Proxy monitoring in RWB

Dear all,
in RWB - > Message Monitoring   I can choose Proxy runtime in drop down box.
In my case a error message occurs: "javax.ejb.CreateException: Unable to log on to system B22 in language en with user PIRWBUSER"
Doesn't matter if I select eng or de as browser language.
- Is it generally possible to monitor ABAP proxies in RWB or just Java proxies?
- How to avoid this error?
We send messages via ABAP proxy to SAP system. No error in sxi_monitor or sm58 in PI system, but
the messages does not arraived in SAP system.  We just regenerate the proxy because we added
a new field. After this the messages stuck somewhere.
regards
Chris

Please set the parameter
  -Duser.language=en
parameter on ConfigTool for the JVM settings on both XI and Proxy systems. After that, please check if the monitoring will work.

Is SLD connection working? You can check it with transaction SLDCHECK on the ABAP side.

  • Java.lang.OutOfMemoryError during message monitoring in RWB

Java Engine Problem during message monitoring in runtime workbench!!
Posted: Nov 12, 2007 2:13 AM     Edit      E-mail this message      Reply
    Hi,
Our integrating processes are processing successfully.
But there is a problem during message monitoring.
When I use message monitoring in RWB,
Integration Engine monitoring has no problem.
But there is a problem during displaying adapter engine monitoring.
The message is "java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space".
So I cannot see any adapter engine message.
Actually same error occurred 3 weeks ago.
At that time, we solved the problem with restarting java service.
Does anyone know about this appearance?
And is there any other solution about this problem??
    Thank you.

    Hi,
As per the error analysis, it seems that the java heap space is low. So need to increase the heap size.
    1. Go to the C:\SAP\JP1\JC00\j2ee\configtool folder
    2. Start configtool.bat
    3. Go to cluster-data -> template - template_javaee -> instance - IDxxxxx
    4. Go to the VM Parameters tab and edit the maxHeapSize property
    5. Save and restart the system.
I hope this will solve the problem.
    Regards,
    Sarvesh

    Hello,
I am not able to view the message payload in the audit Log In Message Monitoring in RWB.
    It says no authorization.
Can anybody tell me what authorization object is required for this?
    Thanks,

    Hello,
    Check the link below:
    community/pi-and-soa-middleware/blog/2008/02/07/display-adapter-synchronous-message-content-in-rwb-of-pi-71
The configuration consist to set a parameter on NWA. Check the following step:
    1. Go to <host>:<port>/nwa;
    2. Go to Configuration Management and then Infrastructure;
    3. Java System Properties;
    4. Click on services tab and then search for XPI Service: Messaging System;
    5. Search for messaging.syncMessageRemover.removeBody on parameters tab and modify from true to false. False value should be displayed in the custom value column.
After that, you'll be able to see the payload in RWB.

  • How to restrict user to only see Performance Monitoring in RWB?

    Hi
I have an issue, where I would like to let a business person see how many requests, there have been the last 24 hours for a given interface in PI 7.11. This can be done, in the RWB -> Performance monitoring, but how do I restrict the user, to only have access to the Performance Monitoring link in RWB?
Shold I just give him the UME role "NWA_READONLY" even though, this probably will also give him access to the other links in RWB? Or is there a smarter way?

    Hi,
There is no way to provide access to only Performance monitoring in RWB.

Check SXMB_MONI in Application system not in XI since Proxies are adapter less.

    Hi Venjamin -
I could not expand the XI <SID> node via RWB either, although I could do it in RZ20.
I get the same message as you do when clicking into the <SID> node.  I don't believe this to be an error as no properties such as assigning a auto-reaction method can be maintained for that node.
When you maintain your sub-MTEs (such as 'IEngine_<SID>_<Client> Integration Server' or 'QRFC Queues') under your <SID> node, you'll be able to drill into or select the relevant properties for those elements.

  • Proxy monitoring in PI 7.1

    Hi
Expert. Iu2019m working with PI 7.1
I would to monitor the communication between the  SAP ECC and SAP PI.
SAP ECC and SAP PI communicate by proxy.
I would know if I can monitor the proxy abap using SAP PI Message Error Monitoring based on Message-Based-Alerting (RWB).
I have just defined the alert category in abap stack and in RWB.
In RWB I have inserted all information in u201CConditionsu201D fields  and in the u201CWhere did the error occur?u201D fields I have chose:
    Integration engine : XI Proxy
    Error Code: *
Is this the correct procedure to monitor a proxy abap?
    Thanks a lot for collaboration

    Hi,
    >>I would to monitor the communication between the SAP ECC and SAP PI. SAP ECC and SAP PI communicate by proxy.
go to sxmb_moni in SAPECC, there you can see the message
    >>SAP PI Message Error Monitoring based on Message-Based-Alerting (RWB).
the message which you see in SXMB_MONI of PI you can see it here too. So in proxy also this is possible.
    >>Integration engine : XI Proxy Error Code: * Is this the correct procedure to monitor a proxy abap?
Which option (Component monitoring, Message monitoring etc) in RWB have you selected?

  • Error on SXMB_ADM and proxy runtine in RWB

    Hello all,
    2 questions :
    First one :
I am configuring an abap proxy.
I made all connections and RFC Destination. SLDCHECK working fine.
When i do a check by the t-code sxmb_adm on the receiver system and application system url as dest://<the Http dest con to XI>, a error says :

    Corresponding Integration Server: dest://INTEGRATION_SERVER_ECC
    System Landscape :
No access to system landscape at present
Comparison of Current Configuration with System Landscape
Role of Business System: Current Configuration = System Landscape"
I have check  this blog and i've done everything on it :
    /people/vijaya.kumari2/blog/2006/01/26/how-do-you-activate-abap-proxies
Is this message normal ? As i wrote before, all my RFC/ HTTP destination works fine, idem for my sldcheck on my ECC.
    Second one :
When i look in my RWB -> component monitoring -> Integration Engine -> Proxy runtime
I saw my proxyruntime_ECC in Red. It says :

  • How to change default PIRWBUSER password for ABAP Proxy monitoring ?

    Hi,
Please advise how to change setting for PIRWBUSER in PI so no need to use master password PI in ECC server.
In the Message monitoring you can have option to monitoring ABAP Proxy transaction in the other SAP Instance. But of course you need to have PIRWBUSER in that target SAP instance.
How to change this configuration for PIRWBUSER for other SAP Instance. because other SAP instance it migh have different password for PIRWBUSER ?

  • System Error in Comm channel monitoring of RWB

    Dear all,
I have a Proxy to webservice scenario (HCM-PI-SuccessFactors). At receiver side i am using SOAP AXIS adapter. In RWB, the status of the channel is green and running. But when i ping the channel, it shows System Error.
I have made changes in respective communication channels, activated and cleared the cache. Still same error.
Later taken complete restart of system. Still same error.
    How to overcome this ?
Note : 1) End to end scenario is working fine
              2) Among the three trusted certificates installed, status of one certificate is showing warning (status: which will expire on may 5).

  • Messages remain in Scheduled status in message monitoring in RWB

    Hi PI experts,
I have got a situation where there are several messages showing in the Scheduled status. I followed the path RWB > Message Monitoring > Adapter Engine > Database (Overview) > Display.
QoS for these messages is EOIO, however there are no messages stuck in the queue. All other channels are running smoothly. Only with this particular channel the messages remain in Scheduled status for a long time.
I am neither able to make out the roor cause nor reprocess/resend these messages. Pleaes help.
    Regards,
    Dhawal

    Hi Suraj,
What you said is absolutely correct. However, as I mentioned, the error message was not visible in RWB.
My problem just got resolved. What I did is this,
I followed the link http://<server>:<port>/MessagingSystem/monitor/monitor.jsp which is SAP Message Display Tool.
Here in EOIO Sequence Monitor I found the error message and it's predecessor. When I resent the erroneous message from here, all subsequent Holding messages got processed.
Thank you everyone for your help. Have a gr8 day...
