Problem in getting appraisal template

Hi All,
I am facing a problem in template configuration.
The appraisal template created in PHAP_CATALOG_PA is released but it is not getting created when i use transaction APPCREATE.It gives an error saying "NO APPRAISAL MODEL DEFINED IN THE SYSTEM.
I checked in spro but couldn't get any breakthrough.
So please suggest me the steps which i need to carry out in configuration.

You can use either of the BADIs depending on your requirement.

Please read the Standard documetation available with them using SE18 transaction in SRM system.
Which SRM version you are using ?

Problem in getting the function template object from the repository.

Hi all,
I have created a par file. I have a JCO connection in that. I am facing problems in getting the function template object from the repository. This thing is running successfully when i try to deploy it in Tomcat. But i am facing problems when i try to deploy it in SAP EP 6.0.
Below is statement which is giving error after being deployed to SAP EP6.
This is executing fine when executed in Tomcat Server.

This sounds like a bug in the smart upload code. I have used this stuff before, but it's probably an older version, so maybe they broke something. Enumerations aren't usually guaranteed to keep things in any particular order. I would say for now, make a method to take the enumeration and a param name to find the value. And write to the JSPSmart people.

Appraisal template transporting problem

Hi Gurus!
Appraisal template transport work only between mandants of development system. It doesn't work for other systems ( QAS, productive)
Category and category Group was transported earlier.
I did number ranges for objects VA,VB,VC. So there are no such objects in QAS system.
Report RHSOBJCH was done.
What else should I do?

I have found SAP Note 1475428 - Transport appraisal Basic settings
2-Following entries must exist in T77S0:
If LSO is installed:
TRSP STOBJ 'PDST_LSO'
TRSP WFOBJ 'PDWS_LSO'
If LSO is not installed:
TRSP STOBJ 'PDST'
TRSP WFOBJ 'PDWS'

Performance Management - Appraisal Template is not getting transported

Hello All,
Every year we create a new Appraisal template, where in we use to transport the appraisal template by right clicking on it, change status to Release first and then right click again and transport appraisal document.
But this year transporting the document is not working out. It's not showing that template in target source.

Run the program RHSOBJCH.
It shows infotype tables with inconsistencies like IT5025 & IT5026. Adjust/fixe these inconsistencies, with this the system automatically transport the contents in those infotypes.

Training and Event Management - Appraisal Template

URGENT: TRANSPORTING APPRAISAL TEMPLATE

Dear Friends,
I had created an appraisal template in my SandBox development client.
I then downloaded it and then uploaded it in the Golden Masters Client.
I also created a transport request at the time of saving the template in Golden Masters.
In my Testing client, I used SCC1 to transport the template and other appraisal settings from Golden Masters to the testing client.
Now, when I execute Tcode: APPCREATE in my testing client, the systems returns a message "No template found".
What might be the problem?
How can I solve it?
Please help, its urgent!!!

For transporting from one server to another server dont use scc1 use se09,se10 for using transport request and then try yaar definetely you will get i think so you are mirroring from one client to one client you are not transporting.

Configure HRHAP00_GET_LIST_FLT BADI implementation in appraisal template using OOHAP_BASIC T-code

Hi Experts,
I want to modify List of Incomplete Appraisal Documents in appraisal template, for which I have found a BADI HRHAP00_GET_LIST_FLT (Displayed in further Badis section of RHHAP_BADI_OVERVIEW program).
I have created implementation of this BADI but I am unable to see BADI in OOHAP_BASIC transaction (I have checked all the enhancement areas).
Please let me know how can I configure the implementation of BADI HRHAP00_GET_LIST_FLT in OOHAP_BASIC T-code.
(I have also checked that BADI implementation was not getting triggered by simply activating the implementation)

How to unreleased Appraisal templates which are alreay being in used

Hi Experts,
I am looking for the solution how to unreleased appraisal templates which are already released and also used by the Employees for their PDD process.
We are facing one problem in PDD templates, so we want to make some changes in already released templates.
Is there any way or solution by any Functional method/settings or by ABAP program?
Please reply as it is very critical and important for us to solve ASAP.

Now that might work (actually it will work). But you need to be 100% sure that your changes will not infleunce the appraisal process. Because it is not that hard to cause unrepairable data inconsistencies on already existing appraisal documents!!
There is a very good reason for not being able to unrelease templates once they are in use!
One is that you can create incorrect appraisal documents from a business point of view.
Say your document end appraisal is a 1-10 scale, one being the worst. The appraisal gets a 3 as final score, meaning in this scale quite bad. Now you unrelease the template and change the used scale to a 1-4 scale. Your very bad employee turns all of a sudden in a quite good employee!
Even worse, you can create database inconsistencies on document level. Just remove elements or columns from the template and you will get very strange results after releasing again.
I don't recommend changing templates once documents are based on them but if you use this option then be carefull!

Only 1 LSO Appraisal Template avail for assigning to HRLSO TEMPL

We are currently building LSO Training Management in SAP ERP 2005.
Objective Settings and Appraisals is also used concurrently.
The following appraisal templates has been configured in PHAP_CATALOG under Category Group SAP Learning Solution
Category Group / Category / Template

 Classroom Training - Anonymous (standard SAP provided)
 Customer Course Evaluation (customer specific)
 Training course appraisal: WBT

I would like to set the default appraisal template to Customer Course Evaluation whenever I activate appraisals in transaction LSO_PSV2 from Participation > Appraisals > Create whilst clicking on the course.
In order to acheive the above, in the config setting for HRLSO TEMPL , I will need to assign the appraisal template.
The problem is the only appraisal template that allows me to select when I click on the search help is Web-based Training. Not any others.
Is there any config setting that needs to be taken care of so as to get the search help top pop up Customer Course Evaluation for my config selection as well ?

I tested the issue and after my investigation I found out the following:
I created a new template and did the steps you described. In the T77S0 i wanted to have the new template in the list while pushing the F4 on the switch HRLSO TEMPL, but only the one was shown which is the current...
I went to PP01, checked the Serial Number of the Appraisal template I created and entered it into the HRLSO TEMPL manually, than pushed "Save" -> it worked correct, no error messages came.
Now once again went back to the switch, pushed on F4 and there was the bug -> only the new template I created was on the list...
Thus our SAP internal systems are up-to-date with the newest patches, I suppose that this one is probably a system malfucntion.
I would like to suggest you to post an OSS message tot the SAP to the component of PE-LSO-TM. If our official investigations are done and the issue is considered as a failure, we will release for the customers an SAP correction note.
I hope this helps somehow converge you to the right solution!

Weighting total on VA appraisal template level

I am struggling with one of our appraisal templates. I would like the object VA to be able to show the total of the KPA weightings. The user has requested that when he puts in the weightings he wants to see what the total is (almost like a calculator).
E.g. VA = 40
           VB weighting = 20
           VB wieghting = 20
E.g. VA = 60
           VB weighting = 55
           VB wieghting = 5
Just to show the user what number the weightings have added up to.
I have changed the template settings to allow the weighting to be maintianed (required) on VA level, but it still remains greyed out. Is there something i am doing incorrectly?

I experience a problem when trying to put a total on the weightings columns, even if i tick it on the template settings to display and put in the value determination "Total" it still remains greyed out. Is there a way that we can get the weighting total to show on the VA level. I'm not sure why it seems to be greyed out even though i have ticked it as a display or a required output.

OSA - ERROR while downloading \ uploading appraisal template

May be some of you came across the same problem: when appraisal template using object Q as reference object for VB or VC is being uploading into the other client it is copied with error. The relationship 607 between objects is not ceated in the other client, so the object is not correct. Is it a standard solution

Appraisal template standard buttons not working via ESS/MSS

Hi experts,
The error which I am facing in appraisal template is as follows
When I click on any button on appraisal template no action takes place.
Kindly let me know how can I resolve this error.
we are using BSP application HAP_DOCUMENT.
according to me page fragment 'document_buttons.htm' (Method CONVERT_BUTTON_TO_UI) contains the code for button creation and button handling
the page fragment 'document_buttons.htm' is getting triggered when page is initialized but it is not triggering when button is clicked.
Additional info that might be useful to resolve the issue:
1) While viewing appraisal template's web layout in t-code PHAP_CATALOG_PA.
I am facing following script error.
This error reappears when I click on any standard button For eg SAVE
2) We are currently using IE 8
3) We recently upgraded ECC system from ECC 6.0 to ECC 6.0 / EHP 6 (ECC 6.6)
4) I checked SICF and corresponding services are active

Design2008 service is inactive in my system.when activated temporarily I was not able to see previous page (Blank page was displayed) in my appraisal application.
For BSP application HAP_document, i checked SICF->default host->SAP->BC->BSP->SAP->HAP_document.This service is active.
The image which I have attached with my question is appraisal template's web layout in t-code PHAP_CATALOG_PA.

Appraisal Template+Overall Ranking

I am creating an Appraisal Template in ECC-6.00. My Appraisal Template format is
1. The syllabus was intersting
1- strongly agree
2-Disagree
3-Neutral
4-Agree
5-Strongly Agree
Now after these all when I am trying to release my appraisal template I am getting following error
1."Status "in process" or substatus "part appraisal in process" are not assigned to category
2.Appraisal template can never be closed
Second we were working on BS appraisal template so for that there is a customized reprt for overall ranking now in OSA which table is storing overall ranking which I need to modify in my customized programme.
Please help me out my golive date is near....award point is confirm...please

To your configuration. It is independant of your structure. It seems you did not setup your category correctly. Statusses are missing in the category configuration which you try to use in the template below. The second point. You don't have a status change that puts the document from status x to the 'completed' status.
I would suggest to create an example category and underneed that an example template. Then you can see how you could configure both.
Your last point I did not understand. If you can explain it to me I will try to answer that one as well.

I have created the New Appraisal Template for 2015 review in Dev. Now i need to transport the Apparisal template into QA system. Do i need to create the transport for Category as well or directly i can create the transport for Apparisal template?

The below should work.
IMG>>Personnel Management>>Personnel Development>>Objective Setting and Appraisals>>Transport Template and Dependent Configuration Data
Tcode: PHAP_TRANSPORT.
Enter the Appraisal Template ... include the Category, if required and provide the TR.
Once you execute, you will get list of all Appraisal elements (VA, VB, VC), choose required ones, and include them in the TR.
Please click on the 'i' button to read more about this report (Courtesy: SAP documentation).
With this program, you can transport all of the related objects and their related data to another system (such as a live system or client) for an appraisal template (object type VA) or appraisal process ((flexible appraisal process or predefined Performance Management process); (process element object type VH)).
