Process in restarting a FRP-run: how to prevent incorrect analytics data

Hi,
Today we encountered an issue where stock-data where not transfered to F&R. As a result OrderProposals generated during FRP-run were based on incorrect stock stock-values. As a result also the OrderProposals resulting from the FRP-run were considered incorrect and have been deleted by the business.
After stocks were processed correctly to F&R, a new FRP-run was done for the first 4 sequences in /FRE/FRP_MID_BASIC. (Note that we have these first 4 steps executed in the time critical window, and the Analytics step as a separate job directly afterwards).
Result is ofcourse new, correct, OrderPropsals but also a second run of the Analytics step on the same planning-day. As a result, in table /FRE/ANA_WEEKLY the STOCK_COUNTER is increased 2 times during one planning-day, which will cause incorrect data at the end of the week regarding average weekly-stock level.
It appears, every time the Analytics-step in /FRE/FRP_MID_BASIC is executed on a day, the STOCK_COUNTER field is updated. (this can be reproduced). The result will be incorrect Analytics data if that happens, but on the other hand: not executing the Analytics step a second time during the planning-day will also result in incorrect Analytics data as in that case it would in my situation have contained the stock-data from yesterday(as the initial issue was that current actual stock-data was not sent to F&R)
Is this a bug in F&R, or am I missing something? If there is a guide on what steps to execute under what conditions if FRP-run has to be executed again, or how to correct any (incorrect)Analytics data built up during previous runs?

a reply/answer would be appreciated....

  • How to prevent Pivot Table Data Source from being changed automatically?

I have an excel file that contains a Pivot Table that references a table within the workbook (Data Source = "MyTable").  When I save the file and copy it, the copy contains a reference to the original file.  Instead of displaying, "MyTable",
it shows  "OldFilename!MyTable" where OldFilename is the name of the original file, not the current file.
How do I prevent this from occurring.  It is only doing this on my current machine, if I perform these steps on a different machine, the problem does not occur and the Data Source property stays the same as it should.
What setting(s) do I change to fix this problem?
Thank you in advance for your help!

  • How to correct incorrect entry date?

    Hi,
    The scenario is as follows:-
    Employees are hired from 01.01.2000
Payroll has run till last month(28.02.2007)
Now, few employees hire date has to be back-dated (01.01.1998)
The following should not happen in the event of the date getting changed.
    Should not delete clusters
Payroll should not trigger retro, even if it triggers it has to be controlled
Infotypes 7 and 8 need not be changed, means date can be 01.01.2000
    What i did:-
    Changed the payroll status
    Applied PA41
This is the suggestion offered by library in the event of correcting entry after having run payroll. But, it doesn't work, moreover action types incorrect entry and correct date are not available and library mentions that the action types are not available as it will be used in exceptional circumstances. It allows to change the entry date if i delete the clusters.
Mailing to the forum after having tried several times!
    Appreciate the inputs.
    Regards
    KK

    Hello Manoj,
I deleted the "accounted  to" and deleted ERA as well.
But when i try to correct the action date, it doesn't allow me to change the date to 01.01.1998. Hope you'd have read my thread precisely!
When i try to correct actions, the action types "incorrect entry" and "correct entries" are missing. Unless, i delete the clusters, it doesn't allow me to change the entry date.
    More inputs!

  • How to prevent incorrect approval of a trip

    Hi
We have the situation where 2 approvers approve a trip in a workflow.  If approver 2 forwards his WI to a person who is really approver 1, approver 1 can approve 2nd time as well.  I suspect the problem is that they have the same authorization for trip.  Could anyone tell med if there is a status or something for trip that decides that a person is allowed to do first approval but not second approval?
    Any hints appreciated
    Kirsten

    Hi Kirsten,
Obviously when dual approval system takes place the both approvals should have the same authorization profiles, why because if one approval is not available(on leave) then second approval can approve the work item. Infect that is purpose to make dual approval system. But your case it is diffrent because your business process is to approve the same WI by two approvals if this is the case i think you need to keep some authorization check to not to allow the any approval to approve twice for the same  work item. Please correct me if my understanding is wrong.
    I think it might help,
    Thanks,
    Dora.

  • How to prevent the User from loading more than one seq file?

    Hello mhousel,
Testexec.exe by default loads the sequence files that were last open when it runs.  It is often desired behavior to have multiple sequence files load automatically.
[Mark Housel] Maybe for some but certainly not for me.
This should be easily handled by TestStand without any problems.  What do you mean by "chaos ensues"?
Certainly Teststand doesn't care a bit how many sequences are open.  But, when my sequences open they initialize HW of the ATE associated with
that sequence file during the sequenceFileLoad callback.  e.g. I allocate TELNET handles to a terminal
server that connects to multiple console within the system and als for
    the UUT.
If a second sequence opens it knows nothing about the other sequence and again tries to open a TELENT session to the same port of the
terminal server and obviously fails, so my sequence reports that it
can't properly initialize the ATE HW.  Bad juju!
Are your sequence files set to run automatically when they are loaded?
I guess so.  Other than the trick of logging in as the special noExecution user and having special code in my sequence and modified Process Model I have no idea how to prevent a sequence fronm "runnin" when opened.
If you want to prevent Testexec.exe from loading multiple files, you should be able to close out one of the open files when it loads and that sequence file should not load in the future.  I hope that helps.
The trick I read somewhere else of modifying the Testexec.uir file to never re-load a sequence file automatically seemes to have covered up solved the problem.
    Thanks,
    Mark

  • How do I open Winmail.dat?

    How do I open Winmail.dat?

    ajlayne wrote:
In Outlook, I changed the setting for how the mail sent to each typoe to resolve the issue. I created one email per setting and addressed to both people on their corporate exchange account (same server for both) and their gmail accounts. This is where the confusion arose since one phone receives fine and the other doesn't. I used Gmail as an alternate mail client with the same result.
So basically I used two different clients each time sending to four addresses two are located on each phone. Phone A always receives a winmail.dat file no matter which client or email address is used. Phone B always receives the attachment in it's correct format.
I took it a step further and used the phones to test sending. Even if I use Phone A to send to the other account on Phone A, winmail.dat is received. If done from Phone B to Phone A, Phone A winmail.dat persists. Phone A to Phone B correct format is received. I'm thinking there is a setting somewhere on Phone A I'm not aware of that was somehow changed since it is not mail client dependant nor recipient mail server dependant based on the testing results.
This is a Microsoft Windows setting with Microsoft Outlook or within the Exchange Server gateway in general.   These winmail.dat files have been arriving on Linux, BSD, OS X, Tru64 Unix, ULTRIX, Solaris and many other servers for many years, too — unfortunately, everybody that's using non-Microsoft clients and tools encounters these files from time to time.  The winmail.dat is a Windows Mail data file, after all.
If the mail client or if the mail server gateway sends a mail message to an iOS device — or many other "foreign" mail clients — that involves a winmail.dat file generated by the sending client or generated by the originating mail server gateway, then iOS will show the winmail.dat file.  Like many other mail clients, the iOS mail client does not decode, process nor create these winmail.dat files.  (Most clients simply treat these winmail.dat files as an arbitrary attachment on the message.)
Send the same messages to the same email addresses and read those messages via another mail client — one that doesn't have winmail.dat support — and you'll see the exact same behavior; a wad of attached winmail.dat data.
From Microsoft: How to Prevent the Winmail.dat File from Being Sent to Internet Users.  In short, either the Outlook client settings or the Exchange Server (IMC) settings will need to be changed here.

Why did you delete your profile? Also how? Did you use the profile manager or did you delete from the windows file structure?
It sounds like something during the profile delete has stopped Firefox from starting up. Please see the this article and follow the steps:

  • Why does firefox stop loading then when i close it and try to open it up again I keep getting this message:Firefox is already running, but is not responding. To open a new window, you must first close the existing Firefox process, or restart your system

Firefox will just stop loading/ connecting to the internet. The gray circle will just continually move but it never turns green to load the pages. I know it's not my internet because my internet explorer works just fine while this is happening to firefox. So I close firefox and then try to re open it but I get the message: Firefox is already running, but is not responding. To open a new window, you must first close the existing Firefox process, or restart your system. So I wait a little bit then try and re open it and still get the same message. I then go into my windows task manager and try and end the firefox proccess but it won't end. So I restart my computer and firefox eventually starts acting up again.
