QI07 to change materials to Blocked stock when they exceed shelf life

I was able to set up the 09 inspection type and run QI07 manually and it did a 344 posting for the materials that where batch managed but not warehouse managed. What do I need to do to make it so the warehouse managed handling units will be changed from unrestricted to blocked stock?

The quantity is transferred from blocked stock to unrestricted-use stock. You can also post the quantity to another storage location.
Possible special stock indicators:

If you selected open a new Apple ID account, go back a step and enter use existing Apple ID.
You will have to set up a separate iCloud account or your iPads will mirror each other.

Posting materials to blocked stock mvt 343 with ref. to a mat doc.

Hi,
I posted a goods receipt for subcontracting with MIGO trx and mvt type 101.
Now I want to post with MIGO a transfer posting (to blocked stock mvt 343) for the related material document but system can't adopt the related materials when entering the material document of the mvt type 101.
System replies with "Selected material document does not correspond with action to be executed"
I can only post manually with MIGO trx the related materials.

Diagnosis
You want to post a goods receipt, goods issue, or transfer posting with a material document as a reference. The document entered does not correspond with the prerequisites in order to be used as a reference using this functionality.
System Response
The prerequisite of this functionality is that there is a material document without a reference, in other words, the document posted at the time must have been an 'Other' goods receipt/goods issue or an 'Other' transfer posting, according to the selection.
If, for example, you want to post a goods receipt, you cannot use a transfer posting document as a reference.
Procedure
Choose a document suitable for the selected activity.

CHaRM - Urgent Change - Transports removed from request when they are released

Hello, I'm in the processing of configuring and testing CHaRM within my landscape. I'm running into a strange problem when creating an Urgent Change. I can create the request without a problem. Then within the request I create a Transport Request (doesnt' matter if it is Workbench or Customizing) and then I create a task underneath that Transport Request. All of that works without an error. However, when I choose to either "Pass Urgent Change to Test" or click on "Release Transport Request" the release job appears to finish successfully, but then the Transport Request is removed from the Urgent Change form. Is the system supposed to work this way or am I doing something incorrectly?

did you put anything in the request or task?
Empty requests and tasks are deleted automatically in ChaRM.

I'm guessing you would like to assign custom ringtones to specific callers? If so, you can do this by opening the Sound profiles and you're looking for the option to "Set Custom Alerts". You can also do this in the Contacts section by highlighting a contact, press the BB Menu button and select Edit. From here, you can scroll to the section on Custom Ring Tones/Alerts, and you can then change the ringtone to whatever you choose.

Need a way to automatically block HU stock when moved to damage bin.

I am looking for a way to automatically block stock when it is moved to certain bins. For example, when a handling unit is moved to a Damage bin (storage type 306), I would like movement type 344 to be executed to automatically hide the stock from ATP. I know that bins can be blocked from stock placement and removal but that is not what I am looking for. I do not want the stock available for sale.
One solution would be to modify our custom RF program to do a movement 344 following the movement 999 (bin to bin transfer) whenever an HU is moved into bins of a certain storage type. However, I am looking for a pure configuration approach or any other ideas.

Quality-Invoicing for Blocked stock

I did GR for material against PO for 50 pcs, During QA32 stock posting i posted 30 pcs to Unres. stock(101) and 20 pieces to blocked stock(350) storage locations.
Now when I am trying to create MIRO invoice verification, I am getting all the 50 pcs and available to post also for the entire quantity. How the system is allowing me to carryout Invoice verification for the blocked stock 20 pcs also ???
It should allow me to process the 30 pcs only which are in unres. stock .
How do I block the blocked stock from getting invoiced ?

Method: Change_at_save. Pls Implement the same, This will not allow to do MIRO for materials in blocked stock.

I want MFBF GR to blocked stock atomatic , with out using a Edit--> change detail settings-Blocked stock setting,
i tried with assigning 103 Mov tye in Rep mfg profile for GR but it is giving Below error,
Update control of movement type is incorrect (entry 103 X X _ F)

Diagnosis
The system could not find entry 103 X X _ F in any of the movement type control tables.
Procedure
Cancel current processing.
Contact your system administrator.
Action to be taken by the system administrator
Check in Customizing for Inventory Management under Copy, Change Movement Types whether the entry is contained in the Update control view for the movement type.
If the entry is missing, proceed as follows:
For standard movement types, this means that the given process is not supported using the present data combination. Do not create any entries without prior arrangement with your SAP consultant. Otherwise, incorrect postings may result.
For customer-defined movement types (beginning with 9, X, Y, or Z), this may mean that they have not been fully defined. Delete the movement type and re-create it by copying a standard movement type.
So could any body help in this regard.

Its my client special req, when ever they wanted to do MFBF it should go to Blocked stock , reason is it will not be allocated to any customer without specific req, based on the customer requirement, the material will be moved to unrestricted stock with special labeling against the customer and customer label and code , with Testing,

Hi Madhu,
You need to maintain settings in inventory management OMJJ transaction.
For mvt type 103 set the allowed transactions MFBF and maintain update control /WM mvt types setting
for 103 mvt and mvt indicator 'F'.
Discuss with MM and FI members before these changes.

Hi gurus
Can somebody tell me how to move goods from unrestr to blocked stock.
when I look into TC MB11 I can find a lot of possible movement type e.g. from QA to block.....
But I can't find any from unrestr to blocked.

Quality to blocked stock

Dear Experts,
In production case if some materials is rejected by quality moudle ( qm ) and send to blocked stock. Now PP dept. wants to reprocess of this mateiars can they use this materials from blocked stock if yes How ?

Hi pooja,
Yes, You can use the blocked stock for reprocessing by moving the stock from blocked into unrestricted (If u want to use directly) or Quality stock (If u want to re-inspect the stock).
You can transfer the stock using transaction MIGO and select Transfer Posting with movement types 343 (for unrestricted use) and 349 (for Quality purpose).

Warning when moving allocated stock to blocked stock

Dear all.
we are facing a problem with our quality / mm flow. We have materials that while in stock need regular quality inspections (every 72 hours) .
Batch is inspected and passed inspection and allocated to a sales order / delivery but will only be shipped in a few days. Then the batch is inspected again and does not pass inspection. The inspection people move the material from unresticted to blocked status.
However the delivery is goods issued and send to the customer because the quality inspection people don't get a warning that the batch is already allocated to a sales order when they do the goods movement into blocked stock.
Anybody has a sollution?

thanks for the info. However if I understand correctly this means that every batch needs quality inspection before PGI and that is not the case.
Every 72 hours the batch will be quality inspected. In most cases the delivery and the PGI will take place within the first 72 hours. However in some exeptional cases the inspection will take place between Del note creation and PGI (not on purpose, just the 72 hour boundry, the quality inspection people are not aware of the delivery)
At that time the batch is already allocated to a delivery yet during the quality inspection the batch fails the qualifications and will moved to blocked stock.
The people who move the batch into blocked stock need the warning that this batch has been allocated to a delivery so that it can be stopped before the trucks leave our property.
