Problem in correlating multiple msgs

hi
In my BPM scenario, splittign of msgs is happening.I am able to send files after splitting to the target.For each file an acknowlegment is generated which needs to be correlated to the resp. target msg.
My problem is that when i place multiple files, the bpm does correlation b/w the ack file and the target file only for the last target file.
I have an idea.If we send the files to the target parallely, will correlation work for each of them?For it should i use 'ParForEach' mode?
I tried it but it doesn't work...any idea where the problem lies and how to debug it?
i'm currently using for each mode for sendign the file to the target.After this block i place my receiver step to receive ack.

i am using multiline container since i am splitting a file to many target files.So sending multiple target files is not a problem.
The prob is the ack isnt a multiline object.Each ack is separate for each target file.
I saw in SAP BASIS/system patterns where it sends files to diff receivers parallely and get and ack back for each..There ParForEach is used.The scenario is similar to my req.However i cant just use the same thing here.

I am able to pass the Bind variables of Array type for : 0 , using Steve's ArrayOfStringDomain example. (ArrayOfStringDomain) .
But after passing value to second bind parameter ie.. :1 .
I am getting the error as follows.

java.sql.SQLSyntaxErrorException: ORA-00932: inconsistent datatypes: expected - got CHAR.
I tried to set
setWhereClauseParam(1,11); // 11 is Number
setWhereClauseParam(0,arr); // arr is arr = new Array(descriptor,conn,deptid); for in parameter.
But of no use , Please let me know if any thing missing form me or have any another solutions. Also please provide me any example if have.

hi.
but when using non-Oracle named parameter binding styles as you've done (ie. , :1), regardless of what number you give each bind variable, they are sequenced 0, 1, 2 etc. As such your bind variable :1 is the 0th parameter, and your bind variable is the 1st parameter.Your statment is correct.
:1 i used was actually on 0th position and :0 was on 1 position. Like you said in sequence 0,1,2 etc. Now i get the answer and i corrected My mistake by assigning right values to right binding variable. and problem just solve.

I have a problem with correlation on QA systems!!!!
I have exported file (SCVW and CS) from DEV system and imported into QAL system!
I ve changed the parameters of CCs!!
But messages on sxi_moni doesn't meet correlation!!!!
The same interface on DEV system work fine, everything it's ok!!!
Everyone can help me? What could be the problem?

In this case, the ImageLoader.as works only on the last movie clip from the for loop. For example, if i am trying to load three image in three movie clips namely img_mc1,img_mc2 and img_mc3 using the for loop and ImageLoader.as, I am getting the image loaded in the third movie clip only img_mc.
See at the same time, If i uncomment onething in the for loop that is
//imgLoader=new ImageLoader;
its working like a charm. But I know creating class objects in a for loop is not a good idea and also its causes some other problems in my application.
So, help to get rid out of this problem.

   I am facing a problem while posting multiple documents from a flat file in FB70 thourgh BDC batch input by using session method. However, the session is getting terminated after posting the first document. Please clarify my problem.

This is a horrible way to return the contents of a table.
Are you doing this for educational purpose, or ... what is your goal here? If you just want to return a result set to a client you'd want to look in to using a REF CURSOR and not a bunch of arrays combined with horribly procedural (slow) code.

Interface with multiple msg.PM

Hi, Experts,
I’m considering the parallel migration to FS-PM from legacy system using migration solution.
As far as I know, FS-PM has the business validation step (check data, recalculation the premium) after finishing the technical validation.
To deal with the parallel approach for the business validation in the FS-PM, I would like to know that FS-PM can interface with the multiple msg.PM system.
It means that 2 or 3 msg.PM can connect with a FS-PM system to reduce the migration time (or load balancing).
My assumption may be wrong in the parallel migration. But I really want that multiple interface with msg.PM can be possible or not in terms of the technical aspects.
Please let me know if you have some idea or relevant experiences.

Problem Rating / Deleting Multiple Images

I have a Problem Rating / Deleting Multiple Images at the same time. For the last 2 weeks I have been unable to select a group of images and rate them all - I have to select images indiviually for the rating to work. This also is the case when trying to delete images.
Anyone know if this is a bug?

Hit 'S' which toggles 'Primary Only' mode - this swaps between applying ratings,deletions to multiple images or just the one with the thicker selection border.

Problems during Correlation

Hi,
I got a problem during correlation.
I activated correlation in a ccBPM send step. In the Work Item I checked the created object which contains the correct number.
When XI receives the answer, a PE is found, but the message runs red.
Object 'ZXI_PROXY_...' has status 'Waiting because of e'. In the Event Trace I see a red mark 'Feedback after error'. The corresponding message is 'No correlation instance found'.
I also checked in the payload of the receive message the value of the field, I defined for correlation. It is the same value as in the correlation object.
Has anyone an idea where the mistake in my correlation could be?

Maybe there is some issue with the type of the value.
Try making the correaltion a String and giving this shot ( or have you done this? )
also try a syntax check of your BPM and chekc the status of BPM in SXI_CACHE

In the project role, we are doing staffing ( assigning BP). While assigning the BP's getting below errors.

Message no. DPR_BUPA_LINK004
Diagnosis
The validity period '10.02.2008'-'01.03.2008' for the assignment of project role Product Manager and ' Rakesh Pradhan' overlaps with the validity period of the assignment ''.
However, the project role type does not allow several staffings to be edited at the same time in the project role.
System Response
The system does not allow this constellation of data when saving.
Procedure
Check and correct the start and finish dates of the staffings affected.
Request you to advise in fiixng the issue.

For multiple staffings in the same time frame, check the option of 'Edit in Parallel' in the Role Type settings in SPRO.

Problem with ioinning multiple Threads

Hi,
I have multiple sub Threads T1, T2, T3.... started by main Thread T. After starting each sub Thread, I stored them in the HashMap. When finish starting all Threads, I want to join each sub Thread to my main Thread.
The problem is when T3 join with T, it hanged forever! Here is my code:

In my method:
... doing s/t
HashMap tMap = startThreads();
joinThreads(tMap);
... doing s/t else (never excecuted!!!)
My purpose is staring multi Threads at the same time and executing some code after they all die.
If I join my sub Thread right after creating it, then the other sub Thread couldn't started until subThread 1 dies!
If I don't join the sub Thread but remove it from the thread Map when it's not alive then my code executed perfectly. I want to apply join method with my mutiple Threads, how ????

What I don't understand here is why the main Thread
does not join all the sub Threads ?If you're getting a ConcurrentModificationException while iterating the list of threads, then that's why.
Why main Thread
has to wait for sub Thread 1 to finish before joinning
next sub Threads?It has to join all of the threads. That means it has to wait for all of them to finish. In order to wait for all of the threads it has to wait for the first thread.
I'm 100% sure that my sub Threads in
the threadList are valid and alive since I already
veriffied with other methods.I don't see what that has to do with your problem.
I already set my joinThreads method as synchronized,
how come I still have ConcurrentModificationException?Because the list was modified concurrently.
How can I fix this error?Stop modifying the list concurrently. You haven't posted all of the relevant code, so I can't offer any clues about how to do that.

What's the problem with having multiple users with the same UID?

I've got three edit systems connected to the SAN using open directory off our server.
I want all edit systems to have read/write access to everything created. I don't need to protect anything from any of the systems. With all three systems logged on using the same user, I never have to change permissions.
The other cool thing about this is that Final Cut Pro will let me know if someone else is modifying a project that I have open with the warning:
“The project "projectName" has been modified externally. If another user is working on it, saving will overwrite their changes. Do you still want to save?”
This sounds great, right?
RED FLAG!!!! Apple gives the warning in this article:

"You should not allow two users with the same UID to access an Xsan volume at the same time."
So why is it bad to have two (or more) users with the same UID?
I can see that in some situations it means that you can't prevent people from read/write privileges. But I don't want to restrict privileges.
What am I missing? With all of these warnings, it seems like if I do this my edit systems could all explode or something. Please help me understand the potential ramifications of having three users have the same UID.

1) If you have OD set up and "editor" has UID 1111, then when they log in to any machine that's bound to OD as editor, they will get UID 1111. Therefore, there won't be any of these permission errors. This is typically the recommended approach.
2) I assume you mean "You'd prefer to not using open directory?" Whatever the case, OD isn't mandatory with Xsan -- it's just that with multiple user accounts, managing them centrally tends to be easier. For 3 or 4 accounts and 3 or 4 machines maybe it's no big deal. If you go larger, it could get a lot more complicated. That said, if you set it up such that each machine has the exact same set of users (as you said, Mary = UID 502, Fred = UID 503, William = UID 504), then you can do what you want. Mary can log in from multiple machines at the same time, and in general you won't have permissions problems. Of course, if you try and read and write the same file from multiple workstations at the same time, you will get file locking issues, which will prohibit somebody from successfully writing the file.
File locking issues are different from general permissions errors. The former basically says "hey, someone else is editing this file. Therefore I won't let you edit it right now... you can read it if you want though." Permissions means somebody saves it, and Xsan thinks you saved it and own the file, when you really don't.

Is there any problem to use multiple threads to send email with JavaMail

Dear all,
I am using JavaMail 1.3.2 to send emails with SMTP, it works very well for a long time.
But one day, I found that the email service hanged and I could never send email again until I restart the tomcat. I found that the reason was a deadlock had been created, the required resource for sending email had not been released.
I guess the error is due to multiple threads are sending email at the same time. I made a test to create seperate thread for sending each email. After few days, I found this deadlock happened again. So, my question is: Can I use JavaMail with multiple threads? If not, I may need to sychronized all the thread that using JavaMail. I would like to make sure this is the reason for causing the deadlock problem.
Here is part of my code for using JavaMail:
transport = session.getTransport("smtp");
transport.connect(email_host, smtp_user, smtp_pass);
message.saveChanges();
transport.sendMessage(message,message.getAllRecipients());
which is very standard call, and it worked well for a long time.

It seems that these happened after call the method transport.sendMessage() or message.updateChanges()
, and the underlying implementation may require the JRE StandardCharsets object. But the object had been locked and never be released. So, the sendMessage() or updateChanges() can't be completed.
Please give me some helps if you have any idea about it.

Note that the Nightly build gets updated daily (and sometimes more than once in case of a respin) and it is always possible that something goes wrong and it doesn't work properly, so be prepared for issues if you decide to stay with the Nightly build and make sure to have the current release with its own profile installed as well in case of problems.
