Product information not valid - HP 630

Hi to all,
Aftare the change of the mainboard of a HP 630 I receive this message at startup:
product information not valid
system board - product name
system board - product configuration
system board - product number
I try to use this solution (follow link) but when I launch HPBQ138.EXE I receive this message:
"This utility can NOT be execute on this platform, please check other version utility again"

I understand you need assistance after replacing the motherboard on your HP 630 Notebook. I am sorry, but to get your issue more exposure, I would suggest posting it in the commercial forums, since this is a commercial product.     I have seen this issue before and as I remember you will have to contact your local HP Customer Service and ask for a field technician. The tech has some utility for that. I also suggest to search this forum for more information as well. Use the search tray and the message as the search term..

  • Product information not valid?

    I just bought a new dv6-3050us laptop. Then i found " product information not valid". It seems my serial number now is 1234567890....which is totally wrong one.
    I have already upgraded my BIOS to the latest one, still doesn't work.
    Another result is that my Windows 7 can not be supported, because the serial and product number is wrong i think.
    Can some body help me?

    I have spent many hours reading suggestions from all over the internet and your site.
    I have the same problem as with many people. After HP automatic update occured my system bios information was wiped from my computer. This causes the stupid "product information not valid" to show up.
    I have gone through many of the recomended techniques of downloading files to boot from a USB or DVD and then edit the DMI data with the HP DMI tool.
    Unfortunalty after literally hours of doing this search and evaluation the only software I can get is a 32 bit and not 64 bit.
    I am an expert user and pay for all my software and have about $600 dollars of software from microsoft that is now said to be unauthorized.
    I want this fixed. my computer is now 15 months old and I am out of warranty.

    The only fix for this is to have the bios chip reprogrammed with this missing information by HP or an authorized service centre.

    My phone initially had Global Firmware but after flashing i think now it has Indian firmware.
    Now when i am trying to download the firmware, it shows 
    "Product ID not valid. Please re-enter the 15-digit IMEI code."

    double check IMEI code from Menu -> Settings -> About
    and also from label under battery, if there are / printed then don't enter those to the download page.
    IMEI code is the 15 digit code and usually starts 35
    last digit is a checksum, so if you enter an incorrect number then website will know.

    I purchased CRXI a few months ago, but waited till I had my new hard drive in place before.
    At the "user information dialog I entered the only product key code I could find in the case, attached to the third CD pocket in the case.
    Result:   "Product key code XXXXX-XXXXXXX-XXXXXX-XXXX is not valid or has expired."
    However I can see now that it is the activation code for "Cyrstal Reports Server XI R2"
    There are stickers in the case with a shorter code "14-5XXX8-0XXXXE"  I had also tried this code, but the error is the same.
    I hope I don't need an ealier vesrion of CR in place.  I hace CR9, however it is not here with me at this time.
    Any ideas

    I think you still have to install a profile on the device with that type of license... no?

  • Product is not valid for Sales org and distribution chain

    When i am saving the trade promotions , i am getting error message
    "Product XXXX is not valid for distribution chain XXXX, XXXX"
    I have maintained sales organization and distribution channel in commpr01 under sales and distribution tab.

    the error is raised from the trade promotion CCA check - raised from method CL_CRM_MKTGS_PD_CCA_CHECK_HDLR~CHECK. There are the following checks performed:
    * There are several checks to do based on the distribtion chain
    * Execute the checks and identify which products fail which check
    1. *   Determine if the product passes the distribution chain check
    2. *   Determine if the product category 1 of the product assignment
       *   passes the product category check
    3. *   Determine if the product category 2 of the product assignment
       *   passes the product category check
    4. *   Determine if the product group of the product assignment
       *   passes the product group check
    5. *   Determine if the sales status of the product is set to blocked
    You may also need to check the sales and distribution data of the product category or product group of the mentioned product, if this is assigned to any.

    We're programming an interface in SAP R/3 to MDM catalog through 'MDM ABAP API's'. Automatically, it creates an RFC connection to MMD, but we're getting the following connection errorwhen executing the API:
    E MDM_ABAP_API         078 Language information ENG US USA not valid for MDM repository XXXYYYZZZ*.
    *where XXXYYYZZZ is the repository name. 
    W'e've established the connection in R/3 through transaction MDMAPIC and we've created the same user in R/3 and MDM Console.
    This is the code written on the program where we are defining the language (ENG), country (US) and region (USA).
    *maintain logon language information
    ls_repository_language-language = 'ENG'.
    ls_repository_language-country = 'US'.
    **no region information needed here
    ls_repository_language-region = 'USA'.
    How can I see the repository language definition?
    Which are the correct codes to be used for language 'English', Country 'United States' and Region 'USA'?  And for other countries, like spanish language, country Spain and Region ¿spain?
    In fact, we copied this code from website:

    Maybe the problem is that any RFC configuration is missing, and it has to be done in transaction SM59?

    The problem is now solved.
    The correct languague information codes for Language Spanish, Country Spain and Region, are as follows:
    Language: 'spa'
    Country: 'ES'
    Region: '___'
    It is important to respect the CAPS, otherwise it doesn't work.

  • Project 2010 Product Key Not validating

    Used the trial version of 2010, bought a 'used' license from Amazon reseller, but product key will not validate.  Any ideas about cause??  Perhaps Trial Version is still causing issues with new key???  (Windows 7, 64bit)

    I just created a book by Aperture and was filling the form to buy the book.
    While at the Bill information step, it always tells that my city/state/zip information is not right - but I can't find what's wrong. I want to send to Santa Cruz de Tenerife in Spain with Postal Code 38006. I Knew that there were other place sharing the same postal code, but I have filled the city. What can I do to the disgusting form so that I can buy the book, need your help!

    Have you tried to put "Islas canaries" (or Canary Islands) into the "Province" field? And "Santa Cruz de Tenerife" into the "City" field?

  • DV-3060us - Getting "Product informatio​n not valid" error message

    Had to have the Graphics chip replaced yesterday. I'm out of the country at the moment, and I guess the tech here does not know how to reprogram system/product info onto the board after changing the chip, and I can't explain it due to the language barrier. What can I do? Here's the entire message that comes up at startup:
    "Product information not valid
    the following product information programmed into the system board is missing or invalid
    System Board (00A)- Product Name
    Product configuration
    Product serial number
    product number
    Enter to continue Startup

    I have gone to the HP site as directed, and it says this: "You may see this message after you send your computer in for service. It indicates that a technician replaced the system board or component but failed to input the new serial number in the system.
    To resolve this issue, contact HP for further assistance. You will be asked to provide the fourteen digit System Board Commodity Tracking Number (CT) that is included in the error message."
    There is *NO* tracking number being displayed where it should be, and I have no idea what to do. But I need to try to resolve this ASAP, as I need to reload drivers for the CD/DVD player in order to do a presentation and it won't let me do anything.
    Please HELP! Thanks for your assistance! I'm waiting to hear something! :-)

    I have attached  a keyboard and tried F11  = Recovery,  the blue windows pane appears, there is a circle that keeps spinning ....but after 2 hours nothing happens. 
    I have tried F1 - System Information  
                           F2 - System Diagnostics,  F9 Boot Otions   nothing happens . 
    Warranty expired March 2014
    I got into the System Diagnostics and the only thing that is not reporting is:  System Information.
    How do I edit this with this so the correct information is displayed?
    Why is this stopping Windows from loading? 
    Does this mean the internal MB is shot/doa  and i need to replace it?  All suggestions are appreciated. thanks,

    You cannot use a Mac serial on Windows. Changing platform can be an expensive task. However, since CS6 is still current Adobe MIGHT convert the license for you if you contact them.
