PRINTING IN REGIONAL (MARATHI) LANGUAGE

Hi Experts,
I am working on a implementation project, the client has requirement for the reports in 'Marathi Regional Language'. regarding this i have some questions. We are using ECC 6.0 and it has Unicode Installation.
1) What are the System (Basis) requirements?
2) Is SAP provides any fonts for this?
3) Is it possible to give reports in regional language, If the end-user enters all data in English?
4) If yes, how can we translate this data from English to Regional (Marathi) Language?
5) Is it possible to give Reports in regional language using Smartforms & ALV.
6) If any third party tool is required for it which tool should be used.
And most important que.
7) Please guide me how to make coding for this.
Thanks In advance
Amol

For maintaining data in reports in Hindi, Log in Hindi Logon & maintain text elements in Hindi, copy paste the Hindi conversion into the text element.
the text elements have been maintained in Hindi for ALV display, though font szie for the text is an issue.
The other option is goto SE63,
SE63: standard translation environment
*translation
*ABAP objects
*short texts
Expand ABAP texts
*text elements
Assign in object name the z development name
Assign the source & target language as per specifications
This would display the text element list for the changes to be made.
ask the basis people to go to transaction SPAD the following SAP note was added.
SAP Release Note number: 809034 (Support for Arabic font with SAPWIN)
We also need to maintain the data in the text table, for data to be displayed in different language at line item.SO for the standard table from where the data is being displayed, look for the text table of the standard table.

  • S there marathi language support in sony Ericsson 8

s there marathi language support in sony Ericsson 8

It doesn't appear that the X8 I have supports this language.
However, if you mean the W8, it may support this, as the phone was developed with your region in mind.
Regardless, I would check in-store before purchasing.

  • Enabling local language for client (Marathi Language)

    Hello friends,
I want to enable Marathi language in IDES 6.0 (SQL 2005 Server, Unicode System).
    Kindly suggest.
    Regards,
    Satyajit Raskar

    > I can see the local language option, what would be it used for in the system? Can I make any use of it?
SAP delivers by default only "English and German". If you want to add further languages they have to be imported from the language DVDs. Marathi is not part of those delivered languages.
    > Can I be able to print ABAP reports in the local language?
Yes, you can print but you have to translate everything yourself.

  • I installed Reader (in English) and it prints in a different language

I installed Reader [01/03/2010,in English] and it prints in a different language/garble.
I received a hospital appointment email with an attachment confirming my next day's appointment.
The attachment confirms place and time with a barcode to be scanned upon arrival at the hospital's kiosk.
So far all is good but, when I print the attachment it looks similar in format but is garbled.
It does not appear to be a translation to a foreign language but rather a series of random letters and symbols.
    Examples:
Time:      prints out as; Ujn f ;       Provider:prints out as: Qspwjef s ; Location: prints out as: Mpdbyjo
    09:00AM   "     "   ;    1: ; 11BN      Not only are the letters garbled but they are merged
I don't know what's wrong or how to fix it. My question is "What I Gotta Do?" HELP!

It "could" have something to do with improper embedding of the fonts used in the document. Reader is substituting for a different font which as you can see, rarely works.
One thing you can try is in the print menu find the option to "print as image" and see if that works.
If it doesn't, there isn't really anything you can do except to contact the folks that made the PDF and request that they embed all fonts.

  • Regional and Language Settings for Window and BEX Style

    Hi All,
When I change the Regional and Language Settings for Windows, Standards and Formats value to English (USA) the standard Style for BEX is active. For instance, input-ready cell is bordered with blue. But when I switch to Turkish this style is not active.
Additionally, I have to change Style for each Workbook one by one. How can we adopt a style to every workbook.
    Regards,

    Lars,
This is a setting on the 'Defaults' tab in the User Profile. This can be set when a new user is set-up in SU01, or it can be changed by each user according to personal preference in SU3. I'm sure there is a system table where these settings are stored that could probably be edited for all users, if that is desired, but I don't know which table that would be off the top of my head.
    Hope this helps...
    Bob

  • How to make the Region and Language | Location | Current Location selected by "country or region" selection

    Hi,
I have built a Windows Embedded Standard 7 image that includes multiple language packs for the countries that we support.  When I sysprep this image and reboot, I am prompted for my language (a screen appears with many selections like "My language
is English").  Once I select my language and select next, I am prompted for "Country or Region", Currency and Keyboard.  For some unknown reason the "Country or Region" selection only affects the setting under "Region
and Language" | Administrative | "non-Unicode programs", it does not affect the setting setting under "Region and Language" | Location | "Current Location".
Is there a way to modify my image such that the "Country or Region" selection is used for the location setting?
    Thanks,
    Brent

  • Printing PO in the language of OA (ordering address)

    Hello all,
In our POs we use partners VN (Vendor) and OA (Ordering address). The PO is printed with the address of OA, the output type NEU has the partner role OA .
Sometimes the language key in the vendor master data of OA is different from the language key in the vendor master data of VN.
When printing a PO the language is always the language from  the vendor master data of VN. How to print with the language of OA? Is there any user-exit or some modifications have to be made?
In the PO, in the message NEU the language could be changed, e.g. from DE to EN. But the changed language is ignored and the PO is printed again in the language of the VN.
    Thanks&regards

    HI,
When you are entering the address of the vendor in the address view there is an icon named INTERNATIONAL VERSION where we can maintain another address in any language.
Why dont you maintain your Ordering Address there and call this address in your PO.
Oops i thought only address you wanted.. Sorry
If you want the total PO to be printed in OA address.
    1. chec for language add on is installed
    2. translate all the objects into ur OA language
    3. *** Check the printer character format*** very important... ask the basis person as in my project also we have EN, TR, BG .. this would certainly solve ur problem.
    4. You can change your lanuage to VN or OA language any time durning the creation of PO
Hope you got what I said.

  • Problem in Smart form while printing it in POLISH language

    Hi All,
I am facing a problem in SMARTFORM and SAP SCRIPT.
I have developed a form in EN language and converted that in POLISH language using SE63 . When the form is printed in the POLISH language "#" is coming for some special characters of POLISH Language . ( e.g. 'Length' should get printed as 'DŁUGOŚĆ' ' but it is coming as 'D#UGO##'')
Please tell me how to handle these special characters in POLISH Language.
    Thanks

    Hi,
To solve this Basis need to create a new output device type which supports Latin-2 character set (Device type to I2HP4) or change the existing one to support Latin-2 character set.
    Thanks

  • Printing: Hidding Regions

    Hi Everyone!
I have this page that has 3 regions. the first region has buttons, the second has a list of items and the third contains the table. I would only like to print the region that has the table when going to File->Print without selecting the "Print selected items" option from the web browser. Plus I would like for my people to go green and print less pages as possible, trying to condense everything to one page.
Is there a way when printing a page some items can be hidden so everything can fit in one page?
    Thanks,
    Bino

    Hello Bino,
    >> I was trying what you suggested and it seems that regions cannot be hidden when I try to print.
I’m using this technique myself, so I know that when applied correctly it is working.
    >> Any help?
It’s hard to help you when you didn’t give us any information about what you did, the code you have used, etc. However, the following is a code I’m using in one of my pages, to hide a region:
    <style type="text/css">
    @media print {
      #R3404110703102951 {
         display: none !important;
</style>The ‘R3404110703102951’ is the specific region ID you want to hide. You must use a specific CSS ID selector so other regions on the page, which are using the same generic region class, will be printed.
If this example is not enough, please give us some more information about your scenario, or even better, put an example page on apex.oracle.com.
    Regards,
    Arie.

  • [SOLVED]Trying to use Marathi language for typing using ibus

    Namskar to all,
I'm using a plane install of Arch (no testing or something) regularly updated for last eight months or so. I'm using XFCE and Slim.
I wanted to use Marathi language for typing in Libreoffice. After wiki search installed corresponding langpack and also ibus and ibus-m17n.
    did ibus-setup.
I couldn't find Marathi or devnagari as input method in ibus preferences.
Googled again but couldn't figure out a way to enable those input methods.
Found that it's there in ubuntu at a friend's place.
Any directions in the matter will be highly appreciated.
    Thank You.

    Hi there,
There are many threads in the forum which talk about the accentuated and other special characters, in Polish and other languages. There are also many SAP notes about these issues.
The following can impact the output:
    - if your system is Unicode or not
    - which device type you use, and what is its code page ("character set")
    - which font you use

  • Printing Data in 2 Languages

    Hi All,
Do you know if it is possible to print data in 2 languages in same RTF template?
Some fields are stored as Arabic and some in English. At run time when the checks are printed, the customer wants to print Payee name , amount etc in Arabic and remittance details in English.
I created template and also customized custom hook in IBY_FD_EXTRACT_EXT_PUB to get the additional fields in Arabic but XML file does not get open and nor I can load the same in RTF.
Any suggestions as to how to go about such a scenario is highly appreciated.
    Mohit

    not sure that you have
    looks like steps are:
    - create template with needed tags of xml
    - generate data xml by data definition or by package
    - generate needed data in needed language by http://translate.google.com/
    as example
English to Spanish translate using SQl Statement
Convert english data of datbase to hindi
