Problem while archiving a smartform

Dear All,
We have implemented records management and in GMGRANT tcode, we created button and which would create a smartform when we press that. Based on the Archive link settings from OAAD tcode, when ever we try to archive that smartform, it would trigger event 'ASSIGNED', we did type linkage for this even and assign a custom function module. There we designed to add this smartform as an element to Grant record. Its working perfectly in Production till yesterday. Suddently, its not working now, and when I checked the event trace, this event is not getting triggered. Would you let me know the possible reasons for this??

How File adapter will decide that it is faulty? On what basis?

Problem while archiving the redo Log

Hi all,
I m having few issues in my server...
I get the following error in the alert log of oracle..
There are many errors
1) No space left on device
2) ARC0: I/O error 19502 archiving log 1 to
'/oracle/admin/SNM/arch/arch_1_393_668727286.arc'
ARCH: Archival stopped, error occurred. Will continue retrying
3) ORA-16014: log 1 sequence# 393 not archive*d, no available destinations*
Also please find the v$log file query

yes it is the production server.
Also the arch folder contains 2 GB file - arc file....
Does disable of archival will solve the issue?

Problem while printing in smartforms

Hi, My Login language is AR and i m trying to print English on the smart form. The string I am trying to print is "JOANNOU & PARASKEVAIDES (OVERSEAS) LTD." which is stored in company address details. But in smart form it is printing like ".OVERSEAS LTD JOANNOU & PARASKEVAIDES "
note: It is printing first half at the left side and the second half at the right side as shown above.
please help me to solve this issue.

       I am able to archive messages but the problem here if i menstion specific Interface which has to be archieved then it is not working. In the sense that with this interface it is archiving other messages also. I want to do conditions specific archinving not all the messages.
      Please provide me the answer and don't provide me the links which has the steps of archiving. Because i alread followed those links and done the successful.

Error While Archiving

Hi All
I am getting an error of "All available file names are already being used " while archiving the ODS.
On other side when i search for the same available files i did not get that. So i want to know where i can look for the available files?
Also when i manage the ODS and go to Archiving Tab the status is still yellow where as when i go to check the Job status in SARA it shows me the cancelled job. Can anybody tell me that what may be the problem is??

Hi,
Check the definition of File Name, if it not defined as per the SAP recommendations, at runtime u will get this type of error. In the definition of File Name, the parameter II is alpha numeric, if it reaches the maximum combinations, then the system tries to create from starting but already archive files with same names are exists in the specified archive directory, this results the error what u got.
So, check once the definition of the archive file name. The SAP recommended, naming convention for the logical file is listed below:
Defining Logical File Names:
The following parameters are of particular interest here:
¡ PARAM_1: Two-character application abbreviation (for example, HR, CO, MM) for the classification of the archive files in the system. The value of the definition is determined from the relevant archiving object at runtime.
¡ PARAM_2: Single-character alphanumerical code (0-9, A-Z). If, when creating a new archive file, an existing file with an identical physical name would result in a conflict, the ADK increases this value by 1. This value must, therefore, always be a part of the physical name.
¡ PARAM_3: This parameter is filled at runtime with the name of the archiving object. In archive management, this enables you to check the file contents or to store the archive files by archiving objects.
To enable maximum space in the name range for the archive file, the following entry is recommended:
.ARCHIVE
In the Logical Path field, you assign the previously defined logical path name to the current logical file names. You can assign a logical path name to several file names.
To display the path name and file name definitions and their specifications for the relevant syntax groups, go to transaction SF07.

the txt fields are being created under a header which is not correct.
Try to include the Text under the Main header, or else under the loop.
can u send a screenshot of the problem? (expand all the branches, with error.)

Hi Madhusadan,
Can you check whether the product exists in the ERP System or not? You can take the product names and can check the same using the Tcode: MM03 in ECC System. Also, it would be good if you have a look at the product from the CRM System if there are any errors or the product is already archived.
Is the Sales Order you are creating from a Preceding Transaction ?

I am still getting the same messages even after creating the iview template in EP7.0
Created through:
content Admin --> portal content --> <folder>new --> iview --> seleting "Portal component - create an iView from a portal component contained in a deployed portal archive (PAR file)" <next> --> seleting "com.sap.portal.appintegrator.sap" <next> --> webdynpro <next> --> finish.
Open object for editing...--> Object is a Template to Yes.
Result :
content Admin --> portal content --> <folder>new --> iview --> seleting "iview template- create an iView from an existing iView template" <next> which displays the same message.
"No templates to display. You are not assigned to any existing templates."

Archiving a smartform

I try to archive the smartform ZSSFFAKT01 by passing the following parameters to FM. When I have a look at Transaction OMA1 I get an error in the outgoing documents section saying: Content-Repository does not exist.

Thanks for your message. The problem regarding from where the output was triggered was fixed. I have another question though. We need to make several calls to the smartform function. As of now, it creates an archive for every call to the function. We would like to have it create only one archive, independently of the number of function calls. Thanks again.

Error while archiving the repository

Hi all
We are facing error while archiving the repository. It is giving following error while archiving:
Error reading blob from A2i_CM_XMLschema table
Operation ended in ERROR : 84020008H : Database binary object error.
Can anybody help me on this.
I am not getting error while working with repository. Its working fine but only while archiving its giving this error.

I tried doing that . Now after compacting i am not getting warning while verifying but while archiving i am getting following error :

Also I tried unarchiving from earlier archived file but for unarchiving also its giving me following Error:
MDM Repository data is out of date or locked by another MDM Server. Refresh the data and try the operation again.
I checked. There is no another MDM server accessing the repository. What does it mean by Refresh Data.
Do above two problems inter-related.
Can anybody help me on this.

Dreamweaver encountered problems while constructing the menus from the current menus.xml file

So, after having trouble with my Photoshop scratch disk, I had to do an archive and install of my Mac OS 10.6.1 then reinstall the Adobe suite. I then had to run the Licensing Repair Tool (http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/licensing.html).
Now everything works but Dreamweaver, which is throwing the following error:
"Dreamweaver encountered problems while constructing the menus from the current menus.xml file.
Please delete the current menus.xml file and rename menus.bak to menus.xml"
I tried that. menus.bak is a directory, not a file. Even renaming the directory didn't work.
I saw this http://forums.adobe.com/message/2188511#2188511
but I don't have a /FlashPlayerTrust/ directory, nor do I see what that has to do with Dreamweaver.
I couldn't find a corresponding solution for this http://forums.adobe.com/message/862339#862339 for the Mac OS.
This http://forums.adobe.com/message/3396334#3396334 didn't help, either.
Anybody have any ideas?

This is the error I got after deleting (moving) the configuration directory.
"No document types have been found in the Configuration/DocumentTypes/ folder. The MMDocumentTypes.xml file may be missing or corrupted. The application will exit now."
I've reinstalled the entire Adobe CS4 (which fixed my Photoshop problem but created this Dreamweaver problem) and then reinstalled Dreamweaver alone.
I've also attached a screenshot of the Dreamweaver directory tree with the menus.xml files.

I have also put the applet reqd. classes in a jar file and placed this jar along with the applet
in weblogic/myserver/serverclases,

Is this an issue with the "T-engine" or the "J-engine"? Are you using a
ubbconfig file or weblogic.properties file? Can you post the stack trace?
This may be an known issue and simply require you to install the latest
service pack for WLS 5.1 (aka. J-engine)...
