Problem trying out RI

I was trying out RI and having problem in the initialization of JBIFramework Lifecycle Module. I am using Sun Application Server 8.1 PE UR2 (8.1 PE UR1 link redirects to 8.1 PE UR2 and 8.1 PE not available on sun's site ) and j2sdk1.4.2_05 .

Yes, the JBI Technology Preview requires Sun Java System Application Server PE 8.1 2005Q1 Update 1.

I have an Ipad 2 and are having problems sending out emails in one of my email address. I always get a message reading the email was not sent because the server does not allow relaying. This is an email account POP3. I have no such problem with gmail.

Welcome to the Apple community.
If you are unable to remember your password, security questions, don’t have access to your rescue address or are unable to reset your password for whatever reason, your only option is to contact Apple ID Support, upon speaking to an operator you should explain that your problem is related to your Apple ID, this way you will not be charged for assistance, even if you don’t have an AppleCare plan.
The operator will take you through some steps you may have already tried, however they need to be sure they have exhausted all usual approaches before trying to reset your account, so you should try to be helpful and show patience with the procedure.
The operator will need to verify they are speaking to the account holder and may ask you some questions that only the account holder could know, and you will need to answer them if the process is to proceed.
Once the operator has verified your identity they will send a message through to your device which contains an alpha numeric code, which you will need to read back to them.
Once this has been completed they will send an email to your iCloud email address after a period of 24 hours, so you should check that mail is enabled in your devices iCloud settings.
Upon receipt of the email, use the reset link provided to reset your password, after which you should be able to make the adjustments to iCloud that you wish to do.

You should first uninstall any previous version of Flash Player, using the uninstaller from here (make sure you use the correct one!):

Problems trying to RMA a product..

"Problems trying to RMA a product..g I own the Soundblaster Arena Surround sound gaming headset, which I purchased two months ago...
The USB connector on my headphones has been loose since I received it. I have always had to wiggle it around to get it to function and produce sound no matter what computer I use them on.
They have now stopped working all together and it appears the USB connector has lost all contact.
It will not let me use the RMA form because it says my serial number is not recognized. (I did register these)
I have made a request through your email form for tech support, but it has been over a week and I have not heard from anyone, only an automated message saying they will contact me within 24 hours.
So far Creative support is non-existant. Can anyone help me out here? I can not even find a phone number to contact anyone directly. From what I can tell Creative makes great products, however if something breaks the customer support is horrible. I would def think twice about another Creative purchase in the future.

If you want, you could also use Hiren's BootCD to make a bootable CD with many options and programs on it (I keep one, just for certain situations) that will allow you to do the same things.

After attempts was able to install with license page being displayed in English. H/ever since then I have had a bit of a problem trying to run Secunia Software Inspector which requires the use of Java, The problems which I am experiencing are as follows:
When the program starts I receive the following

Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility from the following page (use one of the links under the thingy on the Major Geeks page):

To install the utility, doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file you downloaded.
Now run the utility ("Start > All Programs > Windows Install Clean Up"). In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any Apple Software Update entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time?

Problems trying to develop a template using Fluid Grid Design

Having serious problems trying to get a template to work using Fluid Grid Design with Dreamweaver CS6
I have develop my template with editable regions etc, however when I load it to make an html5 page and preview it on any browser it comes completely blank
If I do this on an HTML5 document without Fluid Grid it comes out fine.
I heard this issue is happening to other people as well
Need to resolve this issue as soon as possible

Before you create a template, you need to a) properly define a local site folder in DW. And b) test your prototype (Fluid Grid page) to ensure the code is valid and it works in all target browsers/devices.
When you're completely happy with your prototype page, SaveAs a DW Template and close it.
DW will create a Templates folder in your local site folder for you.
1. File > New > Page from Template > select your newly created template from the 3rd panel. Hit Create.
2. This is a child page spawned from a Template.dwt.
SaveAs index.html.
Preview in browsers. It should work just fine.
Repeat Steps 1-2 for remaining site pages.

Lots of problems trying to delete users

My situation is that my girlfriend and I were sharing one account. Well the desktop and dock was getting very cluttered, so I wanted to create a seperate account for her. Which then I decided that I was just going to change the names of both accounts and use the new account because it would be easier to transfer my files.
I had alot of problems trying to change short names of accounts, and since that did not seem possible I tried to delete the account which I had just made. In Account Preferences, I tried to delete a newly created account. I unlocked the padlock to make changes, but I could not even select any of the accounts. I did this from another admin account first. I even tried this with the root account, and still I could not even select any accounts in Account Prefences.
The only accounts I can select/delete are accounts that I had just created and not logged into yet. After I logged into a new account, an orange cirlce icon with the check mark in the middle shows up beside the new account in Account Preferences.
Then I found something in a forum that mentioned how to delete an account through Terminal. I created a dummy account just for practice. That seemed to work well enough. I tried to delete my other new account that I made for myself. Well I had switched the names on the two accounts. So when I typed in the name of the new account, Terminal thought it was still the name of the original account. The original account seems to be gone, but all the files are still accessible(luckly I had set the permissions before so that we had access to each others files easily.) I stopped in the middle of the process of fully following the instuctions on a forum on the original account and I lost the site because I was on the original account when deleteing in terminal.
My question is what can I do to either get the account back or any other things I can do to fix my problem. I was thinking about just taking all the files from the old account and just transfer them to a newly created account.
She has photoshop, so I was not sure how that would effect that program.
All the files are still in Users folder in the Mac folder in My Computer. So that is good.
I created another new account called "Jennifer Stoltes"(short name "jennifer") so I could just transfer everything from the accidentally deleted account. When I sign on this user the name shows up as "new" in the User name in the upper right corner of the screen. "new" is the name of the account I created to try deleting through Terminal, which I thought I completely deleted.
How do I transfer everything from one account to another. Can I re-create the original account because the folder is still in the Users folder in finder.
I don't know who would want to tackel the problems I created. If all else fails, I might just have to call tech support or take it to the apple genius bar.

Choose Go to Folder from the Finder's Go menu and enter /private/var/log/ as the folder's location; once this folder has appeared, check the modification date of the file named daily.out. If this date is prior to the deletion of the account, follow the instructions in sections 1 and 2 of this article. Doing this will restore the account setup to the configuration it was in within 5 minutes of the timestamp on the file mentioned earlier.
If not, create two new administrator accounts on the machine, log in with each account, and then copy the data associated with one of the two original accounts to the desktop. Once this has been done, move the files to the correct location in the current home folder, restart the computer or log out from all of the accounts except for either of the new ones, delete the old ones, and then use this application to change the short names of the current accounts.

Gnash not working after trying out lightspark

Hi all,
I use uzbl as a browser, and Gnash for youtube videos playing. Everything worked fine.
Recently, I tried out lightspark, uninstalling gnash beforehand.
It worked, but had a tendency to crash my browser, so I uninstalled lightspark, and reinstalled Gnash, but It no longer allows me to play flash content ( youtube or otherwise), it asks me to download flash player.
My guess is I have something else to do in order for uzbl to forget about lightspark, but I can't find anything.
Oh, also : I used yaourt to install / uninstall lightspark from AUR package "lightspark-git"
If anyone has an idea, I'd appreciate it.

I'm not sure what the relevant logs are here, but The whole system is up to date ( pacman -Suy tells me there is nothing to update), I'm using v0.8.10-11 for Gnash, and 2012.05.14-2 for uzbl-browser ...
Gnash seems installed correctly, I can find "libgnashplugin.so" in /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/

The problem seem in fact worse than I thought.
I just tried uninstalling then reinstalling uzbl-browser, and I can play youtube videos again, only I think it is using lightspark, since the interface is not the Gnash one ( for exemple I can use fullscreen, and I couldn't before) but I am sure I uninstalled lightspark...
In fact when I do
pacman -Qq |grep spark
or
pacman -Qq |grep flash
I get no results.
also no mention a plugin other than gnash in "/usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/"

Trying out CS4 and a suggestion to Adobe.

I've been trying out CS4 while waiting for it to come in at the
University computer store.
At work on my new Dell Optiplex 755 with 4gig of memory, it flies!
At home with my old Gateway and HP laptop, not so good. The openGL stuff
doesn't work on either one. The video card in the Gateway is an ATI 550
with 250meg of memory and the latest drivers I could find. It claims to
have openGL 2.0 but it doesn't work.I found a bit of software on the web
that checks to see if your video is suitable for a video game. It claims
that my system has openGL 2.0 and should work with the published spec's
for CS4 but it doesn't work. This all reminds me of the early days of
personal computing with the compatibility wars were manufactures fought
over who was most compatible and if the software didn't run it was the
hardware's fault not theirs.
My suggestion is for Adobe to make a video test tool that users could
use to validate their video hardware and software. I would like to buy a
new laptop for use with CS4. But it is hard to tell looking at the
spec's for laptops if they will work. If I had this tool on a thumb
drive it would be easy to check.
All in all I've spent more time with software and hardware problems
affecting Photoshop than I've spent on any other programs. As an
engineer I use some powerful and complex software, and none of it is as
fussy as Photoshop is.

Well, see it that way: The trial is your testing tool. As your failed attempts with that game-centric tool more than eloquently prove, there's a fundamental difference between an abstract capabilities test and using features in a practical implementation. Come to think of it, any testing tool that would provide a maximum breadth of possible scenarios would probably be quite complex in itself, drawing resources from fixing stuff in the programs themselves. I know it's a *****, but consider that vendors of other programs face the same situation. It may look smooth on the surface, but from personal involvement I know that even e.g. in 3D programs sometimes programmers will implement a specific workaround for only a given graphics card or series of cards that does not comply to the (theoretically) unified standards of OpenGL. It's not much different for Adobe, for sure. At best, one could argue that they had all the money to buy every card and test it, but even that doesn't hold true. In a way, that race has long been lost, as sad as it is...

Weird Problem trying to sign into my App Store Account ? Please Help !!

Im having a very weird problem trying to sign into my App store account to update my apps and to purchase new Apps. Ive tried to search the net but I cant seem to solve my problem.
Here is whats happening
My Email address is correct in my iTunes Account and also my App Store account. (which is basically the same anyway)
The problem I am having Is that when I try to download an App my old email address still shows up when it requests my password.
The weird part is that my email address is correct in my itunes and also at the bottom of my app store. Yet my old email is showing up when I try to sign into the App store.
Here are the steps Ive taken already to fix this problem and have failed.
I have signed out of my itunes and app store and signed back in..FAILED.
I went into my setting -STORE and signed out and back in..FAILED.
I dont understand why my old email is still showing up when I try to sign in to update or download an App !!!!

Apps are DRM protected & tied to the account that was used to originally purchase them. Were these apps purchased using your old account details?
