Purchased Great Gatsby and it doesn't show up in my purchased movies, and it will only let me view the Extras.
I purchased the Great Gatsby, and when I say I want to play the movie now, it takes me to the Extras Preview but doesn't let me play the movie, and there is no play option anywhere. It also doesn't even show up in my purchased movies section. Any thoughts? I am able to download it to my computer, but I want to watch it on my tv, not my laptop.
I would report it to iTunes Store support - I think you are saying that you were able to play it via the Computers icon from your laptop - this mode does not support Extras (typical as that's how I'd use them but can't as you cannot download Extras to iTunes any more).
There are several examples of people trying to play movies from the cloud where the menu does not have the play option.

Yes, but if you delete the iCloud account and start again, don't you have to wait 90 days for everything to start syncing?? I've been having this problem for months and no one seems to be able to figure it out. I used to have one Apple ID (which was not an email address) and then when iOS came along....and iCloud, they force you to use your email address as ID ....which actually sets up a SECOND Apple ID. I have a Mac, iPad, iPod touch and iPhone. the Apple techs tried to delete the iCloud accounts so that they all said the same thing (email address ID) but then I had to wait 90 days. the 90 days just passed and nothing is automatically syncing yet. I still think there are 2 accounts but if I delete all again.....it's going to be another 90 days (for security reasons, I was told). This is a real pain in the butt.

I backedup my iphone 4 to the cloud before upgrading to an iphone 5. I also backedup my iphone 5 to icloud. I can see both phone's backups side by side on the my screen on icloud. But it will not allow me to restore the iphone 4 backup to my iphone 5. I need contacts from the iphone 4 backup but I do not have that phone anymore and icloud will only let me restore the iphone 5's backups to my iphone 5. Is there anyway to get the contacts from my previous iphone 4 backup?
You should be syncing your contacts with an app on your computer or cloud service (iCloud, Gmail, Yahoo, etc), and not relying on a backup. If you haven't been doing this, start now and then restore your old backup. You will then be able to sync the new contacts back into the phone. However, you will lose all messages, etc newer thant the backup.

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.

If you renamed your iCloud ID and need to change it on your device, go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, then sign back in with the new ID. This deletes the account and your iCloud data from your device, but not from iCloud. Provided you are signing back into the same account, your iCloud data will reappear on your device when you sign back in.
To avoid losing photo stream photos, save them to your camera roll (if not already there) before deleting the account. To do this, open your my photo stream album, tap Edit, tap the photos, tap Share, then tap Save to Camera Roll. -

I have been able to suspend my phones for up to 90 days at a time. Now when I suspend the phones it will only suspend the phones for 1 day. Why????
You can suspend for up to 180 days in a rolling one year period. It would appear that you have suspended the line for 180 days since April 2014, so you can no longer suspend it for another 90 days at a time. but only what's left of the 180 days since one year ago today.

Just did the restore feature on my iphone 4 from the itunes account. Now the iphone will only let me use it to make emergency calls. When I connect the iphone to my computer it is not even recognizing the phone.

How do I get albums and songs I have purchased back on my devices? They show up in my purchased list but when I click on them a little circle shows up with an x in it and it won't let me do anything with it. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
The Get Info. fields show up gray if the files is locked and iTunes knows it can't edit the file. Make sure the files are not marked as read only and, if necessary grant both your account and system full access to all files and subfolders of your media folder.
You can set Part of a Compilation for multiple tracks from the Options tab of Get Info.

Turns out I had to 'unhide' purchases. I unhid before but FCP X still didn't show up. I had to sign out then sign back in for some reason. Afterwhich I had to unhide from the iCloud box within the App Store. Worked.

I bought Demi Lovato - "Unbroken" along with multiple other music purchases but this is the only album that does not show up in my purchased area or has the feature of re-downloading when i search it into iTunes. I have a new laptop and even on my old laptop which i purchased it on, it is not re-downloadable or even re-purchasable. I am using the exactly the same iTunes iD. It is in my itunes on my old laptop but I can't download or purchase it again onto my new laptop eventhough it says it has already been purchased but it doesn't show up in my purchased area. Are you sure you meet the requirements? It is not possible to purchase Mavericks because it was a free download. However, you no longer can download Mavericks since the release of Yosemite. If Mavericks works on your model, then so will Yosemite. Frankly, though, for a computer that age I would stick with Snow Leopard. It will allow you to use any older PPC applications none of which will work in Lion or later. Snow Leopard will perform faster for you on that model.
