How to stop transferring Blocked Sales Order requirement to MRP?
We have scenario there we entered 100 line on orders, due to one or other reason we need to block the orders and do not want to transfer the requirement to MRP till the time the particular blocked removed manually.
How to do this? There is suggestion to use VOFM - Routine for transfer requirement. But not sure as that is the solution.
    Thanks
    PP

    Hi,
Define a new delivery block whee check the Confirmation and assign the block to the order. System will not pass the requirement to the MRP.
Path: LE >>Shipping >> Deliveries >> Define reason for blocking.

  • Release strategy in sales order is required before MRP run

    Hi Experts,
My requirement is Release strategy in sales order is required before MRP run. My client is doing the following process:
    1) Creation of Sale order (MTO).  Ex: User creates 10 sale orders per day.
    2) MD04- Stock Requirement List. All 10 Sale orders should be displayed. So no problem here.
    3) MD50-Make to order-Planning . Here when user gives the sale order number and sale order item and press enter, then only the released sale orders should be allowed and the rest sale orders it should throw a error message and it should not allow to process further.
How this situation can be addressed in SAP.
Kindly post some hints and comments.
    Regards,
    Kiran.

    Hi Kiran,
Define and Assign status profile BS02 at sales order detail (line item) lets say with create and release status
SD>Sales>Sales documents>Define and assign status profile
Have create status as default while creating SO with item
And do a user exit change for MD50 with ABAP consultant help and release it when user keys in SO and item.
For other line item I believe it will give an error
Pls try and update if it solves your requirment
    Regards,

  • No sales orders with MRP-relevant requirements were found MD04

    Hello MM Enthusiast,
We are in process of EHP upgradation and I need to replicate the following error message,
No sales orders with MRP-relevant requirements were found
    Error message MF 336
Please let me know how to get the above message in S environment.
I have gone through the already discussed thread (http://scn.sap.com/thread/3460655) but couldn't able to get the message MF 336.
Based on your response I can replicate and apply the causing / resolving note given by SAP AG.
Looking forward to your valuable input to proceed further on this issue
    Cheers,
    Kumar S

This issue was solved using a different availability checking rule in MRP3 of the material master.
the old checking rule  had a requirements summary, while the new was for individual requirements, this setting is defined in OVZ2 customizing transaction.
Hence you need to enter a checking rule in your material master which has a A as sales requirement in OVZ2.
then create 2 or more new sales orders for this item for the same delivery date.
After that you should get the error in MD04

  • Problem in Gross Requirment in MRP

I m facing a problem on my client, while caluclating the "gross requirment" in MRP calculation system does not take into account the forecast figure for the month which is already passed, my client want to see the gross requirment inclusive of forecast for the past month too, is there any way ?? any customization ?? querry or report??

    Dear Mr Hussain,
Unfortunately, once you run the MRP for a particular month, the forecast for the previous months are disregarded.
You can check the document regarding MRP called:
    MRP in Release 2004 A
that can be found in the How to Guide for 2004a in the Documentation Centre for SAP Business One on the portal.
As far as I am aware there is no workaround.

  • Open Purchase Orders not considered as requirement for MRP Run

    Hi ,
We are facing a issue of Open Purchase orders not appeared in Stock requirements list and also it is not considered as requirement for MRP Run against reservation.
As aresult for a reservation demand of 10 units we are ending with Open POs 10 units and a additional planned order 10 units.
    Material Type : ERSA
MRP Type : PD (or VB)
Lot size : EX (  HB if MRP Type is VB)
Could you please throw some light to correct our settings to MRP to consider Open POs?

Can you check to see if there is a re-order point set up for this materia? That could be causing the problem too.

  • Scheduling Agreement -Schedule line should not pass the requirement to MRP

    Hi Friends!
As we all know the scheduling agreements is outline agreement with future schedule lines, with this system will  pass the requirements to MRP for the schedule line which is even after 5 years, so my requirement is  if the schedule line date is above 15 days from the current date then requirement should not pass to MRP.
solution which we gave is, SA initially will determine the schedule line category as  CN (which will not transfer the requirement) and  a batch job program will run daily and it will check for each schedule line if any of the schedule is with in the 15 days from the current date then it will change the schedule line category from CN to CP.
Now the problem is , by using Batch Job which program I have to call to change the schedule line category?????
    1. we tried BAPI_SALESORDER_CHANGE but when we are changing the CN to CP it is not performing ATP where as if we do manually it is performing.
    2. we tried BDC but here also we facing some strange problem i.e. while recording the ATP screen is not populating where it is coming while doing manual.
Can someone let me know which one program we should call in Batch job to do this change.
    Regards
    Nath

    Hi nath,
i also failed in changing shedule line category in userexit and in BAPI.
in one case, i succeded in doing it with a bdc after MV45AFZZ / userexit_save just bevore the datas are reset but after the commit-work is processed.
the other possibility is, to change the accepted amount in userexit RV03VFZZ / USEREXIT_AVAILABILITY_OUT.
    3. possibility is, to block the order with a delivery - block , same as the credit-control-block. This block can be set in MV45AFZZ or perhaps in BAPI too.

  • Commit error while transferring Sales order Document to GTS

    Hello,
We faced a transfer error while transferring sales order document to GTS.
When I debugged the code function /SAPSLL/API_6800_SYNCH is called. In this function, /SAPSLL/CUHD_MAINTAIN_SINGLE is called with parameter lv_no_commit = 'X'. When I checked why its value is 'X', I saw that if the RFC destination and the current system are the same, then lv_no_commit = 'X', (means if the R3 and the GTS are in the same server, same client.) In debug mode I set the value of lv_no_commit to space, and then it works. It creates the GTS document.
We are also transferring billing documents and it works fine. When I checked what is the difference between transferring sales order document and transferring Billing document, I saw that in the transferring billing document there is another function is called /SAPSLL/API_6800_CSD_SYNCH, and it's calling parameters(in background, as seperate unit) are different from calling parameters of /SAPSLL/API_6800_SYNCH. You can see the difference below.
    For sales document transfer :
        CALL FUNCTION '/SAPSLL/API_6800_SYNCH'
          DESTINATION cs_transfer-rfc_dest
    For billing document transfer :
        CALL FUNCTION '/SAPSLL/API_6800_CSD_SYNCH'
          IN BACKGROUND TASK
          DESTINATION cs_transfer-rfc_dest
          AS SEPARATE UNIT
So my question is, do you think is it a sap standard program error, or is there any suitable settings in the customizing or SM59 to fix this error?
    Thanks in advance
    Serhat

    Dear Serhat,
I don't think this is an RFC problem or an error. But you wrote:
When I checked why its value is 'X', I saw that if the RFC destination and the current system are the same, then lv_no_commit = 'X', (means if the R3 and the GTS are in the same server, same client.)
It is impossible to have GTS and R/3 on the same system and same client. At least the client should be different. So try to check why the call is performed like that.

  • Restrict transfer of requirments from Sales Order to MRP.

    Hi Friends,
I have a requirement where in I have to stop/restrict transfer of requirements from Sales order line item to MRP.
Generally, If the material in Sales order is for Internal production then the Planned order it triggered in MRP and If the material is Externally Procured then a Purchase Req is triggered in MRP. The MRP run is carried out using Transaction code - MD03
Is there any technical enhancement where I can restrict the transfer of requirements to MRP from Sales order.
I know I can control it functionally by changing the schedule line category, But We need a technical development to do this as the user would not every time go to Sales order change and then change the schedule line Category.
    Please Advise.
    Thanks & Regards

Please try user exits EXIT_SAPLMDR2_001/2/3 if it helps.

  • MRP Type V1 does not consider Ext. req. Sales Order after MRP run

    Hi Buddies
My client wants to use MRP Type V1 which should consider re-order point as well as external requirement (i.e. Sales Order) for net requirement calculation. However when i tried using V1 in material master and ran MD03 it only considered re-order point  and ignored Sales Order.Sales Order didnt even reflect in MD04.Moreover in OMDQ for V1 under additional ext req there is no Sales Order for selection.
Please reply how i can have ext req sales order for MRP Type V1.
    Regards,
    Sachin Narvekar

    Hi
MRP Type V1 creats the requirement when the need exceeds the Reorder Point, where as the MRP type VB creats the requirement when the stock qty goes below the reorder point.

  • Acknowledgement of Sales order numbertfor MRP run To PP  from SD

How PP will come to know about sales order number acknowledgement which created by SD in MTO scenario.
what is standard solution for it.
    thanks!!!

    Winni,
My first answer would be to discontinue the use of these dupe orders.  I will assume that you have already explored and rejected this solution.
MRP gets SD quantity and Date info via 'Transfer of requirements'.  Depending on how your SD system is set up, you transfer requirements at the Item level and/or at the Schedule level (IMG>SD>Basic Functions>Availability check and transfer of requrements>Transfer of requirements).
It is possible to define your SD Items such that they automatically determine a requirements class that does NOT transfer requirements to MRP.  Likewise you can define a Schedule line category that does not transfer any schedule line requirements to MRP (IMG>SD>Basic Functions>Availability check and transfer of requrements>Transfer of requriements>Define procedure for each Schedule Line category).
Any changes you make must be consistant with all of the existing SD Doc types, SD Item Categories, and SD Schedule line categories, as well as your existing company policies and procedures.  I couldn't possibly make any recommendation without fully auditing your system, and fully understanding all of your business requirements..
I suggest you get your local SD functional expert to work with you to configure your system to meet your
    needs.

  • Credit Hold and the Passing of Requirements through MRP

We are implementing a new process by which instead of putting a sales order directly on a plant which will do the assembly (and where the production order is created), we putting a process in place where we place a sales order on Plant XXXX, but after MRP runs, the requirements will be passed on to Plant YYYY, where a Production Order will be created.
The issue we have run into is that even though the sales order may fail the credit checks, once MRP is executed the requirements to go create the production order are passed on to Plant YYYY.  We do not want this to happen.  Our goal is to put something in place which will prevent the passing of requirements once MRP is executed UNTIL the sales order has been released from credit hold.
One thing we were thinking of doing was putting a user-exit in place to change the schedule line category from CP to CN to prevent the requirements from being passed on (when the order was on credit hold) and then changing the schedule line category to CP (once it was released from credit hold).  However, this seems very messy to accomplish.  I would think there would be a better way of getting this done, as opposed to changing the schedule line categories on the order.
I have read several threads that discuss using a VOFM routine to satisfy my requirement, but am unclear as to where this would be implemented and how would it prevent the requirements from being passed when MRP is executed.  If anyone can shed some light on this for me, it would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello Tom,
you can review the note 744305, which contains some hints how to prevent MRP requirements for the credit blocked sales orders.
    Hope, It helps you.
    Best regards,
    Lela

  • Problem with scheduling planned orders in MRP

There is a problem with scheduling planned orders in MRP. SFG is assigned to the BOM of FG. No inhouse production time maintained in the material master of SFG & FG. routing maintained for both . In OPU5 scheduling & capacity reuiremnts tickmarked for detailed scheduling. Scheduling level - via detaied scheduling. Scheduling type - backward. Adjust basic dates , adjust dep. req. to order start set. In MD02 , scheduling is via ' lead time scheduling'.
My problem is the start date & time & finish date & time is same for planned orders of FG & SFG in the detailed scheduling tab of the planned orders. (Duration is same because of same capacity requirements on the same work centre. But how is the finish date same for both SFG & FG?)
    (Capacity requirements are being generated.)
What could be the problem ?

    Dear,
By scheduling the routing and maintain lot size dependent time in material is best practice and result of scheduling will be consistent.
If you want SFG before FG you need to define lead time offset in BOM or need to maintain the floats before production.
    Hope clear to you.

  • Sales planning through MRP

    hi,
Our client  has a requirement for MRP.
From sales side they want to enter sales tentative plan which will be integrated to MRP.
Please guide me how and where to enter the sales plan/sales budget.
    Thanks in advance..

    Hi
It is not exactly clear for me what do you mean by sales tentative plan.
You may consider using Sales and Operations Planning (SOP) and then transfer data to demand management.
Take a look on the following document for more details:
    Standard SOP Process flow...
In some cases, it is not necessary to use SOP and you can input your sales plan directly on demand management.

  • Problem with transfered user sessions from a 10.4 system

On my new MacBook pro with ML, I tranfered the user sessions of my previous mac (power book G4 working with OS 10.4).
With these "old" users accounts,  part of the trackpad features (like scroling up and down with 2 fingers) does not work, whereas it is working with new users.
Any idea on how to solve this?
    Thanks in advance

That was a good idea, I tried to delete the com.apple.finder.plist and the com.apple.systempreferences.plist but that did not work.
Eventually to solve the problem, I transferred all the files I needed to a session created with the new system. I'm waiting a week or two just to see if I have not forgotten something important and then I will delete the "old session".
    Thanks anyway for your help.
