Problem in Logon to Shop Admin in CRM 5.0
Dear All,
Need some urgent help.
We are on CRM ISA MSA 5.0 & on HP-UX 11.11.
We are facing a problem in our CRM box due to which we are unable to proceed further. We have our CRM IST box (CRI) in which we need to configure the shop admin.
In our CRM dev box (CRD), the link works, opens fine and we are able to login with the username and password with the shop admin rights.
But when we are accessing our CRI boxs shop admin, (our CRM IST box is a copy of CRM Production system), with the same and even more admin rights$ ( the user has all the java admin and sap_all & sap_new profiles/roles), it says "Logon is invalid; check your entries" even though are user details are absolutely correct as we are able to login with the same username and password in the SAPGUI.
My question is what could be the issue?
1. Do we need to do anysettings in XCM? The jco connection is set properly. I am able to see the first page of the webhop but not able to log in. I have switched on the authorization trace on the CRM system as well, but there no authorization issues.
2. Even in visual admin, the application is up and running. Is there any setting to be done here?
Please help me out of this issue.
Thanks & wil lsurely reward points for any hints.
Thanks a lot in advance for your help.
Warm Regards,
Rajeet

Problem in logon to my application
Hello all,
I have an application written using JHeadstart and JDeveloper 9.0.5. When I run the application logon page via Jdeveloper (embedded OC4J) I can login without any problem. But when I run the deploy version of the application I have a logon problem. The problem is that I must logon 2 times to go to application.
I don't have any idea about it.
Please let me know about any solution that can help me.
Thanks in advance.
ImanIman,
This must be a deployment issue since it works locally.
I have no clue what the problem might be, doesn't seem related to JHeadstart to me.

mehmetHello Mehmet,
i noticed from your profile that you have installed ABAP Trial Version in the last weeks.
So have you developed a WD-ABAP or a WD-Java application?
If you are usng WD-ABAP its not supported for mobile clients at the moment.
For that perhaps check this thread:

Problem with logon ticket on a cluster J2EE environment.
Hi Experts,
We have a Portal system with one J2EE node running which issues logon ticket to do SSO into our R/3 4.6 system.
After we added another node into the J2EE cluster on another machine, we have problem SSO into our R/3 system if you login to that new node, but everything works fine if user login into the original node directly.
I checked the keystore in EP on both nodes and they look exactly the same.
do we need to do anything for this to work? any help much appreciated!
Thanks
Jerry.Interesting, can you see the system landscape def from both nodes? If so, are the connection test results the same from both nodes?

Enjoy, and thanks for your helps.Ok, something got screwed up then. Delete that icon from your desktop.
Next.....
Form the start menu, choose run, type MMC and hit enter.
Now you should see an MMC, choose File --> Add/Remove SnapIn. In the "Standalone" dialog, click Add. Scroll down and choose SAP Systems Manager. Click Add. Next dialog, take defaults and hit Next twice. At the screen where it has "System" Enter NSP if not already there. Enter 'localhost 00' into the Instance field and click add. Now Finish. Close the rest of the windows and go back to the MMC, now you should see a SAP Systems node, with your NSP underneath, right-click it and "Start". You can then save this MMC and put a shortcut on your desktop.

Problem about logon ticket cookie
Hi all,
We have just set up trust between two portals. And we want to archive this:
One user log on a portal(consumer) and he can logon another(producer) with logon ticket.
But one problem is:
One user log on consumer and access the producer. Then he log off consumer without closing the browser.another user log on consumer, and when he enter the producer. The cookie in producer is the former user's information.
When somebody logoff the portal. The logon ticket doesn't expire. Then another user log on. The cookie never updates?
OK..One can close the browser to kill the cookie. But this is such a potential security problem.
Is there something to explain this?
Is there any idea to solve this?
best regards,
delma
Message was edited by:
delma maProducer portal always knows the consumer as trusted one.
Well the SLT is actually a HTTP Cookie issued by the portal system to client browser after a successful logon. It contains portal user name, expiry time and target system identification signed by portal secure certificate.
The logon procedure looks like so:
User (XXX) calls the portal1(Consumer)
Portal1 responds with logon page
User sends the creditentials to the portal1
Portal sends back some cookies to the user in 3-4 HTTP roundtrips.
One of this cookies is the SAP Logon Ticket.
User (XXX) contacting portal2 (Producer) sends the SAP Logon Ticket along the HTTP to that system.
This cookie is then send by the browser in all subsequent HTTP calls done by the browser in this session.
Here it explains the SLT is on the client's browser.
The recievier system (portal2) - called on the HTTP port, when properly configured checks the portal certificate with the one stored and then authorizes the user.
The SLT does not verify the user machine, only it's name anyone fetching the SLT can use it to access other systems in landscape.
Means of protection
1.Using HTTPS so the SLT is not available to third party
2.Additional authorization - for example NTLM
Cheers

Hello,
I have installed the Mini SAP with WAS 6.20 in my system, which has Windows XP. I was sucessfull in installing the Kernel CD and SAP GUI. So now the SAP logon icon appears on my desktop and i want to login. I have given the following details on it:
Description: Mini SAP
Application Server: hostname (as stated in the CD demo)
Systemnumber: 00(as stated in the CD demo)
So now the system appears on the logon and when i double click to the system to logon, it brings me an error.

Yes I did, but any how I have solved this problem. In SAP Logon the host name was wrong, it is not identical with my computer name.

Sapgui 710/Vista problem (multiple logon pads open)
Running SAPgui 710 (pl3) on a Vista workstation.
When I open more than 1 SAP logon pad, then select a system from 1 pad, then try to select a system to logon to from the 2nd logon pad, I get the error:
(X) Internal Error: Internal Server Error, no more memory
component DPTM
This does not happen on an XP workstation.
Any suggestions? We reinstalled sapgui, same problem. We installed sapgui on 2 other vista machines - same problem. Is anybody else running Sapgui 710 patch 3 on a Vista machine, with this problem?
1) open a sap logon pad
2) open a 2nd logon pad
3) from the 1st logon pad select a system, get to the logon prompt, minimize the window
4) from the 2nd logon pad, try to select a system
this is where we get the "internal server error"
Anybody else seen this? Do you have a solution?
Thanks,

Problem to logon via webbrowser to mySAP e-recruiting
Hi,
I did Google the whole web to find a solution for the following problem. I hope anyone of you can help me:
We installed mySAP e-recruiting 300 with the actual service packs in our SAP-System (SAP ERP Central Component 5.0) using the integrated webserver 6.40.
We did all of the necessary customizing.
The problem is: When I like to login as an external candidate via the url I created with the report RCF_GENERATE_URLS the browser shows me the login screen. After I entered the correct login data the screen is showed again... and so on...
It is possible for the user to login into the system via the SAPGUI. He has the role SAP_RCF_EXTERNAL_CANDIDATE.
This problem occurs also when I tried to login as a internal candidate, administrator...
The System works fine when I call the Candidate Registration (HRRCF_CAND_REG) all is working fine and a user is created in the system, which can create a application and can change his stetting. When I close the browser, the user is logged of.
I already checked all OSS. The profile parameters login/accept_sso2_ticket and login/create_sso2_ticket of the Web Application Server are both set to 1. (according the OSS 595109).
Does anyone has a solution for this problem?
Thank you very much for your help.
PhilippHi everyone-
It doesn't sound like an SP10 problem to me. I've used SP10 on multiple systems and it works great every time.
I've seen this issue before, but I can't remember what I did to resolve it. I would suggest starting with the basics. For example, go back into SICF and make sure all of the appropriate services are active and all of the necessary E-Recruiting services have the reference users assigned with the appropriate roles.
Next, as was already mentioned, make sure the SSO flags are set.
Lastly, feel free to provide an example URL, so that I can check my system and share the service logon details (obviously omitting your server name).
Good luck

HI
iam using NWDS 2.0.12 version as indicated i have moved the par file into the studio and edited the jsp tages according to my needs by the system is showing the error
Portal Runtime Error
An exception occurred while processing a request for :
iView : N/A
Component Name : N/A
The exception was logged. Inform your system administrator..
See the details for the exception ID in the log file
The foloowing steps i followed
The login page is part of the par file with the name com.sap.portal.runtime.logon.par
1) Copy the file with the above name from the following location (EP6 SP9 and higher). It has the additional ending ">\<SID>\<Instance>\j2ee\cluster\server<#>\apps\sap.com\irj\servlet_jsp\irj\root\WEB-INF\deployment\pcd\
2) Import the PAR file into Netweaver Developer Studio:
3)Edited the file
4) while importing the lib directory was empty so i copied the files
1. com.sap.portal.runtime.logon_api.jar
2. umelogonbase.jar
into the lib directory
5) after that i made a par file using nwds and winzip.
6)Then i changed the authescemes .xml file
1. Start the Config Tool by executing <SAPJ2EEEngine_installation>\j2ee\configtool\configtool.bat.
2. Navigate to cluster_data>server>persistent>com.sap.security.core.ume.service.
3. Switch to edit mode by clicking on the pencil which is at the upper right area.
4. In the tree, select authschemes.xml and choose Download. Save the file to your local directory
5. Edit the local file: To select the new PAR file as the Logon page change the occurrence of all substrings com.sap.portal.runtime.logon to your
project/PAR file name. All com.sap.portal.runtime.logon should be substituted with something like com.company.portal.runtime.logon (or whatever you project name is). Dont remove the part behind it.
(These are the profiles in the portalapp.xml and have the names default, certlogon, basicauthentication, header, and anonymous).
6. Create a new node in the configuration tree in the Config-Tool for the edited file as follows:
a.Select the node com.sap.security.core.ume.service.
b. Choose the symbol for Creating a node below the selected node.
c. Select the type File-entry.
d. Choose Upload and select the custom file from your local directory.
e. Enter a name for the entry, for example, authschemes_myHR.xml. By default, the name of the uploaded file is used.
f. Choose Create.
g. Choose Close window.
h. The new node appears in the configuration tree.
i. Go to Global server configuration>services> com.sap.security.core.ume.service and edit the property login.authschemes.definition.file.
The value needs to be changed from authschemes.xml to authschemes_myHR.xml
j. Restart the Portal. That is often not done and the changes will not appear.
after doing all this the portal shows an error
can anyone tel me where am i going wrong what steps iam missing while changing the par file.aslo pls if any one can tel me where exacty the log file is stored and how do i check the exception id.Hi Pankaj,
The steps seem to be correct.
The physical location of the log file is:
\usr\sap\<instance name>\JC01\j2ee\cluster\server0\log
You could check in the defaultTrace files here. Also note that the log entry could go into the Trace files in one of the Server in the clusters.
You could also look for the Log file from within the portal using Java Home-> Portal Log Viewer -> give the Exception id in the search
