I am running crazy with this subcription feature, and possibly this is a very basic mistake, but I have been not successful of figuring it out, can someone here give me a hand on this? The problem was I got instant crashes every time these lines executed:
NSString* productIdString = "SomeString";
[[UASubscriptionManager shared] purchaseProductWithId:productIdString];
and what I get in the console after it crashes is always: "'Invalid product identifier: (null)".
And I have noticed that in there's comment that says :
// get the product from the inventory
it seems to me that the inventory has to be initialized in some way or the other but the docs says nothing about this, only leaving an empty comment there. I have tried googling but it seems that no one's struggling with this. Can someone tell me what I am missing in here?
P/S: the sample app that comes with it does nothing more than displaying the subcriptions and does not do any purchases, I wonder what's good is that sample if that's not doing any substantial work anyway?

Do you have the install files? Also, without knowing what your new OS will be, it's hard to say whether CS4 (old version) would even work.
But, if there are no compatibility issues, you have the install disk (with serial number) and you have all the ftp information for your site, you should be able to put Contribute on a new machine. And there would be no cost since you already own the software.
As far as two machines goes, most Adobe software allows for two installs but they have to be for your use only and cannot be used at the same time.

The base mini has 4GB and a 5400 RPM hard drive. It is slow to start up and slow to launch large application such as Word (and I'd assume Adobe Audition) due to the slow drive. I've not used a new 4GB model, just the 8GB model, and the 8GB model (except for the slow drive) handles everything I've thrown at it, including running Photoshop, Word, Safari, and Mail at the same time but there is sometimes a delay switching between programs as the swapfile is updated. Overall I was not happy with the 5400 RPM drive (perhaps because I have MBA and iMac with Fusion drive) so I eventually upgraded it with an SSD. Now the mini is truly a warrior.

Sign out from Creative Cloud desktop application and Sign in with email ID using which you had purchased subscription .

Help - Purchase or Subscriptions - I require the Adobe Acrobat Pro on my 3 work devices?

I purchased the Adobe Acrobat XI Pro - full price 381.65 --- can I use this license number for installing the product on two other devices? Or should I have not purcased and signed up for subscription services? Doing that would I have to sign up for 3 subscriptions to use the product on my new AirMac, my corporate office HP Desktop and my Home Corporate Office HP Desktop?

You have 2 activations per license and that is that. You will never be able to install on 3 devices with a single license no matter what license type. You need to buy a second license.

Trial won't end even after purchase of subscription

I began using PDF online as a trial. I then purchased a subscription. However, every time I try to use the Online PDF conversion, it indicates it is still a trial and I have used my 5 trial PDF conversions. I have searched the website looking for an answer. I also spent 2 hours on hold with customer service (no kidding). I even checked the registration and my subscription to the Online PDF is registered. I then followed the link from my receipt to be sure I was using the right page for the online conversion. Does anyone have any advice??

It only gets better. Adobe CLOSED my first ticket with the following:
"A subscription is currently not showing up in this account. Please contact our customer service department for assistance with this issue.
They can be reached at (800) 833-6687 - 6:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. Saturday- Sunday, Pacific Time.
In the mean time, I have added 10 Create PDF Online conversions to your account."
Today I opened a new ticket:
"I submitted a ticket 0181107380 - it was closed but is not resolved. The problem remains.
When I log in, the system shows I still have a trial even though I registered the product. I checked all the online resources. The
resolution for the last ticket was for me to call customer support. I stayed on the line for 2 hours with customer support. One p
erson asked me to hold and then I never heard from him again. I am not doing this any more. If this is not resolved, I will cancel
the subscription and contact my credit card company to reverse the charge."
This is really nuts. I like the online conversion. Used it with another company in the past. It is a real business time saver. This process, however, is nuts. They should not advertise or direct customers to a resource ("call customer service") if it does not work.

There are other discussions advising deleting the App Store then downloading the Snow Leopard 10.6.6 combo update to resolve this problem but my MBA is running Lion 10.7.x (as supplied, not upgraded).
I have two questions:
1. If I try to delete the App Store (by dragging it to the Trash) I get a message telling me is cannot be modified or deleted as it is part of the OS. So how would I proceed if downloading the 10.6.6 update is necessary?
2. Is it OK to download and install an update for an earlier version of OSX as I would be doing if I followed the suggested resolution?
From browsing the support discussions this seems to be a common problem for OSX 10.7 Lion users. I would expect a resolution via Software Update but all Software Updates are up to date on my MBA.

Since you are running Lion you can use Lion Recovery to reinstall the App Store app.

I cannot purchase a subscription to Adobe Photoshop in Creative Cloud

Hello my account is at [email protected] for Adobe Creative Cloud. I have been using a few apps on iPad and Andriod and wanted to move to a full subscription of Creative Cloud with Photoshop as my first online application. But each time I try to purchase the subscription in the store durring the shopping cart process I get an error that the purchase type is not availible at the moment in the very 1st step of the confirmation process, the error prompts a toll free number I can call, I have called the number but I could not reach a representative that speaks English and when they attempt to transfer me to a rep that does speak English the call is droped. (I am in Switzerland the only language options are German, French or Italian). I would appreciate help with this issue either via online or on the phone.

Industry standard files such as JPEG are compatible with many brands/versions of programs
Proprietary files such as those created by InDesign are often not backwards compatible, due to new features in newer program versions
This is not unique to Adobe... MS Word DOCX files are not backwards compatible with earlier versions of MS Word

I purchased a subscription to Photoshop CS6

I am unable to download it to my mac. I click on the download button in my adobe account where my order says it has been purchased and shows the order number. It brings me to the trial downloads page, and when I click on the photoshop CS6 icon I have 2 choices - trial or more info. I click trial and my browser can't load the page because the address starts withsomething like aam:/ instead of http:/. Very frustrating. I have photos to edit and not much time to do it. I am unable to find a straightforward place to download the app that I have purchased a subscription to.

Please try logging into https://creative.adobe.com/ with the Adobe ID tied to your subscription. You should then be able to download and install the Adobe Application Manager from there and then download and install Photoshop. If you continue to have difficulties please try using a different web browser.

Error occurs when trying to purchase Dreamweaver subscription - Time out error

I am trying to purchase Dreamweaver subscription with my Master Card and when I accept terms and proceed to pay a message box pops up, see screen capture below:
Could this be my Master Card or is there something else perhaps on Adobe's side that causes this error.

There are a number of possibilities, (not including an Adobe server problem).
You have taken too long between entering your details and entering your card details.
You used the browsers 'back' button for some reason.
You have cookies turned off.
For the first item - The application times out when a user takes more time that set between completing the form and entering their card details. This is done as a security measure.
The second item - The use of the back button causes problems as the data sent to the server is duplicated, (often the use of the back button invalidates a purchase process).
The third item - Cookies are required in order for the purchase process to take place.
