Problem displaying only one arabic letter

i have read an arabic text and print it , it displaye all letteres except of the arabic letter "fa" it display insted of it "?". i use UTF8 encoding which is ok for arabic letter but i can't understand why it doesn't display the letter "fa".
i use Eclipse as Platform
any help

Probably the device that is displaying the output is not capable of rendering the character and substitutes the "?". If this is a monitor, change the characterset to one that has that character. (It's not a Java glitch)

Hi Gurus,
Here my requirement is i have 2 pages.
first page having project_number lov,create and tableRN.
once u select the projectnumber and click on the create button it is navigate to secound page,here enter the data and click on the submit button it ll insert into database table and navigate to fitst page and display the data in tableRN what ever u insert the data(this part is over).
but the problem is, in tableRN displays all the records(previous records also displayed)
my requirement is display only one record(click on the submit button at the time of record only).

Display only one variable in the header and not column in WAD

Hi All,
my requirement is to be able to display only one variable in the report output header and hide the others. I am able to display all by using the INFO FIELD ITEM and saying variable display ON - but the requirement is very specific for only one variable display.
how can i achieve this ?

Hi,
You can insert a text item and Turn off the others or Hide these from Filter pane I have done that and then use that query for your WAD.
Steps:
1. Uncheck all the variables from your Design item in Analyzer.
2. Insert a New Text Item and check the Variable you want to display.
3. Go back and run the Query.
Even you can change the position in the Query and Save as a workbook.Let me know ,if this works.

I have a field in my report with 2 or more values (depending of another field id).For example for id = 1 the report gives me 2 names in that field.For id = 3 the report gives me 3 names in that field.I want to display only one of these names in the id row.The selection of name is random.Thanks!

Hello Tim, would barely fit in this situation since this code resides on the client’s interaction side of things. I’d recommend using JavaScript for this matter, e.g. var Data_FName1 = document.getElementById(‘Data_FName1’).value;. If you still opt for using CFML, then you’d go for proxying your JavaScript code to a CFC.

MSS iView 'Team Calendar' display only one Month

The Managers want to see at least 3 months for the leave , in order to schedule resources/coverage .MSS iView 'Team Calendar' display only one Month . Can we change the number of months ? or use another tool/functionality via the portal ?

In SAP standard config there is no option so as to display more than one month on in Team calender iView.
In you case you will have to do development.

I personally believe that I'm not the only one let down by Creative's recent products and support. I was the guy who'd always go around telling other people "Why get an iPod? Everyone has one, they use proprietary connectors for everything, the battery life sucks, and you get to twiddle your thumbs clockwise and counterclockwise as you go up and down."
But not anymore.
And no I'm not talking about boycotting apple here, I'm talking about Creative.
I'll start off by providing a little background information about myself. I've always been heavily into music and movies. My computer consists of a Soundblaster Audigy 2 soundcard, and 600gb of RAID 0 hard dri've space. All used for games, music, and movies.
I always loved my Soundblaster cards, even my Soundblaster li've. Then someone showed me something amazing, a 30Gb Creative MP3 player. I think it was the Zen Ztra, I'm not sure, it was a long time ago. Soon as I saw that baby I fell in love with it. It had just 0Gb less than the harddri've of the computer I owned at the time, the sound quality was amazing, and it was very easy to use.
A good time after that, I decided to finally buy an MP3 player of my own after using a Sony ATRAC3 plus CD player for so long for my music. I went to the store and the only thing I could think of was that it had to be a Creative MP3 player. That day I ended up shelling out about 400 bucks for a 20gb Creative Zen Touch. I was wishing I found the 40gb version after that but for the amount of music I had at the time it worked very well.
I think I owned that MP3 player for at leas 2 years or so without any problems or freezes before someone finally stole it from me. I guess that's what I get for lending it to my girlfriend but thats a different story. She agreed to buy me a new one right away. I Think she knew how much I loved creative products at the time (and how much I hated iPods) that she decided to get me a Creative MP3 player of course. She ended up getting one that I was looking at online for quite a while. The Creative Zen Vision: M, the 60gb model.
I was a little disappointed that the battery life was nowhere near as impressi've as my old MP3 player, but with 60Gb, a gorgeous color screen, video playback, a better touchpad than the iPod (In my own opinion), and better battery life than an iPod (actual fact), I couldn't find much else not to like.
Of course, in less than a week I started getting nothing but problems.
While I was away on a trip the MP3 player froze twice. I had to stop at a nearby store to borrow a paperclip to reset it. The second time it froze was when the battery was getting low. After I reset it again the next screen showed "Low Battery" so I shut it off. I guess Creative thinks that everyone likes to carry a desktop computer with them when they go on trips, or that they've added enough problems to the player that they wont use up all the power till they get back. The only way you can charge it without a computer is by buying a battery charger separately, something which was included in a lot of earlier products.
Not being able to find a "Creative" charger, I bought one designed to charge any USB device. I plugged it in, and all I got was a flashing blue light for 24 hours, which was when I finally decided to call it quits. No matter what I did it wouldn't turn on, the reset button did nothing, and all I got was a flashing blue light.
I get home a few days later (without any good music to listen to on the way home) and plug it into my PC and get the same problem. All of this after the recommended firmware update mind you.
I decided to do some reading on the creative forums to try and solve a problem the majority of Zen Vision and other product owners are experiencing. All I found in the forums was a large group of disappointed individuals. The only posts made by Creative staff were regarding refraining from dropping F bombs. Apparently you even have to pay for tech support?! Is this some kind of sick joke?
The message I'm getting from this is that creative is purposely making defecti've products, not only to save money, but also make money from all the people needing tech support.
It wouldn't surprise me if this post was deleted simply because Creative doesn't like having to face facts. Anyways, sorry for the long post, but I felt it necessary to help vent out my frustration with a company I always looked up to.
After this experience, I will be refraining from buying any more Creative products until they clean up their problems. I'd like to hear from other people as well. I'll be boycotting this company, who's with me?

I've never had any problems with mine ever. The only freeze I've had was from a file I recorded on tivo, cut commericals out in movie maker and then re-encoded to the lowest possible bit rate that that zens nati've resolution supports. Try turning your sensitivity in the touch pad down. Sometimes if you have it up to high you may have a chance of doing that (although I have only had slow response, instead of a freeze by doing that).
You also have to compare to all of the other products out there: Ipod and Zune are a lot worse with pathetic little problems (annoyances). I didn't pay for tech support?

Displaying only one photo at a time

something crazy has happened in my iPhoto program.
i have been using it for years now, but i cannot escape this situation.
my display preference was to see the rolls listed chronologically and from this screen i could open any roll, and by clicking on one of the revealed images, i would view that image, with a scroll list of the rest of the images in my library above that.
the problem now is that when i open iPhoto, i am seeing only one image in the "Edit" window, with the active blue frame around it. there are no images to scroll through horizontally above this blue framed picture. there is a scroll bar to its right that takes me through my entire library a single image at a time.
how do i restore the main screen so that i have a representation of all the film rolls? how do i get out of the single-image/blue border mode i am stuck in?

On the bottom right of the window is a slider. Slides the dot to the left to make the image smaller so you can see more than one across.

How to display only one row in report when...

I've a report display in which i've 3 fields EBELN, LIFNR , MENGE. EBELN, LIFNR are from EKKO table and MENGE id from EKPO table .
         On clicking the EBELN there will be getting another report in which we get EBELN,EBELP and MATNR and MENGE from EKPO table .
       The problem is while displaying 1st report if the purchase order has two items in EKPO table then its displaying two times. How can i get only one time and the MENGE should be sum of those two item prices.

Problem sending only one byte with ibwrt()

If I send only one byte of data with ibwrt() command, it doesn't work with whatever settings (EOS,EOI,..) I chose. I got the error (ENOL : no listener).
Did somebody get the same problem ?

ENOL indicates that there is no listener on the bus. This is probably not related to the settings on the controller. Are you correctly addressing a device to be a listener? If so, is there some indication on the device that it is addressed to listen?
Also, your post seems to indicate that sending more than one byte works. Is this true?

Duke's bookstore2 displays only one book title

When I run Duke's bookstore2 from the Tutorial (Chapter 12: JavaServer Pages Technology: The Example JSP Pages), I'm not getting any error messages, but instead of seeing the graphical "Duke's Bookstore" heading followed by a horizontal line and "Please choose from our selections:" the only display I'm actually seeing at http://localhost:1024/bookstore2/bookstore is this single link:

and when I View Source for the page, I see only this:

It seems to be displaying only the contents of one data set, rather than the data for all the books as part of a complete HTML page. (But when I open the pointbase console and "select * from books;" I see details for all 7 books in the table. So the full table is populated in the database.)
When I click on that single link, I go to this URL:
http://dar2000:1024/bookstore2/bookstore?bookId=203
where I still see only one line with that one book title and nothing else on the page.

Actually, I did add the prelude and coda pages in the JSP Properties tab.
But, when I entered "/*.jsp" under URL Patterns on that same JSP Properties page, I did not erase first the "/URL_properties" that appeared there by default, so I ended up with "/URL_properties/*.jsp" in that field.
When I reduced that to "/*.jsp" the complete page displayed, including the bookstore header, clock applet, Start Shopping link, copyright info, etc.

Multi Language- Picklist fields are displayed only one language for Reports

Hi!
I am working on Siebel On Demand with Multi Language (English and Spanish) and it works well for web interface, the automatic translation for picklist works properly.
However when I create any report (with any Record Type) the fields setup with picklist are displayed only in spanish language even though I am on English mode.
Have you any reference(s) or previous experience(s) on that?

Hi,
in reports the language of the picklists corresponds always to the company default language.
The only solution I now (its really static and not so nice):
Create one report per language and change the picklist field by using CASE statements...you see its hard to refresh if you have lots of values :)

Problem in only one account

*The "E" key does not work.*
The strange thing is: *the problem is only on the "Lawrence" account.*
We have:
1) Swapped out the keyboard.
2) Swapped out the USB extender
3) Removed the power connection for 1 min then replaced and re-booted
4) Swapped the USB port.
There was no change.
4) *Logged in as "Guest" and the "E" key works fine.*
5) *"E" key works on the password to log in as "Lawerence" but not in any of the programs (FCP, Word, Text Editor.)*
The only thing I can think is there is some kind of corruption within his account.....????
So the only thing I thought to do is to create another account for him, drag all of his working files to it. Still. This is pretty strange.
Any suggestions?

Try going to /Users/lawrence/Library/Preferences/ByHost and locate all of the com.apple.HIToolbox.XXXXXXXXXXXX.plist files. Trash them. Then log out/in and see if the problem persists.

Day View Event List: How to Display Only One Day

I love Day View in the calendar, but I find it confusing to have the whole week's list of events on the left list column.
How do I change it so that I display only that day's events?

What troubleshooting steps have you taken?

- Quit the App by opening multi-tasking bar, and swiping the App upward to make it disappear. (For iOS 6, holding down the icon for the App for about 3-5 seconds, and then tap the red circle with the white minus sign.)
- Relaunch the App and try again.
- Restart the device. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1430
- Reset the device. (Same article as above.)
- Reset All Settings (Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings)
- Restore from backup. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1766 (If you don't have a backup, make one now, then skip to the next step.)
