Problems whit loading bar!

Hello,
I got a problem with the loading bar from Flash.
I'm using a script to import a list of movies from a XML
file. Only now i want to use a loading bar to show the progress of
the files loaded. But i can't get it to work. It only show the
loading of the first file.
Can someone help me please?
(The script is based on the Sample included with Flash Pro,
the Gallary Tween)
Thanx.

Suggest you create an array with root level scope.
var movieClips:Array = new Array()
Then in the function
movieClips.push(thisMC);
That will keep the reference alive. You can use thisMC in the
function and outside the function if necessary you can use the
array.
Thanks for the reaction.
But that doesn't work like i want.
But i have a solution already.
Thanks anyway.

I am going to sell my second generation ipod touch, so i resetted it to factory defaults. It said it would take up to an hour, and i patiently waited. But when the black and white loading bar completed, the ipod went to the black screen with an apple logo on it. Sounds about right, right? But now, there is a processing circle on top of the logo, but the circle spins once, and stops at about halfway to the bottom. It just stays there, and about every half to one hour it becomes a white screen and starts all over again. (not the loading bar part, just the circle). I've tried holding the power and the home button, and it works, but it just goes back to the circle screen with the apple logo. HELP PLEASE?

    Try:
    - iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
    - If not successful and you can't fully turn the iPod fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
    - If still not successful that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

  • (MSI ECLIPSE)White loading bar b4 windows start

    My System Spec is
    Main Board MSI Eclipse; Corei7 920 2.6Ghz;3X2GB DDR3 TR3X6G1600C8D;WD Caviar Black 1TB;MSI GTX 295;Casing HAF 932 ;Cooler Master 750W;Cooler Master-90HS/120 fan;Lite on DVD Combo 2;Cooling Solution Cooler Master Z600;
    Problem:-
I install a fresh windows xp64-bit.And installed driver,s in my drive no software no application.
when my computer power on.my mobo display and then a white-bar came after they complete then window load.
my friend laughing on CORE i7 :O(
(Because on core2quad pc or normal P4 PC no white bar came during starting windows

So what is the problem? Windows isnt booting at all? It hangs on the 'white bar' ?
If your comment is that you see the white bar and your mate doesnt it could be because of many reasons. I see it on my core i7 on the cold boot, but not on the warm reboot / system restart. Ive got an ssd and you'd think it would boot quick.. and it does once the system has figured out where the swap space is on the drive. I dont notice the x58 chipset being any slower than other current pc's. MSI's boards do seem to do a few more checks for system integrity on startup than other manufacturers but this isnt a bad thing.
Um.. so is there a problem or is this an observation about the white bar?

  • Start up w white "loading bar"??

I have a VERY slow 2009 w snow leopard. "install osx" popped up, i read thru some comments, didn't select to install osx, but didnt close the window. later i turned off comp hoping would work faster when restarting.  i'm starting my comp now, seeing white screen with a long oval that is very slowly filling in from left.  I'm assuming its a loading progress bar.i dont want the new os (hoping thats what it is, otherwise have no idea!)
i turned it off twice manually, eaachrestart only shows the apple w bar. how do I STOP the installation/whatever this is? i need to finish backing up my daughter's pics!!

    amorp,
you can try this: boot from your MacBook Pro’s grey Mac OS X Install DVD. When the desktop appears, select Utilities from the menu bar, then select Disk Utility. On the left-hand side of the Disk Utility window, select your internal disk’s boot partition (typically called “Macintosh HD”). On the right-hand side, press the Verify Disk button if it’s not greyed out; if it is greyed out, or if it reports that errors were found, press the Repair Disk button. Once the verification/repair is completed, exit Disk Utility and select Restart from the Apple menu to restart in normal mode. Are you able to get past the white screen now?

  • Mavericks stuck on loading bar (about 40%)

My Macbook pro is a may (SSD) edition, can't give you the spec because I can't use it.
This is how I bricked my MBP...
    Installed Yosemite beta.
Accidently chmodded my root directories locking me out of the OS
Ran fsck -fy in single user mode (equivelant of repair drive so I'm told). No errors.
Entered recovery mode and repaired permissions. No errors.
Entered recovery mode and repaired drives. No errors.
Gave up and re-installed OSX back to mavericks. No errors.
Now the laptop boots to a black screen with the white apple logo and a white loading bar that gets to about 40% and then will set there for hours doing nothing (tried for about 4 hours). Even a system recovery won't fix the issue so I'm stumped.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks in advance.

Install Mavericks, Lion/Mountain Lion Using Internet Recovery
Be sure you backup your files to an external drive or second internal drive because the following procedure will remove everything from the hard drive.
Boot to the Internet Recovery HD:
Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND-OPTION- R keys until a globe appears on the screen. Wait patiently - 15-20 minutes - until the Recovery main menu appears.
Partition and Format the hard drive:
Select Disk Utility from the main menu and click on the Continue button.
After DU loads select your newly installed hard drive (this is the entry with the mfgr.'s ID and size) from the left side list. Click on the Partition tab in the DU main window.
Under the Volume Scheme heading set the number of partitions from the drop down menu to one. Click on the Options button, set the partition scheme to GUID then click on the OK button. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Partition button and wait until the process has completed. Quit DU and return to the main menu.
Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion. Mavericks: Select Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion, Mavericks and click on the Install button. Be sure to select the correct drive to use if you have more than one.
Note: You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest using Ethernet if possible because it is three times faster than wireless.

I do hope you have recent backup, because it look like your hard disk is failing. You can start up in Recovery Mode, and run Disk Utility to see if the disk can be fixed:  OS X: About OS X Recovery - Apple Support

    Priscilla,
if your Mac is still in warranty, then you should contact the Argentinian technical support service. If it is out of warranty, then we can try to lend a hand. (We’re just fellow Apple product users here.)

  • I dropped my iPhone 5s and white vertical bars problem

    Hey all,
Recently today I dropped my iPhone 5s and white vertical bars started to appear in the right hand side of my phone... Do I just need to get my screen replaced or is there more to the problem?

Apple doesn't replace the display on the 5s, only the 5 and the 5c. Probably wouldn't matter anyway. The damage is probably more extensive than just the display.
Make an appointment at the genius bar. A replacement is $269 if you don't have AppleCare+

  • Yosemite load bar color changes / from black to white

    Hello there,
is anyone experiencing the same as me?
When booting my MacBook Pro Retina Mid 2012 the load bar color changes from black to white. The color change happens as the keyboard background lights turn on. After this I get to the login screen with the blurred desktop background image (seems normal)
    Video: https://vid.me/hOX
    (sorry for the vertical video)
I know that the load bar is a feature of Yosemite, but not with the color changes.
I did a clean install of OS X Yosemite with the AppStore download and the Diskmaker X Tool.
    Thanks for answers...

    No
With a very advanced photo editor like PhotoShop and lots of skill you could do that
It is certainly not a simple operation if it is just a B&W image with no color information

  • Having problems doing an iCloud backup it keeps showing the estimated time thing but the blue load bar hasn't budged in over a half hour is there a way to correct this

Having problems doing an iCloud backup it keeps showing the estimated time thing but the blue load bar hasn't budged in over a half hour is there a way to correct this

You might try a forced shutdown to begin with, hold down the top and home buttons together until the device shuts down, then restart it.
First check that your device is correctly connected to the wifi/internet (settings > wifi)
If your back up continually fails, you might try turning off back up on your mobile device (settings > iCloud > storage & backup) and then deleting the backup file from iCloud by swiping the backup file on the mobile device (settings > iCloud > storage & backup > manage…) and then turning back up on again.
If this doesn't help, try turning off some items for back up in a pattern to try to establish if your problem is being caused by specific data on your device.
Being able to back up to the cloud can be very useful, especially if you don't have access to a computer or have infrequent access to one, however unless you specifically need to use iCloud for back up, you will find backing up to iTunes significantly more convenient and possibly more reliable.

    Hi cybertoof,
    Welcome to Apple Support Communities.
It sounds like you're seeing a startup issue with your Mac, it's booting to a gray screen with an Apple logo. Try the suggestions in the article linked below, they will resolve most issues related to starting up your Mac.

    Welcome to Apple Discussions Dathanb
You have posted in the Feedback About New Discussions forum.
As you are a first time poster, you seem to have missed the text at the top of this forum that says:
Please Read This Before Posting Here
If your question concerns a hardware or software technical issue, please do not post in this forum
Go to the main Apple Discussions page, select an appropriate product category and follow the links until you reach the correct forum for your post, then click the POST NEW TOPIC link. Because your post doesn't indicate was OS you are using on your iMac, I can't give you a link to the most appropriate forum.
Basically, though, the version of TechTool on the AppleCare disks is not compatible with newer versions of OS X and/or Macs (I can't remember which). If you don't get a satisfactory response by posting in the appropriate iMac or OS X forum, I suggest you take your iMac to the geniuses at the Apple Store. You can set up an appointment time for the same day online before you leave home.

  • Apple logo and loading bar at start up. Problem or not?

I recently updated to Yosemite. When I turn on my mac, I see an Apple logo with a loading bar under it. Like the ones you see when it's updating. Then it leads you to the log in page. Is this the normal start-up for the macbook pro model that I have? Or is this something I should get checked? [Macbook Pro 13inch mid-2012]

Its normal to Yosemite (Replaces the dotted wheel)
Some macs will get a grey screen with a loading bar
Some macs will also get a black screen with a loading bar.
    Depends on your model.
It was discussed in Mac Rumours by the Beta testers etc
The Boot screen can change from black k to white also if file fault is enabled.
