    We need your help. We are in SRM 7. We have to create a WF for SC. The approver of the item depend of the account assignment category (AAC). For example, we have a SC with 2 items. The first item has the AAC "Cost center" and the second has the AAC "Asset". In this case, the item 1 has to be approved by approver 1 and the item 2 has to be approved by approver 2.

    Define Agents
    Use
    This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the SAP Supplier Relationship Management (SAP SRM) Workflow component (SRM_EBP_WFL).
    You can use this Business Add-In to assign SAP SRM purchasing documents (or separate parts of these documents) to agent groups for approval.
    1. Use method /SAPSRM/IF_EX_WF_RESP_RESOLVER~GET_AREA_TO_ITEM_MAP to assign the document items to a specific agent group. This assignment can be made by specifying the area of activity of that group. The area can be a technical key identifying the group itself or can also identify a master data range (for example, a cost centre range or an organizational branch) for which the agent group is responsible. When you return an initial item ID and specify a single area, you indicate that all document items should be assigned to a single agent group for approval.

  • Satellite L300-11G XP (Home Poland): Hibernation is not working

    Hi,
    I Bought my computer without OS, I installed XP and drivers (but I couldnt find any info about proper sequence of installing drivers - is there any?)
    All is working without hibernation.
    Power saver dosnt see this function
    Turning off power saver and turning this option in XP on (it is in the window with screensavers - I dont know proper name) results an error and info than another process is using hibernation
    Are there any drivers missing?

    To save the time of the readers I should write that all drivers are up to date I have just bought the computer and I installed all from Toshiba support pages
    Btv I dont use SATA drivers - I turned sata off in computer setup (I dont know if it is important)

  • Exporting audio meta data for Speech Analysis.

    Working on a video project that has about 4hrs of recorded audio. Using Premiere Pro CS6/Media Encoder's Speech Analysis I processed all of these audio tracks which added the "Analysis Text" to their metadata.
    I need to provide all of this text to my copywriter so he can construct a copy deck, which will be used for other media.
    Does anyone have an efficient way to (batch) export all of the metadata for each clip, even more specifically, just this particular property (as he won't be interested in the other standard metadata)? I would want to dump it into a large .doc along with the relevant file name.
    I'll then provide him with mp3s of the audio so he can listen and proof the copy – as I imagine there will need to be quite a few corrections made.
    If there isn't a magic-bullet solution, I would of course need to find the next best option, e.g. export as mp3s, and see if I can embed all that metadata in them. Then provide him with some way to view that content while he plays the files back. Keeping in mind I'm not working with tech-savy individuals on that side of the procesess. I would have loved to have them just open Prelude and be done with it.

    Surely I can't be the first person who wanted to externalize all that content.

  • Which Macbook Pro for Video Editing

    I'd like to buy a macbook pro for video editing on the go and with all the available features, I can't tell which is best.
    I use final cut pro 7 and all footage is HD.
    RAM?
    7200rpm vs. 5400 ?
    DUAL CORE vs. QUAD
    INTEL GRAPHICS?
    RETINA?
    It's all very confusing, especially since I haven't looked into buying another mac since I purchased an iMac in '07 (which still rocks).

    - Get either a 7200 or SSD internal drive
    *You'll need an external hard drive that runs at least 7200rpm for your media (scratch disk)
    - If you can affor it, go with a Quad Core
    - For graphics, I believe all the new MacBook Pros come with Intel HD Graphics 4000
    - As for CPU speed and RAM, they really go hand in hand with video editing.
    - CPU speed doesn't help if you do not have sufficient RAM cover all of needed video/audio/effect editing and rendering processes.
    - Slower CPU with more RAM means that procesess get covered by the additonal RAM, but will take longer to render and preview during editing.
    *So when choosing CPU and RAM, do not sacrifice one for the other.
    You can always upgrade RAM later if you can't afford it now.
    - Retina? Doesn't make much of a difference for you. You're not editing 4k video so chose what you like better, or   can afford.

  • MY BAD EXPERIENCE WITH CHAT AND VISION

    In my personal e-mail I received publicity inviting me to purchase a Skype credit gift card. I thought it was a nice offer and I happened to have a friend that had the need and could use such a gift. I procedeed to purchase a $10 dollar gift card, I did the transaction from Colombia and sent it to my friend in the US. Shortly after the purchase I received a message warning me that my order was being under security scrutiny. I found it unexpected and unjustified (Is my $10 dollar order a security risk of some sort?), but I thought that maybe it was because it was an international order, and I understand the need for security in online transactions, so I decided to not worry, trusting in the spotless service that I have had from Skype up to that point. At that moment I noticed that the one providing the service was no Skype but Chat And Vision (whose website, by the way, looks far less friendly than Skype's).
    Then I received an Email telling me that the order has been rejected. No justification, no explanation. Just a politely worded but most unhelpful and uninformative e-mail.  It made a point of telling me that they didn't retain the payment, yet my card was charged and no refund has been made so far. I replied the e-mail asking for a reason, and how to get a refund. I received the automated reply telling me that somebody would contact me the next day. It's been a day and no reply so far.
    Searching online I found mine was only one in a long list of blunders and poor service from Chat And Vision. The complains on forums and online outnumber the claims of good service. Mine is a very small case compared to other complains I have read about. It was a small purchase for a smal amount, but it turned into an unexpectedly unpleasant experience for something that should have been a simple purchase ( Am I really such a security risk that I can't be allowed to place an order for a gift card?)
    In the end I feel that I was snared into a trap with that offer. I trusted, I paid, didn't receive the goods, haven't yet received the refund, my friend really needed that gift and had to do without, which caused him inconvenience, my high regard from Skype has been tarnished, and I'll hesitate to make new purchases of Skype services in the future, if they keep being powered by Chat And Vision.

    Some updates: I received two e-mails from Chat And Vision, regarding my two questions as to why my order was rejected and how to get my money back. These are the answers:
    The first one (Ticket ID: PBF-650-80186), says: "Thank you for your email. Firstly, apologies for the inconvenience this may have caused to you. Unfortunately, due to security reasons I am unable to divulge this information. However, should you wish to make another purchase with us again, we will try to process your new order instead".
    Polite but uninformative. Notice that beyond an unfocused general apology it does not acknowledge any problem nor does pledge any improvement, just a vague statement that they may allow me to use it's service again if I choose to try (not exactly reasuring).
    A second answer to a second e-mail says: (Ticket ID: SVN-701-71147) "Thank you for your email, please be assured the money will be refunded back to you."
    That's all. Again polite but no useful information, just a vague assurance of refund, somehow, someday into the indefinite future. If it happens I'll post it here but I'm not holding my breath.
    Reading other answers from Chat and Vision posted online here and on other forums dealing with their service, there appears to be a pattern of politeness, vageness, refusal to acknowledge problems and absence of a pledge to improve. Their costumer care seems designed to placate the user without promising to get better, and is so devoid of helpul attitude that it makes me believe that their messages are redacted by a software program, and consumer complains never reach any administrative person. I might be wrong but the doubt has been sown which is a shame. Up until now I was very vocal on my praise for skype, recomending it to family and friends as a very useful and good service, but this experience with Chat and Vision, and my discovery of their costumer service history online, has set me thinking about looking for alternatives to Skype, and certainly has dissuaded me to recomend Skype to anyone ever again,or at least while their sales are still managed by Chat And Vision, or at least while Chat and Vision continues its customer service attitude, polite on the surface but haughty and unhelpful underneath.
    If there are new updates I might post them here, but for now I will not pursue the matter further since the amount involved was small and I see no point in sending more e-mails to Chat and Vision. I just feel bitter that the great service that I felt was Skype has ben tarnished by this experience. Just some final thoughts: 
    I do not complain that my order was scrutinized by security reasons, I understand the risk of illegal activity on online transactions, and the need of online companies to be careful, but the process Chat and Vision used seemed overly unconcerned for the confort of the consumer. It took around a full day for my order to be scrutinized and then rejected, which did let me for a long time in the dark not knowing if my gift would reach the friend I wanted to give it to. This is 2014, does Chat and Vision not have the tecnology to do a better and faster process? Do they scrutinize online orders by hand? I have read more cases similar to mine here on this forum, which to me implies that Chat and Vision are overly and unnecessary zealous on their security procesess. ( Also it is jarring that they seem to consider their clients to be criminals, for no reason at all and with no opportunity to contest the charge.)
    If they are going to reject a transaction on security reasons, why not do it before the payment is processed, not after, which can be stressful to the consumer that gave the money and didn't receive what was advertised, for no real reason. Seems to me there is a mistake in the way the system is set, or there is a clear disdain of what the client might think or feel.
    I think that's all. Thank you if you went all the way thru this overly long rant. If you are a consummer beware that when you buy services from Skype, you are not buying from Skype but from somebody else and that somebody else does not have a spotless record. If you are an administrative person from Skype or Chat and vision, I hope you eventually prove me wrong about your unconcern for the welfare of the consumer. My experience so far is not encouraging but that may change.

  • HCM ESS Leave request : Intimation mail or Approval mail is not going

    Dear Experts,
    We have an Ep 7.0 system with ECC 6.0  is connected at backend. Currently we have a requirement : whenever an employee will request for a leave from ESS(EP 7.0) the approver should get an intimation mail and similarly when the request is apporved or rejected the requestor should get a mail about this.
    Now we have already a customize workflow for this leave request process. We have checked and scheduled background work procesess for the following reports
    1. RPTARQEMAIL
    2. RPTARQPOST
    3. RSWWTHEX
    4. RSWWERRE
    5. RSWWCLEAR
    6. RSWWCOND
    Please note that an approval mail is being sent to the applicant after approval of his leave. We need to make the following adjustments:
    1. The body of the approval mail that is being sent now needs to be changed and must include details of the leave request. How to do this?
    2. No intimation mail is being sent to approver after a leave request has been raised. As per RPTARQEMAIL approver should also get notified about the leave request.
    3. Apart from RPTARQEMAIL if we use the work item "SEND MAIL" in the workflow to implement this, we are getting the approval mail and notification mail in the inbox of our business workspace(SBWP). However the mail is not being redirected to the mail id maintained i.e in outlook inbox.

    My sincere advise is to do some thing like this,
    1. First take a copy of the standard leave workflow template WS12300111
    2.Create a ZBOR (in SWO1 txn) in which you define a method which handles mail sending process by using the standard SAP FM SO_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1
    3. Create a Text element in SO10 transaction.After this as I said you will creating a ZBOR-method in that itself you determine the agents and email addresses before calling the FM 
        SO_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1.
    4. To get the lines of the mail content (from SO10) you hvae to use the FM READ_TEXT
    if the above is done then fixing your issues is a simple thing
    Q1. You need to change the content of the mail type.
    A1. You can chage the mail content in the TExt element.
    Q2.No intimation mail is being sent to approver after a leave request has been raised?
    A2. You hvae two options over here either you can make use of the tab notification of the decision step or by using the program RSWUWFML2 you can schedule a background job, for help see the Documentation of the rep.
    Q3.Mail Sedning to outlook
    A3. SCOT settings, SMTP---> Internet ---> addresses ---> maintain the address or by using the SWNCONFIG you can even aceheive this.

  • ISW on Solaris 10 stabilty issue

    Folks,
    I am testing iSW on Solaris 10 and am seeing an issue where after some days the box eventually looses network connectivity and becomes unresponsive and i am forced to do a hard power cycle to get it back up. I am suspecting that there is a Java issue that eventually eats up resources but not sure and have yet to dig into system logs. It is a clean build of Solaris with only a DS webserver and the iSW software running .
    Has anyone seen this with iSW on Solaris 10 ? Maybe a known bug ?
    I will likely open a Solaris case and or post to the OS forum BUT wanted to see if maybe this has been seen before ?

    Yes, thanks. I have gathered more info on the behavior and have determined that the Java processes that run ( pasted below ) for iSW are consuming resources eg free memory in this case. Over the course of several days, after starting iSW the free memory available is reduced in increments to the point that none (or almost nothing is left) and the OS becomes unresponsive and requires a re-boot This is clearly these five processes as it does not happen when they are stopped.
    I assume that this is a Java memory leak ? but am not too experienced in trbl shooting process specific resource usage but am hoping that this might be a Java tuning parameter that will improve/fix the problem ?

  • Oracle Database Gateway for MS SQL server

    we have Oracle Database Appliance.
    OS: Oracle Linux 5 x64
    DB: 11.2.0.3 enterprise (Oracle Database Gateway for MS SQL server at the same version)
    Communication with remote DB is OK, but CPU load is too high without any reason. CPU waste, useless HW load, energy waste.

    I am not sure of the disadvantages but heard that its a lenghty process (risky) to upgrade from R1 to R2.

    i am stuck at some of the points and have no clue to what i should do. Please, if you could find it out from someone already there they should know somthing.
    1. What do you do with flag indicators and different code attributes in your entity tables. I mean do you include them in your dimension.
    2. How do you handle dependent or weak entities when transferring from ERD to dimensional star schema. For example, My Account table has dependent (Aggreement, Suitability,Qualification, Name Address) with one to many relationship how do i handle them. Should i include these entities inside account dimension or directly to the fact.
    3. My dimensions are User, Account, Account activity, Time how do we identify which are slowly changing dimensions.
    Because when an account goes through steps there are changes made to it. After being saved it can again be put into the cycle again for more changes. i mean very frequent changes. Where do i put the start date and end date if indeed it is a Slowly changing Dimension.

    My 2 cents, I think Gopi is it about rigth on the OLTP side, but I have to disagreewith Gopi on some the data warehouse points.
    Data warehouse is generally a broader concept than just OLAP /multi-dimensional model, that would be regarded as just a component of most DWs.
    Data warehouses run SQL queries all the time.  I would bet the overwhelming majority of BW queries are SQL queries, even for querying OLAP cubes, although MDX is starting to be used more.  Operationally, SAP uses SQL to perform a lots of the procesess in BW - loading data, rollup, compress, etc.
    The majority of data warehouses are perhaps in the hundreds of GBs, although large enterprises can easiy have TBs of data.
    BW can incorporate real time data from R3 with remote cubes.
    BW has transactional InfoCubes where users enter data for budgeting, forecasting etc.
    You can google hese topics and finds lots of info on data warehouse design.

  • How can I test  a  Worflow process

    Hi, I am using the workflow builder to create my process diagram. The diagram design was succesfully validated. Then I tested
    the process using the web page wfa , I found the process, specified all requiered values and when I reviewed the Process List,
    I obtained an error. I do not how test my diagram. The diagram is very simple, only want to send a notification to one person
    for approval. How can I specify an specific mail address to send a message ?
    Please somebody help me (sorry for my English) !!!!

    Hi Krishnai, thank you very much for your help.
    I filled all data about the performer at Notification properties, I selected Item Attributes and selected ForwardToUserName as variable
    When I tested the process using the launch procesess Web Page I selected an username from the existing list
    (usernames of the data base). It works!. I could see the workflow process activities, and I also reviewed the notification list and the
    notification was sent.
    How can I specify an specific e-mail address to send the notification? ? Must the users to be defined as database users or
    can I send the messages to any user' adress?

  • Troubles with BRM Integration (Portal)

    Currently we are Integrating BRM 7.3 with Siebel 8.0 and other third parties with BPEL (SOA Suite 10.1.3.4), in many procesess BRM is the trigger of the message it means that BRM calls a WSDL of BPEL.
    BRM guys told me that anytime that BRM calls BPEL is through EAI Component and they have to configure a new EAI component per each integration with BPEL (only when BRM is the trigger). They also told me that EAI is a limited component that allows just few instances, it means that BRM can not be the trigger of more than 8 (more less) processes.
    In my perspective it sounds illogical, but i wanna ask if someone have experience in this kind of Integration..

    You may specify the module the user have to authenticate with adding in the url parameters module=LDAP for instance.
    Another solution is to specify an authentication level in your authentication module like 0 for anonymous and 1 for LDAP or any other module you are using. Then in the login url, you add the parameter autlevel=1 (require to authenticate against a module for which the level is at least 1).
