Marathi language

can i install marathi language in noki c5

1. User can't install any language
2. You need to ask your local Nokia Care to install any language pack. Doubt whether 'Marathi' would be available..but Hindi (which is same Devanagari Lipi) may be ..

  • PRINTING IN REGIONAL (MARATHI) LANGUAGE

    Hi Experts,
I am working on a implementation project, the client has requirement for the reports in 'Marathi Regional Language'. regarding this i have some questions. We are using ECC 6.0 and it has Unicode Installation.
    1) What are the System (Basis) requirements?
    2) Is SAP provides any fonts for this?
    3) Is it possible to give reports in regional language, If the end-user enters all data in English?
    4) If yes, how can we translate this data from English to Regional (Marathi) Language?
    5) Is it possible to give Reports in regional language using Smartforms & ALV.
    6) If any third party tool is required for it which tool should be used.
    And most important que.
    7) Please guide me how to make coding for this.
    Thanks In advance
    Amol

For maintaining data in reports in Hindi, Log in Hindi Logon & maintain text elements in Hindi, copy paste the Hindi conversion into the text element.
the text elements have been maintained in Hindi for ALV display, though font szie for the text is an issue.
The other option is goto SE63,
    SE63: standard translation environment
    *translation
    *ABAP objects
    *short texts
    Expand ABAP texts
    *text elements
Assign in object name the z development name
Assign the source & target language as per specifications
This would display the text element list for the changes to be made.
ask the basis people to go to transaction SPAD the following SAP note was added.
SAP Release Note number: 809034 (Support for Arabic font with SAPWIN)
We also need to maintain the data in the text table, for data to be displayed in different language at line item.SO for the standard table from where the data is being displayed, look for the text table of the standard table.

  • [SOLVED]Trying to use Marathi language for typing using ibus

    Namskar to all,
I'm using a plane install of Arch (no testing or something) regularly updated for last eight months or so. I'm using XFCE and Slim.
I wanted to use Marathi language for typing in Libreoffice. After wiki search installed corresponding langpack and also ibus and ibus-m17n.
    did ibus-setup.
I couldn't find Marathi or devnagari as input method in ibus preferences.
Googled again but couldn't figure out a way to enable those input methods.
Found that it's there in ubuntu at a friend's place.
Any directions in the matter will be highly appreciated.
    Thank You.

  • S there marathi language support in sony Ericsson 8

s there marathi language support in sony Ericsson 8

It doesn't appear that the X8 I have supports this language.
However, if you mean the W8, it may support this, as the phone was developed with your region in mind.
Regardless, I would check in-store before purchasing.

  • Enabling local language for client (Marathi Language)

    Hello friends,
I want to enable Marathi language in IDES 6.0 (SQL 2005 Server, Unicode System).
    Kindly suggest.
    Regards,
    Satyajit Raskar

    > I can see the local language option, what would be it used for in the system? Can I make any use of it?
SAP delivers by default only "English and German". If you want to add further languages they have to be imported from the language DVDs. Marathi is not part of those delivered languages.
    > Can I be able to print ABAP reports in the local language?
Yes, you can print but you have to translate everything yourself.

  • How to enable/download/display hindi/marathi language in bb9790 bold os 7.1

Please help on display/enable hindi lang in bb9790 bold os 7.1. Before os upgrade i was able to see msgs bt I'm not able to see them now. All appears as black box. Plz suggest

Hi and Welcome to the Community!
You need to ensure that you have an OS package installed to your device that contains the language you desire, as well as ensure that you have on your device fully activated the language. The simplest way is to, on a PC (you cannot do this on MAC):
    1) Make sure you have a current and complete backup of your BB...you can find complete instructions via the link in my auto-sig below.
    2) Uninstall, from your PC, any BB OS packages
    3) Make sure you have the BB Desktop Software already installed
    http://us.blackberry.com/software/desktop.html
    4) Download and install, to your PC, the BB OS package you desire:
    http://us.blackberry.com/support/downloads/download_sites.jsp
It is sorted first by carrier -- so if all you want are the OS levels your carrier supports, your search will be quick. However, some carriers are much slower than others to release updates. To truly seek out the most up-to-date OS package for your BB, you must dig through and find all carriers that support your specific model BB, and then compare the OS levels that they support.
Please use this KB as reference to make your selection:
Article ID: KB05305 Localization support for BlackBerry smartphones
    5) Delete, on your PC, all copies of VENDOR.XML...there will be at least one, and perhaps 2, and they will be located in or similarly to (it changes based on your Windows version) these folders:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader
    C:\Users\(your Windows UserName)\AppData\Roaming\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Loader XML
6a) For changing your installed BB OS level (upgrade or downgrade), you can launch the Desktop Software and connect your BB...the software should offer you the OS package you installed to your PC.
6b) Or, for reloading your currently installed BB OS level as well as for changing it, bypass the Desktop Software and use LOADER.EXE directly, by proceeding to step 2 in this process:
    http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/BlackBerry-Device-Software/How-To-Reload-Your-Operating-Syste...
Note that while written for "reload" and the Storm, it can be used to upgrade, downgrade, or reload any BB device model -- it all depends on the OS package you download and install to your PC.
If, during the processes of 6a or 6b, your BB presents a "507" error, simply unplug the USB cord from the BB and re-insert it...don't do anything else...this should allow the install to continue.
If you are on MAC, you are limited to only your carriers sanctioned OS packages...but can still use any levels that they currently sanction. See this procedure:

  • Epub document in Marathi

Task - Create a marathi unicode document and export it to epub. The epub file should be readable on iOS and Android.
Problem - I have created an ebook using apple pages in Marathi Language. I have used marathi unicode font to do that. I have exported it in epub format. Now the porblem is the epub file is readable on Apple devices (macbook, iPhone, iPad) but not on android. Font is missing on Android.
What I have tried - I have downloaded Adobe indesign to perform the same task. It is helping me to do that, but there is a problem with some characters.
What I want -  I want to know whether pages exports the documents in epub3 format. Is that the format right so that it will be readable in android. Is there a process to embedd the font to ebook in pages, so that I don't have to worry about it for different operating systems.
    Please suggest.

I think  you would have to modify the Pages epub to embed fonts.  A google search on "pages epub embed fonts" might find some info on how to do that.
InDesign should work, but you may have to use the Devanagari font provided by Adobe instead of those provided by Apple to get proper display.  Check in the Adobe forums regarding any problems
    https://forums.adobe.com/welcome
I would have assumed that Android would normally include a Devanagari font, just like iOS does.  Is that not true?

  • Addition of a language font in task list

    Hi all,
i have this requirement wherein the PM checklist is given to group of people who doesnt know English and the checklist is in marathi,(language of Maharastra-part of India)
requirement is same is to be shown in SAP.
    Is there any possibility?
Right now in thier PC they are having  a Shivaji Font by which they are able to typein Marathi.
May be it is not possible but brain storming will be appreaciated.

The real issue is one of SAP support code-page. I don't think that Marathi - despite being used by over 60 - 70 million people on this planet - is a language, whose code-page (fonts etc) is supported by SAP. You can confirm using note 73606
From Creating a new custom language code?
In a Non-Unicode system, SAP notes 112065 and 302063 describe possibilities to use additional language keys.
In a Unicode system, SAP note 73606 (attachment supportedlanguages2.xls) shows all supported language keys.

  • Marathi font in SMARTFORMS.

    Hi All,
I have to design one form in Marathi Language through SMARTFORMS.
In my PC marathi unicode script is installed and in microsoft word i can write in marathi
but in smartforms all the letters are in  " # " .
Please let me know how can i write marathi font in SMARTFORMS.
    Regards,
    Ankur.

Is it only when you come back to the PC editor that SAP has converted the characters (or in the preview), or is it when you really print?
For the printout, as already explained in the forum many times, the problem of hash characters is usually that the code page of the device type of the output device does not contain these characters, so SAP replaces them by the hash character. So just choose the right device type (ask your administrator if you don't know).

  • How to add a specific font needed for a particular web site?

The web site "www.gadima.com" requires the Marathi font (True Type), for displaying its content properly in Marathi language. This font is already installed in the CentOs. Firefox does not display the information in proper Marathi fonts, but displays only garbage.
I already set this "Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of my selections above"
    still this not work..
In opera this web site displays proper marathi font.
    I have "Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-US; rv:1.9.2.24) Gecko/20111109 CentOS/3.6-3.el5.centos AlexaToolbar/alxf-2.14 Firefox/3.6.24"

Did you install all 5 fonts?
    EDIT:
I see the same on Linux in Firefox 3.6.25, so it looks that the MillenniumGanesh and LscapeRegDevPriya fonts aren't working in Firefox 3.6.25 (it works for me in Firefox 9).

Windows allows to change the keyboard to Hindi, but not to Marathi.
But I wonder why you are changing the focus. The problem arose when you were setting a particular font. So the first question is: Can you do without that font? Meaning: are the Devanagari characters an option? No Devanagari characters are not option.I have to use Marathi language in my application for displaying to the user and taking value from user.See perblem come into picture when i am using setFont method.i did one expriment using characters 0900-097F.For one jtext field i have set text as "\u0937\u0937\0937".In gui i saw the corresponding marathi characters for it (here i did not used any set font method). Also after printuing that on paper i saw marathi text.As i mentioned in previous post i was not able to use "\u0937\u0937\0937" this in table. It might be some mistake in string formation. But i am sure it will work.Only need to check how to form string.
In this case Only problem is that how to take input from user.As user will not gonna input "\u0900".He will laways enter abcd....I have to interprete them into unicode. Please correct me if i am thinking wrong.
I will try by changing the language of keyboard to hindi and get back.
