Profit center line items KE5Z - order missing - GLPCA-AUFNR

Hi folks,
could anybody give me an advice how to arrange that the order will be displayed in the KE5Z report?
Field GLPCA-AUFNR
Thanks a lot.
Regards

Sorry for unclear set question.
I know how to edit a layout.
The problem is, that the field GLPCA-AUFNR is initial, therefore in KE5Z-Profit center line items the field order is empty.
Is there any customizing setting or SAP-Note, which ensures that the field GLPCA-AUFNR is filled?
Thanks

A sales order is created with reference to a service order, now when I see Profit center line items, the function area available in Service order is differ from the function area displaying with sales document number in profit center line item report. Can anyone please tell me where could be the problem.

    Hi,
what SAP release do you have ?
Normally the derivation of the functional area is made with the following logic:
    1) manually entered
    2) FI-Substitution (calling point 5 or 6 since ERP2004)
    3) cost center
    4) cost element
Please see also SAP note 106180 of how to correct wrong functional areas in PCA.
    Best regards,
    Andreas

  • Reposting Profit Center Line Items

    Good day everybody,
I would just like to ask if there really is no standard transaction to repost profit center line items (unlike for cost center line item reposting - KB6) Or is there any workaround for this lacking functionality? Thanks!

    Hi
There is no specific reposting transaction for PCA documents. The alternative is to post a PCA a document via 9KE0.
    E.g. Requirement : repost $100 from PC 100000 to 200000
    Post a PCA document
    PC          Account  In Pct currency
    100000   310101     - 100
    200000   310101       100
    Hope this is clear

  • Profit Center Line Items from Retrospective Effective.

    Dear All,
We implemented the Co Module with profit Center Accounting in the month of April 2007.
But we forget to Activate Direct postings, Because of that Actual line items  has not appeared in the T-code KE5Z.
What i have to do to get the Actual Line items in the KE5Z from the postings made from April month.
    Thanks for your immediate Response.
    Best Regards.

This tool could be used, if you activate FI first and later at some point go for PCA. That time you can retrospectively.
This function lets you post data from Financial Accounting to Profit Center Accounting. All the documents found for the selection criteria are displayed in a list. By double-clicking you can look at the corresponding FI document to check whether the desired documents were selected.
    Requirements
    1. Profit Center Accounting must be active.
    2. The control parameters for actual data must be maintained. In particular, the parameter "Line items" must already be set if desired. Additional prerequisites for the data transfer are described in the section Data Transfer.

  • Profit center line item Display

    Dear SAP Guru,
When i post advance payment to vendor ,  in this case in g/l line item advance payment g/l show the Profit center , but when i check in t.code : KE5Z ( Profit center actual line item )  thr. advance payment g/l a/c does not diaply as i postees profit center .
    need solution urgently ..
    Regards ,
    Milind

    Hi Milind,
Posting to profit center, by default,  is a statistical posting that go to profit center via assignment to CO objects or Master Data. Please check, whether your profit center already assign to one of CO objects such as Cost center. Or you can also the the assignment profit centers via 1KE4 - Assignment Monitor.
If you already  assigned the profit center to CO objects and still  not shown in line item display, it can be caused be several reasons:
    1. Check the field status of your GL account ( the advance payment) via FS00 on tab "Create/Bank/Interest". Double click the "field status group" then on "display field status group overview" select the "additional account assignment", then check on profit center, is it as "optional entry" or "Suppress". If suppress, maybe that cause of your problem. on the other side, it set to "optional entry" you need to check the field status of you posting key.
    2. Posting key GL account Dr is 40. then go to customizing:
Financial Accounting>Financial Accounting Global Settings>Document>Line Item>Controls-->Define Posting Keys
Execute the define posting key, then go to PK 40. Double click the PK40, then on the top side click "Maintain Field status". Then select the "additional account assignment", check the field status of profit center.
Hope this can resolve your problem. Please check it out

  • Profit center: Actual line items (KE5Z)

    Hello All,
When I try to Display the actual line items through KE5Z, the system is throwing the message as"Table contains data records with no profit center" (KM 138), when I checked in the table GLPCA there are two records available without profit center.
Later on enquire realised that these got posted through F.13 through WERE clearing, where there is no profit center entered.
Now can any please suggest me what needs to be done to view the records or enter the profit center.
    Thank you
    Sasi

    HI,
In GLPCA, is it with out profit center or with Dummy profit center. Bcz, GLPCA is the table for profit center.
If the values exist in Dummy, you can allocate it to required profit center.
Let us say, while creating the Accounting document, some values did not go to Profit center due to some reason. To do the posting to PCA from accouting docuemnt, we can use 1KE8 t code.

  • Profit Center derivation in Sales Order

    Dear Gurus
I have a requirement where profit center should be derived in sales order on the combination of customer country and plant.
In standard SAP it can be defaulted at plant level from material master.
How can this be defaulted on Customer country and shipping plant.
    Looking for experts opinion.
    Regards,
    Neeraj Srivastava

    Dear Neeraj,
It is possible to achieve this by using Profit Center Substitution in Sales Orders but as per your requirement Customer country is not available in Table fields but wherein Plant is available. Please find the below example process
The profit center is entered in the material master in the Sales: general/plant view.
When sales order is created the profit center in the material master will be populated in the sales order line item profit center field, which is present in the account assignment tab. This is the standard SAP behaviour.
To substitute the profit center, substitution rules have to be created. To define the substitution rules, use transaction 0KEM or the menu path IMG -> Enterprise Controlling -> Profit Center Accounting -> Assignments of Account Assignment Objects to Profit Centers -> Sales Order -> Sales Order Substitutions -> Define Substitution rules. Once in this transaction, click on Substitution icon to create a new substitution rule.
Enter the code say ZZ01 and description of the substitution rule and click on save.
Select the new substitution rule i.e. ZZ01 and click on the Step icon. System will give a pop up window in which the second option (profit center) has to be selected. Press enter or click on the green OK icon.
After pressing enter, another pop up box will be seen. Here, select the first option i.e. constant value and press enter.
You will be taken to the Step 001 - Overview screen. Enter the description for the Step and then click on Pre-requisites on the left side.
In the next screen, double click on EC-PCA: Substitution in Sales Order under List of Structures. In the next screen, select the item based on which the substitution has to be done. For eg: Division in item.
After you double click on Division in item, you will find the Division in item in the box above. After this click on "=" button which is next to the table fields. You will now find "=" next to Division in item in the box above.
Now click on constant button. System will give a pop up box in which enter the division number on which the substitution rule has to be built for eg. Division 10 i.e. whenever the division at item level is equal to 10 the profit center has to be replaced. After entering the value, press enter. After this you will find in the box above Division in itm = '10'.
Click on Substitutions on the left hand side. On the right hand side enter the profit center number which has to be populated (i.e. the profit center that has to be substituted with) in the sales order line item if the pre-requisite is met. Check the check box next to profit center also.
Click on the save icon. System will give a message save and generation successfully completed. The substitution rule is now created.
Now the substitution rule has to be assigned to the relevant controlling area. To do this, use transaction 0KEL or menu path IMG -> Enterprise Controlling -> Profit Center Accounting -> Assignments of Account Assignment Objects to Profit Centers -> Sales Order -> Sales Order Substitutions -> Assign Substitution Rules. To assign the substitution rule to the controlling area click on new entries and enter the controlling area, substitution rule and active status. Appropriate active status can be given as per requirement for eg: 3.
When the sales order is created, you can observe that the profit center for the line item is 'YYYY' because the pre-requisite is met i.e. the item division of the material in the line item is 10. This means even though in the material master the profit center is 'XXXX', it has been substituted by 'YYYY' based on the substitution rule logic

  • Additional Data On Actual Cost Line Item for Orders. Possible?

Is it possible to show on display of Actual Cost Line Item for Orders the cost center for both settled and not yet settled? As for now we can only view the cost centers that are already settled. Please see attached file for a snap picture of the display.
    Thank you in advance.

    Hi,
How this would be possible? If the document is not yet settled, then cost centre is unknown. Of course, it is stored in settlement rule, but no actual posting was done yet.

  • How to manipulate the profit center in the prod order within an mto-flow

    Hello,
It is allowed in the sales order to change the profit center. I want to copy the entered profit center from my sales order to the profit center of my linked production order which has been created automatically.
I tried already some user-exits (enhancements PPCO000?) but it doesn't work. Who can help me solving this problem?
    Many thanks for helping,
    Bart

    Dear,
Maintain the Profit Centre in Costing 1 View of Material Master.
Then it will be defaulted into the Production Order.
Profit center can be entered at the item level in the sales order T.Code: VA01, in the Account Assignment Section.
If Profit Centre is maintained in Material Master Data, in Sales: General / Plant data, then the same will default in sales order.

  • Profit center field and internal order field in sales order

    srinivas

    Hi Srinivas
If you want to assign the profit center then make sure that the Profit center is assigned in MMR->Sales orgn 1 view .
But to assign the Profit center in MMR also you need to configure the Profit center first for your Material in your company code with the help of FI/CO consultants and then assign then the profit center will flow from MMR to sales order  item data->account assignment tab

Balancing field "Profit Center" in line item 001 not filled
Above error is coming due to splitting .Try to do the following process
First check the line item 001 and get the GL no for which GL you are getting the error.
Ask your FI persons, what is the default Profit Center for that company code.
Goto Tcode FAGL3KEH and enter the company code......enter GL code and Default profit center in the last column.
Before doing this check the Business Area in IT 0027 and IT0001.Make sure that same Business Area in these ITs.
