is not a bug, but works as per designed.
           EXAMPLE: MWST - tax condition (a group condition)
                    Item 10     16%   of 100.90  = 16.14
                    Item 20     16%   of 100.90  = 16.14
                                           Total = 32.28

  • DTW Failing to Update Pricing

    Hi,
    I updated pricing for a particular price list for a bunch of items using the DTW but not all have updated.
    The log from the DTW reported all were successful, but about 10% of items didn't change.  The template is definitely correct as I have done it multiple times before and 90% of the changes worked.
    I am able to update these items manually, but I still don't know why they failed to update with the DTW after it reported they were successful.
    I have also tried uploading the template again and still does the same thing.
    Any ideas?

    I get this problem to and I think that it's an intermittent bug in DTW. If you use a comma delimited import file try text, or visa-versa. In the end I had to manually add several records and even then these records would not update when I used DTW for a global edit.
    On the plus side it's still quicker than typing.

  • Catalog pricing challenge (idml, xml, javascript solution?)

    I have a very large challenge that i desperately need help with.
    I am working on a 1000+ page catalog with over 30,000 products in it. The pages come to our studio from a master database much like the example image I have inserted below ---> and inline list of product names, images, Specs and Tables. We then apply formatting and arrange the items into a paginated layout. Basic InDesign stuff.
    The problem comes at the end (After pagination of 1000+ pages). These files do not come in with final pricing and we then need to update it to reflect the current pricing for the items. We have been using a plugin that interfaces with our database to flow in pricing and it has worked O.K.(we have had many bugs along the way). We recently updated our database software and the ID plugin that goes with it and have lost the functionality to update pricing (UGGGGHHHH, they are "working on it") which renders this very expensive product useless.      : (    sad face
    We have researched a large number of 3rd party solutions (plugins, software, etc.) to change/enhance our workflow but unfortunately all of them have trouble interfacing with our database software and cannot be implemented without a very large, pricey and time consuming conversion. (trust me, I have done over 15 demos of all the major plugins and services, small to large)
    My solution/workaround for this problem of updated pricing for 30,000+ products perhaps could be a simple solution that goes like this:
    1. Receive ID CS6 files.
    2. Complete pagination of IDCS6 files.
    3. Export .idml for paginated files.
    4. Export a mirrored IDCS6 file from the database with all the same data, images, tables, etc. with updated pricing.
    5. Export .idml from mirrored file.
    6. Convert both .idml files to .zip files and replace the .xml containing the Story Data (Located at Catalog_Paginated.zip\XML\Stories) with the exported Story data from the mirrored files .zip package
    (Located again at Catalog_Mirrored.zip\XML\Stories).
    7. Convert paginated files .zip back to .idml and open in IDCS6 which should now have the new Story data and in turn updated pricing.
    I have tried this and in short I get a file that is hung up and will not open. Keep in mind that i do not do all 30,000 products in one ID file. They are exported in chunks of 20 to 30 products. This works perfectly on a small scale document such as in my attached example pic, but has trouble with a large file with more complex product data and tables.
    This is where i need help. Am I barking up the wrong tree? Am I simply replacing the wrong .xml data in the .idml/.zip file? Is there a JavaScript solution to update/replace the .xml data?
    I feel strongly that the robust data offered in the .idml format (perhaps in conjunction with a scripting solution) can offer an ideal solution in this problem as oppose to pursuing a costly and time consuming transfer to a new plugin/software solution.
    I have some help from a very talented (and very busy) team of developers working on a JavaScript solution but I am pursuing this .idml solution myself and REALLLLLLY NEED HELP as we are falling behind in production as we speak.
    In short, this should be simple. What am i doing wrong?

    What you might find unique with this product is the batch processing feature and reporting..In certain cases the reports this software generates has proven invaluable for for my team. If you say your catalog is 1000 pages you could easily update this in or around an hours time (via the batch processing feature). We've used AutoPrice since the dark days when Quark dominated the industry..probably around 15 years. This is also available for CS6 as you mention above. If you do look at this program it would be interesting to know how it turned out for your dilema. Good Luck!

  • Pricing Procedure is missing in processed CRM-ISA order on Tab "Prices"

    Dear all,
    after creating successfully an order in CRM, it is distributed to R/3 where it gets processed without problems. When I get the order back in CRM the field "Pricing Proc." is empty on Tab "Prices".
    Does anyone have an idea, where to search for the reason ? We are using CRM Internet Sales 3.1.

    Hi Mirko,
    Check the sales area on the sales organization tab of the replicated order in CRM. Is the sales area is the same that you have assigned to the catalog variant? If both are different then the sales area determination is again taking place on R/3 and in CRM there may not be a pricing procedure assigned for the new sales area.
    If both the sales areas are same then it may be bug in the service pack.
