Problems listing locked accounts

Hi!
I'm having some problems listing locked accounts. They usual receipe is "log in to the SSO self-service console (oiddas) - choose Directory, then Users, there it will be some unlock-options etc." However, I don't have that option within the Users-bracket, and can't seem to find it anywhere else.
We also have an Oracle Collab. Suite, someone has whispered in my ear that this might be the reason the design of oiddas is a bit different. How can I now find the locked accounts? Sql, ldapsearch? Anyone?

Are you still having issues when trying to access your sub-accounts? Is it only some of them or all of them?

For 10.7, hold down Command R at Startup and you get recovery Mode Utilities.
Choose Disk Utility. Select your Hard drive. Check the SMART Status for "Verified. Select the Boot Volume, by default it is "Macintosh HD".Run REPAIR disk. If it completes without incident, run Repair Permissions as well.
You can also hold down Option at Startup, and Choose Recovery HD as the boot device. It gets you to the same place in Utilities.

List of accounts is empty in UCM 11gPS3

I'm testing the accounts in UCM.
- I enable the Account first and restart Content Server
- I created a group @test_RWDA in weblogic Server with the administration console
- I added the user weblogic in this group
- I logged in UCM as weblogic and go to my profile: in the Accounts list, there is the account test,#all,#none and so on
- Now, when I want to check in a document, the drop-down list of account is empty. If I fill test in the account input box and I fill out the form, the document is checked in correctly
In the search satndard form, the drop-down list is also empty.
Can anybody tell me the solution for this problem. May be I 've forgotten to enable something...

I am logging on with weblogic admin user (not the local sysadmin). From memory, I think I initially had only an 'Account' text field on the check-in, after enabling Accounts, and when adding predefined accounts, an empty drop-down appeared just next to it. This drop-down (but not the text box) then disappeared after deleting the previously created predefined accounts.
Now, i can't recall the order of what happened yesterday after I posted the problem, but I know I restarted a couple of times with newly created predefined accounts and nothing happened to the check-in drop-down.
Then I created one account during check-in. That worked. It's attached to content, and does not appear in drop-down, although FireFox remembers it as an input value to the text field.
And then this morning adding predifined account works and populates the list. Same user, same browser did not even restart UCM. Bizarre.
(I had a look at the page sourec, I noticed #none and #all values but nothing else. Can see now that Javascript populates that dropdown, but not asynchronous, so script contains the values to insert)

there some customers with this groups i want to lock, but i will avoid that there are new customers with
this groups.

Yes Basis Consultant will ristrict the authorization of creating certain Customer Groups as satish said.
So Provide the List of Customer grps to Basis Consultant and ask him to ristrict to all the users.

Problem with an account from exchange to google

I have migrated an email account from exchange to google. My issue is that when I add the calendar, in the list of accounts I see a ghost account with the exchange icon show up. It does eventually go away but the google caledar is never usable. It seems that contacts and email seem to work ok but not the calendar. It also seem to be related to the entire domain. The same thing happens if I try to add an account that is on the same domain but has never been added to my phone before. I can add google acounts from other domains just fine (as long as it has never been an exchange account on my phone.
Also the accuont is added just fine to a friend of mines palm pre that never had an exchange account.

Just for test ,make a new account ( system pref ->account -> + button ) , and try configure mail again
if that work , your problem with mail locate on your account ( preference , caches ,font somwhere into library folder )
if not work in new accout , may have problem in mail app or system

Welcome to the Apple community Kobra.
Unfortunately, you cannot do very much with your phone unless you get assistance from the previous owner, they should either provide you with the password to unlock it or remove their account from the phone entirely remotely through iCloud.com > Find My Phone.

Random account added to my list of accounts

Hey, when I logged on this morning, I noticed an account that wasn't mine.
([e-mail removed for privacy and security]) was added to my list of accounts I'm managing. I don't know why this is here and I was wondering if any of you did. If you guys can help, that would be good. Its not much of a problem, more like an annoyance to have it there.

Hey Casper,
There's some sort of conflict with a content holder you have placed within the page. When you remove it the url restores back to normal.
I would look into this script in the "add this" content holder which most likely is affecting the output of the url.

Admin problems with my account

So to be short I wanted to add an aggregate audio device using Audio MIDI Setup, but it wouldn't let me, and I came to the conclusion that it was an administrative problem. I then enabled the root account, logged in, and was able to add an audio device without a problem.
My account is listed as an admin in system preferences, and its the only account on the mac.
When I logged out of the root and logged back into my regular account, the problem was still there.
I've deleted the preferences for audio but of course that didn't solve the problem either.
Is there a way to make sure, and enable, that I have all administrative capabilities on my account? And if so how do I do it?

I would recommend running permissions repair using disk utility. And if necessary booting to the system disk and opening Reset Password from the utilities menu. Select your hard drive and then your user and then reset the ACLs

If your account is disabled then you might be able to re-enable it via this page : http://appleid.apple.com, then 'reset your password'
You might then need to log out of your account on your phone by tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and then log back in so as to 'refresh' the account on it
If that doesn't fix it then you might need to contact iTunes Support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page

"There is a problem with your account..." when opening online OneNote file within local OneNote app

We have a tenancy DirSync connection a small number of staff so that they can have access to SharePoint, Visio and OneNote Online. When one such user logs onto the http://[groupsite].sharepoint.com site on his Windows 7 PC with Office 2013 installed,
he can access the site successfully. He might then open a OneNote file online. However, if he was to then click the "Open In OneNote" button from the toolbar, and clicked "Yes" to the Microsoft OneNote Security Notice:
"Microsoft Office has identified a potential security concern. This location may be unsafe".
... and then sign in with the same account to this box
... and then enters his correct credentials into the next "Sign In" window, it returns with the following message:
"There is a problem with your account. Please try again later".
Finally, the following message is returned within the MS OneNote app:
"We couldn't open that location. It might not exist or you might not have permission to open it. Please contact the owner of onenote:https://[groupsite].sharepoint.com/sites/....one#SharePoint Team Site for more information."
The user has reinstalled MS OneNote 2013 on the PC with no change. We have also removed all cached credentials from within Windows Credential Manager and rebooted with no success. The user can access all web-based resources such as SharePoint, OneNote and
Visio, and he can open web-based Visio files locally on the locally-installed Visio app with no issues. This problem is specifically experienced when opening an online version of OneNote locally on a PC that has either MS OneNote 2010 or OneNote 2013.
Any assistance that you may be able to provide would be greatly appreciated.

My Windows Account is already used to log into OneNote. It is the same Windows Account used to log into, and access online, the SharePointOnline, OneNote Online, etc., services. I tried, indeed, to sign out from my account within the client-version of OneNote
but it returns the message "We can't remove Windows accounts".
Again, this is the only account that has been used with this installation of OneNote, and it is that which has been uploaded by way of DirSync to Azure. It works for online versions of OneNote items, SharePoint and Visio, and for VisioOnline-based files
that are opened within the local client-version of Visio. When trying to open the OneNote Online notebook within the local client-version of OneNote we get this issue.
I have reinstalled Office with no success.
Any help that you can provide in this regard would be greatly appreciated.

Error "Problem occured locking WS object" while activating Proxy

I have move an Inbout proxy to a different Client(QA system) and in QA system that proxy shows incative.
When i tried to activate that proxy/service in Sproxy, getting error "Problem occured locking WS object".
Proxy was active in development system and was working fine without any error.
Please provide some help, what need to be done to fix this issue

Hi Harshit,
Try with the following steps in sequence:
1. Re-genarate the proxy in Development - Create a New Transport Reuest.
2. Transport the Proxy from PI Dev to PI OA
3. Confirm the Proxy in PI QA and then, transport the re-generated Request from ECC Dev to ECC QA.

I used a prepaid Visa card on ITunes. The card no longer has money on it. It keeps telling me that there is a problem with my account (it's out of money).

I do not have a regular credit card. I used a prepaid credit card on my ITunes account for a little while, but now the prepaid card is out of money. Every time I try to download new FREE apps, it says there is a problem with my account and that I need to put in new card information. There is no option for selecting none. I tried deleting the old information and entering it as a blank. It will not accept it. Every time I try to download free apps, it comes back with the account information page, and then I can go no further. I cannot even download an update to my IPad from Apple. Help!!

App. automatically launches, but not listed in accounts/startup items

I have a pesky application which automatically launches on start-up, yet it's not listed in accounts/startup items. It's called Microtek scanner finder. I seem to remember it started doing it when I originally got the scanner and installed software, and although it's always niggled I didn't mind when I was using the scanner. However, I'm not using the scanner anymore so want to be rid of it in my dock. Where the heck is it coming from? I don't want to chuck all the software as there may be an occasion where I need to scan a transparency, when I'll need to get the old scanner down from the loft... any ideas? It definitely launches as there is a little black triangle beneath the icon in the dock. If I quit it, it disappears but is back there again on another start-up grrrrr.

Hi, Kathykate. I have a similar Epson Scanner Monitor application that starts up each time I restart my computer. (Mine does appear in Sys Prefs > Accounts > my account > Startup Items, so I could delete it from there if I wanted to.) It runs all the time in the background, using a tiny amount of CPU and memory, and it has no user interface at all: If I quit it, nothing visibly changes, and if I open it again, there's no visible sign that it's open (including no icon in the dock for it). Its only function is to detect my Epson Scanner when I plug it in and turn it on. I ignore it the rest of the time, because whether it's running or not has no impact whatsoever on anything I do. I suggest that you take the same attitude toward your Microtek app.
