Problem in accessing IWDPDFObject from EJB(Webservice)

Hi All,
I want to use "IWDPDFObject" api for creating pdfs dynamically, this has to be used in a EJB module project which is converted in webservice. In the EJBModule project i have added the reference locally in the build path but how do I give the runtime reference?.
In the "application-j2ee-engine.xml" of the Enterprise application project i have added the reference of "tc/wd/webdynpro" which has that "_webdynpro_pdfobject.jar". Still it doesn't work.
Is there any limitation on accessing webdynpro jar from EJB(webservice)?.
Kindly help.
Regards,
Vishal

Dear LN,

Then presumably to use SSL you would do
NameService=iioploc://localhost:7002/NameService (assuming default ports) ?Since we don't support CSIv2 as yet I don't think SSL will work with a
C++ orb client. I forget how we specify SSL in a java client for IIOP,
but yes I think its through the connection rather than some iiops URL.
The INS stuff isn't supported by the 1.3 Sun SDK CosNaming stuff tho'. Only IOR,
iiop and iiopname as PROVIDER_URL values can be used with
com.sun.jndi.cosnaming.CNCtxFactory for bootstrapping the Sun ORB as far as IRight, and even those generate an old-style INIT bootstrap
request. The 1.3 stuff is very old and incorrect, I haven't checked
whether 1.4 supports corbaloc, it certainly supports GIOP 1.2.
But even so we still support those kind of requests, they key is that
they are interoperable - you can use the same URL between restarts of
the server, with host2ior you cannot.
know. I think the WLS RMI/iiop docs and examples still recommend using this forUnfortunately the RMI-IIOP doc rewrite hasn't happened as yet. We
continue to support the JDK context (because supporting a pure JDK
client is a worthy goal for customers who want thin clients) but you
will get superior results using WLInitialContextFactory and an
appropriate IIOP URL (including corbaloc support and security in
SP1). In addition you should never use the Sun context factory on a
server, that will case the JDK Orb to be used instead of our RMI-IIOP
runtime.
client access (?). Clients will still have to use host2iior to get the two IOR s
if they want to do SSL I suppose. Or is it possible to do iiop://localhost:7002

• Problem in accessing the ejbs

HI ,
I am New to EJB. Here i am getting a problem n accessing the resoucess which are deployed in weblogic. Here i want to access the resoucess from a jsp. So i declared a web.xml. In that what i need to write. can anybody help me what i can specify in web.xml
Thank you.

Stop asking the same question again and again. It will decrease your chances of actually getting some help, because your rudeness will make people angry and less inclined to help.
Your whole approach sounds wrong, but that's your problem. I'm betting that you don't need EJBs. You shouldn't write JSPs without JSTL. Totally, utterly wrong.
But if you insist, I would recommend that you actually get a book or some documentation that shows you how to call an EJB from a web app. Since you're using WebLogic, maybe reading their documentation will help:

Go up to the top of your screen on iTunes and click on 'Store'. Then go down to 'Authorize This Computer'. That should cover part of it unless you've already authorized a bunch of other computers to use your account. If that's the case, you'll have to go to one of those computers and click the button just below it to 'deauthorize your account' from that computer. If you're not able to access the store, check your internet connection to make sure you are connected. Hope this helps.. good luck!

Ask the ACDSee Pro support personnel.
With iPhoto that message means the library is a referenced library (photo not copied when imported into iPhoto's structure) and the source file is not where it was when first added to the library. I don't know how ACDSee works. Does it have a referenced mode as opposed to copying photos into its structure?

I usually can eventually access the router, but it is way to much trouble. However, I use my iPad hundreds of times more often than my laptop.

Are you typing http:// in front of the IP address of the router? e.g. http://192.168.0.1
Sometimes, and with some routers it doesn't seem to like it if you miss off the http://

Go to Microsoft Product Support Services and perform a title search for the words HTTP and 401.

Open IIS Help, which is accessible in IIS Manager (inetmgr),
and search for topics titled About Security, Authentication, and About Custom Error Messages.

As a workaround I can start the application in debug mode, log into the Weblogic console and stop then restart the deployment and this issue goes away, sort of a pain but it does work.

• Problem with access to SipFactory from jsp-pages in JBoss environment

Hello!
I have an installation of the OCMS 10.1.3.3. deployed into a JBoss (jboss-4.0.5.GA) environment. Unfortunately I have a problem with accessing the SipFactory from a jps-page. Encouraged by the "messagesender" example I tried to get an instance of SipFactory from my jsp-page simply by calling:
SipFactory sipFactory = (SipFactory) application.getAttribute(SipServlet.SIP_FACTORY);
But unfortunately there seems to be no attribute "SipServlet.SIP_FACTORY" and I only get a null pointer. I have also tried running that code in the orignal messagesender example but it didn't work either. So I wonder if this should definetely work in a JBoss environment or if this might be a known problem. Is there anything that I could check/do regarding this problem? I suppose there must be an oracle module which should take care of making the SipFactory availabe after it is deployed. Perhaps something went wrong during the deployment?!
Best regards,
Tim

Hi
On JBoss, OCMS does not support converge applications.
I.e the SipFactory can be retrieved from the servlet context when running on OC4J.
Instead the SipFactory can be found in JNDI as described in the Developer's Guide:
"External Access to SIP Servlets
To enable convergent applications between SIP and HTTP, the OCMS Container allows you to get access to the javax.servlet.sip.SipFactory by looking it up through JNDI. The SIP Factory will be registered under the same name as the display name of your SIP servlet as illustrated in Example 2–12. The <display-name> in the sip.xml in this case must be "My sip app".
Example 2–12 Accessing the Data for a SIP Session through JNDI
InitialContext ic = new InitialContext();
SipFactory sipFactory = (SipFactory)ic.lookup("sip/My sip app");"

• Problem in Accessing the EJB

I want to access remote EJB from my Portal Service.
the EJB and the portal Service run on a separated machines.
here is what i wrote:
Properties properties = new Properties();
properties.put(Context.INITIAL_CONTEXT_FACTORY,
"com.sap.engine.services.jndi.InitialContextFactoryImpl");
properties.put(Context.PROVIDER_URL, "p030633:50004");
InitialContext context = new InitialContext(properties);
String name = "sap.com/GDS/GtinManager";
GtinManagerHome home = (GtinManagerHome)
javax.rmi.PortableRemoteObject.narrow.narrow(
context.lookup(name), GtinManagerHome.class);
gm = (GtinManager)home.create();
i run this code from java application and it works.
but in portal i get this error:
"com.sap.engine.services.jndi.persistent.exceptions.NameNotFoundException: Path to object does not exist at GDS, the whole lookup name is sap.com/GDS/GtinManager."
Thanks

Hello,
if you NW 04 SP7 or higher, please look this document
https://www.sdn.sap.com/sdn/index.sdn?contenttype=url&content=/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sap.km.cm.docs/documents/a1-8-4/how to access an ejb from a portal component.mht
else in EP6 SP2, it is more difficult to access to an EJB because the portal have an other classloader sysem and other JNDI context
