Problems with paying PayPal

I've been using PayPal as my default account for payment to iTunes for quite awhile now, but for some reason it has quit working. There are no problems with the PayPal account itself, and iTunes will allow me to use a credit card, but when I try to switch it back to PayPal, it rejects it all the way at the end of the process, after PayPal say's a new Payment Agreement has been created. Anyone else out there having this problem?

It looks like the failures was due to invalid city, state and zip code combination.
PayPal is kind of paranoid on the city/state/zip combination for the shipping address when it tries to finalize the transaction. Their rule is not flexible enough to tolerate spelling differences. They require no abbreviation in city names and using 2-character code for states. It appears some of your customers used HAWAII instead of HI for shipping address, and PayPal rejected that during transaction finalization.
In particular, here is an sample of correct city/state/zip combination:
PRINCEVILLE HI 96722
Please ask your customer to try "HI" instead of HAWAII during checkout and let me know if that works for them.

  • Problem with pay a bill by MyMeteor

    I log in into MyMeteor, click "Pay now", fill all the informations and go with "Make secure payment...". Unfortunately, I see "Sorry, we have a problem with processing your card". It happens with both Visa Debit cards I use everyday, on both accounts there is enough money to pay and they are both working without problems. I don't want to set up direct debit.  Is it a temporary problem with card payments, or I have to visit Meteor branch every month to pay a bill?

    Some month ago i talked to the Toshiba ASP about the Journey touch app availability and he said to me that some of the Journey apps will not work because the Journey touch isnt supported anymore I guess the radio app does not work anymore because the server has been shut down and therefore the app cannot find any radio station.
    What to say journey touch is an old device with outdated system which is Windows CE. There are no many apps for this OS and I would not expect that Windows CE apps would be released in the future.

  • Problem with the Paypal Checkout.

    My customers are having a hard time checking out. Around half of the form responses are coming back either blank or "cancelled" instead of "completed." I am getting emails from people saying they had to try multiple times entering in the information and checking out before they received a confirmation that payment went through.

    If you see a response with payment status "cancelled", it means the form filler voluntarily cancelled the transaction in the middle of the payment. If the payment status is blank, it could be 2 possible reasons: one if that the form filler close its browser without explictly cancelling the transaction, another case is that some error happens during the payment.

    Based on the server logs I can find in our system, so far I have found 83 incidents where form fillers started their payment transactions (some of them might be from the same people). Among those, 50 transactions were successfully paid, 11 transactions were voluntarily cancelled, and there was only one transaction failed to start due to PayPal server error.
    As you can see, there were 21 transactions that were started but we never received any status update. This is because when the transaction started, the filler will be on PayPal's website. We won't hear from them until they finish or cancel their payments. If they encounter any error in PayPal's site, or they simply close the browser in the middle of the transaction, our server won't be able to know that. Those 21 transactions will leave the blank payment status in your response table.
    For those 21 transaction with unknown status, we really cannot do anything about them since we don't have any information for them. If it is possible, please ask your form fillers to take a screen shot when they encounter any error. We can at least try to find some clue from the error message on the screen.

    If you installed the Lightroom 5 trial version, downloaded directly from Adobe, you will have to uninstall that version. Then Lightroom can be installed from the cloud manager application. I believe you have to reboot your computer before you can install.

  • Problems with Itunes store and Paypal account.

    Hi - Recently I was purchasing an app from the store and it said there was a problem with my Paypal account. I use that account all the time and it was in good standing and nothing changed with the password etc.
    So I went to the Itunes account, edited the paypal account information as I noticed that it was showing my email address and not my paypal address. After finishing the process successfully it still shows my email address and not my paypal address (they are different). What gives? How do I fix this???

    Try changing your country selection in the iTunes Store page within iTunes to the one you are using now - seems resetting the country back to itself can help. Did for me.

    Still have a problem with paying bill/dd's. As my next bill is due by the end of the week (23/9/11) I will be billed for the whole amount. Due to current circumstances I need to be able to have a monthly budget. This is something I tried to do but without going over old ground this is currently not working. As setting up a DD requires payment of outstanding amounts I am looking for now is options which BT can offer to be able to pay my bill in regular monthly payments. I also have been charged for late payments which is not helping the issue. Could you please clarify what options are available for me to do this? I believe that I have shown 'goodwill' on my behalf to make payments but to stop this from remianing an ongoing problem I would like to resolve this ASAP. Thanks.

  • PayPal Problem with iTunes?

    Somebody talked me into getting a PayPal account. I have money in the account, along with a valid U.S. credit card. When I try to set up my iTunes account for PayPal, I get an error saying that I need a domestic funding source. The word I got from PayPal is that they are having a problem with their connection to iTunes. Just wanted to confirm, is any other PayPal users having the same issue?

    If you have PP be warned that you have no protections as with a credit card. They are not a bank and don't have to follow the same rules as banks do. You have no recourse but to allow them to be judge and jury if you have a problem.
    I had PP in the past and they froze my account for 6 months for no reason. $300 worth. I did get my $$ back but after 6 months and we no longer do business.
    Check at www.paypalsucks.com for more horror stories. PP is a difficult company to do business. If you have other methods for paying then consider those options first.

    I have been a loyal customer for years and have a hot spot because internet options are very limited in our rural area.  I have stayed with 10G since the beginning.  Most months I don't use the 10G.  Verizon has no problem with me paying for Data I don't use.  This month my daughter comes home from College and she accidentally uses 24G.....14 over get blind sided with $140.00 in overages.  I called Verizon today......stopped in to the store today......My neighbor told me they waved charges for her one time.  Lots of charges.....But I'm am getting no help.  Not even an offer of a payment plan to help me out.  I went back just 6 months and I have over paid for 19G.....Seems like they would like to help out their loyal customers!!!!     Does anybody have any suggestions on how to deal with them?   We are not wealthy....or I would just pay this and walk away......

    There is a big misconception in what customers believe a cell carrier is obligated to do.
    You pay a set price to use up to that amount of xx data. It makes no difference if you use it to the paid limit or way under. Its like peace of mind when you don't have to worry about a data counter.
    Your daughter used the data, your plan is quite clear of what overage charges are. Why should or would Verizon wireless just forgive the charges because you are a customer? Your daughter used the data, get the money from her. That is the responsible thing to do.
    There is no "I have been a loyal customer so please remove the $120, or $250, or $2,000.00 since I did not mean to use it"
    Your electric company, or gas company or any other company does not remove valid charges. Why should Verizon wireless?
    Just pay the invoice and don't think you are being mistreated because Verizon is a business and not a charity.
