Probleme de rapidité d'acquisition et vitesse de boucle

bonjour,
je souhaite avoir une aide labview a propos d'un probleme de rapidité de boucle et d'acquisition de signal: lorsque je lance mes programmes d'acquisition de signal je me retrouve avec moins d'une boucle d'acquisition du signal pour 2 seconde!
Mais dans un simple programme d'oscilloscope, la boucle est beaucoup plus rapide
j'utilise une carte d'acquisition PCI6024,
le vi de pilotage des moteurs me renvoie parfois également l'erreur 101 de temps en temps mais je ne suis pas capable de la corriger.

je ne comprends pas très bien votre question. Pourriez vous me faire parvenir un exemple mettant en oeuvre le problème d'acquisition que vous rencontrez.
Pour le problème de l'erreur 101, pouvez vous me dire la fonction qui retourne cette erreur?

We are using ECC 6.0 with document splitting functionality and are facing problem while posting asset acquisition using F-90.
The transaction entry details are as below:
Document Type - KR
Vendor Line Item PKey - 31
Amount - 10000
Asset Line Item with PKey - 70, Transaction Type - 100
Amount - 10000
The Document Splitting Rule - 0000000012 is used and the Field Status Group for the Vendor Reconciliation Account and Asset Reconciliation account have Cost Center, Profit Center and Segment as "Optional" field.
The Balance Sheet Item - Asset Reconciliation Account has been created as
Secondary Cost Element - 90.
The Profit Center and Segment field have been made mandatory and zero balancing is also set in the settings for Document Splitting.
While posting asset acquisition using F-90, we are getting the error message - "Balancing Field "Profit Center" in line item 001 not filled"
The first line refers to the Vendor Line item.
Please let me know how to overcome this error.

here you have to put KOSTL (Cost center) for both against APC and Dep run for each Dep area.

Comment optimiser vitesse de boucle pour grab

Bonjour,
J'ai construis un VI qui a pour but de faire le grab d'une camera GigE (1946*1436 ; 40FPS), de pouvoir faire un zoom sur une ROI et de piloter 2 boitiers de commande de platines de translation (GPIB).
Le problème que j'ai est le suivant :
La vitesse de boucle (même sans évenements) est trop lente car lorsque je regarde le fichier avi enregistré, je n'ai pas les 40FPS.
Lorsque je n'avais pas encore mis la commande des platines de translation dans ce programme, tout était OK.
La question est : comment optimiser mon programme pour supprimer ce problème?

Bonjour,
Sous LabVIEW dans le menu Aide>recherche d'exemple, vous avez à disposition de nombreux exemple dont certain propre à l'acquisition d'image (E/S matérielles>IMAQdx. Vous pouvez réaliser un test avec un exemple réalisant un grab cela vous permettra de déterminer si la vitesse d'acquisition est correct.
Un autre point important est le format d'enregistrement, afin de gagner en efficacité il est préférable d'enregistrer les données en brut (Raw) ceci afin d'économiser du temps sur la sauvegarde de chaque image. Le format AVI est trés répandu mais sera consommateur de temps car il faut compreser chaque image qui sera sauvegardé.
Je vous suggére donc de réaliser des essais avec l'exemple qui se trouve dans C:\Program Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW 2011\examples\IMAQ\IMAQdx Examples.llb\Low-Level Grab Raw Data.vi afin de vérifier les performances d'acquisition et de stockage de votre systéme PC avant d'intégrer cette fonctionnalité à votre application par la suite.

Problem with the wifi acquisition

hello all,
Actually this problem is just screwing me from so many days.I have one wireless adapter(serial to wifi adapter) and using that adapter i had designed one wifi amplifier which will sense biosignals and transmit wirelessly...Ok.Now i started writing an application in labview (receiver ) so that whatever data wifi amplifier is sending i should receive and store in a file.For that purpose i am using TCP/IP vis of labview.But the problem is with the connection.Actually my labview program is configured as server and it waits for some client to connect whereas wifi amplifier is by default it is in client mode.Can anybody please tell where the problem is and please post any VI for the connection?

Problem with the analog input acquisition in labview fpga 8.5.1 and CRIO

Hello all,
I am using NI CRIO 9104 RT controller with 9014 FPGA chassis.I am using an Analog input module 9205.My problem is with the acquisition.I am using a
function generator which generates some sine wave of -1 to 1 ,5hz to125khz sine signal and i have connected to 9205 in rse mode.In FPGA vi i had placed the I/O node and placed an indicator(data type FXP).If i connect the i/o node to a chart or graph,i am not able to see the output.?How this problem can bbe solved
Next i had placed a FIFO in DMA transfer mode of depth 1023 which will accept the U32 datatype,so i did some manipulation as mentioned in a tutorial.
Now in RT VI i am reading the same data from the buffer in U32 and doing the reverse manipulation i am able to view the data.Now the problem is ..if i am
increasing the frequency of the input signal,the data is completly lost ?How can i overcome this problem...

Difficult to see where is the problem ....
Be sure you are doing a good RT system by grabing reference design examples
Don't forget to specify the DMA FIFO size in the RT code
Doesn't matter the size of the DMA size under the FPGA project explorer.

Minimise front panel of vi containing timed loop = problem

Is this expected behaviour...
Run the attached VI.
All it is supposed to do is beep every 10 cycles.
When you minimise it and try to restore the front panel though... it locks up for a random amount of time.
I don't think it is supposed to do that. (I'm running it on XP Pro.)
Originally I was chasing this problem in a data acquisition loop. The buffer would overflow and exit the app with an error when it was minimised.
It took all day to track it down to this.
Hmmm... I just tried to save it back to a version 8.0 vi and it doesn't seem to have the same error!

I'm using LabVIEW 8.5.1 on two PCs and it does it on both of them.
I just emailed the vi to a colleague and after a few minimise/maximises it locked up on him too.
I've just found that if I remove the left and right data nodes inside the timed loop the bug seems to go away.
Steps to repeat bug:
1. Minimise all windows (Windows+m)
2. Restore vi front panel and run it. (It should start beeping twice a second)
3. Minimise / Restore it rapidly by repeatedly clicking on the vi's Front Panel 'task bar button' (down the bottom).
After a while the beeping will stop when the front panel is minimised and it wont restore. Then after a while (with or without clicking on the task bar button) the front panel will restore and the missed periods will execute very quickly (as the timed loop does what it is configured to do).
I think because of the simplicity of the example vi the bug doesn't show up as often. When I ran it in the real application (too many vi's to post) it crashed every time. In the real application there isn't much going on in the timed loop, it is just used to queue items into a separate consumer loop. The problem is that when the bug occurs, ALL LABVIEW CODE stops executing, not just the code inside the timed loop. So another vi running in parallel (in a daemon) that retrieves messages from a device queue stops and the device buffer overflows.
Attached is a modified vi to demonstrate that code outside the timed loop stops executing too. The bug occurs here on three different PCs, the only common thing I can think of is LabVIEW 8.5.1.

Asset accounting depriciation calculation for subsequent acquisition

hi,
i have problem while running the depreciation for asset sub sequent acquisition
my asst master is 4000
first acquisition on 01.04.2011 for rs 100000/-
we calculated depreciationwdv method for april month it's working fine
my client had done second acquisition for the same asset master on 01.07.2011 for rs 50000/-
while running depreciation for july month it's calculating dep for first acquisition as is same , the problem is for second acquisition also it;s is calculating dep from 01.04.2011
for this in period control method where we have to change the settings
can anyone help me in this regards

How to calculate acquisition value for specified day

Hi,
in my z program I have a problem how to calculate acquisition value for my asset for specified day.
Example:
I have asset created 8.7.2008 with TTYPE 104 (External asset acquisition) with value 5950.
30.11.2008 there is another TTYPE 272 (Retirement of current-yr acquis., w/o revenue) with value 950.
So BEFORE 30.11.2008 acquisition value is 5950. After is 5000. Is there any function module (or something else) in SAP system where I can send asset number and date a it return to me acquisition value for that day?

your suggestion means that I have to compute acquisition value by myself (sum all TTYPE 1** - sum all TTYPE 2**). So SAP does't provide such functionality (LDB ADA have it, because it can compute acquisitiob value for specific day)?

Problem triggering NI-9234 from 9401

I am trying to trigger a 9234 from a 9401 connected to a PLC. There are 4 input triggers connected to the first 4 channels of the 9401, corresponding to 4 phases of a test. For each phase of the test, I am looking for a trigger on a different channel. The problem is that the acquisition is triggered from any of the 4 input channels, i.e. when I specify a trigger on the first channel, PFI0, a trigger from PFI1, PFI2 or PFI3 also causes the acquisition to launch.
In using the NI example, “Acq&Graph Voltage-Int Clk-Dig Start.vi”, I am able to reproduce this behavior. I configure the trigger source to be PFI0, Rising Edge, on the 9401. The acquisition is triggered even if the rising edge is passed on channel 1, 2 or 3. Trigger signal level is 0-5V.

I have figured out the problem and the solution. To simulate the triggers sent by the PLC, a box was made containing 4 switches supplied by a common 5V source. Apparently, electronic noise is generated when a switch is activated and fed back though the other switches. This was causing erroneous triggers to be detected. So, I added a trigger property node, enabled the digital filter on the trigger signal with a minimum pulse width of 0.1 milliseconds (0.0001 sec). This cured the problem of triggering from any channel.
The filtering will also be useful to help eliminate false triggers caused by electronic noise in the production environment, which has also been a problem.

9401 sur cDAQ9178 acquisition de 2 codeurs

J'ai un problème pour faire deux acquisitions bufferisées sur une carte NI9401 montée dans un cDAQ9178.
Si j'essaye de faire une tache (dans MAX) avec ctr0 et ctr1 de la 9401, j'ai un message qui me dit que je ne peux avoir seulement un compteur par tache.
Si je fais deux taches, à l'exécution de LabVIEW j'ai le message:
L'erreur -201133 s'est produite à : DAQmx Start Task.vi:10
Raisons possibles :
Le périphérique ne peut pas être configuré en entrée ou en sortie car des lignes ou des terminaux qui lui sont connectés sont utilisés par une autre tâche ou une autre connexion. Cette opération nécessite que toutes les lignes et tous les terminaux soient temporairement réservés à la communication, ce qui interfère avec l'autre tâche ou connexion.
Si possible, utilisez DAQmx - Contrôler une tâche pour réserver toutes les tâches qui utilisent ce périphérique avant de programmer ces tâches. Sinon, libérez ou déprogrammez l'autre tâche ou débranchez l'autre connexion avant d'essayer de configurer le périphérique en entrée ou sortie.

Why does the acquisition from vhs tape stops ?

I am having some problems when doing an acquisition from a VHS tape ...
Each time the vhs tape is very bad, the acquisition stops.
I am looking for a solution so that the acquisition doesn't stop from the begining

Are your preferences set to "Abort capture on dropped frames"?

If so, try unchecking the box.

I have developed a small code, that can acquire continusly frames from a IEEE1394 camera, and stores it to HDD. I am using the DIVX4.12 compressor in order to achieve smaller file sizes. Every some time, the system changes avi file in order to have smaller files. The camera is a ordinary firewire web camera that works great with the IMAQ 2.0.1. The labview version i am using for that project is LV7.1.
the problem starts when the system works continusly for over 4-5 hours. It suddently crashes the computer causing it to restart. there is not a specific time that this occurs. it is completely random.
I am sorry but i am not able to locate the reason for that
My only thought would be a memmory problem, from the continous acquisition, but I am checking the system memmory from taskmanager but it appears to be ok.
Any ideas on how to locate this problem?
My only thought is to move this project to labview 8.5, but again i dont think that this will solve it...

It is the most possible to be a memory problem. The task manager will not show you the problem.
Check your buffers. Possible overflow can cause this. (I have done it with VISA buffers)

Having problems with encoder readings due to motor commutation noise

Hello everyone,
I wanted to ask for advice with a hardware problem which I believe is rather usual.
Here I describe my application:
We are controlling an electric actuator for a robotics application. We are using encoders to take position readings and we need to perform analog acquisition for other measurements (such as force measured with strain gauges).
The problem is:
In summary, I am having problems to acquire properly position readings from a quadrature linear encoders and also some analog inputs. The cause is the commutation noise generated by the motor drive we are using (which is a brushless dc motor Moog BN-23-23).
Our acquisition platform is a NI PXI-8106 with a PXI-1042Q chassis. We have two possibilities to acquire the signals. We have a multifunction DAQ M series NI PXI-6259 and a FlexRIO NI PXI-7951R with a DIO module NI PXI-6581R.
The commutation noise have a frequency of 30 kHz. In an oscilloscope we can see a series of noise peaks that are only present during a short period of time (about 1/10 of the period of the noise). The rest of the time the noise is not present.
The Accelnet amplifier module that feeds the electric motor provides us with a clock signal synchronized with the noise (which frequency is about 1/4 of the noise frequency). This clock signal provides a mean to solve the problem of the analog acquisition. We can use this clock to perform a buffered acquisition with an external clock in LabView connecting the clock to a PFI pin or to the FPGA card. But the noise is also corrupting this clock signal (we get a daqmx error warning us about possible glitches in the clock signal, and also stopping the acquisition). I believe that solving the encoder problem we can solve also the analog acquisition problem.
In the encoder readings the noise is making our counter count upwards or backwards gradually rather fast. We can get an increase in position of about 10 cm/second without any appreciable movement in the linear actuator.
It would be of great help if anyone could post the solution he is using to solve this problem.

PS: I insist in my belief that we are having a hardware issue, because we are only having bad readings when the electric motor is working. I am convinced so because we have already performed encoder and analog readings using other drives, such as hydraulic cylinders. Thus, I think that it is not a problem of our software (of our LabView VI).

I'm not sure why the noise would be causing your encoder measurement to increment more slowly... However I do have one suggestion on the M Series board (6259):
The M Series cards have built-in digital filtering on the PFI lines (see the M Series User Manual). It sounds like the noise is a series of ~3 us pulses (1/10 of 1/30 kHz). One of the available filtering frequencies that you may set on your M Series is 6.425 us, which should ignore any pulses (high or low) that are less than 6.425 us. You may set digital filtering with a DAQmx Property Node:
A caveat is that the driver only allows you to configure digital filtering for counter inputs on M Series devices. So, you could use digital filtering directly on your encoder task but not for your AI Sample Clock. A workaround can be found here, which involves configuring a dummy counter task to set the PFI filter for your AI task. If you're using the same PFI line for your encoder and AI task, you should just be able to set the PFI filter through the encoder task and not worry about the workaround.
With regards to the Flex RIO, I believe you could implement something similar on the FPGA, but I'm probably not the best person to comment about this. It would likely be a great deal more work than using the built-in filtering of the DAQmx API.

At MB download section, at drivers there is a driver for IRST, while it can not be installed as driver setup gives message that system does not have minimum requirements met.

In BIOS there is a section for IRST, but that option can not be selected or changed from "Disabled".
Chipset and CPU have support for this technology and after reading forums I can confirm that this option is working properly on different manufacturers boards with same configuration (Gigabyte and ECS).
Conclusion is that MSI designers overlooked this section of BIOS, and that IRST section of it is bugged.
Can this be solved?
BTW, I have sent question about this issue at MSI support with no answer yet.
