Problem w.r.to Funds Management while PO Creation
Hi Gurus
My client has Funds Management implimented and it is working fine. We are upgrading the patches in the system (4.7 R/3).
While testing in the Development client while creating a raw material PO it throws an error saying that Annual Budget exceeded by 137 USD(value given is an example) (FM CB Availabilty control) for the Funds center.
For Raw materials actually a dummy funds is picked automatically which does not have any budget and this message should not appear.
This has really stopped our testing.Request for a solution.

Problem in activating the Funds Management BCS and Availability Control
Hi experts.
After running the program RGLIUGEN to generate the required includes in program SAPLGLIU, the generated programs come with syntax errors. When I manually correct the errors ,the program post the budgets and budget releases but does not update values for availability control to the effect that whenever one tries to post any amount against the budget, we get the following error :

We would like to implement Budget check at SC level against Fund Management(ECC) .
We are planning to use Extended classic scenario with SRM 7.0
Could please confirm that it is feasible, I know that there were some problems integrating SC and Fund Management with previous SRM version in Extended Classic Scenario..

Error while settlement of WBS - Funds Management
Hi,
We have maintain derivation rule as - WBS to Fund Center. This Fund center is DUMMY because we need not want to control WBS through Funds Management.
There is always one Cost center in each WBS. while settling this WBS we are getting error as -

Funds Management related error while creating Purchase Requisition

Am working in ECC6.0 system with Funds Management integration. While creating PR am getting below mentioned error
"At least one GL account was not derived by the budgetary ledger
Message no. FI_E034"
Diagnosis
You are using the Funds Management system integrated with the budgetary ledger (BL) active for FM area .
Postings into the budgetary ledger require a GL account for each of the budgetary ledger line items. However,
in this case, at least one of the line items in the BL interface table does not contain a GL account.
Use the link below to analyze the table contents before and after the account derivation process.

After activating funds management in the system, while creating a travel request we got the following error. Anyone can help on this, for idenifying the problem.
In the travel request portal we are getting this error :

When you start using the trip transaction and select a travel request the system send you to the TP04 transaction... now
with this new function, I have to use the transaction PR05 its right? becouse the TP04 ask the VORS expense type, and sap says to dont delete record
Please could you tell me with wich transaction you start to create a travel request? I have the same problem of the screen but Im not sure to use the TP04 transaction wit this solution

We are at Version EA -PS - 600 - SAP Enterprise Extension Public Services ,. We have activated EA-PS .Component .
While in IMG , try to activate , system throwing following error message :
Activate Global Funds Management Functions (PSM-FM) - System ,Function is not possible; application IS-PS is not active
Message no. FI292
Diagnosis
Activating the Funds Management Government functions at client level requires the cross-client activation of the application.
System Response
The Funds Management functions are not activated.
Procedure
First activate the cross-client IS-PS application by using transaction FIBF under Settings -> Identification -> SAP Applications.
If we go and see above Path : IS -PS , check box is in NOT CHANGABLE .
Please sugges us to activate the same.

The msg being: function is not possible funds management is not active
As above, I tried to run under SE38: RFFM_ACTIVATE_BCSETS.
The msg being:

Activation of BC Set EA-PS-AKH terminated
Activation of BC Set EA-PS-IMG terminated
Activation of BC Set EA-PS-MENU terminated

The update problem occurs both if we try to post with FB50L or if I try to make a transfer of FI postings in FM. This all happens in the new installation where we plan to use new GL and FM.
This note you gave did not ring a bell for me
The error message is FI057. But we have not yet found a suitable note.
Therefore any ideas are still welcomed. -
PSM-FM-Reversal of funds management document after change in acc.assignment
Good day we recently went live with a component of Funds Management i.e. Availability Control on Cost centers and cost elements. We update BCS with the plan values and actual/commitment items in Finance/CO. We do our planning in CO.
The solution is working reasonably well but we have encountered a problem for which we are unable to find a solution. The problem is best illustrated with an example;
1. Create purchase requisition with Account Assignment Category "K" = Cost Center with transaction ME51N
2. Account assignment = cost center and cost element. A funds management document is created upon saving of the transaction.
3. Purchase Req. is released with a release strategy (transaction ME54N)
4. After purchase requisition release the account assignment for the cost element is changed by the user. This occurs sometimes during the execution of the business process.
5. When a purchase order is created with reference to this purchase requisition with transaction ME59N the system references the original funds management document which means when the account assignment was changed the funds management document was not reversed and a new funds management document created for the changed account assignment.
6. The BUDCON report transaction FMRP_RW_BUDCON thus displays the commitment under the incorrect commitment item as the change in account assignment is not reflected in Funds Management. We have a one to one relationship between cost elements/commitment items and cost centers/funds centers as per the derivation strategy.
My question is;
Is this normal standard SAP standard behavior or are we missing some configuration that will enable the creation of a new funds management document and if so where do we configure such? I must mention our solution is completely SAP standard.

I think u should do an entire test with TRACE on, and u will find the problem, and how to fix it (at FMDERIVE of course).
First: Have a look at note [666322|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/666322], go to FMDERIVE and turn ON the trace.
Then, run all the process ... from ME51N to the end...
I agree with Eli, u must allow overwriting of existing values at FMDERIVE rule...

Commitment Item in SD Billing document (Fund Managment) ECC6
Hi,
We are upgrading from 4.6C to ECC6 and have activated Fund Managment (EA-PS).
At the time of carrying out the Billing in SD we are getting a error that no commitment item available for gl account but if I use the same revenue account and create a FI invoice (FB70) then the CI is getting derived thru the derivation rules (Rule:CI from Cost Element).
I would like to know why the CI is not getting derived during Billing in SD module.

I have maintained a derivation Rule:CI from Cost Element, so that the CI will derive from this derivation rule.
As mentioned if I use same revenue account and create a FI invoice then the CI is derived as per the derivation rules but while carrying out the SD billing then the error comes.

Special settings for funds management in 4.6C?
Hi experts,
Our client wants to implement funds management with 4.6C and plans to upgrate to ECC6.0 in the future. What points should be recoginzed when configuring FM in view of upgrade?
The company code currency is different with the FM area currency.
One example is there is a field "Currency integration" in ECC6.0 in OFUP while 4.6C doesn't have such a field. should alternative currency be set up in 4.6C?
Any other settings needed?

Fund Managment - Availability Control

I have come across the following Fund Management problem :
If there is NO budget data for a commitment item in this financial
year, Purchase Order can be saved against that commitment item even
thou Fund Checking has turned on. There is NO ERROR MESSAGE. That's is
WRONG.
Once entered budget data of $1.0 via FR04 to that commitment item, on
saving the Purchase Order, system will display an error message :
Availability Control : Item 001 B2010 / 163000 payment budget exceeded.
How can this problem be fixed so that SAP will display an error message if there is NO BUDGET for a commitment item.
