Problems in UI editor

Problem 1, Cosmetic but confusing.
After using the UI editor to layout a JClient panel, jbinit() is a mess. Some of the initialiatiuon code is placed beneath a different field's comment.
Eventually all the comments appear together at the start of jbinit(). At this stage it's just a cosmetic problem as it's obvious the UI editor has messed-up the source and jbinit() operates correctly.
When the comments are incorrectly interspersed with the code then it's misleading until you realise that this has happened.
Problem 2. Bug.
After creating a new JPanel and then moving the dataPanel to it with cut-and-paste, jbinit contains an extra line for every Component:
dataPanel.add(mSenderAccountCode, null);
dataPanel.add(labelSenderAccountCode, null);
These appear after the regular jbinit() code, and the UI editor continues to work and display the panel correctly. The spurious lines must be deleted before the code can be run.

Bug 2511147 which will be fixed in the next version should handle the extraneous code from the cutting and pasting.

I have Install Oracle 11g release 2 on my 32 bit windows OS.
But I am having Little problem while opening editor
1) when ever i am typing ed in sql prompt I am having error
   Cannot create save file "afiedt.buf"
   How ever i have tried with the define editor command
   ie define_editor="Notepad"; the command is executing successfully but still i am having same error while typing ed
2)My second problem is i am not able to select anything for copy and paste even
   right mouse click button is also not working for paste

sir i have one more doubt
suppose my select statement is resulting some 4000 rows but i am only able to see the last
2500 to 4000 rows by scrolling up and down after the select has been made. I am facing this problem in 11g r2 only.
In 10g there was no such problem
so i want to know how to increase the size of sqlplus prompt so that i could see the entire
selected rows by scrolling up and down

Probleme mit ACR Editor 8.1

Hi,
ich habe bereits im Camera Raw Forum geschrieben (im schlechten englisch,hihi). Nun schreibe ich hier auch nochmal mein Problem, vllt. kann das jemand nachvollziehen und hat das gleiche Problem.
Ich habe Photoshop CS6 als CC Produkt. Dazu habe ich gestern das Update auf Adobe Camera Raw 8.1 gemacht.
Nun habe ich folgendes Problem, vllt. mag das jemand mal ausprobieren
Ich öffne eine PSD Datei. Ich vereine alle Ebenen auf eine Ebene (Strg+Shift+alt+e). Gehe auf den ACR Editor. Ebene wird zum Smart Objekt und das RAW Fenster öffnet sich (TIFF 8.1 steht oben im Fenster).
Nun kann ich etwas ändern, oder auch nicht ändern und klicke auf "Ok".
Jetzt wir das Bild verkleinert in die Ebene gelegt. Ich müßte es wieder hochskalieren, damit es über die bisherigen Ebenen passt. Gleiches passiert auch, wenn ich die Hintergrundebene einfach kopiere und den ACR Editor starte.
Klicke ich in der Bridge auf "Öffnen mit Camera RAW" passiert das übrigens nicht.
In den Einstellungen in Raw ist "In Bildschirm einpassen" nicht angehakt.Haken ist gesetzt bei "In Photoshop als Smartobjekt öffnen".
Hat jemand eine Idee? Der Adobe Support sagte mir, ich könne nur downgraden in dem ich Photoshop neu installiere (ich finde 7.4. nicht zum download ).

Ich versuch es mal besser zu beschreiben
Ich öffne ein jpeg in Photoshop CS6. Ich kopiere die Hintergrundebene. Ebene 1 öffne ich über Datei---->Skripten (müßte skripten sein, hab PS grad nicht vor Augen) -->Adobe ACR Editor.
Nun ändere ich beispielsweise Farbtemperatur oder auch gar nichts und klicke auf "ok". Nun sollte die Ebene 1 ja die Hintergrundebene überlagern. Das macht sie auch, aber ca. 30% verkleinert als ursprünglich kopiert.
Klicke ich in Camera Raw auf den blauen Link, sind keine Haken gesetzt bei "In Bildschirm einpassen" und die originale Grösse der Datei wird ebenfalls korrekt angezeigt.
Den alternativen Weg habe ich auch probiert-->Filter Camera RAW - das Problem mit der viel kleineren Ebene bleibt dann aber leider trotzdem bestehen.

Help,Intermittent problems accessing the Editor in Elements 10

Sometimes when I try to access the Editor,either from the Organizer or directly, it will let me in and I can then edit several images, without any problems. Then without warning it fails, and I cannot access the Editor in any of the editing Modes. The only way I have been able to to overcome the problem is to come out of Elements and Reboot my PC, then re enter Elements and start afresh.
I am using a Sony Vaio PC with wndows7 Home Premium, and AVG security. I have also fairly recently installed a Bambo Pen and Touch tablet, but I think the problem stems back from before that installation.
I am not very "computer literate" but any help or suggestions will be much appreciated.

Bypass the Unwelcome Screen by creating Desktop shortcuts for the Organizer and the Editor, and restarting your computer.
The Editor's executable is:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 10\PhotoshopElementsEditor.exe"
The Organizer's executable is:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Elements 10 Organizer\PhotoshopElementsOrganizer.exe"
The Unwelcome Screen leaves a zombie process running which prevents the actual program from launching again.

we received the following message:
"The data starting at position 510 is not a valid EDI interchange. The remainder of the data file was ignored. "
It identifies the header (MSH Segment) well, but it can not identify the message body.
It is very strange, because we've selected HL7 as the message format on the previous step but aparently this message is a EDI format message. This message occurs on any file we have or with any HL7 message found on the internet (http://www.dt7.com/cdc/sampmsgs.html)
We can open the document with the Data Editor, but if we change any value and save it, it is impossible to open the message with the Analyzer:
"The data in the file could not be parsed. Please check the file to verify that it is valid and formatted correctly. This error can occur for one of the following reasons: A) The data file may be a Word document or have some other binary format. B) The envelope data may not be formatted properly. If this is an X12 data file, please verify that the ISA segment is the correct size (exactly 106 characters). If this is an EDIFACT data file, it must have either a UNA or begin with UNB. For other standards, verify that the envelope segments conform to the specified rules. C) The segment/record delimiters in the file are incorrect."
We are running the B2B Document Editor version 6.0.0.1471 with the 6.0.4.84 version of HL7 Database version.
Can you give us any advice ?

As per Jeff's post even we have observed OD OA at the end of the line. Please use a hex editor or B2B document editor to correct the same. We have done the above steps and are not getting the mentioned errors. HTH.

Several Problems with Visual Editor 1.1

I have installed the latest version of visual editor and also the emf and gef version required,the problem comes when i try to create a new Vsual class after i choose the property of the class such as name and so on and clicked finish My visual editor is empty.....the palette for visual component doesn't appear.
The visual editor creates a little window and duplicates it evrey time i click in the visualEditor page......please help me...i don't know what i have to do.... i tried the impossible but visual editr still doesn't work!

and I have tried it twice to download WLS6.1 and always the same problem....so

As for the last point (quick deploy of ejbs without compiling the classes)- Has
anybody managed to do it? It really could be helpful is somebody, who managed
to deploy a bean like this (without compiling) could post it to me, so I can examine
it...

Facing problem with layout editor in screen painter .

I have installed IDES ECC 6.0 in my home system. Now when I go to layout editor in screen painter, I am getting rows in the screen. As per my knowledge there is an installation problem ..How to rectify that ? Could any one please tell me.

some times SAP Gui behaves like this, in my case i faced this problem many times, some times after shutdown my sap logon pad. and restart the sap , go to se51 , it will open the Screen painter normally. But some cases i uninstalled the Gui, and re installed .then only it opens properly. select all components when installing.

Problem in creating editor

Iam creating editor using java swings. Actually my wish is to divide the screen into two parts horizontally. Upper part will be editable, lower part will be non editable
now my problem is , if i drag the border in between the two screens , if i drag upwards then the lowerpart screen should be increased towards up and upperpart should decrease from downwards
and vice-versa
please send me a clarification as quickly as possible

Problems with AppleScript Editor.app in Snow Leopard

I have been using the Satimage.osax scripting addition with Script Editor.app in Leopard without problem. After I upgraded to Snow Leopard, the Script Editor.app was replaced by AppleScript Editor.app in which the following one-line script
change "," into "." in "3,1416"
compiles without error but it gives an error when I try to run it: as if AppleScript Editor.app was not able to load the ScriptingAdditions (despite the fact that it correctly shows the dictionary for the Satimage.osax scripting addition).
When I decided to get back the old "Script Editor.app" and use it in Snow Leopard to run the above script, I found... no error! It ran correctly.
Anybody observed similar problems with the AppleScript Editor.app and ScriptingAdditions?
Can anybody offer a solution other than trash the new AppleScript Editor.app and stick to the old Script Editor.app?

Problem with Theme Editor

Hi,
I have installed Ep 6.0 SP12 along with KM. I want to customize it, but when I open the theme editor in the portal, it shows portal runtime exception and the stack trace in the logviewer shows "JAVA.lang.outofmemoryerror".
I upgraded my heapsize to 1.5 GB using config tool.
but i get the same problem.

Hi Folks,
I am facing some problem in using ADOBE interactive forms.
I am using SAP NETWEAVER DEVELOPMENT STUDIO
Version: 2.0.10
In Web Dynpro project
after making UI Element Interactive form, to EDIT..it gives the error as
An error has occured when creating this editor.
Do we require any prerequisite s/w to be installed of ADOBE?

I just checked in CSS and there is a customer message for this with this solution:
"Along with the IDE installation there is a file "WDAdobeControl.dll".
I suspect that this is not registered. Could you please perform the
following steps to register the above mentioned file.
1. Close the IDE.
2. Open the command prompt.
3. Type, regsvr32 "<full path of NW Studio plugins directory>\
   com.sap.ide.webdynpro.adobetemplatedesigner\lib\WDAdobeControl.dll"
4. Re-open the IDE and try to open edit the Adobe form."
I tried this and it worked fine for me.

Problem using external editor in iPhoto

Using Adobe photoshop CS5 the returned image to Iphoto can not be edited with the Iphoto editor. When the image is exported only an elarged section is exported

What image format is the file? I may be preaching to the choir but maybe some of this will be of interest to you?
Using Photoshop or Photoshop Elements as Your Editor of Choice in iPhoto.
1 - select Photoshop or Photoshop Elememts as your editor of choice in iPhoto's General Preference Section's under the "Edit photo:" menu.
2 - double click on the thumbnail in iPhoto to open it in Photoshop. When you're finished editing click on the Save button. If you immediately get the JPEG Options window make your selection (Baseline standard seems to be the most compatible jpeg format) and click on the OK button. Your done.
3 - however, if you get the navigation window
that indicates that PS wants to save it as a PS formatted file. You'll need to either select JPEG from the menu and save (top image) or click on the desktop in the Navigation window (bottom image) and save it to the desktop for importing as a new photo.
This method will let iPhoto know that the photo has been editied and will update the thumbnail file to reflect the edit..
NOTE: With Photoshop Elements the Saving File preferences should be configured as shown:
I also suggest the Maximize PSD File Compatabilty be set to Always. In PSE’s General preference pane set the Color Picker to Apple as shown:
Note: to switch between iPhoto and PS or PSE as the editor of choice Control (right)-click on the thumbnail and select either Edit in iPhoto or Edit in External Editor from the contextual menu. If you use iPhoto to edit more than PSE re-select iPhoto in the iPhoto General preference pane. Then iPhoto will be the default editor and you can use the contextual menu to select PSE for your editor when desired.
Give this a try: Try this: launch iPhoto with the Option key held down and create a new, test library. Import some photos, edit with CS5 and and check to see if the same problem persists.

PC Suite 6.83.14.1 problem with Text Editor

I'm getting error while executing the Text Editor of PC Suite and Click on To. for selecting the address.
I'm using USB cable to connect my phone with the Notebook.
I found the below error.

Problem using new editor

Hi people! I hava a strange issue in my machine. I'm currently using SapGUI 710 patch level 7 in my PC. I'm trying to use the new editor, but when I set it and try to open any source codes in SE38 or in SE80 (source codes editor in general) the SapGUI freezes and the only way to get off this, is endind SapLogon with a right click on tray of windows.
Anyone already seen this? If I use the new editor in other machine with the same SapGUI and same server, its works fine...this problem is specific to my machine...

I encountered the same problem last week in upgrading from 710 Patch 5 to 710 Patch 9. Uninstalling and applying a previous patch to the last one you installed will fail also. Incidentally prior to installing Patch 9, I was happily editing source code in the new editor.
This is how I managed to resolve it:
Had a look around the net and found information on SAPSWEEP.EXE (created by SAP themselves). Used SAPSWEEP.EXE from the setup folder of SAP GUI 640 - this will remove Registry entries and files if you tell it too. I cleared everything at first. If you use this, pull the network cable on the machine in question just in case. It detected a SAP GUI setup I had copied to my Temp folder in case I lost network access, and did think about removing that however I stopped the program running at that point. So it may (I don't know as I did not want it to check the Network drives) delete install instances if you are not careful.
I then removed the following folders (due to the failed uninstall earlier):
C:\Program Files\SAP
C:\Program Files\Common\SAP Shared
C:\Documents and Settings\<my userid>\SapWorkDir
C;\Documents and Settings\<my userid>\Local Settings\Temp (all files removed)
Rebooted laptop.
Re-installed SAP GUI 710 Patch 0. Editing code worked at this point.
Re-installed SAP GUI 710 Patch 9 and still able to edit the code.
I believe my problem came about after a possible corruption involving LIBRFC32.DLL, but I then also lost network connectivity and the ability to acquire a DHCP delivered IP Address. I understand that in 710 the RFC methods have been enhanced, plus MS recompiled the LIBRFC32.DLL using Visual Studio 2005 (rather than .NET 2003).
I have not upgraded to Patch 10 (corporately we are evaluating Patch 9 for release).

Problem mit Diashow Editor in Elements 8

Hallo,
mit Elements 8 kann ich zwar eine Diashow erstellen, beim Abspielen bleibt das Fenster im Editor und bei Vollbild jedoch schwarz. Ich sehe unten, dass die Show läuft und höre auch die Musik. Mit Elements 7 hatte ich kein Problem.
Ergänzung:
1. Wenn ich auf einzelne Bilder klicke erscheinen diese im Fenster.
2. Ich habe mit Diashows, die ich mit Elemenst 7 erstellt habe und die damals korrekt funktioniert haben, nun im Diashow Editor von Elements 8 das gleiche Problem. Hat sonst wirklich niemand das gleiche Problem?

Ich habe Elements 7 wieder installiert und konnte nun die Diashow erstellen. Das Problem liegt somit beim Diashow-Editor von Elements 8.
I reinstalled Elements 7 and was able to create the Diashow. So problem must be with the Diashow Editor of Elemets 8.

Printing Problems in Elements Editor

I have been usint Photoshop Elements 9 editor the last couple of days just fine to print pictures but just today when I want to print there is an error message that says. Could not complete printing job, or it says printing error 10. I can print out of organizer but I was printing edited pictures out of editor before. Can anyone help me with this problem?

Please specify the image size and the exact settings and paper size you choose.Also attach the screen shot of the print preview shown. Kindly expalin in detail what is the difference between the preview and the actual result you got. Also you could try printing from the Organiser and verify if the problems exists there as well.
