Problem with write key VIs (config-file)

Hi
My problem is this: when I use the write key VIs to write to an ini-file, the values are not written/updated in the ini-file. Does
anybody has a solution???

I was complaining about the poor formatting of the .ini files myself a couple years ago in this thread. http://forums.ni.com/ni/board/message?board.id=170&message.id=273552
I found the offending piece of code was buried pretty deep in the Config File VI hierarchy.
One idea is to go back after the file is written and find where all the section headers are and insert your own blank lines.

Problem with Virtual Hosts Individual Config Files and OSX 10.7 Lion (AllowOverride Setting)

I am hoping some other Xserve users running OSX 10.7 (Lion) can offer some additional input or help in a couple of issues I am running into with the Apache settings on my server.
Below is an example site config file on our server. We are hosting a number of sites and are using .htaccess files and apache's rewrite module to create vanity URLs. In order for the .htaccess files to be used AllowOverride has to be set to "All" instead of "None"
The problem I am running into is everytime I stop and restart the web service on the machine it keeps changing this setting back in the individual site configuration files. I will change it to AllowOverride All and next time the server has to be restarted or the web service has to be restarted it is defaulting every site back to None which has become quite frustrating.
Is there somewhere I can set this default setting to prevent this from occuring and forcing every site and site config to default to "AllowOverride All" ?
Should I be researching this somewhere specific? OSX 10.7 changed the entire Apache Interface and the manner in which it runs and I am finding little to no documentation on it.

Are you using the default Server.app, or have you downloaded and installed the (proper) Server Admin tools?
Server Admin.app isn't included as part of the Lion Server distribution, but if you download it and install it you get the same set of admin tools as you're used to with previous versions. From there you should be able to set the 'Allow All Overrides' setting for your site.

Problems with write to measurement file

My VI doesn't seem to write my signal properly when writing is enables.. however, if i change the "Write to measurement file" Express VI to a Write to Spreadsheet function, the signal is written correctly. From what I understand in previous discussions, there is a bug associated with enabling a write to measurement file, so is there a way to enable write to spreadsheet instead of using the express VI or is there a way I can bypass this bug?

This is my second program ever written, first in matlab, so I am very new to the field. So why I choose one way over another I have no reasoning, all I know is that it works. I am collecting electromyography analog signals, with a range of +/-5V.. the "bad" writing with write to meas file is that I am getting a flat signal (range between -.01 to +0.01, give or take).. where when written with write to spreadsheet, the signal has proper voltage range and normal frquency and amplitude characteristics seen in EMGs.
I tried using a case structure for the write to spreadsheet, however it only writes the buffer size during continuous sampling. I need it to write the entire time the boolean (enable button) is true, also the enable button is operated as switch when pressed.

Well, I created new extract, starting 2012-06-01 15:30 to check if there was something with extract at the time, but got the same error.
If I run extract beging at 15:52 it starts and works.
But well, I got another one today. Data didn't look that bad, but yet one column came with null value:( And I'm using it as a key column, so I got Mapping problem with compressed key update record again:(
I'm replicating from SQL Server 2008 to Oracle 11g.
I'm actually using NOCOMPRESSUPDATES in Extract.
CDC is enabled for all tables replicated. The only thing is that it is enabled not by ADD TRANDATA command, but by SQL Server sys.sp_cdc_enable_table, does it matter?
Could you please advise why does it happen?

The SCRP_CODE column has a NOT NULL constraint. The ORA-01407 error is telling you that you cannot update or set a value for this column to null because of the constraint. This has absolutely nothing to do with an index. You can use a marker/sentinel value in lieu of using NULL. For a numeric field, where everything is positive, a negative value (-1) can be decoded as meaning null. For a character field, a code such as NA can represent NULL.
This also has nothing to do (directly) with GoldenGate failing because of this error. The underlying SQL statement will fail everywhere, regardless of the tool or application. It is not a case of failing only in GoldenGate.

Problem with windows not liking any files named prn

I recently found a problem with windows not liking any files
called prn.html, prn.cfm etc etc. If you try and create a file like
prn.html then it will say "File already exists".
I initially thought it was a Cold Fusion error as I was
getting some bizarre error messages when trying to write prn.html
using cffile.
Does anyone know a work around for it?

Not only "prn" but also for the terms like "AUX", "NUL" you
can't create any directories or files in Windows because these are
reserved terms with Windows which is meant for some device
drivers...

Having problem with dead key in Leopard

Hello. I'm having problem with dead key in Leopard.
In Tiger it was working, but in Leopard dead key "'" doesn't work.
In Tiger I could use OPTION key as well to get Latvian special characters (both worked - OPTION Key and dead-key), but in LEOPARD OPTION key is the only possibility to get these characters.
How can I get dead key "'" working?
I'm using Latvian language with Latvian keyboard layout.

so - first problem was that ukelele didn't work in leopard (it wasn't possible to start new layout), but it was possible to edit Tom Gewecke posted layout.
There it is possible to change every thing (dead-key as well).
So I edited it and now i have layout where dead-key works -

I was right. You have no graphics driver installed for the Intel HD graphics adapter.
I am very surprised you were able to install the nVidia driver because usually you get an error that states you need to install the Intel graphics driver first.
Once you install this driver, the Microsoft Basic Display adapter should be replaced by an Intel HD graphics adapter and you should be able to adjust the screen brightness.
Make sure you have installed this Intel chipset driver first and reboot. If you have done this already, you can skip this step.

Problems with multiple idocs in one file ( Inbound file )

We have problems with multiple IDocs in one file.
We are using XIB ( Amtrix ) as Middleware to receive the files.
Curretenly When the file contains one IDoc then there is no problem. IDoc is created and everything is ok.
If file contains two IDocs ( for example two messages ORDERS and DELVERY ) then it is creating two IDocs but both IDocs contains ORDERS plus DELIVERY segements information. That is the problem. Some how SAP unable to differentiate the IDocs in the file.. But it knows that how many idocs are there in the file..because it is creating exact number of idocs.
We are using TRFC port ... Do I need to change it to File port..
When we have more than one idoc do we need set any parameter in the file ...

As of now , Middleware cannot split the file.
Thing is SAP is creating two Idocs with different message types. Problem is First IDoc contains ORDERS message type but also DELIVERY segments as well. Second IDoc with DELIVERY message tyoe but ORDERS segments as well... This is the problem... I think we are missing some field activation in file for EDIDC record.
As far as I know file port supports the number of IDocs in one file.. Hope TRFC port also supports that

Problem with a key figure restriction

Hi,
I have a problem with one key figure in report: in infocube, this key figure is aggrigated for all the profit centers (summation). In infocube, there is a value '150' for each profit centers (100 pieces) and in the report it is counting 150*100=15000. However, it shouldn't count the sum of all entries in the infocube but show only one value in the report which would be '150'.
I think this should be possible to do but I just don't know how. Hope somebody is able to help me. Thanks in advance.

If the values are same for all profit center then change the Profit center infoobject property in the query design to show the maximum values for the 'calculation result as' parameter

Strange problem with linking to external vob-file

I have a strange problem with linking to external vob-file. I
have created a link using BudApi:
on mouseup
set OK = baOpenFile ( the pathname &
"Files\General\Video\VTS_01_1.VOB", "normal")
end
This code opens mpg-videos correctly, but nothing happens
when I try to open vob-files with the same code. The strangest
thing is that when I change the default program for vob-files to
WinDVD this code works and the file opens, but when I change the
default program to Nero Showtime this code doesn't do anything
(when I open the file 'manually' from the folder, it opens
correctly on Nero Showtime). My client uses Nero Showtime, so I
really would appreciate any help on this one.

If you open a command prompt, do you get an association
listed like this
example for .txt files:
C:\>assoc .txt
.txt=txtfile
C:\>ftype txtfile
txtfile="D:\Program Files\JGsoft\EditPadLite\EditPadLite.exe"

Hi I have a problem with internet key Onda MT835UP. It doesn't work, because my imac is more new than internet key.
Can you help me? Can you send me the upgrade for this internet key?

I have called Onda, there isn't the driver for Mac OS X 10.6.7 and they don't know if it'll be released.
So if you have a Mac it's better to not buy Onda internet key,
instead it's better to choose other brands that update the drivers of their products.
