Push production

Hello,
I am trying to run Push Production scenario.
I enter Product view of a component and follow menu Goto--->Push production to create an order for finished good. Here I have two questions:
1) I select a purchase requisition with overcoverage alert, and press "Adopt" button. The system shows the surplus quantity of the purchase order in the "Possible planned quantity field". Here it does not check the other components of the finished good, therefore this possible quantity is not much reliable. Is there anyone encountering this problem, how can we make the system check the availability of the other components of the FG.
2) When I select a source of supply in push production screen and press "Order" button I receive below error. I could not find any OSS note for it. Could you help please?
"Cannot convert units of measure
Message no. /SAPAPO/RRP_HEUR160
Diagnosis
Two units that are necessary to calculate the procurement costs could not be converted into each other.
Procedure
Check the data on the Units of measurement tab and the unit of the cost function on the Procurement tab of the Product Master."
I checked the measure unit on the product master but there seems no inconsistency. I did not enter cost function.
Thanks in advance,

Any comments please?

  • STOP pushing product upgrades during on-line chat support!

    I cannot believe that Comcast is making support people push product upgrades so aggressively! Even worse...the deals aren't even relevant to what I need. I don't have a land line so why would I want enhanced vmail? I don't have two HD boxes so why would I care that a second HD box is going to be free?  Also, it is ludicrous that I have to say type "No thanks" over and over again. "Here's a solution to your technical problem. Do you want to get XX for $XX?" Over and over.   I use the support chat feature at least once a month and this whole hard sell is new. Stop it. Now. Please.

    In the other case Apple went 90 days from the date THEY shipped the computer. It makes no sense until you realize there are people who will try to "extend" their warranties indefinitely until they have their first problem by not registering the purchase and trying to provide false data. So Apple puts the onus on you to prove you DID buy it June 29, and that's why I say get your retailer to back you up and it should just be a matter of straightening out the paperwork.
    Good luck, sorry for the snafu, and post back the final result.

  • Process for Renewing Certificates/Push Notifications

    Can someone please help me understand the process for renewing my Apple certs & push notification files? More specifically:
    1. Will Apple notify me when a cert needs to be renewed? Can I do this before it becomes due?
    2. What happens if a cert expires? Will my app no longer work?
    3. Do I need to rebuild/resubmit to Apple my app via the App Builder to update my certs or is there a way to update just the certs via Apple's portal?
    Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

    1. No, Apple does not send a notification. If your dev and dist p12 cents expire, your app will be rejected at some point in the submission process--I don't recall when. It might be while building the app. If you don't update your app, expired dev and dist certs don't matter. Users can still use your app as before. You can even submit an app with expired push certs and your app will work fine--except for push, of course.
    2. The distribution app in the store and on users' devices will still work if the distribution p12 is expired, but you'll need to update the cert before you resubmit a new version of the app. That's my understanding. An expired push production cert affects only push itself. If your push cert is expired, you'll get an error message when you click Notify. Users can still subscribe, download, and view articles regardless of push, but they won't get badges or background downloads.
    3. If your dev and dist p12 certs are expired, just update them before you submit a new version. You don't need to rush to do it. For the p12 push cert, I don't believe that you need to resubmit the app. I believe that if you revoke and rebuild the push certs, the change is registered with Apple, and you can click Notify without an error. I'll be testing this soon.

  • AP WAP4410N Product Info...

    Hello,
    I am planning to buy an access point (WAP4410N) for a meeting room office ...According to Cisco technical documents indicate that the AP is the only work in mixed mode (B / N / G) and supports remote administration with console Telnet (most importantly for me, for remote management access points) and CLI.
    Really is true this AP capabilities ... else could somebody tell me which Cisco product has this conditions for small office and Telnet remote administration ...
    Thank you very much.
    Greetings
    Hola,
    Muchas gracias.

    Hi, My name is Eric Moyers. I am a Network Support Engineer in the Cisco Small Business Support Center.
    Thank you for posting here on the Community Support Forum. It is true that the WAP4410N does offer support through CLI, it is very limited support. It is not a true IOS like the enterprise devices that we offer.  The CLI on this device is based on Linux kernel and is truely not meant to be available for customer use but mainly for advanced troubleshooting and large unit deal opportunities that may need mass deployment/provisioning capabilities.
    Although the interface exists it is NOT supported in our AP line.  The interface is not documented nor has any formal training been delivered to support the interface. There is an honorable mention in the manual due to the fact that the interface simply exists, however it’s disabled by default.
    For technical savvy engineers, there are always ways to push products beyond what they were intended for. That is what makes for great engineers. But if customers need the features that you are looking for with the ability to get technical support the best suggestion I have is to look at our Enterprise line of AP's. We have some great products and they are full of features.
    Hope this answers your question.

  • Push enabled distribution mobile provisioning cert rejected by App Builder

    Hi *,
    with the first app using push notifications we struggled in DPS App Builder 2.6.0.
    The distribution provisioning profile detail view on developers.apple.com lists 'Enabled Services: Push Notifications, In-App Purchase, Game Center'.
    The development provisioning profile states exactly the same.
    APNS certs are set, push is enabled and Adobe Push Server selected.
    Using these distribution provisioning profiles in the App Builder with push messages activated, the App Builder accepts the development profile but does not accept the distribution profile as push enabled provisioning profile! (red box, message stating a push enabled profile must be used).
    Any idea where to start searching or why a profile with Push Notifications enabled is not accepted?
    Thx
    Holger

    Just deleted all mine and started again, generated new app id with push active, new mobile provision files and new Push production and development .p12's and I am getting the same problem.
    According to DPS app builder my push production APNS certificate is not valid! see screenshot below, driving me mad at the moment!!!
    I cannot save my progress in DPS app builder as it will not accept the certificate so need to leave it open till I get it to work.

  • About production

    Hi experts,
    I created 2 production orders, one is standard type, the other is disassembly type.
    Then, in Receipt from Production, I new a document and pushed the button, Production Order, which open a windows but it's empty, shows no any production orders.
    I pushed Return Components button, it also still shows no any production orders.
    Suppose I push Production Order, there should list the first production order I created. and push Return Components, there should list the second production order. But in fact I can't see any orders in the windows,  how can I let my production order appear?
    Thanks...

    For standard Production Order, the status has to be released before Receipt from Production.  For disassemble Production Order, the status also has to be released and before Issue from Production.
    Thanks,
    Gordon

  • Filter xml data Class and use pushView to populate List (Flex Mobile project)

    I am such noob so I apologize for my ignorance. Trying to learn and work at the same time but i'm stumped been searching and my understanding is not up to snuff just yet.
    I looked at the Mobile Shopping Cart that Adobe has little over my head to grasp and impliment but my project is similar without the cart option basically.
    I'm currently using a single view with 3 states
    <s:states>
    <s:State name="default"/>
    <s:State name="productView"/>
    <s:State name="detailsView"/>
    </s:states>
    Default state has a list that uses a xml file with categoryID number's that correspond with the main products xml file.
    Which when the item is selected it filters and updates the List on the productView and so on to the detailsView.
    Like this:
    Category -> Products-> Details
    I'm using a filterCollection from an .as Class file to complete this here is a small snipet.
    private function productService_resultHandler(event:ResultEvent):void
    var productsArray:Array = new Array();
    var resultData:XMLList = event.result..product;
    for each (var p:XML in resultData) {
    var product:Product = Product.buildProductFromAttributes( p );
         productsArray.push( product );
    products = new ArrayCollection( productsArray );
         products.filterFunction = filterForCategory;
         products.refresh();
    private function filterForCategory(item:Product):Boolean{
    return item.catID == selectedCategory;
    public function filterCollection(id:Number):void{
    selectedCategory = id;
         products.refresh();
    Project works great but incredibly slow on Mobile device iOS. In-between the states I have transition animations and it bogs right down.
    So I was trying to experiment by using pushView and basically do the same but utilize Flex's viewNavigator to see if it speeds things up but I can't get the filter function to push the filtered data to the newView component.
    Or I was thinking of trying to order the events such as seletedItem->transition->filtered Data it seems like it is all happing at once and the app just sits for 3 seconds before the state is updated.
    Any help appreciated or more info needed let me know. THX

    So I will solve this later.
    I was able to stick to the original project layout with states within views instead of view states. Ditched the transition Move effects averaging 1 to 2 seconds on all state changes.
    It is a really basic product view app that all files are local. I'm not super impressed at the first go but it works and into the First Project archieve's and will revisit it on version 2. Which will probably start soon. It's better than hello world!

  • BAPI_MOSRVAPS_SAVEMULTI3 creating planned order from Restricted Stock

    Hi,
       We have a requirement where we need to programmatically replicate the Push Production functionality as in /SAPAPO/RRP3 transaction. We are using the BAPI - BAPI_MOSRVAPS_SAVEMULTI3 and it is working fine for conversion of planned orders and Process Orders to component planned/process orders and dependant demand for the parent material. The issue is when we are trying to convert a restricted stock to a planned order and dependant demand using the BAPI, we are getting a message "No valid source of supply could be found". Please let us know if anyone has a resolution to this issue or if any further details are required.

    Hi,
        Tlane is not a field name,I wanted to say Transportation Lane(T-Lane) exist or not in the system for that product-location combination.
    For the SOURCE_NAME field, it is clearly mentioned in the documentation of BAPI that,
    Selection of sources of supply (for example, PP/DS PPM)
    ORDER_END_DATE is used as standard as the selection time for the source of supply (in-house production). If ORDER_END_DATE is empty, the value from ORDER_START_DATE is used instead.
    If a different time should be used to select the source of supply, this can be set using the EXPLOSION_DATE field.
    If a date field is not specified for an order change, the date of the last explosion of this order is used for source of supply selection.
    The entries in the MASTER<...> fields also play a role for source determination. That is, possible sources of supply are searched for on the basis of product, location, quantity, and so on.
    For the selection of sources of supply, the setting from the product master for plan explosion is used.
    If several possible alternative sources of supply are found, the system chooses one source of supply as standard.
    However, if you want to select a specific source of supply that has been found, you can use the fields PLAN_NUMBER + PPM_NUMBER, PROD_VERSION, or SOURCE_NAME. Note that only one combination may be used; you cannot use both PLAN_NUMBER and PROD_VERSION at the same time because both are valid for different source of supply types.
    Please check with the functional consultant, in plan explosion field in product master what value they have maintained.
    Because BAPI will try to get the source of supply name on basis of that field which is mentioned in the documentation.

    Saurabh

  • Recompile all invalid objects in live database

    Hi Expers,
    Just need a clarification on recompiling all invalid objects in production database when the systems is busy.
    i thought of recompile all the invalid objects using utlrp.sql script in my production database since some of few synonyms were invalid after application patch script been implemented last weekeend.
    we have identifed the invalid objects now, i thought to run the utlrp.sql, what will be the consequences.
    Regards,
    Salai

    Hi Hemanth,
    I'd reserve utlrp.sql for upgrades, downgrades and patchsets. I do agree 101% with above point, I a not denying on that.
    If you really have a large number of invalid objects, you might choose to compile a few "selected" objects every hour instead of running a single-shot "compile all invalid objects". Rare but a possible requirement.I came across such requirement during early days of career during pushing product enhancement to production and we would have get to know the things and number of objects which would go invalid as we use to carry out testing on test databases.
    I agree completely utlrp.sql is suggested and should opt for.

  • Unacceptable cloud! Keep CS 6 alive as long as possible!

    Since we got notice, what Adobe did with it´s license model, my colleagues and partner-companies discussed how to go on with that in the future.
    We are all of the same opinion, that this is not acceptable.
    As Adobe knows exactly how to play Monopoly - we feel, that they "force us in their jailcloud" model with no way out.
    They know exactly that they have a nearly standalone situation in a few business-fields. E.g. Acrobat, AE, InDesign...
    And they also know, that, if they once have us in jail, we can´t come out without losing full access to our files (no subscription - no software - no opening of files!)
    No Buy-out solution from Adobe, which makes it possible to have real access to your files after quitting subscription.
    We had a look to many forums around the web & Adobe itself, and we can see that nearly the whole User Community doesn´t want that kind of distribution.
    Only a few (mostly Newcomers) are Pro Cloud.
    Totaly different situation from that Adobe want´s to tell us (...and the market).
    By the side: Nobody understands, why there isn´t a option to get the "cool" cloud OR not (...pay once and lifetime usage - like in the past!).
    So - as nobody wants that - the cause must be: Earn money.
    No word from Adobe about that. Only Marketing Blablabla about the future of cloud-working Blablabla...
    (Not one serious statement! And which really professional company hasn´t it´s own cloud? And why one more cloud from one more sniffing comp.)
    And most of the PRO-Voices didn´t check already, what this model is, when you think it to the end.
    As Adobe is getting more and more arrogant in the last years, we are convinced that the only little chance to make Adobe step back, is, that they see their income flow down.
    (I believe these self loving marketing gurus won´t ever have a look here)
    So our partnership-network decided, that NO ONE will jump on the cloud-jail-train.
    It´s no question, that Adobe will make files from CC-Version incompatible to that ones of CS6 at the start of new features in june or in a very short timeframe afterwards.
    They want to press their cloud into the market as you can see by their methods... Really difficult to find the Selling-Page of CS6.
    Trouble in workflow will be, that if one jumps into Adobes jail, others must follow, if they want to use the CC-files from others afterwards.
    (We know that from past - A new Version of InDesign was never directly compatible to it´s last version for example)
    So the best way to let Adobe feel, what we are thinking about it´s politics is, that as many users as possible decide to do the same.
    KEEP YOUR CS 6 ALIVE AS LONG AS POSSIBLE  - DON´T SUBSCRIBE TO THE CLOUD!
    I also hope that other competitors will see their chance.
    Trust is away. A company which changes it´s distribution such radical will make radical changes in other fields too.
    And Adobe: Stop telling us here, that your cloud-system is cool in any way!!!
    The price was never a matter. But freedom of choice, compatibility and access to my files archive is!
    I - as a ever up to date paying long time user/> 20 yrs - am deeply disappointed!
    Do these guys understand our questions and needs?:

    Any answer / statement here?

    And...
    4.5 stars at the product side resonanz!?
    Only & unique at Adobe.
    Where ever I look to forums all over the web nearly 85 - 90% of the users disagree with Adobes new subsribtion politics.
    I think these product-pages are strictly cencored.
    Also a 2 days old post I made isn´t visible.
    Great pushing products!

  • MEGA PC and new mini PC wirelles

    HI,
    I change default megapc 865 deluxe mini pci pc11b2 wireless adapter to the one Intel PRO 2200BG mini pci wireless ...
    and ...
    megapc 865 deluxe motherboard is death !!!
    what's .. ... shi..t ?
    i change back ... but motherboard still in death ...
    HiFi mode working fine ... PC mode - no beep no post no ... reset and power buton working fine ...
    i make bios reset ... nothing change ...
    why ?? it's not imposible to change this wireless adapter ??? (I need 802.11g standart)

    1) I for most part agree.
    2) I beg to differ. The Mega 865 is still just a pc, and in my opinion a pc is upgradeable if the sitiation calls for it. What you are saying here is after I've put a pc together I cannot change it anymore, because of the possible problems I might have because of the change, and the risk of such a problem forces me to buy a new pc instead. And in this case the reason is quite clear to me, there is a huge benefit of using 54Mbps nic compared to a 11 Mbps one. I
    I must agree with you that as far as pc's are concerned any change will most likely lead to some kind of unwanted behaviour, but thats just a fact of life. I personally learned to accept it, and keep the faith in the fact that a solution is always nearby. And luckely in the last couple of years the information sharing and communication between individual persons has increased dramaticely and therefor the chances of finding a solution, to any problem for that matter, has increased significantly as compared to say 10-15 years ago. Do not get met started on problems I had with pc's back then ....
    It is sad however to see that apperantly manufactorers seem to push products to the markets before they are fully tested and meet the public expectations. I have a DVD player, which is one of the first of its kind. It connects to my LAN and the internet and it can play allmost any format (divx/xvid ... etc) it even has a harddisk, and you can browse internet pages which use a certain custom format. Out of the box the harddisk did not work properly, it took 3 firmware versions to get that working. And there are numerous other issues with it, its just plainly a product only half-way done. The strange part is that even though I have problems with it I still like the device, would I buy it again ? yes I would.
    What is wrong with me ?
    Sorry for going a bit off topic

    I did not turn the power of my computer off during the night, and when I started using it today, I noticed that there were no space at all left on the hard drive. It had gone from 30GB to 0GB during the night.
    I investigated what had happened and found 30GB of "ACC" log files from the last night.
    The contents of these log files were million and million of repeated lines of this sequence:

    I uninstalled the Creative Cloud updater, and the issue disappeared.
    This must be a bug in the updater which should be resolved by Adobe?

  • Why is Creative treating its customers so b

    <SPAN>I purchased a Zen Xtra after looking at all sorts of MP3 player options. I like it, BUT the way Creative has handled the firmware fiasco --- it pains me to say --- I will NOT buy Creative anymore. I won't get Creative.<SPAN>
    <SPAN>
    <SPAN>Any company that lies or rather doesn't deli'ver on its promises --- can't be trusted now or in the future. You are an electronics powerhouse --- act like it --- think customer satisfaction rather than pushing product. I work for an electronics company and consumer electronics are all commoditized --- the only real difference is the functionality of the software on the hardware.
    <SPAN>
    <SPAN>I like my player and hopefully there will be a firmware update --- maybe not. Eight months is a pretty long time to wait. WIRED Magazine has a Vaporware Award list where you can nominate the biggest software that never was and the Creative firmware definitely has my vote.
    <SPAN>
    <SPAN>I think Creative is trying to market too many MP3 players and that could be a reason that they don't seem focused on the customers or hardware already sold. Apple is the segment leader because they actually support the products that already in the hands of customers and people actually know about the products. Stop spending all your money on developing new MP3 players Creative and start promoting the players that you already have. No one knows about the products that you already have --- developing new ones every other week isn't gonna get it done.
    <SPAN>
    <SPAN>Frankly, I tell people that are looking at MP3 players that Creative makes good stuff with the options you want, but if you want support for the product once you buy it --- look elsewhere. The hardware service is good, but software --- firmware/drivers --- is truly inexcusable. Too many products Creative --- it's not helping you; it's making you look irrelevant.
    <SPAN>
    <SPAN>Word of mouth is everything. Look at the (former) Big 3 U.S. automakers. They built crummy cars in the 970's and they never fully recovered mostly because of word of mouth from dissatisfied customers. I can only hope Creative doesn't do the same.

    Let's face it, Zen Xtra customers only want the new firmware because they hope it will turn their players into USB mass storage devices capable of transferring thousands of music files to every computer in the uni'verse.
    The operati've theory seems to be that this will cause a cataclysmic paradigm shift in the music industry. Thousands of artists of mediocre talent and zero artisitic ambition will be put out of work. Record labels, producers, lawyers, and a veritable army of other no-talent middlemen will suddenly be faced with the ugly prospect of working for a living. The entire industry of record promotion will be annihilated as promotion will suddenly become worthless, in fact undesireable, as it will identify artists paying to promote themselves as corporate sellouts.
    This seems to be a lot to expect for a single piece of PAD freeware. In fact, due to the manner in which the Zen Xtra stores music on its HDD, even the relati'vely paltry ambition of a USB Mass Storage Device may be beyond the scope of the Zen Xtra's design. The fact is that these devices are currently in a state of evolution, and the Zen Xtra may simply be a Neanderthal headed for extinction.
    The current top-of-the-line model is the Zen Sleek, which hasn't even been officially released on the western side of the Big Water (which Creative would be advised to remember, is the side that counts). The current North American top-of-the-line model is the Zen Micro, which appears to be receiving the bulk of developmental attention. In other words, if you want free software updates more regularly, you would be better off with one of these newer models.
    When compact disc format was introduced, the music industry predicted that prices would drop uni'versally, such that every hobo in Hoboken would be able to walk into a music store and purchase a brand-new CD just like a real human being. This outright lie was easily bought by the general populace. So when Creative promises a software update sometime in 2005, shouldn't we, as the general populace, accept this wholeheartedly? After all, if we accepted an Outright Lie from a group of known charlatans and liars, shouldn't we accept a Little White Lie from a nearly faceless corporate entity in which we have placed so much personal investment and trust?
    The bottom line is this: it's free, so wait for it, kiddies. Arts Armageddon is just around the corner.

  • PPM & PDS

    Hi, all
    what is the different between PPM and PDS ? what their usage in different scenario
    pls advice

    Hi
    The following planning functionalities are supported by the PDS but not by the PPM:
    u2022 ECM for PP/DS (including the use of phantoms)
    u2022 Subcontracting in SNP is fully integrated with R/3
    u2022 Direct transfer of SNP-PDS from R/3
    u2022 Use of object dependencies in APO
    u2022 Order-BOM and WBS-BOM
    u2022 Rapid Planning Matrix (in combination with R/3-DIMP)
    The following planning functionalities are supported by the PPM but not by the PDS
    u2022 Maintenance in APO. Since it is neither possible to maintain the PDS in APO nor are there any
    BAPIs, it is only possible to use the PDS in combination with R/3.
    u2022 Push-Production
    u2022 Container resources
    u2022 Alternative modes for the PDS can either be created using alternative sequences or resource classification
    but not both.
    u2022 Time-dependent parameter (can be transferred to the PDS using a Badi)
