Pricing Condition and Procedure Challenge

Hi all
So my client wants to separate the sales contract between two clients. The items are service charges not stock items. One BP will pay for the item (net of tax), whilst another BP will pay for the tax element
I have thought of using two service materials, one not valid for tax and the other valid for tax (to present the tax line). When creating a contract we will create two lines against the two materials from above. The first line is ok, because this is net of tax. However the second line is a problem
I have created a statistical price in the second line to represent the statistical value of the first line (will use a copy routine to populate the price)
However is there a way to calculate the MWST tax and therefore the net price of tax only?
Example statistical price £1000
MWST Output tax 17.5% = £175
Net value = £175
At the moment I cannot get the calculation to start
Any thoughts
Steve

  • Pricing Conditions and how the pricing date is determined

    Hi all,
Small question, i ahve some pricing conditions that use the Serives Rendered date and others that use the Pricing Date from an order, how is the condition decided on what date it uses?
Hope i have expplained this ok, if not and you need more info let me know.
    Regards
    Steve

    Hi
There is a difference between Service Rendered Data and Pricing Date.
Normally Freight Conditions are maintained on Service Rendered Date so the freight will be picked on the basis of date on which the Actual Delivery done, whereas Pricing date is used for other conditions so that price will be based on the date on which the document created and the Pricing Date maintained in that.
In the same way there is a Billing Date which came in Invoice so price will be based on the date of Invoicing.
If you maintain the record in VK11 and test a cycle you will be able to find the difference easily.

  • Purchase Order Pricing Condition and Withholding Tax

    Hi
We have investigated Extended Withholding Tax functionality, which appears to be FI specific.
The problem is that we want to have the Purchase Order pricing conditions reflect that some amount is being withheld for tax purposes.
At invoice time, the vendor would invoice for the entire amount (i guess) (ie. 100$) but we would pay the vendor only 80$ and 20$ would go to a withholding tax account...or something like this would happen ...
I have some pricing config knowledge...but limited
    Can anyone tell me
    a) if this is possible?
    b) any hints on how to go about this?
Also noticed a 'withholding tax code' field on MEK1 - Create Condition Records. .... which appears as display only depending on how i configure my condition type - haven't figured out how to use this field or what is means...
    Thank-you !!!

    Hi,
If you are using the standard PO Print then check in M/08 and check for that Condition Type whether Print Indicator is "X"? If it is is Z-Print Program then take help of ABAPer.

  • Pricing conditions EK01 and PR00 in pricing procedure

    Hi Gurus,
We have a process in which a SD billing request is generated by using DIP profile (DP90). Pricing condition used in the pricing procedure for the sales document is EK01 (which brings the actual cost of the service order that creates the Billing request through DP90) but it happens sometimes that EK01 is not desired but instead PR00 ( another price agreed with a certain client instead of the actual cost in the order).
In order to match this need, best would be to combine both conditions (EK01 and PR00) in the same pricing procedure, and as a general rule, EK01 will apply in the billing request price, but in case PR00 condition exists, then this one will prevail and EK01 will be in the price conditions but will not be taken into account in the price calculation--> how can this be done in the pricing procedure?
Another possibility would be using different pricing procedures so that one has EK01 as pricing condition and  the other one has PR00. The pricing procedure will be assigned by using document pricing procedure assigned to a different document type but this is not the desired solution as it makes much more tricky the design: another dynamic item profile would be needed so that proper document type is assigned.
Thanks for your great help in advanced!
    VL

    Hi Victor,
You can put both of the conditions in the same pricing procedure and use the exclusion group to compare the conditions and choose the favourable as per you requirement.
I hope this will certainly help you in solving your problwm.

The term pricing is used broadly to describe the calculation of prices (for external use by customers or vendors) and costs (for internal purposes, such as cost accounting). Conditions represent a set of circumstances that apply when a price is calculated. For example, a particular customer orders a certain quantity of a particular product on a certain day. The variable factors here - the customer, the product, the order quantity, the date - determine the final price the customer gets. The information about each of these factors can be stored in the system as master data. This master data is stored in the form of condition records.
    hope this helps.

  • Statistical pricing condition management with TPM

    Hi gurus,
we're planning to introduce a statistical pricing condition and we would like that triggered by TPM.
To be precise, that condition is statistical in the sense that it does not change the price charged to the customer but it generates FI posting and we want the related amount synchronized with TFM.
Do you gurus think this is doable?
    Regards
    C

    HI Ravin,
Based on the details you have provided below could be the possible reasons:
    1. I see alternate calculation type routine 909 assigned to condition type GRWR in pricing procedure. Try removing this routine. If it works, ask some from ABAP to debug the issue.
    2. In condition type configuration(for GRWR), condition category is selected as L - "Generally new when copying".
With this config, condition type will always be redetermined and not copied from reference document even when copy controls are maintained correctly.
Most I believe option 2 would be your case.

  • User exit to add header pricing condition in sales order

    Hi experts,
I have an urgent requirement in VA01/VA02 to automatically add a header pricing condition and rate (Kanban charges) for a certain type of Sales order (Kanban Sales order). Does anyone know what user exit I can use for this requirement? Also, the additional header pricing condition should be included in the net value for the item.
    Thanks!

    HI Leo
To add a condition price for a condition type, this has to be assigned in the <b>pricing procedure</b>. For each condition type in a pricing procedure, we will have <b>access sequences</b>. If we follow this approch, the price is automatically extracted basing on the access sequences when condition records are maintained. For this, no coding is required and everything can be done by configuration by Functional consultant.
Naren is right to point out on the same.
If you need to change the price for a particular condition which already exists, you can go by <b>pricing routines</b>. Go through transaction <b>VOFM</b> for the same.
I advice you to discuss with your functional consultant and understand the requirement and then go for modifying accordingly.
    Kind Regards

  • BAPI for creation of Credit Note with custom pricing condition

I need to create a Credit Note with reference Invoice via program.  So, I am planning to use BAPI. Could you please suggest appropriate BAPI?  I need to send a pricing condition that is set manually in the credit note as well.  So, I will needto pass pricing condition and value.  Thanks.

    Hello,
Why you have to create the credit note using BAPI w.r.t. invoice ? Can you brief the senario .
The simple way is create a credit memo request in VA01 w.r.t. invoice number. It will have the block . Remove the block and Create credit memo in VF01 .
    Thanks

  • Pricing conditions for sale order create BAPI

    Hi guys and gals,
i am workin on a object where i would have to create a variant of VA01 screen with pricing details , item details , shipping details etc, visible in  a single screen .
What i have understood so far is that i would have to use BAPI simulate to get the pricing conditions and ATP details to display to the user before he saves the order , the issue now is when is adding new pricing conditions or changing the existing conditions on my screen i would have to update the other conditions types based on his input and i also understand that some conditions r editable and some arn't and like in regular VA01 the user should be able to delete the pricing conditions also , which means i should taken into account all this when iam finally saving this order , please guide me further in this regards
    Thanks in advance

    Hai
    Try with the following
U need to give the step_nr, item_nr, cond_count and cond_type so the correct conditon will be updated. If no condition exists for the given parameters, a new condition will be created.
U can find these parameters for a particular condition type in table KONV.

  • Record pricing conditions report

    Hello experts,
    My requirement goes like below.....
A viewable and/or printable report is needed that will pull all open purchase orders within a time period that has a line item and material number where the price on the PO has been manually changed and is different than the purchasing info record pricing conditions and / or the contract price condition if the contract is referenced on the PO.
Plz can anyone give me some idea so that I can develop technical specs for the above functional specs
    Its bit urgent for me
Thanks a lot for your valuable time
    SIRI

    Hi Harvinder,
As for my knowledge there is no Standard repot avialable in SAP for your requirement.
You need to speak with your ABAP consultant to generate customised report. Tell him to fetch the values from table KONV which is fo condition values. Based on your requirement you need to generate customised report.
    Thanks,

  • Archive pricing condition record

    Hello everybody,
I want to ask about how to archive MM pricing condition record?
I tried with SARA, archive object CND_RECORD or program /SAPCND/CND_RECORD_WRITE but it doesnt work.
    Kindly advise,
    Thanks,
    HN

    Hello Jurgen,
We're about to archive tens of millions of SD_COND entries - mainly to reduce the number of change records we have in table CDHDR, of type COND_A (COND_A is the change document object for SD Pricing conditions and we have over 100 million of them! And is now causing a few performance issues).
Understandably this is going to take a long time to process so I was intrigued to read your post that no conditions should be maintained whilst the archiving programs run...
I've tried searching OSS but haven't been able to locate any information about this.
Could it be that you were referring to the old archive programs and not the newer ones such as those described in:
Note 838768 - New archiving programs for condition records
Any help you could offer would be much appreciated!

  • Upload Pricing Conditions in VK11

    Hi,
I have list of new materials for which i want to Price conditions using VK11 Transaction.
What is the best method to upload Pricing conditions and also provide me some sample code to achieve this.
    Thanks
    Bhuvana

    Hi,
You can use BAPI_PRICES_CONDITIONS to create the condition records. Please note that this is not released by SAP.
I have used this above BAPI and it will update or create condition records.
    RV_CONDITION_COPY
    RV_CONDITION_SAVE
    RV_CONDITION_RESET,
Please note the above FM's are also not released by used in few standard programs.

  • Pricing conditions for PO

How can i fetch the dynamically calculated pricing conditions to my program?
    Kindly help.

    Hi Ankit,
To get the pricing condition of PO do like this:
1.You fetch the KNUMV from ekko table on passing your purchase order.
2.Now you pass this KNUM to konv table and retrieve KBETR for the corresponding condition type.
    3. you can use case and end case for the konv-kschl.
like wise you can mentioned all pricing condition and find the coresponding value.
hope this will work for you and still you find any problem then let us know.
    gudluck.
    Rewards if useful.
