Problem using oai SDK to develop a browser class for iStudio

I was trying to develop a new browser class fo iStudio using the example Browser SDK Tutorial codes. The package name is defined as:
"oracle.oai.tools.iStudio.browsersdk.USIBrowser"
In iStudio's "browsers.init" I appended this line:
"FileBrowser;oracle.oai.tools.iStudio.browsersdk.USIBrowser;"
In "iStudio.bat"'s CLASSPATH I appended this entry:
"C:\oracle\OraIC\oai\tools\USIBrowser\USIBrowser.class;"
Why the hell iStudio cannot find the new class:
"menu: FileBrowser
class: oracle.oai.tools.iStudio.browsersdk.USIBrowser
java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: oracle.oai.tools.iStudio.browsersdk.USIBrowser
     at java.net.URLClassLoader$1.run(URLClassLoader.java:199)
     at java.awt.EventDispatchThread.run(EventDispatchThread.java:100)
Class Not Found: oracle.oai.tools.iStudio.browsersdk.USIBrowser"
Can somebody point me to the problem? Any help is appreciated.
John

Hi:Thanks for your response. The following code works fine in a standard VB.Net windows Application,It is just a send and receive instruction to a power meter over the GPIB bus. This code is behind a Button, and a label displays the result.I have a problem when I try to duplicate this simple code on an ASP.Net page using Server controls. When you click the button the code is supposed to execute on the server side and not the client side(browser). The code fails when it gets to the viOpenDefaultRM line,I get an error message as follows System.DllNotFoundException:Unable to Load Dll(VISA32.DLL).I have added a reference to the visa library from within the project.

  • Problem using  auto-complete SQL Developer

    Hi everyone ...
I'm having a problem using the SQL Developer 3.2.20.09 87 ... when I try to use auto-complete in a 'SELECT' clause at a specific table (EX: clients.cod_client), if I have more tables in my 'FROM' clause, the program shows all columns from all tables. Even if I have specified the table I want to show the columns (like the exemple: clients.<columns>) ...
I've tryed to change the properties at preferences->insight ... but there's no option to change it there.
So, if anyone have faced this problem and solved, please help me ;)

  • Problem using different Map key types in one class

I'm running Kodo 2.3.3. It seems I can only have one Map key types for all

  • Problem using "Photo to Movie" and "Toast 8 Titanium" for dvd slideshow

I used photo to movie to compile a 20 minute collection of photos for a relative's funeral. All the files were still photos (no video) but I added 4 songs (that I had in iTunes).
When I go to "create movie", I normally select NTSC for toast, but when I do so toast gives me an error saying "filename.dv is an unsupported format and cannot be imported".
I just went throw this process a day ago for a wedding slideshow (using same computer and workflow) and it worked fine!!! What could be causing this?
I have downloaded all the latest updates of both toast and photo to movie.

I finally figured out (after 8 hrs of troubleshooting) that there was one photo in there it didnt like. When I finally found the photo (by process of elimination) and replaced it, everything worked fine. Just wish the error messaging would be more specific to help me locate the problem!

  • Problem using WSDL from SAP in IBM's RAD for generating web service client

When importing a WSDL from the ABAP stack on a SAP 6.40 system into IBM's RAD tool for generating a web service client there are errors with the soap fault classes that get generated.  The WSDL declares the types for the faults with WebServiceName.RfcException and these have elements of name, text, and message.  When the tools see this in the WSDL they generate classes that extend the Java exeception class and this causes an error because the "message" name conflicts with the standard java exception message.  Has anyone else ran into this problem?  It seems like a basic problem many java tools for generating web service client proxies would have because the soap faults get turned into java exceptions.  This name conflict of the java exception with the WSDL fault definition means that code always needs to be adjusted and cannot simply use the classes that are generated from the WSDL.  Anyone run across this or a similar problem in the java environment using the SAP WSDL?

I've downloaded and opened avery labels to word and would now like to merge an address book from my mac.
When I get to the Mail Merge Manager and go to 'get list', my address book is not accessible.
I'm sure there's a simple way to do this but have not been successful googling or using the help options on both

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

    Hi shaun
Looks like Pages '08 works the same as the previous version. You can't get data from multiple cards in one document. Try using Address Book's native label printing feature.

  • Problems Using QuickTime Pro on Windows to Compress Movies for E-mailing

I have a windows system but just installed QuickTime Pro because I understood it would allow compression of movies (home movie segments of no more than 5 minutes) to facilitate e-mailing them. QuickTime instructions describing easy use of a "Share" feature seem geared to the MAC operating system--I have no such option. I've tried opening my movie using Quicktime, going to File, exporting (Movie to Quicktime Movie) with default settings (H.264 compression, quality high, key frame rate 24, etc., audio at format integer, sample rate 11.024 khz, etc.) and prepare for internet streaming (fast start). The movie goes into my Quick Time movie files without much compression--going from an AVI file of 60.4 MB to a quicktime movie of 40.8 MB. This is much larger than the quicktime movies emailed to me of longer duration which were only a few MB. Any help for a novice who at this point only wants to compress and email movies? Thanks.

That sounds like the sound is being exported in
uncompressed format. Suggest you open one of these
filesw and use MovieInfo in the Windows menu to see
what format is being used for the sound. If it is
listed as uncompressed or raw or PCM, you may want to
try using mpeg-4 sound (aac or advance audio
    compression).
Thanks much. I tried saving the file using the AAC option (rather than Linear PCM) and that got it down only slightly (from 40.8 to 40.5 MB). I'll just keep experimenting.

  • Setting password expiry using the SDK

Without using the iDS console, meaning just by using the SDK, could I set the period for password expiry?
Since the userPassword is a multi-value attribute, how can I differentiate between which is the password for signing-onto the server and which are passwords for other applications?

If you mean to configure the password policy using the SDK, a Modify operation for the base object "cn=config" and replacing the value of "PasswordMaxAge" attribute will work.
If you intend to set a specific expiration time for a specific user, you should not do this and let the server set the expiration time based on the configured password ploicy.
For more information on the password policy configuration, you can refer to the Administration Guide.
Also, although userPassword is multivalued, the pasword policy as currently defined in the Directory server suppose that the userPassword attribute contains only 1 value. If the password contains more than 1 value, the result of the password policy is undefined.
And there is no way to differentiate between passwords.

    Ludovic.

Could this be possible with a Mac App?

I know, what apple allows, it is written everywhere.
But can I, say, update data in my app (that is not Documents in the Cloud, Mail, Reminders, bla bla bla), maybe big data, like new maps for a application, that needs always the newest maps of a country.
    Do you get the point?

I shall be thankful to your help.

I am also having the same problem. Calling a web service inside JDeveloper 10.1.3.3 works fine. When I deploy to a jar file and include all Jars that the dependency analyzer identifies, the following error occurs:
standard type mapping initialization error: javax.xml.rpc.JAXRPCException: javax
.xml.soap.SOAPException: Unable to create SOAP Factory: Provider com.sun.xml.messaging.saaj.soap.ver1_1.SOAPFactory1_1Impl not found
Your work around defining Java system properties does work, but why do we need to do this using the Oracle SOAP stack?
If there are alternatives to this problem please share. Thank you.

  • When I try to open my Yahoo mail in safari, I get a message which states:" In order to use Yahoo mail, please turn Private Browsing off. Please go to Settings Safari Private Browsing, and turn off" The problem is my ipad does not a Private Browsing switch

When I try to open my Yahoo mail in safari, I get a message which states:" In order to use Yahoo mail, please turn Private Browsing off. Please go to Settings>Safari>Private Browsing, and turn off" The problem is, my ipad does not a Private Browsing switchat this location.

With iOS 7 on the iPad, you turn Private  Browsing on and off by tapping the URL field.  The screen that  opens up has your bookmarks on it.  In the bottom left corner is a hot button marked 'PRIVATE'.  Tap on the word 'PRIVATE' to turn private browsing on or off.  Yeah, there aren't any instructions anywhere that I can find to do this, and if you follow Yahoo's instructions, they don't work.  This doesn't happen with the previous Apple OS, and you can restore your iPad to the older OS.

  • Is there any known problem using Oracle SQL Developer 3.0.04 with Java 1.7?

I'm new to Oracle. I have installed Oracle SQL Developer 3.0.04 and Java 1.7. When I run Oracle SQL Developer, I will get the window Running this product is supported with minimum Java version of 1.6.0_04 and a maximum version less than 1.7. This product will not be supported....
Is there any known problem using Oracle SQL Developer 3.0.04 with Java 1.7?
I have already downloaded Java 1.6 but don't know whether I need to uninstall Java 1.7 first. If don't need to uninstall Java 1.7, how can I set Oracle SQL Developer to run with Java 1.6?
    Thanks for any help.

    Hi,
One prior post discussing the use of Java 7 is:
SQL Developer 3.0  and Java SE 7?
There is no need to uninstall any Java version (except if you have disk space constraints) and no problem switching between Java versions. This may be controlled in the sqldeveloper.conf file in your ...\sqldeveloper\sqldeveloper\bin directory via the SetJavaHome line. For example:
    #SetJavaHome ../../jdk
    SetJavaHome C:/Program Files/Java/jdk1.6.0_26
    #SetJavaHome C:/Program Files/Java/jdk1.7.0Regards,
